Chapter 11:
(Okay! Back again, I hope a lot of y'all are okay, what with Hurricane Beryl going by down. My power's been knocked out, but here I am! Anyways, I got a question to anyone who wants to help me figure the next few chapters! Anyways, we're making it outta the protective cylinder with this one! Enjoy! (O))
Gregory, Bonnie and Sammy opened the doors to Parts and Service, "I hope Freddy's okay in there." Gregory said, before they all started to hear a conversation. "Anyways, I found them earlier and left them in Lost & Found." A voice had said, it was the security guard Vanessa's. "That is great news! They can be returned to their parents." Freddy was hoping that the boys were safe, while the three in question looked at the conversation.
"They can't. You didn't let me finish. Turns out there's no records on either of them from the database. And when I went to go check on them, they were gone." Vanessa explained, brushing the side of her hair.
"How unfortunate. If you re-attach my head, I will go look for them now." Freddy explained, the security guard looked suspiciously at the robo-bear. "Their names are Gregory and Sammy. Wanna know how I know that? Gregory's Fazwatch kept repeating it—in YOUR voice. "Gregory? Are you there? Gregory?" Vanessa imitated the lines with a deep sounding voice. Gregory glared at the woman, unsure of what to make of her, while Sammy put his mask back on and covered his mouth to stay quiet. Bonnie looked suspicious of the security guard.
"If that didn't help jogging any memory, how 'bout this: "Sammy, can you hear me?" Freddy just said: "Vanessa, all the Fazwatches sound like me. It is the default voice option." Vanessa didn't look like she believed Freddy's claim.
"Okay, I'll choose to believe you for now. But if I found out you're part of this whole mess, you're scrap!" Vanessa said strongly and boldly, "Monty will run the shows until Parts and Service can slap your casing on a new endo. I'll let you out AFTER I found those kids." Vanessa said.
Freddy couldn't move, but he could shout: "Vanessa, do not leave me like this!" The three standing outside their conversation just sat there, but they all seemed to have had one thought in common: Vanessa was horrible to leave Freddy like that.
"Let's go save him—" Sammy said, before Gregory and Bonnie held their hands in front of him. "Let's wait until she leaves, rascal. Give it a few." Bonnie advised.
Gregory didn't know what it was about Vanessa that made her untrustworthy to him, but she had that feeling.
Vanessa walked back upstairs and went through Roxy's tunnel. "Now we're clear!" Gregory ran in once the door was shut behind Vanessa completely. "Freddy!" Gregory shouted, quietly. "Gregory! Sammy! I am so glad you are both here and alive!" Freddy had said, happy that they had not been found.
"Like I'd leave them to die, Freddy." Bonnie had said, folding his arms. "Ah, I am sorry, Bonnie." Freddy apologized to his best friend, "Freddy, what's they do to you?" Gregory asked, concerned. "Routine maintenance. I am functioning much more better…now…" Freddy realized he made a huge error in that sentence, "Huh…Grammar function error…Perhaps I am still not at peak performance. Could you…re-attach my head?" Freddy explained and asked."
"Well, it's no sweat, buddy! We'll have ya outta there, soon. Gregory, I'll head in to help Freddy, I need you boys out here." Bonnie said, while Gregory nodded, alongside Sammy. Bonnie looked at the computer for any upgrades or procedures that were needed to repair Freddy, he had found the only one had said "Power Upgrade." Bonnie pushed a key to begin the repair and an automated voice spoke over a speaker.
"Welcome to Parts and Service. Please select your desired procedure." The voice then advised that someone enter the protective cylinder. "I'm goin', I'm goin', sheesh, that guy could be real impatient." Bonnie tried to joke, Gregory and Sammy just sighed.
"Okay, now it's just a simple game of memory." Bonnie said, "Bonnie, be careful. I am not quite myself at the moment." Freddy warned his friend to be cautious.
"In case of an emergency, the protective cylinder will protect important service personnel outside of the protective cylinder. Deactivating safety protocols now. It is recommended that no mistakes are made." The automated voice spoke up, "What does any of that mean, Gregory?" Sammy asked, Gregory just looked mildly confused and annoyed. "In this case, they're going to have a few lawsuits in their future if anyone gets hurt trying to repair the bots." Gregory said, "What's a "law-suit"?" Sammy asked. "I'll tell you, later, I guess." Gregory said.
Bonnie reconnected the wires to Freddy's head, placing it back on the robo-bear's shoulders. "Good job. Now use the testing console to run diagnostics and complete the procedure." The machine showed a small console with the same colored buttons of the wires. "Almost done here, you guys." Bonnie said, waiting for the order of the buttons to push, with Freddy's head jolting in the direction of which button the robo-rabbit pushed. "Good job. Freddy is patched up and ready for the big show. You may now leave the protective cylinder." The automated voice said, "Okay, Gregory. Use the console to finish the procedure." Bonnie said.
