(Okay, the continuation! It's been a while, and we're mostly back to fluff! I mean, who doesn't like fluff? This is originally where I left off in this story when I was writing it before. Originally, I was gonna have Monty join them, then he'd bring Gregory back to the Pizzaplex and they'd have to watch out for bad Freddy. Anyways, now let's see how this chapter goes! Enjoy!
Quick note, I DO NOT own any of these characters. They still belong to Steel Wool, Scott Cawthon and Skull Kid belongs to Nintendo. Enjoy!)
Chapter 16:
Sammy woke up in his bedroom, hearing a super loud voice pretending to play a trumpet. "BABUM-BADA-BAH-BADUM-BADA-BAH-BADUM-BADA-BAH! BAH-BAH-BAH!" He could hear Gregory groaning annoyed in his room, "What's…Oh come on, Sunny…" Gregory said, tiredly annoyed. "Sunny? Sunny's here?!" Sammy asked, sorta excited. "Sunny, come on! That's too loud, you'll wake up the boys." Bonnie had said from the next doors over. "Aww, but Bonnie, it's morning! I'm just trying to wake up them up." Sunny said, Sammy walked out and saw his papa and Sunny arguing.
"Sunny!" Sammy ran up to him, hugging the robo-jester! "Haha! I'm so happy to see you, starlight!" Sunny was happy, no known undertone of anxiety currently, "How are you here? Did Uncle Asher say you could come over, too?" The robo-jester chuckled, "I sure hope so! But I have good news, me and my brothers are reset, we can play without worry, now!" Sunny said, though he was expecting the occasional worry.
Bonnie and Gregory noticed the two were bouncing around. "How're ya doing, kiddo?" Bonnie knelt down and patted his son's shoulder.
"I'm okay, Papa." Sammy said, Bonnie patted his son's shoulder once again, "Okay then. Gregory, what about you?" Bonnie asked the older boy, "About as fine as I could be, I guess." Gregory said, rubbing his eyes. Bonnie nodded, looking a little sad. "Come on, you boys get freshened up and I'll make pancakes." Bonnie suggested,"Sam, get Gregory a spare toothbrush."
Sammy nodded and showed Gregory where the bathroom is. "What toothbrush do you want? We got red, blue, orange…" Gregory looked at them, "Pass me the blue one." Gregory said, holding his hand out, Sammy then placed the toothbrush in his hands.
Bonnie was hoping the boys would be okay, he poured the pancake mix into a bowl to stir it. The robo-rabbit then grabbed a whisk, "So, you're making pancakes? Can I help you out?" Sunny asked, kinda excited that Bonnie knows how to bake.
"I guess you could. You can be on spatula duty, then. I'll tell you when to flip them over." Bonnie said to the robo-jester. "I get to flip with the spatula!? AWESOME!!" Sunny sounded really excited and happy to flip the pancakes. "All right, here we go. Now, to add the bacon and grab the syrup." Bonnie said, gathering the next thing they were making.
(Later)
"Aaaand "BON" appétit!" Bonnie said, making a pun with his nickname, now pretending to sound French. "Now, as you can see, mon fils et mon amis, freshly made blueberries pancakes, with a hint of Sunny's craftsmanship!" Bonnie said, the two animatronics putting up their hands dramatically.
Sammy giggled a little, while Gregory rolled his eyes. "I hope you like it, starlights! I hope I didn't do bad for my first time!" Sunny said, slightly anxious. "I'll like it for you, Sunny!" Sammy said to the robo-jester. "Not bad pancakes, guys…" Gregory said, chewing a few. "Bien sûr, I am a natural at baking." Bonnie explained, "Oh. Bless you…" Sunny said, believing the robo-rabbit sneezed when he spoke in a bit of French. Gregory simply cringed in embarrassment. Sammy giggled, slightly.
"Feeling a bit better, you two?" Bonnie asked, ears rising mechanically. Sammy looked to his side, "M-Mmhm." The boy had nodded his head. "I already told you, I'm fine. When's Cassie's dad coming back?" Gregory asked. "It'll be a while. He has to make sure work will go well and Cassie's alright." Bonnie said, "For now, let's just wait and we'll figure out what to do when he comes back." Gregory seemed annoyed and worried, with Bonnie believing it may be about Freddy or maybe even friends.
