(I first wanted to thank God and especially zachary2904 & Insanebrother or helping me find my way into making this fanfic again. I know I probably haven't said it enough, but I really respect any help or inspiration for any writing elements. And I really hope I'm doing a good job with this semi-fanfic/rewrite deal. Anyways, we're having a bit of a cooldown chapter while still learning about important stuff. I'll explain it later, enjoy the chapter! The first paragraph is a bit of fluff, tho)

Sunny was picking up a few blocks, cleaning up the daycare a bit. This was meant to keep him stimulated, since he could remember each moment the lights went out. Each a time where his brother could show himself and try to punish Gregory and Sammy if they hadn't gotten out yet. The robo-jester had been feeling afraid of if those boys were hurt, praying that they would be okay.

"It'll be okay. Freddy and Bonnie are keeping them safe…and…weird, Asher told me something once and it's been sticking with me…" Sunny put his hand up to his chin.

Then, the animatronic heard a knock at the door, "Ooh! More company! I really hope my bestest buddy is feeling like his old self again!" Sunny hoped that Monty was feeling better, almost like a child who had a cold. The robo-jester looked to see Freddy and Bonnie here at the Daycare entrance.

"Freddy! Bonnie! I didn't expect to see you guys back here so soon! Weird, I don't see Gregory or Sammy, does that mean their moms and dads picked them up?" Sunny asked, looking for those.

"Unfortunately, not yet, Sunny. But the boys are fine, they are here with us." Freddy opened his stomach hatch and Gregory crawled out, Bonnie doing the same. This freaked Sunny out a little, "Starlights, what on earth are you two doing in there?! Are you two okay?" Bonnie immediately checked for injuries on his son, "Okay, I think we're okay, rascal." Bonnie said, patting his son on the head. "Good…" Sammy yawned, under his mask.

"Sunny, we're fine. Listen, we wanted to know if we can lay low here for a little. Sammy needs sleep, and we gotta decide our next move." Gregory explained, "You mean we will decide our next moves, while you and Sammy will get some rest, superstar." Freddy had said, putting a hand on Gregory's shoulder.

"No, we need to figure things out, right? I'm 12, I don't need to sleep as much as Sammy does." Gregory said, defiantly.

Sunny audibly gasped, "Starlight, don't be ridiculous! Everyone needs sleep, even grown ups! Okiedoke then, come on in! I'll grab the blankets!" Sunny said, Sammy looked on excitedly, "Sunny, do you know what this means? We can have our slumber party!" Sammy said, realizing this could have fun at a slumber party. Sunny was beaming with excitement over the idea, but he wasn't sure it was a good idea.

"Mmm…I'm not sure, Sammy. We need to get you to sleep. How about…we play one game before nap-time?" Sunny asked, Sammy thought about it, taking off the mask. "Okay, sure! What game?"

Bonnie folded his arms, "Not so fast! I should get a say in this." He said, Sammy looked like he was about to whine, "Please, Papa? One game?" Bonnie sighed, "You know we're not exactly supposed to have fun right now, kiddo." Bonnie thought about it, maybe Sammy could use a little retreat from all the chaos. The robo-rabbit sighed, "Okay, but make sure the game's quiet and short." Bonnie said.

Sammy giggled, and Sunny looked happy. "Okay, Papa!" Gregory rolled his eyes, "Do you want to join them, Gregory? I am sure it should take your mind off a bit." Freddy suggested, "No thanks, I'm gonna recharge the flashlight real quick." Gregory said, trying to stay on a bit of priority. "Okay, then, superstar." Bonnie walked ahead to help out with getting the blankets and pillows.

(Later)

Sammy and Sunny stacked up the pillow fort they were making. This was their game, a pillow fort...with knights. Bonnie wanted to check for any notifications he may not have had before, while Gregory finishes charging the flashlights. Leaving Freddy to play with the robo-jester and Sammy.

"All right, Sir Sammy. I will go back to get more pillows. I ask that you stay here and guard the fort." Sunny said.

"Yes sir!" Sammy said, the two saluted each other, Sammy grabbed a pillow and used it as a shield, while the robo-jester went to go grab a few more pillows.

Freddy walked up to the pillow fort, "Uhh….Stop! No…what's the word…?" Sammy asked, "It's "halt", starlight." Sunny said, bringing back the pillows. Sammy nodded, putting his pillow shield up.

"Halt! What are you doing at our pillow fort?" Sammy asked. Freddy smiled, "Pardon me for the intrusion, sir knight. But I have asked to see Sir Sunny." Freddy had said, his lack of word contraction somehow seemed perfect for this game.

"Sorry, mister, he's out right now. You'll have to wait outside the fort." Sammy had said, "Understood. May I have your name, sir knight?" Freddy had asked. Sammy smiled, "Sir Sammy!" The boy said quietly. Bonnie smiled at how much fun Freddy and Sammy seemed to have.

