With that statement the gathered newly transmogrified Army of snakes fall upon the Batman, quick punches take out some while kicks take out others, soon the sheer volume overwhelms him and everything seems lost but then

The Serpent's back away trying to cover their nose slits, so does Michael when he gets a good width of Batman's bat snake repellent (trademark), and in his distraction of trying to Quail his nasally irritated serpentail he barely notices Batman come up to him and rip the necklace off his neck

But he's interrupted by a quick bat fist to the face and he falls I can only watch on as his precious amulet is crushed beneath the bat boot

Michael( panicked): no!(he crawls over to the crush remains of the gem cradling them like a broken pet), no no I can't go back

Later in the medium security wing of Blackgate Michael continues to openly weep is Jeremy a flies and fails to comfort him about whatever got him so terrified

Jeremy(concerned): I don't know what that just meant to you, but if you cry in this much it must have been important

Before Michael can respond his serpent tale begins to wretch and soon throws up a diamond shaped Crystal which means to levitate and flies to the center of the room, splitting apart to real a screen on which is

Michael(falling to his knees and beginning to beg): please follow the no, I can still do it, I can still

But is interrupted by his father with a shout of Silence, to which he whimpers and lowers his head

Michael's father(straightening his puffed up chest for): now my son I should send a pickup ship, you will come home and you will be

But doodle dad is interrupted by Jeremy walking interview a very angry look on his face

Jeremy: hey if you were so unsure he could (he thinks for a moment about what exactly Michael was sent you to do and comes up a blank) do whatever he was sent you to do why do you even send him

Michael's father stairs at the defiant mortal man his tongue hisses out between clenched teeth and fury

Jeremy(glasses back to Michael and gives him a believing smile): I'm sure if you give him a bit more time he can do what(he draws another blank on what the hell Michael was sent here to do) that thing you sent him for

Michael's father only glares at Jeremy before speaking in a low menacing tone

Father: I will give him a human decade to complete his mission, if he is not succeeded when I come to verify, he is coming home!

The hollow transmission ends and the gem broadcasting it forward to the floor with a seemingly deafening tinkle

Jeremy (suddenly very concerned): I what, what were you sent here to do again

Michael(wide-eyed): take over the Earth,d- didn't you hear me say that

Jeremy begins rightly hyperventilating

Jeremy(very stuttering): I- I thought you were e-exaggerating

Michael: well I wasn't, but seeing as my gems been destroyed(begins to start getting panicky again), no I can't go back home I don't want to be king

As Michael begins to mumble something about it being boring back home the diamond begins to Glow again and a new transmission catches both of their attention

Michael's father( looking boredly at his sharp nails): I'll be sending your siblings to help you,(he looks directly at Michael) because you lost the most important tool as a conquestor

The call ends again and the two people in the cell look at each other, Jeremy looks down at Michael's snake tail who says wide-eyed as his other head, he looks back at Michael's feline face

The two of them begin laughing then crying then laugh crying into each other's arms