Gregory nodded, looking at the console to finish the procedure and completed it. Freddy managed to get up and walk out of the protective cylinder. "I am happy to be back on my feet. Are you all okay?" Freddy had asked, what he didn't expect was for Gregory to immediately run up and hug him. "Don't you ever do that again!" Gregory said, starting to break down. Freddy looked saddened and knelt down to his superstar's level and hugged him. "I am sorry I worried you, Gregory." Freddy apologized, "I want a hug, too! Not fair!" Sammy said, hiding his tears behind the mask, hugging Freddy alongside Gregory.
Bonnie smiled slightly, Freddy was okay, thankfully. The robo-rabbit was worried that he was going to lose another one of his friends;his best friend, at that.
"I am not leaving you out of this, either, Bonnie." Freddy said, letting go of the boys and immediately hugging the robo-rabbit. "A classic brother-hug." Freddy had said, "Haha! I forgot that was your way of saying "bro-hug!"" Bonnie had said, happily.
Gregory smiled a little, "Okay, now we have a few hours left, we can hide at the daycare until 6AM, or something?" the boy suggested, "I believe that is our best course of action. So long as we can avoid any further trouble from Moon." Freddy had said, but they could not think of a good way for the boys to defend themselves, "We should find something for you two to be better able to protect yourselves with in case we have to split up again." Freddy didn't WANT to separate, but he knew their track record has not been good. "Good idea. Hmmm…I think a Faz Cam or a Fazerblaster might work." Bonnie suggested.
"A Fazer-what now?" Sammy asked, "It's a laser tag gun." Gregory said to him, Sammy nodding and making an "Oh" noise. "Good idea. How do we get those?"
Freddy explained that Fazerblasters could be won as prizes in Fazer Blast, while Faz Cams were confiscated in Monty's Gator Golf, and that they were going to need a Party Pass if they could find one.
"But, we can figure out what to do later. Let us head to the daycare. You boys need some rest. And I'm certain Sammy is falling asleep under the mask." Freddy said, seeing that the child was yawning. Gregory looked on, "O-Okay, sure. Maybe when the next hour hits, Moon will see we're asleep and he won't act like that crazy sleep-bounty hunter." He said, which made the robo-rabbit laugh. "Hahahaha! That's actually a good one, Gregory!" Bonnie had said to him. "Bonnie, it is really not that funny." Freddy had said, sighing a tad.
"H-Haha…uh, sorry about that." Bonnie pretended to be a bit out of breath from laughing on that last bit, not to say he was fake laughing, of course. "Okay, let us head through the service elevators. They should take us back to Rockstar Row. Though it seems like the only accessible option is Roxy's." Bonnie looked a little nervous about that realization.
"Papa…what's wrong?" Sammy asked, "N-Nothing, kiddo! But…I know it's gonna be REAL awkward for me if Roxy's there." Bonnie explained, ears perking up.
Gregory rolled his eyes, "You're gonna have to suck it up, then." he said, bluntly, before looking at some blueprints on display.
"Upgrades…Hey, Freddy, check out these pictures: Chica has some sort of special voice box, Roxy has new eyes, and Monty was given new better claws." Bonnie smirked, "Yeah, and I got an acoustic guitar for Christmas." The robo-rabbit joked, Gregory sighed, "N-Not the point. What if we got our hands on these? Maybe we could upgrade you or Bonnie?" The boy asked Freddy, with the two animatronics looking at each other in shock.
"Gregory, those parts belong to our friends. Neither of us would do anything to hurt them." Freddy had said, "What?! You're kidding, right? All they've been doing while we've been here is try to hurt me and Sammy! Come on, Bonnie, you have to agree with me on that, right?" Gregory looked at the Glamrock rabbit, who seemed unsure.
Bonnie placed a gentle hand on Sammy's shoulder, Bonnie had been thinking about this for a while. His friends would never have gone out of their way to hunt down and hurt the guests, let alone children. He loved his friends, but he knew Sammy's safety will come first. "I agree with you on that, Gregory. But there has to be something else going on here, that would make the others do this." Bonnie said, "Right. It would go against our programming to hurt a guest, superstar." Freddy had said. "Maybe they're uh…itching or something?" Sammy had asked.
Which the three of them turned to the masked child. "Kiddo, we're robots. We can't get rashes." Bonnie had said, unsure of what Sammy was talking about.
"Not like that, Papa. I'm talking about what happened when Moon took Uncle Freddy." Sammy explained, "His eye started glowing blue and red and it looked like he didn't know what he was doing. You said he was itching…or something." Sammy didn't know what word his dad had used. "Do you mean Moon was "glitching", Sammy?" Freddy asked. "Uh…Yeah! That's it! Glitching!" Sammy said, now remembering the word right.
