Last two chapters for Season 2! We're counting this down till it's over! This chapter is gonna be fun. Especially because it's one big massive reference, and an homage to my favourite fight in anime and manga history. That being said, enough of my rambling, it's time to get to the fight you've all be waiting for!

No more delay, no more set up, the time is now. We've reached the climax! Here we go!

[Opening Song: SPECIALZ – By: King Gnu]

*The scene opens with a disembodied voice singing "You are my special" as drums and the sound of a turn table synthesizer follow it. As that happens, it shows Luz, no longer dressed in a hero costume but rather in a black trenchcoat with various decals, a white shirt, a purple skirt held up by a black belt with a golden buckle, a pair of spotted cat-themed stockings that reach just below her knees, a pair of black shoes, and a black fedora, standing atop a building, looking over the town of Gravesfield, Connecticut. The disembodied voice once again says, "You are my special." Luz narrows her now crimson-red eyes, glaring down at the town with anger and nostalgia.*

*The drums pick up in volume and are joined by an electric guitar, while at the same time, the title, "The Owl House - All For Luz," appears, with the Japanese Kanji "フクロウの家 -すべてはルスのために! " Underneath it, and in a smaller font. The large number 2 is still next to the title; however, instead of being the colour yellow, it is now a crimson red colour, as the final "You are my special" rings out.*

*As the opening begins in full, the scene cuts to Hunter sitting on a chair in a dark and empty room, a spotlight lampshading over him, his sword made of light plunged into the ground, his eyes narrowed, and his demeanour prepared for a battle, whilst dressed in his Golden Guard attire, minus the mask. The scene cuts to Millie Ravenclaw creating a small army of Abominations, and much like Hunter, her expression is one of determination, prepared for whatever battle was about to come as a disembodied voice sings*

"Come on, let's dance to the edge and tumble down again."

"The town stands tall, post up at the end."

*Mid verse, the scene shifts to Sophia coated in a massive amount of dark energy, like that of a blackened flame, her eyes filled with both bloodlust and anticipation, whilst Jonah slowly fades into existence behind her out of a purple cloud, looming over her, arms crossed, no longer wearing the gas mask with a large smirk on his face, as Charlie sits on his shoulders, arms resting on his head as the disembodied voice continues.*

"Let's struggle on to the edge of death 'til nothing is left."

"Dance wildly. The bold are those who claim their respect."

*The scene changes to Luz walking down the barren streets of an evacuated Gravesfield, the ends of her trenchcoat swaying back and forth in the wind, her hands in her coat pockets. As she walks down the road, red sparks dance over her body as she glares down a police blockade.*

*She outstretches her left hand, the red sparks leaping off her arm. A dark purple aura follows suit alongside the red sparks, mixed with golden sparks of energy and red. A smirk takes up her visage as a wave of yellow and black energy rushes forward, forcing a scene transition as the disembodied voice continues.*

"I love you, baby."

"Sing again 'till the morning comes…"

"No matter your sorry state…!"

"The childish games you play."

*As the scene transitions to something else, that being of a group of monsters with their brains exposed atop the roofs of buildings, one of which is on all fours like an animal, another is made of nothing but pure muscle, and another is more feminine appearing with a slender build with what appears to be vines coiling around their fingers. Each of them is on a separate building, and each of them are faced by Millie, Sophia, and Jonah, respectively.*

*Meanwhile, Luz is staring down Hunter as Luz takes off her fedora, revealing white hair rather than her usual brown hair. Not even a second later, the two charge at one another, Hunter with his sword drawn and ready to use and Luz with a manic gleam in her eyes and her right fist pulled back, ready to engage. All the while, as all of this is happening, the disembodied voice continues to sing*

"You burn through to my heart. Let me cherish you always!"

"Don't ever run 'cause you know too well, You Are My Special!"

*As the chorus begins to play alongside the action, the animal-like Nomu charges at Millie as she fires balls of flames toward it with increased fervour, eyes wide with panic behind them, as a group of abominations go to dogpile the beast. The muscle-bound Nomu engages in a fist clash with Sophia, shockwaves bounding out from their attacks meeting in the middle, each countering their attacks with another's attacks. Finally, the feminine-looking Nomu whips metal-infused vine whips toward Jonah, who keeps ducking and weaving as smoke. At the same time, the Nomu seemingly keeps predicting where Jonah seems to be appearing to avoid their attacks. All the while, the disembodied voice continues to sing.*

"Drive my heart in two, I feel it beating anew!"