"I see. What a brave sounding name for you, Sir Sammy." Freddy had said, "Thank you, Mr…uh…Uncle Freddy, you gotta make a name to play." Sammy whispered, Freddy chuckled a bit, "Where are my manners? I am Freddy Fazbear the 8th." Bonnie looked confused by that name suggestion, but didn't think too hard about it, Gregory was too weirded out by what was going on. "So, what's the point of them playing knights like this? They aren't gonna go fight and dragon or the usual stuff?" Gregory asked the robo-rabbit.

"I guess it doesn't really matter. He's having fun playing the game with his uncle, and as long as we're not too noisy, we're good." Bonnie said, Gregory sighed, "Wanna join in, Gregory?" Bonnie asked, deciding he was going to play, too. "Uh, I guess." Gregory had said, seeing as everyone else was going along with the game.

"Ah, Sir Fazbear VIII! I've been expecting you!" Sunny said, keeping his character, "Likewise. I have come to bring you the blankets you requested, Sir Sunny." Freddy had said, holding out one of the folded blankets.

"Ah, right on time. See, Sir Sammy? This will be to help our humble village be able to sleep warmly and good for nights to come." Sunny had said, "Ooh! That sounds really nice. Are the blankets super soft?" Sammy said.

"We'll find out on the morrow, haha! Thank you, Sir Fazbear." Sunny had said, "It was certainly my pleasure to assist your village, Sir Sunny. Sir Sammy."Freddy said, nodding his head. Bonnie laughed, glad those three were having fun. "I hope I haven't come at an inconvenient moment's notice for this, Sir Sunny." Bonnie spoke a bit differently to match the medieval time.

"Uh…Sir Bonnie! What brings you to our village?" Sunny asked, Bonnie had a few stuffed animals in his hands, "I've come to bring a few toys to the village, for you see, my own lands have been overstocked. I figured since we're united allies, I'd bring some to you." Bonnie explained, "Ah yes, since you're here, Sir Fazbear, I thought I'd bring your young squire to you."

Gregory looked confused, "What? Me?" Gregory said, before awkwardly being put on the spot by everyone now staring at him. "Uh…y-yeah. It's great to see you again, uh…Sir Fazbear." Gregory said, Sunny and Sammy looked excited. Freddy chuckled, "It is great to see you have returned, my young squire." Freddy placed a hand on Gregory's shoulder, Gregory sorta smiled at that.

"Isn't this fun, starlight?" Sunny asked. Sammy nodded, smiling, "I really liked building the fort, Sunny! And being a knight was really fun." Sunny looked exhilarated, "I'm really glad you had lots of fun, starlight! We should play knights again, sometimes! We'd have tons and tons and tons of adventures to play!" Sunny said, "Yeah! …huuuh…I'd like to find my legendary instrument…and rewind time…" Sammy said, looking a little drowsy. "Aww, looks like you're tired, already, Sammy?" Sunny asked, sorta sad they can't play more.

"We know what that means. Come on, Sammy, it is nap time." Freddy said, "Okaaayyy…" Sammy didn't want to sleep just yet. "Well then, Gregory. Why don't you rest, as well?" Freddy asked, "Uh…Ok, D—F-Freddy!" Gregory said. "Okies, I'm getting the blankets!" Sunny said, spinning while he gets the blankets and pillows.

Bonnie picked up a stuffed toy of a wolf to give to Sammy. The boys set up their beds for the time being, "Do you want a stuffed animal to sleep with, superstar?" Freddy had asked Gregory. "I'm okay…" Gregory yawned, after taking a deep breath. "What should we call this one?" They heard Sammy ask.

Bonnie smiled, "Get some sleep, rascal, okay? We're going to get out of here soon." Bonnie said, patting Sammy's head, "Okay, hug before bed?" Sammy asked, "Sure." Bonnie hugged his son, "Love you, Papa." Sammy said, closing his eyes. "I love you too, son." Bonnie had said.

Gregory looked a little upset, "Is everything alright, Gregory?" Freddy asked, "I-I'm fine. Good night, Da—Freddy!" Gregory said, trying to shut his eyes. Freddy was wondering what Gregory almost said there, "Good night, superstar. We will get you out of here soon, I promise you." Freddy assured them.

(A few minutes later)

Freddy, Bonnie and Sunny kept watch outside the daycare, They had planned to discuss the next move. "I believe we should split up for the next hour to grab the Faz Cam and Fazerblaster." Freddy said, ears perking up mechanically. "They are less likely to suspect either of us of keeping the boys safe from them, plus, it will be less of a trivial thing." Bonnie had nodded his head, "Not to mention, we're less easier to find as a huge group." Bonnie said, before thinking back to when they had ideas about their friends. "Freddy, we should figure out a way to incapacitate our friends if need be." Bonnie suggested, Freddy and Sunny looked at him in shock.

