Hey there, I'm back from my break and this fic needs an update. I just love writing Komi adventure in the My Hero world, getting a sense of regular things while the hero stuff is left for the hero course. We will handle now two small parts today, this is it.

The next day

Tadano arrived at 1-D at his usual time, however he saw that Komi was already there in the classroom.

"Oh hi Komi, good morning, you're earlier than usual.'' Said him.

However Komi started to shake and Tadano could tell she was already nervous.

"Already!'' Thoguht him.

He then tried to fix this situation.

"What's the matter Komi? Tell me. I can hear your heartbeat from here.'' Said him.

Komi than handle him a letter and Tadano was now blushing all mad.

"What could be so important that she wants to tell me?'' Thought him.

Tadano open the letter expecting some kind of news. Instead what he got was this:

´´When a clock is hungry, it goes back four second. ``

Tadano read that and was beyond confused.

"Um….is this some sort…of code?'' Asked him completely lost. Komi than lifted her notebook and explained.

´´I saw something on TV yesterday that said jokes are important for communication. So I wrote a funny joke I heard recently.``

"Recently?!'' Thought him in shock.

Tadano didn't wanted to tell the girl that the joke seemed dated and not a good one.

"Uh maybe you should try something more situational.'' Said Tadano.

Komi heard that and immediately had an idea on what to write.

´´Tis the season for purse snatching. ``

"Yes, it is muggy out but…'' Thought Tadano understanding the idea of the pun, but it was still not good.

He tried to get some other ideas, he didn't wanted Komi to spread lames jokes to the others of their classroom.

"No! You don't understand! That was funny but…jokes come across better out loud.'' Said him trying to get a point.

Komi soon got up from her seat and went to the hallway, much to Tadano confusion. He soon got a call and saw it was Komi.

"Aluminum can do what tin cant.'' Said her.

"What's with the dumb puns?!'' Thoguht Tadano.

Komi soon returned and asked something while shaking.

´´Was it funny?!''

Tadano didn't know what to say at this moment.

"Can I tell her that dumb puns are dad jokes?'' thought him.

"Good morning! Its so humid today.'' Said Najimi arriving in the classroom.

"Najimi! I am saved!'' Thought Tadano.

"Anyway, I found this creepy note in my locker.'' Said them holding the supposed creepy note.

``Where do bombs stay on vacation? A boom with a view.``

"Another victim!'' Thought Tadano.

Najimi soon got up to speed with what was happening at the moment and understood the situation.

"Oh, I thought this was some sort of code threating to kill me. I got those before. Anyway we can fix these things with no problem. Tadano, give Komi an example of a good joke!'' Said Najimi.

"Huh?'' Asked Tadano now all surprised.

He didn't expect to tell a joke at this moment, but with Najimi trying to make him talk and Komi with her sparkling eyes he had do something.

"Oh no! I better to make this perfect!'' Thought him.

Soon Tadano gave his best attempt at a joke.

"Cats…make…puurfect…pets?'' Said Tadano all embarrassed.

He thought he made himself look like a fool in front of the two, but Komi apparently liked. She had her cat ears popping out.

"She liked it!'' Thought Tadano.

"Man, you´re going places as a comedian.'' Said Najimi laughing at the cringe factor.

"Let's not talk about that!'' Said Tadano all embarrassed.

Later

It was the end of the class and the humid day turned into a rainy afternoon.

At 1-A

Izuku, Ida and Uraraka were seeing the stormy weather and saw that they had to hurry up.

"Man its raining and I didn't bring an umbrella.'' Said Izuku.

"Same here Deku, we are going to get all soaked up.'' Said Uraraka.

"We can run as fast as we can to the nearest train station. It might be risky but its better than nothing.'' Said Ida.

"I agree.'' Said Izuku.

"Let's do it boys!'' Scream Uraraka.

The trio went and ran as fast as they could, they would get somewhat wet but it expected.

At 1-D

Tadano was tired after doing some duties as the class representative, Najimi however didn't even tried to be around.

"Uh that meeting took forever to finish and Najimi bailed out again.'' Thought Tadano.

