Chapter 9:

(Okay, we kick things off! First, we take the next step to fix Freddy and then we see how the boys handle that situation. And Bonnie will have some other interactions, here! Enjoy the chapter.)

Freddy had filled his best friend in on what to for the moment. While the boys figured out how to turn on the lift to Parts and Service, Bonnie would be carrying his friend to the stage lift. Freddy had reposed in Rest Mode once again, while Bonnie would drag him by his shoulder. "Make it a note to never skip leg day." Bonnie said to himself, pretending to strain himself from trying to carry Freddy.

Bonnie tried to be careful of who he ran into, and to stay vigilant for when his vision would go blurry from the rabbit lady the boys keep seeing. "Okay, Freddy. Once I get you to the lift, I'll head back so the boys have backup." Bonnie said, talking to his unconscious friend. "I hate that I have to leave those two to fend for themselves." Bonnie regretted bringing his son here, all he wanted was for him and his little rascal to have fun and check on his friends. This pushed him to disobey Asher, the rabbit wasn't the brightest, but even he knew that he shouldn't have been so stupid.

"Hold out for a little bit longer, kiddo. It'll be okay. God-willing, like Asher always says." Bonnie said, praying to God right now that his son would be okay. When Bonnie stopped for a moment, he could hear Freddy was waking up. "What…I am…I am awake!" Freddy had said, rather gratefully.

(A few minutes earlier)

Gregory and Sammy traveled through the darkened warehouse that was the Backstage Area. Tons of cargo and things Sammy didn't know what they were had surrounded the area, turning it into a maze. Sammy thought of Legend Of Zelda for a second, the boy yawned before his friend had grunted, "Rgh! These bots are everywhere!" Gregory had said, "We should hide." Sammy said, "Where? I don't see anywhere to hide right now." Gregory said, "S-Sorry. I'm just on edge." Gregory was worried for Freddy's safety, more so than he would think. "I-It's okay. We gotta fix Uncle Freddy, right?" Sammy asked, looking for a way out, "Gregory? What about this door?" Sammy asked.

"Hmm…yeah, that's it! Come on, this'll take us back to Rockstar Row!" Gregory said. The boy had originally seen where the Stage Control room had been. Gregory knew where to go, thankfully. Sammy looked at all the stuff that was on display.

"Okay, we're back here. Come on, the control room is this way." Gregory got his badge when they got closer to the door.

The door opened for the boys, to reveal a stairway, "Okay, watch your step and don't make so much noise." Gregory advised, Sammy nodded, listening to his new friend. The two walked through a door with Glamrock Chica's guitar. The control room was filled with tons of tv monitors and a bunch of weird "control panels", Sammy thought those were the words. "Okay, you can rest for a little bit. How…are you doing, Sammy?" Gregory asked.

"I'm tired…" Sammy had said, "Just a little longer, okay? We can rest once we fix Freddy up." Gregory said, trying to keep Sammy's head in the game, but still trying to keep him calm. "Here, let's recharge the flashlights!" Gregory said, putting the flashlights in the charging stations.

"All right, let's look around for the stage lift controls." Gregory said, looking at all the labeled buttons on the panels. Sammy looked around, "Oh! A security badge!" Sammy said, "Should I take it?" Gregory nodded, Sammy booped the nose of the Freddy head and heard the party sound. It made Sammy giggle, slightly. "Okay, we got another one." he said, handing the badge to Gregory. "Hmm…there's something else here." Gregory found an old looking computer disk next to it. "I'll ask Freddy about it." Gregory said, looking for the controls.

Then, the two heard sirens going off. "Wh-What's that?!" Sammy asked, frantically. "Gregory? Sammy? Can you boys hear me?" They saw Freddy showing up on the monitor. "Freddy! Are you okay?" Gregory asked. "I am fine, superstar. My backup power just booted me up. Consider it a second wind, of sorts." Freddy said, happily.

Sammy smiled, "Where are you, Uncle Freddy?" He asked, "I and Bonnie are currently heading to the control room to come get you boys." Freddy explained. Gregory looked around, and saw that they weren't the only ones coming. "U-Uh oh, Freddy, I can see Monty and Roxy on the cameras! They're coming for the office!" Gregory said.