"Bonnie, what on earth are you thinking? They are our friends, we spoke about this!" Freddy said, but trying not to wake up the boys. "I know we did, but I have to think of protecting the boys before our friends, they've been attacking those two this whole time, Freddy." Bonnie said, Sunny looked shocked, "W-What…?! It hasn't been just Moon?" Sunny said, "I-I knew Monty was acting weird, but…has he gone bonkers?! What happened to him?!" Sunny said.

"Bonnie, I…I cannot hurt our friends. But…I do agree that Gregory and Sammy's safety must come first." Freddy said, looking at their children, now sleeping soundly.

"I'm not saying I want to do it, Freddy. I'm saying that if that's our last option, then that's it." Bonnie said, ears mechanically drooping. "Although, I'm not upgrading my parts with theirs." Freddy looked unsure, but agreed that if that's what they need to do, they would to keep the boys safe.

"Wait, I know they're hurting the boys, but I don't think any of them are in control!" Sunny said, grabbing his head, stressing out. Freddy looked confused, "What do you mean, Sunny?" The robo-bear asked. "Listen, when you guys left, Monty asked if the boys were here, when he was asking me, his eyes turned purple. Like, they lit up purple." Sunny said, which made sense to Bonnie, while it did not make sense to Freddy.

"That is odd. Could it be more than a glitch?"Freddy asked, "I saw that with Roxy and Chica, too. It happened when the boys were brought up." Bonnie had a single strand of hope that this whole ordeal wasn't what he thought it was, but the parallels keep making themselves known. "I'm worried that this is the work of…that man from a long time ago." Bonnie had said, Freddy's eyes widened, "You do not mean…"

"I'm not saying it IS him, but everything keeps looking like what that man did to those children years ago. It also doesn't help that the boys keep seeing someone in a rabbit costume." Freddy was startled at this idea, "We need to get them out of here. As quickly as we possibly can." Freddy said, now sure that they needed to keep the boys safe. Sunny didn't know what either of them were talking about, "Why don't we talk to that new security guard? Miss Vanessa?" Sunny asked. Bonnie shot up, "No way!" He nearly shouted at the robo-jester and startled him.

"Bonnie, was that reaction really necessary?" Freddy asked, Bonnie looked a little embarrassed. "Whoops. Sorry 'bout that." Bonnie kept his carefree demeanor for a moment, but went back to being serious. "Freddy, listen…we can't trust her. Gregory said someone with pink nails tried to grab him when you crashed on stage and when I saw Vanessa…talking to herself…I saw that her nails were pink." That news shocked Freddy to his core, "What?! Why would she do that…?" Bonnie shrugged.

"I'm not sure. But if she's the reason Gregory has been trapped here tonight, we can't trust her." Bonnie folded his arms. None of this sat right with him, and once again Freddy would realize that Bonnie was completely different. "You really have changed, Bonnie." Freddy said, which made the robo-rabbit looked up at his best friend.

"Oh? So you just noticed I'm not wearing my coat anymore?" Bonnie said, deciding to try and joke for a moment. "No, I mean…being a father has certainly changed you." Freddy had said, Sunny looked confused, "Wait, is that why Sammy keeps calling you "Papa"?" Sunny asked, "How did that happen?"Bonnie just chuckled a bit, "Weird story. I'll explain that story another time, I guess."

(Meanwhile)

Vanessa was looking around, searching around outside Fazerblast. She came across Chica, "Chica. Report." Vanessa had said, "Officer Vanessa." Chica eyes had lit up purple and her body started twitching, "I have not found signs of those two boys. Let alone Gregory." Chica had said, Vanessa was getting frustrated and stressed. "Fine. Keep searching. I'll go check with the others, then." Vanessa said, walking off and letting Chica search around Fazerblast. Vanessa could feel her head hurt, she put her hand on her head, before screaming in a bit of pain.

"No! Please! I can find them…I-It won't be like the last one, I promise!" Vanessa said, "I-I can find them…please?!" Vanessa cried out in pain, feeling something completely overtake her mind to the point that she passed out for a moment.

It was when she arose that was the true cause for alarm. "No. Since you've proven your worth, it's up to ME to deal with this." Vanessa voice said, but the demeanor had completely changed. It was NOT her.

(Okay, so here's the end! I hope u guys like this! Anyways, they figured out what was going here, kinda. I know this was mostly filler, but we will get to the split next and plan will be explained next chapter. Can we talk about how we never actually realized that they were under a virus's control except through the cds? We never even dealt with it, either. Even after we "defeat" Mimic in Ruin, later on. Anyways, stay strong and awesome!)