As he went to the umbrella locker, he saw Komi standing in the front door looking at the rain.

"Komi, what are you doing here so late?'' Asked Tadano.

´´I was reading in the library and lost track of time.``

"Oh really.'' Said Tadano getting the explanation.

He saw that Komi was holding an umbrella and thought it would be good for her to have some company.

"Komi did you bring an umbrella?'' Asked him just to be sure.

Komi nod her head in response.

"Good, I brough one too.'' Said him.

However, once he went to grab his umbrella he saw it was gone and there was a note.

``I stole your umbrella. Phantom Thief N.``

"NAJIMI!" Though Tadano all pissed.

Tadano would have words with his childhood friend, but now he had to figure out what to do in this situation.

"Sorry…I forgot my umbrella…you can go ahead and…'' Said Tadano a bit red but Komi then open hers.

He saw the girl with the open umbrella and giving gestures saying ``come here``.

"Uh, you want to share? Are you sure. I can have my parents pick me up and…`` Said Tadano nervous.

Tadano couldn't hold his straight face for much longer, Komi was doing her stare, and he couldn't say no to a face like that.

"Alright, as far as the nearest convenience store.'' Said him all red.

The two soon were together under one umbrella, any teenager would die to have a chance to share an umbrella with Shoko Komi, however Tadano was a pile of nerves under there.

"How did I get into this situation?'' Thoguht Tadano.

Komi was holding the umbrella while Tadano tried his best to not cause a scene, but it was hard when you have the prettiest girl in school just a palm near you.

"We are so close!'' thought him.

Nearby

Uraraka was with Izuku and Ida as they took shelter near a drug store, while there she saw a duo holding an umbrella.

"Huh?'' Asked her confused.

Uraraka then saw Tadano and Komi sharing an umbrella, all glued together like a couple tends to do.

"What!'' Said her all in shock while Ida and Izuku were confused on what just happened.

Back with Tadano

Tadano was touching shoulders with Komi, but he didn't wanted to be so near her. He wanted to help her get pass her communication issue, just that.

"No, we can't touch.'' Thought him stepping out and going into the rain.

Once Komi saw that she also stopped out and tried to give more umbrella space for Tadano, the boy saw that and tried to help.

"That must be heavy, let me take care of it.'' Said him.

Komi handed the umbrella to Tadano, he soon got a hold of it and the two were walking all calmly through the rainy city.

"Clear skies in this mourning and now is pouring…'' Said Tadano giving something to talking about it.

Komi listen to half of this talk, most of the way she was just looking at Tadano.

"What's wrong Komi?'' Asked him.

Komi then stepped back and had a look of surprise, even she didn't know what was happening.

"Oh, a convenience store. I am going to buy my umbrella.'' Said Tadano.

Tadano went inside while Komi waited outside.

"I bought my umbrella and also some towels. Here, it's best for us to get dry.'' Said him giving her towel.

Tadano just dry himself while Komi was doing the same thing.

"Oh the sky are clearing out.'' Said Tadano a bit happy.

He went to see if Komi was ok with that, however he saw Komi still all wet and her white shirt of uniform now completely wet, even showing parts of her bra which made poor Tadano to shout into the heavens.

"AAAAAAAAH!

"Uh?!'' Asked Komi confused.

With Najimi

The mastermind behind the umbrella abduction was with a group of friends and having a good time.

"Yo Najimi, we are going to the arcade next, do you wanna go?'' Asked someone.

"Of course, I am still good for a few hours.'' Said Najimi.

"Great, by the way is this is a new umbrella? I thought yours look different.'' Asked the friend.

"Nah, Tadano let me borrow it.'' Said Najimi.

As the rain stopped falling Najimi stopped mid tracks, almost like something made them have a minute to think.

"Uh!'' Said them.

"What is it?'' Asked the friend.

"I feel that I missed the opportunity of a lifetime.'' Said Them not sure what they were talking about it.

Well one small chapter done, it's good to have these sorts of chapters in manga like these. I don't know if the My Hero School Briefs novels are canon, but they have some sort of daily activity, they are not the best ones but they are still there.
