31. Chapter 31

And my only goal was to have a bunch of girls to shag and earn a shitload of Money. I got both, now the trick is to keep them happy and my bank account having more than seven figures. It is time to reorganize a bit.

31 Making waves.

Well, Beast Country was not up to date, Inari is on Eight-Tails now, and Kacha is a beautiful Lioness, their next goal is [Restoration Magic]. Elena is tutoring them on how she combined Magic with modern science, I did my part too, it is a matter of time before they reach their goal. A Nine-Tailed Kitsune and a Royal White Tiger did not appear in centuries, now there are two of them at once. I wonder what will happen when they learn a tenth Magic.

Aya, Mai, Yurie, and Yuki did their research on a Paper Mill and a Distillery on the web and ordered two small ones on my account from the Cayman Islands, the one u use to sell my gold.

As with the Sugar plant, I hired a truck and stored it in my [Inventory] a few miles down the road, and returned the truck back to the rental station.

Kacha and Inari helped me install the equipment, I powered it with my [Biri-Biri Generator], I know, the name still sucks, but it is free electricity. Benora and Tanasha were attending and soaking up the knowledge of how to operate the equipment. The [Magic Stone of Language Acquisition +3] Japanese and [Eidetic Memory] made them understand the manuals.

To speed the process up, I used a feature of my inventory I hadn't tried before. The Molasses from the sugarcane has to ferment first, I added some yeast to the barrels and put them in my inventory. Then I [Speed Up Time] to three weeks for the barrels. I don't want to spoil all the meat I stored in there. Crap! Everything aged three weeks! I took the barrels out and [Reversed Time] for three weeks, to get back to normal. This [Inventory] is such a cheat, it cost me a lot of MP to do it though.

Although I am not going to risk all that meat just for some Rum. I, with Ori's and Toki's help, made a [Magic Stone of Inventory +5]

The production of Rum was running smoothly, barrel after barrel was being filled. Small 5-gallon oak barrels and 10-gallon oak barrels were set aside to age.

For the printing press, we opted to install it in the basement of the [Hero Shop] in Ikebu. We bought an old model and adjusted it to our needs, Ringo used her skills to make the Delaidos alphabet molds, aided by Kacha and Inari, both are trying to learn as much as they can before they return to Beast Country.

Anyway, I stored the old Printing press in my [Magic Stone of Inventory +5] and used half of my MP to [Reversed Time] for that Press, it was almost brand new when I took it out… I can make a killing by restoring cars or paintings for example.

When all that was happening, Nancy's Jewelry was ready for action, we installed the System, and the staff got hired, some pretty faces behind the counter and a store manager. While Nancy's Jewelry was getting ready to open, Nancy was already looking at Yokohama and Osaka to open branches. Her [Bracelet of Appraisal] made her hire trustworthy employees, I said it before, having Magic is a cheat.

I quit my Job at the firm and Nancy hired me as a consultant and translator on a freelance basis. Nancy's Mother flew in for the Grand opening, just like in the novel she is a whirlwind of energy.

In her hotel room she inspected Ringo's designs up close, she said: "Nancy, you did not tell me that these jewels are impossible to make with normal machinery, also the alloy of most of them is unknown. Who made these? You can not expect me to believe a student created these. Who taught her?"

Nancy looked pleading at me, I shrugged to let her know it was ok for her to tell. I made the room Soundproof with my [Barrier]. Nancy explained: "Seiji taught Ringo how to create them, he even taught me. The one you are looking at is a joined design from Ringo and me, I used the gemstones I brought from home. The secret technique is Seiji's property, Ringo and I are allowed to use it for our Store. It is not fit for mass production, most are single-handed made."

I can live with that explanation, Nancy's Mum grabbed me by the collar and pulled me closer.,"I want to buy the composition of that silver alloy! How much do you want? One million Dollars? Two? How about being my son-in-law? I bet Nancy will agree! I think Ringo will join too."

I chuckled, she was offering something I already had, Nancy and Ringo were blushing red hot when Nancy's Mum made the offer, she noticed my amusement and the girls blushed.

"My, you work fast, son-in-law," she said slyly, "This will save me a lot of money. Welcome to the family, both of you."

She turned back to me and took a small case out of her purse, she handed me three pieces from that case, and asked: "What can you tell me about these stones?"