"How 'bout we watch tv or play games? I bet Sammy showing his toys and games will probably take your mind off of things?" Bonnie suggested. Sammy perked up when he heard the idea. "Oh yeah, come on, Gregory. I gotta show you my stuff!" Sammy said, grabbing Gregory's hand and led him to his room. "Sunny, come on!" Sunny perked up, "I'm-a coming, Sammy!" Sammy said, "So exciting!" Bonnie smiled for a moment, but then tried to think about how well the boys are handling the trauma from last night.
"I just hope Sammy isn't trying to push himself too hard to feel better." Bonnie thought that'd mostly be impossible because of how young his son is, but he was unsure. "It's gonna be okay, Bon. Remember they're gonna be okay…" Bonnie told himself.
(More later)
Gregory and Sunny got a good look at Sammy's green painted walls, a few games and toys on the ground, it looked like masks were up on the wall. "Boo!" Sammy said, pulling out a fox-like mask. "W-WAAAH!" Sunny shouted, immensely startled. "Sammy, really with more masks?" Gregory asked. "Heeheehee, sorry!" Sammy said. "So many toys and games! Ooh, even some video games!" Sunny said.
"And I got this! It's my ocarina." Sammy held up his favorite instrument. "Oh wow, I've never seen ocarinas before!" Sunny said, in awe. Gregory could tell by looking at this room, his friend was a huge Legend of Zelda fan. Sunny looked on, "Oh, a toy sword and shield…You really like playing knights, don't you, Sammy?" He asked. "Uh-huh! Maybe we can play Tears of The Kingdom later." Sammy said, "I can play a song, too! Check this out!" Sammy remember which notes to play on the ocarina.
The notes crossed between off key and good notes, but Sunny didn't seem to mind, and Gregory was impressed that Sammy had memorized one of the songs. "Not bad, Sammy." Gregory said, "Impressive, starlight! A stellar performance, brrrr-ravissimo!" Sunny said, clapping his hands with the noise of metal clanging.
"Thanks, I've been playing this for a while and Papa helps me know which notes to play." Sammy explained. "I got other things, too! We could play knights again, or maybe we can play Smash Bros! I got another song, I've been trying to work on, hold on—" Gregory was watching as his friend droned on, almost like his fears vanished.
Sunny could see what Sammy was doing. "Why don't we play music then, starlight?" Sunny asked. "Okay! Yeah, I'll get my stuff! Papa has a guitar we can play."
(Meanwhile)
Asher grabbed a staff of security bots and they escorted Monty to Parts and Service. This was what Sammy must've been trying to tell him last night about Monty. "How does the damage look?" Vanessa asked, who had been here the night before, "It may be cheaper to rebuild the shell, but the AI should still be in great condition." Asher explained, "I'll begin rebuilding the body with replacement endoskeleton parts."
Vanessa sighed in great annoyance, "As if I didn't have enough problems to deal with." She said, "I'm sure I've told you, but two boys broke in here last night. I alerted the others to help look for them…One of them must've been here if THIS happened to Monty." Asher looked on, deciding to keep up appearances.
"Still, how'd they even manage to get access through the staff areas? I highly doubt they'd have anything that would grant them authority." He said, pretending to be curious. "I'm not sure, but my best bet was Freddy could've helped them out. It's a bit of a long story." Asher walked off to Parts and Services, and Vanessa followed behind.
"And we're sure Monty's the only one who got thrashed?" Asher asked. "I mean, I haven't seen the Daycare Attendant, but I'm pretty sure everyone is still in tact." Asher knew that was a huge lie, "All right, I'll be rebuilding Monty's endo if you need me, then." Asher said, Vanessa then said she would try to clean up a few things back in Fazer Blast. He pulled out his phone and called Cassie, "Come on, pick up, pick up…"
"Hello?" Cassie had said over the line, "Hi, honey. Listen, I'll be home soon, I'm sorry I had to leave for work early this morning." Asher apologized. "That's okay, Dad."
"Did you make it home safely?" Asher asked, "Yeah, I'm good. I'm just working on homework." Asher nodded, getting his tools and placing them on a desk. "Good. I'll see you at home, soon, Cass. We'll go to see Bonnie and Sam, soon, too." Cassie sounded excited over the phone when he said that. "Anyways, you work on your homework, remember the emergency cash if you need anything, and I love you. Okay?" Asher asked, keeping track of everything. "Love you, Cassie. See you later."
"Love you, too, Dad. See you." Asher hung up the call and got to work on repairing Monty's endo. The technician thankfully found a way to safely approach animatronics in the protective cylinder. Asher removed a chip from the back of Monty's endoskeleton head. "Hold on there, Mont. I'll reinstall your AI soon." Asher told him, grabbing some welding tools and pieces of an endoskeleton.
