"Good to see ya, man," Heath calls out from the road, leaning against his car with a small, affable grin. Maryse leans on the trunk of the car, waving, and Ricardo laughs softly.

"Man, it's been awhile," he calls back. "What's going on? I saw you on Raw last week, Maryse."

She smirks, flipping her hair over her shoulder, adjusting her sunglasses. "Yeah, well, when Miz and Mrs duty calls, I come running. You know."

Heath rolls his eyes, rocks forward on his heels. "So how are things goin' for you guys? Looks like y'all are gettin' through the pandemic ok so far."

"So far so good, yeah," Ricardo responds, running his fingers through his hair. "Alicia'll be out in a minute, she's just taking care of Andre." Teething is still a little bit of an issue, but he's slept a few hours the last few nights, and his fever broke, so they're a little less frantic, but they still navigate around him, making sure he's ok, that everything's going as well as it can be in his little corner of the universe.

Maryse smiles in understanding. "I remember when Monroe was that age, my first time experiencing teething. It was a difficult week. But she got through it, and she's a beautiful happy little girl right now. Your Andre will be just fine too."

"I hope so," Ricardo says, picking through the grass to stand a couple inches closer to where they're at, so they can hear each other a bit better. "Do you have any life lessons on how to handle it?"

"Oh, I'm sure you're doing everything already," she laughs softly. "Ice on a washcloth, sometimes let them gum on a freezer pop. Remember those?" When he nods, she smiles at him. "Otherwise, just be there for him, comfort him as best as you can. It'll pass."

"I can't wait," he confesses. "I miss his happy little gurgles and stuff."

Maryse smiles at him, eyes shining with compassion. "Soon enough, those will be his happy first words, and then you'll never stop falling a little more in love with his voice."

He thinks about that- about what his son will sound like, the way words will flow from hsi lips- and exhales slowly. Will he be a language nut like me? Will he want to learn Spanish? Or any of the other languages I can help him with? I hope... "I... yeah. That's going to be amazing."

Heath leans forward, his elbows against the car, and smiles as the door opens up. "There she is now," he says loudly, Alicia joning Ricardo in the yard.

She looks tired, a little frazzled, hair untouched and going every which way around her head. She's never looked more beautiful to Ricardo than right this moment. "Hey, guys," she calls out with a cheerful wave, resting her head on his shoulder. "He's dozed off finally. Sofia's sitting with him."

"Great." He leans in and kisses the side of her face, smiling down at her. "So," he says, wrapping an arm around her waist. "What are you two planning on doing once things relax a little bit?"

"Continue filming Miz and Mrs," Maryse shrugs.

"Continue rehab so I can get back to Impact sooner," Heath exhales. "Matt Cardona's there now, it'll be good to see some friendly faces again." He frowns. "And somethin's going on with Rhino, he ain't returnin' my calls, but I'll figure it out when I get back there."

"You have plenty of time," Maryse tells him, resting a hand on his chest and searching his face. "Your surgery was very intensive, I won't have you rushing things and reinjurying yourself."

He flushes, slightly, then nods. "I know, Maryse. Just... plans. For way into the future. I promise."

She relaxes, a little, but doesn't remove her hand, turning to lean into him. He wraps an arm around her shoulders, and Ricardo's struck by something as he watches them.

"Hey, Heath," he calls out and his friend looks up, curious.

"Yeah?"

Ricardo grins, squeezing Alicia slightly. "We're really two of the luckiest idiots in the world, aren't we?"

Heath blinks, then looks down at Maryse while Ricardo's smile grows. "Yeah, man," he calls back after a few moments. "We truly are."