I appraised one:

Ringo studied the Ores and said: "I am almost at the level that I can process these, Seiji, I bet Nancy is too. The size of the Ores is a matter of concern, to get some decent results stones from level twenty and higher can be used, the quality from the lower Levels is not that good and is too small."

Nancy was studying another ore and commented, "The cutting of those Gems will be hard to do, that is a skill that takes years to learn."

Nancy's Mum's eyes shined brightly, "But it can be done by you! I saw the brooch you gave to Nancy and recognized the stone, it was uncut, but it was processed into a shape."

Damn! I forgot there was a mine in Bhutan that excavates those Ores, I sighed and answered: "Yes we can process those Stones, not in the high quality you need yet, but we will soon. What we need is your discretion about it."

"Call me Mum, Son-in-law, you too, Ringo, consider yourself a daughter of mine," exclaimed Mum, while pulling Ringo and me into a hug, "we're going to be a happy family." she gushed.

Nancy groaned, her Mother was always hyperactive, she better set her straight now: "That family is going to be bigger than you think, Mum. There are some others involved in our relationship, and some secrets that need to stay a secret."

Mum looked at Nancy and asked: "Secrets that make the security lose track of you every time you leave Seiji's apartment? Does it involve those girls living in that apartment? Girls that can not be tracked either?"

Nancy nodded, "Exactly those secrets, Mother. We are doing something that the governments will fight over to get their hands on it. Secrets that will force us to disappear when they find out about us. So keep quiet please."

Mum got serious and shook her head, "I need to know those secrets before I give my blessing, Nancy, you know that. These designs are something no machine can make, this alloy is unique, yet you have no workshop that can melt metals of that kind. You can process Stones harder than Diamonds, but you don't have equipment for it. It is making the Secret Service nervous that you can shield your apartment from them, they see people disappear without a trace each day. Do I need to say more?"

I answered: "Explain first why the Chinese Mafia is after Nancy that fanatically. It can not be only for the store is it?"

Mum looked deeply into my eyes, "No it isn't. It is for those Ores, we have an exclusive contract with a mine in Bhutan. First, we planned to open a store in Beijing, but we found out that one of our executives had connections with the Chinese Mafia, supposedly to smuggle drugs. But we found out it was for these Ores. They must have found another use for it because they are going after it like bloodhounds."

I sighed, "Come for dinner at our apartment and we will explain everything, Nancy and Ringo will bring you. I need to take out some trash."

I eliminated the Chinese Mafiosi that were guarding the Hotel and our apartment, they are being filmed from afar to see how they disappear, too bad, they vanish too, I gained some high-quality surveillance equipment.

I warned the girls about our guest and the reason for it, then I started to prepare dinner. Hilda came with her friends when school was out, soon to be followed by the College girls, Lydia, Kacha, and Inari were next to drop in, and Lela and Elena were the last ones.

I explained the situation: "Earth has [Empty Magic Stones] too, a mine in Bhutan is excavating them for Nancy's Jewelry. The Chinese Mafia is trying to get their hands on them, and are tailing Nancy. I take care of those tails every day, but it got the attention of the Secret Service, they informed Nancy's Mother. She only wants to keep still if she knows our secrets."

I looked around and asked: "What are we going to tell her and what are we going to keep a secret? Nancy and Ringo are bringing her in a half hour."

Elena looked at Lela, who nodded, Elena said: "You can tell her about our world, Lord Seiji, but keep the fact that we are from Delaidos a secret, or the fact that we can travel freely both ways. Once a week or with heavy costs, for example. Downplay your Magic skills too, she will be mostly interested in Earth Magic and how to create Jewelry."

Lela added: "Keep the Hero part a secret too, a Rogue Magician summoned you for example."

Well, she didn't forget, after our dinner, we went into my office, when we were seated, Elena, Lela, Aya, Nancy and Ringo were present, while the others did their homework.

Luckily I gained some Magic powers, [Space-Time Magic] and [Earth Magic] were among them. I have the ability to travel to that world once a week. I taught Ringo and Nancy [Earth Magic] because we love them, and they need it to create Jewelry. I taught Nancy Japanese too, she can speak, write, and read it as well as her English. You have to understand that we can not reveal all our secrets though."

