Back with a new chapter! Sorry this took a little longer than planned, I had a few hectic and emotional weeks. Anyway, here's the update! I hope you enjoy it.

Finally, it was the day of the gala. Trevor had spent most of the last two weeks writing his speech until Olivia took things into her own hands and took the notebook away from him, straddled him, and fucked him senseless. That seemed to help him finish the speech.

Olivia was standing in the bathroom, she had just showered and was looking in the mirror as she blow-dried her hair, looking at herself in a dark blue bra and thong. She heard Trevor come in and she smiled. "Hey handsome," she said, still looking in the mirror.

Trevor walked up behind her. "Hey, beautiful." He kissed her neck softly. "You look so sexy right now."

Olivia smirked. "You're lucky you didn't come in five minutes ago, I looked like a drowned rat."

Trevor smiled. "I'm sure you were the most beautiful drowned rat there is."

Olivia playfully rolled her eyes. "Uh-huh." She put down the hair dryer and looked at Trevor. "One kiss and then I need to do my makeup," she said, wrapping her arms around his waist.

Trevor smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear and lifted her chin a little. "You don't need makeup."

Olivia smiled. "Flattery will get you everywhere, Counselor," she whispered and their lips met in a slow, passionate kiss, their tongues meeting, swiping against each other. The kiss went on for a couple of moments before Olivia broke it. She smiled and opened her eyes, finding Trevor's. "Go get ready. I need to do my makeup." She let him go. "I won't do too much makeup, just enough to hide the imperfections in my skin, some mascara and a lip. That's it I promise."

Trevor held her hips. "Hey, wear as much as you want, but you're beautiful without it. You don't have to promise me you won't wear a lot," he whispered.

Olivia smiled. "God I love you," she whispered and nuzzled his neck. "How are you so perfect," she asked, pulling back and looking into his eyes.

Trevor wrapped her in his arms. "I'm far from it baby, but you on the other hand…"

Olivia blushed. "Hardly." She cradled his face in her hands and kissed him, she stopped after a few minutes and looked at him. "We need to get ready, or we're never going to get there and you're the keynote tonight."

Trevor smirked. "Okay, okay. I'll let you get ready."

Olivia smiled. "Thank you, my love."

Trevor kissed her temple and walked out of the bathroom, leaving Olivia to finish getting ready. Trevor dressed in a dark blue suit with a dark purple tie and a white pocket square. When Olivia walked into the bedroom, her hair and makeup done, barefoot in a bra and thong his mouth went dry.

Olivia looked at him and smiled. "Close your mouth you're going to catch flies," she winked and took her dress off the hanger. And laid it on the bed. She slipped into a pair of heels and looked at Trevor. "A preview for later tonight," she whispered and put her dress on over her head, careful not to get makeup on it. She looked at Trevor and smiled. "Zip me up?"

Trevor walked over to her and slowly pulled the zipper up her back. Once the zipper was up he leaned in and kissed her neck. "So beautiful," he whispered.

Olivia blushed and tilted her head to the side. "We should get going, say goodbye to Noah, and we'll see him tomorrow."

Trevor smiled. "As you wish, love."

Olivia led them out, grabbing her purse and putting her phone lipstick, and gloss inside. She saw Noah. "Okay sweet boy, Trevor and I are going to go now, we'll be back after you're asleep so we'll see you in the morning, okay?"

Noah nodded. "Okay." He hugged Olivia and then Trevor when he walked over. "Have fun tonight."

Olivia smiled and kissed the top of Noah's head. "Bye, sweet boy." She slipped into her faux fur coat and looked at Trevor. "Ready?"

Trevor looked at her and smiled. He nodded and walked over to her, his speech in his pocket. "Let's go." He rested his hand on the small of her back and after confirming with Martha that they'd be back a little late they left. Trevor got the elevator for them and she smiled when they were in the elevator. "You look stunning."

Olivia smiled and blushed. "Thank you." They walked out got a taxi to the venue and walked inside. Olivia was awestruck. "This is gorgeous."

Trevor. "And somehow they chose me to speak." He said, nervous about his speech, handing her a glass of wine.

Olivia smiled and looked up at him. "They're lucky to have you."

Just then Bob Flynn walked up and greeted Trevor. "If you want to thank me, let me steal your date."

Olivia tensed and took a step closer to Trevor who spoke up. "She's out of your league Bob."

Bob looked at Olivia, leering. "Bob Flynn."

Olivia stiffened. "Olivia Benson, SVU."

Bob raised an eyebrow. "NYPD, sweetheart?"

Olivia turned her head and leaned in slightly. "Sweetheart, oh you're one of those guys."

Bob smiled. "You listen to my radio show?"

Olivia shook her head. "Not on purpose."

Trevor stepped in. "Okay, Bob, that's enough. Move on."

Bob put his hands up and walked away. Olivia turned to Trevor and smiled. "Thank you," she whispered and took his hand.

Trevor smiled. "No need to thank me," he whispered and caressed her face. "I'd do anything for you."

Olivia looked up into his eyes and smiled. "I love you," she whispered.

Trevor smiled and leaned in to kiss her softly, quickly. "I love you too."

