Ricardo takes advantage of offering to help promote Alberto's federation by going to Mexico City. Partially for work, partially for exploring. Alicia, upon finishing up with the Raw Reunion show, joins him, and they go to so many places that his head begins spinning. "The pyramids were incredible," he says quietly that night, running his fingers through her hair.

She smiles sleepily and nods. "Yeah, they really were. I'm glad we were able to go up as high as we did. The view was amazing."

"Yes it was," he says, staring down at her affectionately. She smirks up at him and he leans in, kissing her lightly. "We have a couple more days before we have to head back for Alberto's next show..."

"Mm hmm," she intones softly. "I'm sure we'll think of something to do..." His eyes gleam and she laughs. "I love you."

"I love you too," he says quietly, cupping her face and kissing her deeper, longer. She sits up and he exhales shakily as she straddles him, bodies pressing close, melting into each other as need and heat spread between them. "I don't have any other interviews to do until tomorrow."

"Good to know," she hums into his mouth and takes over, pressing him into the pillows as she lightly scrapes her teeth against his lips and softly bites down, causing him to moan breathlessly. She grins, eyes alit with pleasure at urging such noises from him so easily, and he sighs, fingers grazing along her hips as she settles against him. "Do you ever think about what our kid might look like?" she wonders and he hisses, trying to think as she continues to kiss down his jaw, distracting him terribly from her words.

"Uh. Beautiful," he whispers. "Dark hair... soft eyes, maybe hazel like mine, preferably darker like yours..." His hands continue trailing up her skin and she lets out an appreciative noise. "Brown skin... breathtaking like its mother, clearly..."

She smirks, tilting her head as she stares down at him. "It almost sounds like you want our child to be a carbon copy of me..."

"Would that be a bad thing?" he wonders and she barks out a faint, strained laugh as he continues touching her, touch alone enough to bring wonderful sensations up her spine.

"No," she sighs. "But you're a handsome man, too, Ricardo, and if our child looks like you, it'd be lucky too."

He shrugs, staring up at her. "I guess... my sister looks a lot like me, and she's beautiful, so-"

"Yeah, see?" Alicia smiles down at him. "Our child will be luckyno matter which way its genetic lottery leans." She kisses him again, then whispers, "I do hope it has your intelligence though."

"And I hope it's brave and strong like you," he says with a soft grin as she kisses him again.

Mexico City comes and goes, and takes some of the joy with it, because somewhere along the way, Ricardo throws his back out again. And flights back to Texas are delayed, leaving Ricardo afraid he's going to miss the next event. But he makes it, barely, and Alberto takes one look at him and gives him a lesser role for the start of the evening, making him sit in the back and figure out lighting and other cues to make sure the presentation goes off as well as it can. It's frustrating but he's relieved all the same, not wanting to risk ruining the show or do anything to threaten Alberto's success still so early in the federation's life.

"Lo siento," he says once the show ends and Alberto shakes his head. "I didn't mean-"

"Shhh," he lightly chides him, rubbing his shoulder briskly. "You did the best you could, and the promotion you gave us in Mexico City was impressive. Mucha gracias, mi hermano." His touch shifts and he begins working out the kinks in Ricardo's back, listening to his soft sighs and faint whispers in Spanish, grinning as he slumps in his seat, finally relaxing as some of the tension leaves him. "There you go. That is better," he hums, continuing to massage Ricardo's back. "My driver will take you home whenever you're ready."

"He doesn't-"

"Si, he does," Alberto says softly. "Go home to Alicia, get some rest. I will see you in a few days, we will discuss the next event then."

Ricardo sighs, nodding. "Alright, El Patron. Gracias."

Despite Alberto's easy acceptance of how the night has gone, Ricardo can't help but feel somewhat like a failure as he gingerly walks out of the building and heads for the car, tired and eager to get home and relax with Alicia.