"Do not let them in. The security doors are equipped with electrical deterrents. If you see them banging on the door, hit the appropriate button. The shock should stun them." Gregory nodded, "W-Won't that hurt…them?" Sammy asked. "Sammy, we can't care about that right now. Freddy, how do we get out of here?" Gregory said.

"Do you boys see a large vent on the floor? You are probably standing right on top of it." Freddy had asked, and Sammy looked beneath him to see. "I get it! It's like Among Us!" Sammy had said, figuring it out. "Gregory, we gotta vent!" Gregory sighed, "Good job, Sammy. We should be able to force it open from the room under you and let you out through there." Freddy said.

Gregory and Sammy looked in the directions Roxy and Monty were coming from. Freddy looked and he could see, all the doors appeared to be on lockdown. "Boys, look for Bonnie and myself on the monitors. If you see us waving, push the button in front of the corresponding monitor to open the door." Freddy said.

"Okay, Sammy, you handle the deterrents! I'll look for the monitors." Gregory said, "Press the buttons near the doors." Sammy nodded, but reluctantly, not wanting to hurt the robots. Then, the monitor flicked and Freddy wasn't there anymore. "There you are, friends. See you soon!" It was the rabbit lady.

The boys were more anxiety ridden than before, Freddy showed himself on the monitor again, he looked afraid. "That voice…Hurry, boys! We cannot see her, so we cannot stop her!" Freddy said, now frantic for the boys's safety than before. "We're going! We're going!" Gregory said, checking all the monitors for the two Glamrocks.

Sammy looked at the screens where he could see his Uncle Monty and…wherever Roxy was supposed to fall into the family-umbrella. "I-I'm sorry about this, Uncle Monty!" Sammy said, pressing the button. Electricity lit up over the door, "ARRRGH!" Monty grunted, feeling the pain of being shocked.

Gregory looked at the monitor where Freddy and Bonnie were waving from and opened the door for them. "Okay, next door!" Gregory said.

Sammy looked for each door they were banging on. "P-Please just leave us alone!" Sammy shouted, pressing the button. The boy could feel the guilt of what was happening crawling on his shoulder. "Boys! Can you see us?" Gregory heard Freddy ask from the cameras.

"Give up, you little cowards! You think I want to keep doing this?" Roxy shouted, angrily, with Monty sounding more and more angry by the minute. "YOU BRATS BETTER STOP SHOCKIN' US, Y'HEAR ME?!" Monty banged on the door more aggressively. Sammy's heart started pounding at all the shouting, "I'm sorry!" Sammy apologized, pressing the button to shock Monty. Gregory led Freddy and Bonnie into the next room near Rockstar Row.

"Okay, last one!" Gregory had said, pressing the button. "Sammy, one more time!" Gregory and Sammy checked cameras and shocked the respective doors for the animatronics to buy them some time. Finally, they heard the metal clanging, they saw Bonnie's blue silhouette open the vent. "Guys, down here!" he shouted to the boys.

"Sammy, come on!" Gregory said, Sammy following behind. Bonnie and Freddy had their hands out, ready to catch the boys when they jumped down. Sammy close his eyes and jumped down first, "I've gotcha, rascal!" Bonnie said, grabbing his son, "Papa!" Sammy was crying, not wanting to let go.

"Rgh! Gregory grunted when Freddy caught him. "Are you okay, superstar?" Freddy asked, holding onto his stomach. "I-I'm okay. I'm more worried about you, Freddy." The robo-bear looked more dirtied. Gregory explained that they couldn't find any stage lift controls, and explained that he found some sorta of disk. Meanwhile, Bonnie picked up his son, and tried to calm him down.

"Follow me to the atrium. That is a program disk for the stage show. If you use it in the sound booth, you should be able to run a showtime program to active the lift." Gregory nodded and looked at the crying Sammy. "It's gonna be okay, rascal. I'm here…" Bonnie looked sad, "I was bad…" Sammy said, trying to dry his tears. "I'm sorry, Papa. I hurt them…" Bonnie knew it was self defense, but Sammy never wanted to hurt the animatronics. "Don't be upset, kiddo. I know you wouldn't do that to anyone on purpose." Bonnie calmed his child down. Sammy sobbed quietly, with the robo-rabbit patting his back.

"Shhh…Come on, let's get out of here." Bonnie said, having Freddy lead the way to the atrium. Freddy knew something was wrong, as much as he wanted to comfort Gregory and Sammy, he couldn't bring himself to, fearing what would happen if he lost control.