"Well, I was suspecting that as a possibility…" Bonnie put his hand up to his chin, "…We can talk about it when we get to the Daycare." He said, "We must be cautious. Officer Vanessa could still be searching in Rockstar Row." Freddy warned. Gregory still looked annoyed and muttered: "They get what they deserve."
The four of them went into the elevator, and as it rose up, they found themselves in the back area of Roxy's green room. "Shh!" Gregory shushed, everyone, Sammy covering his mouth. They could hear…sobbing? It sounded like Roxanne's voice, so it had to have been her. "What do we do?" Sammy looked unsure. Freddy thought of an idea to escape, but he knew it would be reckless. "Bonnie, if she only sees us, we should be able to get the boys out." Freddy said to his friend. Bonnie looked hesitant, but couldn't think of another way out.
Gregory knew where this was going, and climbed into Freddy's stomach hatch. "Sammy, I need you to be brave and careful, okay?" Freddy had said, "Your father will open his chest cavity and you will need to climb inside and hide." Sammy looked confused, "Why's that something to worry about? Gregory's been doing that this whole time." Freddy looked a little worried and placed a hand on his stomach. "Promise you will be careful, rascal. Please?" Bonnie opened his stomach hatch, pleading that his son would be careful. "O-Okay, Papa." Sammy didn't understand what could be so scary, but he climbed into Bonnie's chest cavity and Bonnie closed the hatch. "I'll move slowly, okay?" Bonnie said, still worried about this plan. "Okay." Sammy said, trying not to worry about Roxy seeing him and Gregory. Bonnie opened the door into the room next, Roxy jumped up when she heard it open, "Who's there?" She asked, "Just me, Rox." Bonnie said, trying to stay cheerful.
"Oh, it's…it's just you, Bon." Roxy said, folding her arms. "What's the matter? Why were you crying?" The robo-rabbit asked the robo-wolf. "It's nothing. I had those little runts and when I failed to get them. I'm supposed to be the best…I should've been able to get them!" Roxy's sadness turned to anger. Bonnie looked a little sad, he didn't know how to comfort Roxy when she's trying to hurt his son and Gregory. "No…No sweat! I'm sure once this whole mess is sorted, you'll still be the best!" Bonnie tried to encourage, while not supporting this whole ordeal. "Ah…thanks, Bon." Roxy said, "You know…I've missed when we used to talk like this." Roxy smiled for a moment, staring at Bonnie once again. She then changed her mood for anger, "Don't…Don't think I'm not mad about the fact that you left me!" Roxy said. Freddy laughed a bit, before the robo-wolf look shocked. "Freddy, what are YOU doing in my room?!" Roxy asked. "I apologize. I had finished some repairs and your service elevator was the only one—"
"It was rhetorical, genius! Get out! Bonnie, kick him out!" Roxy said. "Uh…you got it, hun!" Bonnie said, pushing Freddy out. "Uh…Freddy will just show me what's new! Love you!" Bonnie had said to his girlfriend and trying to maintain cover in the best way possible. Roxy wanted to blush a little, before looking at herself in the mirror. "What's…"Roxy said, while her eyes had turned purple. "You're the best…You WILL find them first." She said to herself.
(Outside the room)
Bonnie and Freddy had managed to make it past Roxy, but another challenge arose. Officer Vanessa was doing her rounds. She shone her flashlight. "Look, kids, I'm trying to help you! I promise." She shouted throughout the hall, sighing, Freddy was waiting for a clear way, they could walk out of the area and head to the Daycare. Vanessa sighed and walked further ahead, the two animatronics walked to make their way towards the exit. Freddy and Bonnie looked on and saw that Vanessa looked like she was in pain for a moment. "I'm looking…I-I can handle it…" she told…herself. "Look, if Freddy was working, we'd have him by now! Both of them!" She shouted, placing a hand on the side of her head. Freddy didn't know what to make of this, but Vanessa looked like she was in an argument with someone. It didn't seem like self talk. Bonnie looked suspicious, but then it clicked. "Pink nails…" the robo-rabbit thought to himself. Bonnie and Freddy kept going. Bonnie tapped Freddy's shoulder, and signaled that they needed to leave. Either way, they knew one thing. Something was wrong with Officer Vanessa.
(Oh my gosh, I did NOT mean to make it this long! But I hope the read was good. Anyways, the next part will be about what they're going to do after a nap and stuff. Anyways, I want to ask what u guys would want me to write for the next few parts? I have a few ideas, like should they both go for one item or should they split up and they grab both? I personally don't want to destroy any of the Glamrocks, but I know that's literally a thing that happens. Anyways, lemme know when ya can. Stay strong and awesome!)