Olivia wrapped her arms around his low back, looking around. "Such a lovely venue. And such a handsome keynote," she said gently.

Trevor smiled. "High praise coming from the most beautiful woman in the room."

The gala started and soon Bob called Trevor up to give his speech. Olivia smiled and kissed him quickly. "You're going to be great, I love you, go."

Trevor smiled and walked up to the podium and gave his speech. Once he was finished the whole room clapped as he walked back toward Olivia. "How'd I do?"

Olivia smiled at him. "Wonderfully. You're a brilliant orator."

Trevor stood behind her and held her hips. "Thank you," he whispered in her ear, gently nipping at her ear lobe.

Olivia giggled and rested against him. "Careful counselor, or I'll have to take you into the bathroom and fuck your brains out. And that may be frowned upon."

Trevor chuckled. "I wouldn't mind," he whispered.

Olivia turned her head. "When we get home. Promise. For now…" Olivia turned to face him and rested her arms on his shoulders. "Dance with me," she whispered, gently starting to sway to the music that had started to play.

Trevor smiled. "I can do that."

Olivia bit her bottom lip and looked into his eyes. "Mm, this is nice," she said, feeling his big hand on the small of her back, the other resting on her hip.

Trevor smiled and swayed with her, moving his head to the crook of her neck, smelling her perfume and what can only be described as Olivia. He swayed with her, holding her close, and turned his head and placed a chaste kiss on her neck. "I love you," he whispered.

Olivia smiled, rested her hand on his head, and closed her eyes. "Mm, I love you too," she whispered and stopped swaying. When his head perked up she smiled. "Trev," she whispered and ran her hands over his chest. "I don't just love you. I'm in love with you."

Trevor smiled. "You have no idea how much I love hearing those words fall from your beautiful lips," he whispered. "Because I'm in love with you too."

Olivia let out a breath and kissed him passionately, needing to be as close as possible to him at that moment. She broke the kiss. "We're definitely having fun tonight," she whispered to him and winked.

Trevor held her close. "That sounds like the perfect end to such a good night." He looked into her eyes. "Come with me and we'll get a couple more drinks to close out the night. Don't want to be too drunk," he whispered in her ear.

Olivia giggled and they walked over to the bar. Olivia ordered a Cabernet and Trevor ordered a Pinot Grigio and a glass of water. Olivia raised her glass. "To you, Trevor. And your brilliant orator skills."

Trevor smiled. "To you, Olivia. And your absolute beauty, brains, and all-around badassery." They clinked glasses and each took a sip of their wine.

They finished their wine and the gala wrapped up, Trevor and Olivia grabbed their gift bags and Trevor helped Olivia into her coat and they walked out of the venue, up the stairs to street level, where they saw Ellen Kaplan drop her purse. Olivia looked at her with compassion and said "Oh, let me get that for you," but as she leaned down to get the bag so did Ellen. She insisted she'd just had too much champagne and that she was fine, then Mitch, her husband, pulled up with the car, she got in it and they left.

Trevor hailed them a cab and they rode back home, Olivia was distracted, gently chewing on her bottom lip. Once they arrived back at the apartment building they rode the elevator up and then entered the apartment, paying Martha and sending her home. Olivia took off her coat and hung it up. She kicked out of her shoes and walked to the kitchen, boiling some water so she could have a cup of tea, still distracted. "Liv, baby, what's wrong?"

Olivia looked at him. "Huh? Oh, nothing. Nothing." She shook her head and went back to thinking.

Trevor walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "Olivia Benson I know you and I know there's something wrong. Tell me."

Olivia leaned against him and closed her eyes. "Something was off about Ellen," she said matter of factly. "That wasn't too much champagne."

Trevor kissed behind her ear. "I know," he whispered. "I know." He saw the electric kettle boil and turn off. He watched Olivia make herself a cup of tea.

Olivia took a sip from her tea and turned in his arms. "I'm sorry I'm distracted," she said softly. "Want some tea?"

Trevor smiled. "No, thanks." He rubbed his hands over her arms. "Hey, I love that you care so deeply about survivors, it's one of the things I love most about you, but right now, tonight, you can't do anything about it. You don't have a disclosure. So, I want you to put it out of your mind, and let me take care of you. Can you do that?"

Olivia lifted her eyes to meet his. She smirked and nodded. "I can, but can I bring my tea with me?"

Trevor chuckled. "We can work with it." He moved away from her and held out his hand. "Come on."

Olivia took his hand and let him lead her to the bedroom and into the en suite bathroom. He took her tea cup and placed it on the sink counter, then lifted her and set her down on the other side of the sink. She picked her tea back up and smiled. "What are we doing in here?"

Trevor smiled. "I was going to suggest a nice hot shower, but that wouldn't be conducive to your tea, so how about a bath?"

Olivia smirked. "That sounds good," she said coyly taking a sip of her tea, allowing the warmth to spread down her digestive tract. "Are you going to join me?"

Trevor smiled and turned the water on, adding some bubbles and sprinkling in some relaxing bath salts. "Only if you want me to."

Olivia watched him and smiled. "I always want you to. I want you to hold me while we soak. Maybe touch me?"

Trevor smiled and kissed her softly. "That comes after the bath, baby."