He opened the door, and saw bright colored lights of the atrium. "Bonnie, my systems are failing. Take the boys to the sound booth on the third floor balcony. And please no tomfoolery." Freddy said to his best friend, "Aww shucks, I'm genuinely hurt there, buddy." Bonnie said, cracking a joke.

"Gregory, you should be able to run the performance program on that disk, then you all should be able to meet me back on stage." Freddy explained, keeping track of the time. It was near the end of another hour. "We must hurry, we do not have that much time." He said.

"Okay, there's no time like the present. Let's go, Gregory." Bonnie stayed on guard with all the security bots looking around. "I'm happy we managed to get there in time, kiddos." Bonnie said, relieved they managed to get the boys out before that rabbit lady would show up.

"Yeah, that's was probably the most scary thing we've had to do this time." Gregory said, shining his flashlight on his way to the of the escalators.

"Ok, then. So, getting up there shouldn't be that bad." Gregory said, "Sammy, you okay?"Sammy said nothing, but it looked like he was falling asleep.

"N-No! G-Gotta stay…awake…" Sammy said, Bonnie patted his son's back. "We'll find a place to rest soon, kiddo, okay?" Bonnie said, keeping the lookout and saw that Chica was nearby. "Get ready to hide, rascals." Bonnie said, putting Sammy in the Photo Booth, and Gregory hiding alongside him.

"Sweeties, your families are worried sick about you." She said, looking around. "I'll distract her to make her leave." Bonnie whispered, walking toward the robo-chicken. Seeing an old friend who was "decommissioned" was obviously surprising.

"Bonnie!" Chica ran up to hug the robo-rabbit. "W-Whoa there, Chica!" Bonnie hugged her back, still admittedly missing her. "How?! I was wondering why Roxy was so happy for a bit, but…I am so happy to see you!" She said, "I'm happy to see ya, too, sis." Bonnie said, trying to think of a way to get her to leave.

"I…I keep my bowling ball with me, now. No one but Monty has been up in the alley, lately." She explained, "Aww, and I always thought Monty thought he was too cool to miss me." Bonnie winked. Chica looked at him, "Hey! There's no need to be rude! You don't know how all of us took your disappearance." Bonnie looked upset. "My bad. I'll talk to him if I can find him. …So, I heard you're searching for two kiddos?" Bonnie had asked. Just like with Roxy, her eyes lit up bright purple. "Do you know where they are?" Chica had asked, now sounding desperate in all the wrong ways.

"Uh…Uh…Well, I thought I saw them wandering by the Roxy Raceway a few minutes ago. Ya might wanna look there." Bonnie faux-suggested. "I've got you now~." She said, singsong-ishly menacing.

Chica was walking away on her wild goose chase, "Chica…" Bonnie lamented, Gregory and Sammy walked out of the Photo Booth. "Are you okay?" Gregory asked, Bonnie rubbed the back of his head, "Is the ocean bright blue?" Bonnie asked, trying to laugh it off.

Sammy hugged his father, Bonnie winced and picked him up. "Sorry, kiddo." Bonnie apologized for bringing him here, and for his life being in danger. Some papa he turned out to be, "It's gonna be okay, Papa." Bonnie felt happy he still had Sammy and Freddy. "You guys done? Let's get back to saving Freddy." Gregory said, snarky.

"Right. Thanks for the motivation, rascals." Bonnie had said, walking up the escalator. Gregory ran ahead, before reaching the sound booth. Gregory pulled out the performance disk, "Okay, make sure it's clean before ya put it in, Gregory." Bonnie joked, "I'm pretty sure Freddy said "no tomfoolery."" Gregory said.

Gregory opened the disk player and played the performance disk. "That should do it. Come on, let's go." Gregory said, before seeing the huge holographic projections of the Glamrock Animatronics. Music had started playing over the sound system. "Whoa, that's the song!" Sammy said, "Yeah, the staff normally do this if we've got our routine maintenance on a birthday." Bonnie explained.

"Yeah, I think my friend Tony always figured. He's pretty sharp like that." Gregory said, looking to his side. "Everything okay, Gregory?" Sammy asked, innocently.

"Y-Yeah…I'm okay…" the boy said, walking down the escalator. Bonnie and the boys were walking back to the first floor and he started to see it yet again.