"Put you under the spell, consume the future as well!"

"In that maze of you, we rendezvous…!"

"A daze that I never felt. You Are My Special!"

*The scene changes to Luz and Hunter exchanging attack after attack, blow after blow, dodging each other's punches, kicks, and beams of light and fire. Luz plants her hand on the floor as a wave of decay speeds toward Hunter, who turns into light and blips behind Luz, raising his weapon over his head to cut her in half, only for a barrier to be erected around her and for her to blast him with a wave of pure energy, knocking him back.*

*As Hunter lands, wings made of light sprout from his back, and his right arm becomes larger and larger until it matches the size and density of a massive cylinder. Luz does the same thing with flames; only her arm is covered by a million other tinier arms, and spikes appear out every little orifice of the arm as they can before the arm is bathed in a coil of flames.*

*The two charge at one another, both reeling their arms back and just before their fists collide, the scene zooms out to an overhead shot of the state of Connecticut; all the while, the Disembodied voice finishes the song as the beat fades out with a final guitar riff.*

"Dancing to your tune, the whole world spins out of hue!"

"No, no, no, don't relax, the demon's breaking its shell!"

"In that maze of you, we rendezvous!"

"No matter what they tell, You Are My Special!"

"We're Special!"

[October 1st, 2020 – Part 2]

Hunter hadn't known what he was supposed to expect. The fact that his team died in less than two minutes, or the fact that Millie got bailed by The Emperor. Hunter knew about The Emperor's power. It was one he got from The Interloper, albeit forcefully, when they last met. It was called Portal. It allowed The Emperor to create portals for those he knew, and open them directly under them, acting as a getaway.

It only worked on people he knew, which was why he still had the Portal Door. That way he could stay in contact with the other assassins. That, and he could only teleport people to him, and not the other way around. It was good for getting allies out of sour situations, but it didn't do him any good for when he needed to escape to a place, because it wasn't like he could use it himself.

As for how he got the power, he was given it at the end of The War during Interloper and his final confrontation, which was apparently meant to weaken him. It did, to an extent, forcing him to consume more Palisman's so that the glyphs in his body didn't kill him faster than they already were; although that was beside the point.

The fact that, out of everyone who lived, Millie was one of them showed him that those creatures, those "Nomu" as Luz had called them, were not immortal. That they could be killed.

And if they could be killed, so could Luz.

Hunter immediately attempted to wrestle out of Luz's grasp, only for Luz to throw him violently down from the sky, and through the statue, toppling it and rendering it to nothing but scrap metal. Every bone in Hunter's body ached as his muscles throbbed in pain. Small cracks forming on the side of his face that quickly patched up. Regeneration was one hell of a power, but it hurt. It hurt a lot.

"I have to admit, I didn't expect them to last that long. I also didn't expect for one of them to survive. Though, I suppose Doberman was the weakest link out of all them. He was only supposed to be a pet, and nothing more. If my… former co-worker hadn't released the other one early, then Millie more than likely would've met her end," Luz said, her tone cold and with a hint of annoyance.

She landed just a few feet in front of Hunter's prone form, as he slowly pulled himself out of the hole created by the force of Luz's throw. As he pulled himself to his feet, Hunter sneered at her, putting his hands together as he created a thin thrusting sword out of his light.

"Alright, you filthy human. You said that if I cooperated that you'd put limits on yourself. Name them, and I'll honour the battle," Hunter spat. He couldn't believe he was going along with this, but if it meant he stood a chance against Luz, then so be it.

Luz smirked, showing her teeth as she did. There was a level of cockiness in her demeanour that showed the fact that she wasn't even the least bit intimidated by him. She put her hands in her pockets, relaxing her posture, before she spoke. "Fine then. Aside from the powers that are always active that I cannot turn off, I'll be limiting myself to only Cleave. I've been meaning to test it out in a meaningful setting, and this just so happens to be it."

