Hey guys, I'm back super quick with this update. I wanted to get it done ASAP. This chapter is dedicated, in loving memory, to Natasha Alexenko. Rest easy, friend.

The Bob Flynn case ended with him being killed by Mitch Kaplan, which the squad witnessed live on camera. Once her day ended and she clocked out she went home and melted into Trevor. "I will never get used to watching people die, it's so gut-wrenching."

Trevor held her and rubbed her arm. "I know, baby." He whispered and kissed the top of her head. "I can't even imagine."

Olivia closed her eyes, thankful Noah wasn't home from school yet so she could have some time alone to process the events of the day with just Trevor. "It's one of the worst parts of my job."

Trevor continued to stroke her arm. "I've got you, love. I'm right here."

Olivia nuzzled into him further and let out a breath. "Thank you for leaving work early for me."

Trevor nodded. "I wouldn't dream of letting you go through this alone."

Olivia looked up at him and kissed him softly, not wanting to move it any further, but also needing a level of comfort she could only get from a kiss.

Trevor pulled away. "Liv," he whispered.

Olivia pulled him close. "Please. Just kiss me. Please," she begged, tears in her eyes.

Trevor wiped her eyes with his thumbs and held her close. "I'll kiss you as much as you want tonight, but it can't go further. Not tonight, deal?"

Olivia nodded. "Deal." She leaned in and kissed him softly again.

Trevor smiled and kept kissing her until they heard a key in the door. They broke apart and he looked into her eyes. "You okay?

Olivia shrugged. "I'm not sure, but I will be," she felt him wipe away the tears that fell from her eyes just as the door opened, and in walked Noah and Martha.

Noah ran over to them. "Mom, Trevor!"

Olivia smiled, between Noah and Trevor, the two of them turned this hellish day into something more than just bearable. "Hello, my sweet boy!" She hugged him tight. "How was school?"

Noah smiled. "Mom, I can't breathe."

Olivia let him go and looked at him, concern on her face. "Just from my hug?"

Noah smiled. "Yeah, you were holding me really tight."

Olivia caressed his curly hair. "Sorry, sweet boy." She smiled. She kissed the top of his head gently. "Listen, this weekend you're going to stay with Auntie Amanda and Uncle Sonny. Trevor and I are going to bring the rest of his stuff here and it's going to take a little bit of time."

Noah's face lit up. He loved seeing Jesse and Billie and enjoyed spending the night with them, so spending more than one night was like heaven. "Okay!" He looked at them. "When do I go over!?"

Olivia smiled. She loved that he loved getting to spend time with her squad, it did make parenting a whole lot easier. "Well, Auntie Amanda and I were thinking you go over there after school tomorrow and I'll pick you up on Sunday. How does that sound?"

Noah smiled. "That sounds good!"

Olivia smiled. "Okay, go do your homework," she said with a smile. Once he went off to do his homework she looked up at Trevor. "This weekend is going to be amazing," she whispered and kissed him softly. "And we can be loud 'cause one we won't have a kid and two you're leaving the apartment."

Trevor smiled. "I love it when you can be loud. It makes me so hard."

Olivia let out a soft moan and kissed him again. "Careful baby, you set the boundary of no sex tonight."

Trevor ran his hand over her side. "There are other ways to be intimate other than just sex."

Olivia smiled. "Are you gonna show me?"

Trevor leaned in and kissed her softly. "Come 'ere" he whispered and brought her closer to him, so she was sitting sideways on his lap. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her again.

Olivia let out a soft moan. And she wrapped her arms around his neck. She broke the kiss and smiled, blushing. "Thank you."

Trevor caressed her face and tucked a tendril of hair behind her ear. "For what?"

Olivia searched his eyes. "For always showing me I'm more than sex. For not letting me hide in sex to forget, for making me face this, but not making me face it alone."

Trevor kissed her forehead. "Always, Olivia. Always."

Olivia rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. "Mm, I really should change out of my work clothes, but I'm so tired and just want to be in your arms."

Trevor kissed her neck chastely and held her tighter. "How about we go into the bedroom and you lay down after you change and I'll hold you?"

Olivia looked up at him. "That sounds amazing. We have to let Noah know though, and open the door once I'm changed, so he can come get us if he needs us."

Trevor smiled. "Come and get me. You need your rest," he whispered.

Olivia smiled. "Thank you," she whispered back. She felt him hold her tight and stand up, carrying her into the bedroom.

Trevor closed the door so she could change. He looked at her as she got clothes out of the dresser and he smiled. "You change, I'm gonna go tell Noah that we're in here if he needs us."

Olivia smiled. "Okay." She watched him walk out of the bedroom, closing the door behind him. She quickly changed and opened the door then got in on her side of the bed, rolling on her side facing the door.

Trevor walked back into the bedroom and stopped in his tracks when he saw her. "My god you're beautiful, ethereal."

Olivia smiled and buried her head in the pillow, blushing. "Thank you," she murmured.

Trevor walked over to his side of the bed and wrapped an arm around her. "Do you want me to spoon you or do you want to nuzzle into my chest?"

Olivia rolled over to face him. "Let me nuzzle into your chest?"

Trevor rolled on his back and wrapped an arm around her shoulders as she nestled into him. "Now relax. I've got you."

Olivia closed her eyes. "Mm. This is perfect." She kissed his chest. "You're the best."