Mum looked wearily at me, "That is hard to believe, can you prove it?"

I projected the Beacon I set up in Ikebu Town and moved it outside the building, it showed a Medieval Town with a huge Tower.

"Outside the technology to project these images, you can see this Town is not from this Earth." I showed her, "Look at the animals they have, you can find none of them on Earth. Ringo, demonstrate how you make your Jewelry please."

I moved the Beacon back into the building and closed it off, while Ringo demonstrated her skill. Finally Mum said: "I think you told me the bare minimum, but I can accept that I would do the same. You proved that you can keep Nancy safe, it was you that made those men disappear isn't it?"

I grinned: "Now why would I ever admit something like that? Perhaps they lost their way, Tokyo is a mighty big City after all. Yes, I can keep Nancy safe, but if you want me as a son-in-law, be prepared to have a lot of Daughters-in-law."

Mum looked around at the smiling faces and asked: "All of them?"

Elena shook her head, "No, Hilda and her classmates are not included."

Mum commented: "That is still a lot of them, Seiji, can you handle that many girls?"

Lela, smiled dreamily, "Yes, he can, and has room for more if he has to."

I gave a vial of [Elixir] to Mum, "Drink this, this will correct every defect on your body, it can even grow back lost limbs, and cure Cancer."

Nancy said: "Drink it, Mum, it is safe, everyone here had it, we are now in prime condition. This is one of those secrets that needs to stay a secret. It is difficult to make and very expensive."

I commented, "Don't worry, the listening equipment from the Secret Service won't work here. This apartment is completely closed off from listening and video equipment."

Mum paled, "You knew? How? When?"

Elena said: "Some are here temporally, some will stay as friends with benefits, most of us will form into a happy family. We love Nancy, but I think she has not fully decided to join us yet. She is a part of us either way."

Nancy looked at her Mother: "If I join Seiji, we will get exposed, we are always in the spotlights, with me in the family, there will be a lot of reporters that are going to stalk us."

We finished our talk and discussed the press conference at the opening of the shop, Nancy and Ringo will be introduced as the driving force of the store, with Ringo as the exclusive designer from the Japanese region.

The opening went without a hitch, Ringo's designs were an instant hit with the public. The exclusive items, no more than five made from each model, were in high demand all over the world. Tokyo's Nancy's Jewelry had a good start, Nancy proved her worth and got permission to manage the South East Asia region and open new stores.

I got tired of the Chinese Mafia and set Ori on them, I showed some of the Cell phones to her, "Here, Ori, try to locate their base in Japan and follow it to China, it is time I crack some skulls."

Two hours later Ori came back, "I found them, but you need to hurry, they have an expert hacker, they discovered my presence, the way to China is cut off. Here is the address in Tokyo."

I popped in at the top floor, invisible, I started to loot the place, silencing them and freezing them in place, one by one they found their way into my [Inventory]. Ten floors down, I got them all. I popped away, leaving a Beacon in an empty building behind.

Elena and Lela reformed the Military, every Town had a communication post in the command center, and a Magic squad to hunt Rats and Wolves to train the recruits and do pest control. It made them popular with the locals, the Rats were a big part of the famines that happened over the years.

The King and Lyle were in command in name only, the generals listened to Elena and Lela, especially after they saw them in action against the Goblin army and the founding of the Magic Corps. Getting three hundred new Magicians is unheard off, the feat of building a new command center in Ikebu Town in one day sealed the deal.

Lydia was swamped the first days after opening the Hero Shop, she opened on Friday, so I could help out, and the others all weekend. Hilda, Minato, Himari, Reina, Haruto, and I were in the Backyard teaching Spells to the new Magicians, Inari and Kacha helped at the counter with Yuki. Mai, Aya, Yurie, Tsumugi, and Rin were busy creating new Spell Stones. In one weekend, five hundred new Magicians were made, and three hundred Magicians got two or three new Magic Powers to play with. [Fire Magic] was the most popular one.

A lot of young Adventurers bought [Magic Spell Stones] on credit, Lydia warned them: "With that many new Magicians, prices are going to drop considerably, so don't do anything foolish, and think of ways how you can make money with your new Magic skills."

Once the weekend was over, everything settled down. Most of my short-term goals are reached, now it is time to see what Earth has in store for me.