"Furthermore, if you hit me even—even once, and it does damage, such as a cut, a scrape, a slash, or a sizeable bruise, I'll kill myself," as Luz said that, she made a cutting motion with her finger against her neck. Hunter couldn't believe what he was hearing. Literally. He scowled, glaring are her as he pointed his light sword at her.

"I don't buy it. Prove to me that you'll be honest!" Hunter demanded as Luz scoffed.

"How would I do that?" Luz mocked as Hunter faltered, trying to think of a way. His first immediate thought was an everlasting oath, but those only worked on the isles due to the magical nature of the Titan. They didn't work on Earth, and as such that was a no-go. Not to mention that he had no magical essence, and Luz certainly did not have any either.

"Damnit…" Hunter thought, mind racing as Luz scoffed.

"You can't think of anything, can you?" Luz said, before sighing. "Not that it matters, anyway. I'm a lady of my word. Tell me, Hunter, have I ever lied to you?" Luz questioned, to which Hunter frowned. She hadn't. Not when he was undercover, anyway. He knew it wasn't a smart idea to trust her, but there wasn't much else that he could do.

"Fine. Not that it matters anyway," Hunter said, and the moment he finished his sentence, he moved. He was as faster than light itself, he knew damn well that he could beat Luz in one attack. A smirk took up his visage as he prepared to strike Luz. He was going to cut her head off and be done with it.

He raised his light sword, and swung at her open neck. As the blade grew closer and closer to its target, he felt a sense of relief wash over him. He had no idea why he had been worried about fighting her. He was faster than her, and while he knew he wasn't stronger than her, he knew that he could cut through her skin with ease. Light, after all, was powerful in all forms.

"End of the line, Luz! You're finished!" Hunter thought, and just as the blade was about to make contact with her skin, Luz disappeared. Hunter's blade swung at air, the power of which was able to generate enough force to uplift the houses to the side of where Luz was previously standing, whipping winds that uprooted the trees planted next to the sidewalk, and cracked the concrete and pavement around him.

"What the—" and then, he was sent flying down the road, pain surging throughout his body was he used his blade of light to slow down. It was all for naught, as Luz appeared in front of faster than he could blink, and kicked him into the air. He deployed wings of light, hovering as he trained to regain his composure, only for Luz to be right beside him, already winding up a roundhouse kick.

Hunter instinctively protected himself with one of his wings of light, as he was sent flying faster than he had ever flown before—and that was insane, because he was able to casually fly faster than light. He felt something hard slam into his back, and that was when he realized that he had been punched through not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, but six skyscrapers.

"Wait a second… SKYSCRAPERS!?" Hunter thought as he tried to stand up, looking around his surroundings. He was inside an office building, and upon looking out a window, he realized that he was no longer in Gravesfield. He was in Stamford. "How the hell—" Hunter wasn't allowed to finish his thought as Luz was once again in front of him, her expression one of sadistic glee as she punched him through the wall, and down into the streets below.

When he landed, blood drenched his nose and the side of his face, all the while he coughed up more blood that splattered over his neck and chest plate. His Regeneration was working overtime to keep up with the constant barrage of attacks, and as he finally felt his skull heal after the pounding it had taken, he was only just barely able to dodge out of the way of another punch.

He watched, now airborne, as the punch that Luz had done created a massive twelve inch hole in the ground. Then, as she turned to look at him, she swung her arm in his direction, and suddenly he felt as if a thousand small blades were cutting into his skin, as he was sent once again into the ground.

Unlike last time, he was able to get up quicker, and the thousands of cuts that appeared on his body were healed within an instant, which only seemed to be a distraction, as a bus came flying toward him. He summoned forth his sword of light and cut it in half, still processing the fact that he was in Stamford.

He had promised The Senate Leader Charlie Green that he would stay in Gravesfield, but as it was clear, that wasn't going to happen. Luz had other things in mind, and the fact that she was handedly kicking his ass wasn't a fun notion.

Just behind the bus was Luz, as several more invisible blades crashed into him and cut up his body, even going as far as to cut off his right arm. Before he could process what happened, he was once again thrown into another set of buildings, all the while he heard the manic laughter of his opponent.

She was having fun.

The bastard was having fun kicking his ass!