Trevor gently stroked her upper arm and kissed the top of her head. "That's you, baby."

Olivia smiled and drifted off to sleep.

Trevor kept holding her as he scrolled through his phone, the news of Bob Flynn's death making headlines already. He sighed and put his phone down, closing his eyes. About half an hour later Noah came walking in, which caused Trevor's eyes to flutter open. "Hey Noah," he whispered.

Noah smiled. "Hi, homework is all done. Is mom okay?" He asked, concerned.

Trevor nodded and smiled. "Yeah, she just had a really rough day at work and it's taking its toll on her."

Noah nodded. "Can I watch some TV?"

Trevor nodded. "Of course. But keep it low okay, so mom doesn't wake up."

Noah nodded. "Got it, thanks, Dad!" Noah had turned around and was walking out when he stopped in his tracks. "I mean…"

Trevor smiled wide at his use of the word dad. "Don't worry about it kiddo."

Noah nodded and kept walking to the living room. He turned on the TV and rested against the couch.

Olivi stirred about an hour later and she looked at Trevor. "Mm, what time is it?"

Trevor looked down at her. "Hey there Sleeping Beauty." He looked at his watch. "It's 5:15."

Olivia rubbed her eyes carefully, cognizant of her eye makeup. "Thank you for letting me sleep."

Trevor smiled. "Of course. Can I tell you something?"

Olivia smiled. "Anything."

Trevor leaned in and kissed her softly. "Noah called me dad," he spoke softly with a wide, goofy grin on his face. "I think it was an accident but it felt really good."

Olivia smiled and kissed him gently. "That's amazing!" She said softly. "We can talk to him together about it."

Trevor smiled. "Okay, but first—" he leaned in and kissed her slowly, passionately. He rolled on top of her and caressed her body.

Olivia let out a soft moan and caressed his cheek. She pulled away and smiled. "Careful baby, the door is open," she whispered, not caring about their no sex tonight rule, because he was right, there were more things they could do to be intimate than just sex, but she didn't want Noah seeing the more hands-on intimate acts.

Trevor rolled off of her and smiled. "Sorry, I just love kissing you."

Olivia smiled and sat up. "I love it too, I just don't want Noah seeing us getting handsy. Where is he?"

Trevor smiled. "Watching TV." He sat up and rubbed her back. "Should we go say hi?"

Olivia nodded. "Yes, and let's figure out dinner while we're out there."

Trevor looked at her. "And talk about the dad thing?" He asked hopefully. He didn't want to step on any toes, but hearing Noah call him dad meant so much to him.

Olivia smiled and kissed him. "And talk about the dad thing." She caressed his face and looked into his eyes. "God I love you."

Trevor smiled. "Come on, let's go see Noah." He got up and took her hand when he got to her side of the bed. They walked out hand in hand and sat on the other side of Noah.

Noah looked at them. "Hi Mom, hi Trevor!"

Olivia flicked her eyes up to Trevor and saw that Noah using his name was like a knife to the heart. "So, Noah, I hear you called Trevor dad this afternoon."

Noah hung his head. "I won't do it again," he said, ashamed.

Trevor looked at him. "Hey, I didn't mind it. In fact, I loved it."

Noah looked up at Trevor and smiled. "Really?"

Trevor nodded. "Yeah."

Olivia spoke softly to Noah. "If it feels good and right to call Trevor dad, you call him dad, okay?"

Noah nodded, and he hugged Olivia. "Thanks, mom." He hugged Trevor and smiled. "Thanks, Dad."

Olivia smiled. Okay, what do we want for dinner? I need to go grocery shopping, so we have to do takeout tonight because we don't really have anything to make. What are you boys in the mood for?"

Trevor looked at Noah. "Chinese?" Noah nodded. "Chinese."

Olivia smiled. "Chinese it is." She got up got the Chinese restaurant menu and walked it back over to the couch, letting Noah and Trevor look at it. "I'm getting chicken Lo mein and some scallion pancakes."

Noah smiled. "Can I have sweet and sour chicken?"

Olivia smiled. "You can have whatever you want."

Trevor looked at Olivia. "I'll have the Szechuan chicken."

Olivia smiled. "Really?"

Trevor grinned. "I want something spicy," he whispered seductively.

Noah piped up. "Dad."

Trevor smiled. "What I was talking about food!"

Olivia shook her head. "Uh-huh." She picked up her phone and ordered dinner, giving them her card over the phone. Once she finished she hung up and wrapped an arm around Noah's shoulders. "Homework is all done?"

Noah smiled. "Yup! And I read a chapter of my independent reading book!"

Olivia smiled. "You're such a good kid."

They watched TV together as a family and then there was a knock on the door. She got up and looked through the peephole to see that it was their food. Olivia opened the door, signed for the food, and then brought it to the table. "Dinner!"

Trevor and Noah walked over to the dining room and stood behind Olivia. "Thank you, baby," he whispered. His breath hit on her ear."

Olivia closed her eyes. "Careful." She handed out the food and forks and chopsticks. "Eat up!"

They ate with gentle, comfortable banter. Olivia smiled and looked at Trevor and Noah, her boys. Trevor looked at her and winked and she smiled, resting a hand on his. She gently ran her foot over his leg. Trevor looked at her and she winked back, moving her foot and continuing to eat.