(Back with the others)
Sunny could tell by the sunset that Moon would wanna wake up soon, and while he was still anxious about Moon, he prayed that his behavior from the night before would be a good step in the right direction. But he didn't care, he was intrigued by the video game that Sammy and Gregory were playing.
What he wasn't expecting was something that Sammy would say. "@ !" Sammy had gotten angry when he lost the game, "Hey! Sammy, we do NOT talk like that!" Sunny said, sternly. "He's right, kiddo! Where'd you hear that word?" Bonnie asked, "I heard someone say it at the Pizzaplex when they got angry." Sammy explained, "Okay, but that doesn't mean you can just say it." Bonnie explained, "Remember what I told you about the bad words that people shouldn't say?" Sammy looked shocked, and felt ashamed.
"I'm sorry, Papa." Sammy said. "Please make sure to ask if that's a word you can or can't say, starlight. No one likes bad words." Sammy just nodded. "Okay, well…Come on, Sunny, let's watch a movie." Sunny looked to his side, he really wanted to see. "I'd love to, Sammy, but I have got to take my nap. M-M-Moon will come out, so be careful." Gregory looked at his friend, who had a worrying look on his face. "Wh-What?" Sammy asked, "No! Sunny, please stay! I don't wanna see Moon!" Sammy was pleading.
Bonnie placed a hand on his son's shoulder. "It's gonna be okay, kiddo. Moon was awake last night, and he didn't seem to want to hurt us." Bonnie explained, "Cuz we were sleeping." Sammy said, "No no, because your uncle reset their systems. Moon's not gonna hurt us because he's free from what was controlling him." Gregory explained.
"It'll be okay, starlight. But…But Bonnie, keep them safe from him if he tries to hurt them, please?" Sunny asked. The robo-rabbit nodded his head, and Sunny had transformed the body into Moon's.
The bot wanted to yawn, "I've missed my peaceful dreams." Sammy looked into Moon's blue eye and saw it. "O-Oh. Hello, little supernova." Moon had said to him, "Has a day gone by already?" The night version of the robo-jester had asked, "Yeah, pretty much. How was your nap, Sleeping Beauty?" Bonnie asked, Moon rolled his eyes. "It was fine, Bonnie. What have you been up to while I was asleep?" Moon asked.
He noticed Sammy was hiding behind Bonnie and Gregory, "I've gotta fix this…" Moon thought to himself. Moon made sure not to come off as rude or intimidating, and spoke gently. "Sammy, I know we hadn't met on good terms, but I wanted to apologize." Moon said. "No sorries, you wanted to hurt me and Gregory." Sammy said, angry.
"Sammy!" Bonnie said, "Papa, he tried to hurt me and Gregory! He makes Sunny scared, he's a bad person!" Gregory understood why the kid felt that way. "Sammy, Moon wants to apologize. If he were really so horrible, he wouldn't have tried to say sorries." Bonnie explained.
Moon pouted, walking and sitting further away. Sammy looked unsure, and huddled close to Bonnie. "But…fine…I forgive you, then, Mr. Moon." Sammy said, Moon looked up, if he could move his mouth, he could smile better.
"Thank you, supernova. It means a lot to me that you forgive me." Moon said, more chipper sounding. Bonnie admittedly didn't know what to do, so he decided to offer a suggestion. "All right, why don't we watch a movie?" Gregory and Sammy nodded in agreement to that idea, "I-I'll make snacks. Come on, Gregory!" Sammy said, getting up and deciding to bring Gregory to get the snacks from the pantry.
Bonnie had hoped they were starting to feel better since the night before. The robo-rabbit had prayed that their coping with trauma would go smoothly.
(Okay, here we are. I have to end it here, but don't worry, I don't intend to just say they got away and be done with it. We'll get further and further into all the stuff we got in the game. I'd also like to talk about something during the interview with Dawko: How often do developers and people who write stories simply leave pieces lying around for the group to figure out what to do with? I never understood why Scott Cawthon did it that way, but I'm sure he's not the first person to do it, so it must be a tactic people use like that, right? Anyways, stay strong and awesome!)
Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV:
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
(Understandably, I often will get confused with this one. I know you should fear God, but in what way, because BEING AFRAID of Him isn't apparently how we're supposed to fear Him. I think it may be that we should care more about what He wants. Take advice with grain of salt, but I know people often say there's a distinct way to fear The Lord.)