Rage boiled deep within Hunter as his right arm regenerated, and as he was flying through the air, he put both of his hands together, as a small ball of light began to form. As he charged up a laser attack, hoping to hit Luz before she could do anything else, he watched in shock and horror as his arms were cut into thin little pieces before his very eyes, as Luz charged him, seemingly flying despite it clearly only having been a jump—which was terrifying might he add—and gave him an uppercut to the jaw, sending him higher into the sky.

Luz propelled herself upward but firing off more cleaves, bringing her to float above him. Hunter's eyes widened as his arms finally healed. He raised his arm to attack her, only for Luz to dive down, grab him by the face, and shove him into the roof of Team Beacon's tower. Down and down they went, through floor after floor at speeds that his brain could hardly even process.

To make matters worse, it felt as if several hundred blades were digging into his face, scalp, and jaw, all faster than his regeneration could keep up with; all the while Luz laughed like a madwoman. By the time they made it to the final floor, debris crashed around them as Hunter tumbled forward, watching as the debris caused a miniature avalanche of rubble and destruction to smash open the front of the building.

How the building was still standing, Hunter had no idea. All he knew was that his face was mutilated. His right eye was hanging out of its socket, the left side of his face was down to just bones and stray bits of muscle fibre, and his jaw was hanging on by a few strands of flesh. Slowly, his face began to reform, his eyeball falling out and being replaced by a new one, all the while his screams of pain were muffled by his still reforming jaw.

The sound of Luz landing behind him made his whole body tremble with fear, doubly so when he heard her snickering behind his back. "You know, the way how the sun shines upon you. It really illuminates just how much of a pathetic weakling you truly are."

As Luz spoke, Hunter finally reattached his jaw, blood still leaking from the torn flesh. He tried to stand up, only for Luz to grab him by the back of his cloak, making sure her pinky finger didn't come into contact with any part of him as she lifted him to a standing height. "Vamos cabrón, is this all you've got?" Luz taunted, and for whatever reason, that lit a fire under Hunter, as anger began to boil within him.

This little human worm was taunting him! Him! The Golden Guard! Right hand man to The Emperor of the Boiling fucking Isles! This filthy monkey was calling him pathetic! How dare she! He was going to show her just how much stronger he was compared to her. No more being swatted around like an insect!

With a surge of power, Hunter swung on Luz, only for her to retaliate by cutting his arm off with a cleave, before sending him flying onto the street. Before Hunter could hit the floor, he sprouted wings of light and, used the momentum to create distance between himself and Luz, before waving his hand in a semi-circle motion to create a ring of several balls of light.

With a mere thought, Hunter commanded the balls of light to fire upon the spot where Luz had been standing, and as the lasers fired, the building was reduced to rubble as it toppled in on itself. However, Hunter knew that Luz probably escaped, and so to pre-emptively counter whatever attack was coming his way, he leapt up into the air, gritted his teeth, and forced his arms to enlarge.

They grew and grew until they were the size of small buildings, and upon balling them up into fists, he swung them down toward the small speck travelling toward him at blazingly fast speeds. Unfortunately, before either of the punches could connect, the arms were cut up into even more pieces they had been before, catching Hunter off guard as he narrowly dodged a kick aimed for his face.

Luz pivoted mid air, put both of her hands together, and slammed both them hammer style into the back of his head, sending Hunter back down to the ground. But as he fell, he turned around and fired off more lasers in her direction, all of which Luz dodged as she fell—gracefully, might he add.

Before he hit the ground, Hunter flapped his wings of light, flying back up into the air and snarling. "STAY STILL, YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Hunter roared as he gathered an idea. His power, Light Bringer, allowed him to control, create, and manipulate light. That never meant that he couldn't manipulate other light sources.

And seeing as he was in a city….

Hunter raised his hands into the air, and began pulling from all the available light sources within a 100 kilometre radius from where he was, which was dead in the center of the city. Light poured into his very location as he began to fire out toward Luz in the form of massive beams of light, as thick as a train and as fast as a shooting star.

They came at Luz from all angles, to which Luz cocked her neck to the side, and Hunter watched in both shock and awe as Luz's cleaves cut through the light. Where that typically wouldn't do anything, it severed his control over the beams of light, and caused it to dissipate. It took less than a fraction of a second for all of it to disappear, and as soon as it did, Hunter was sent once again through the city of Stamford.

He crashed through house after house, before finally finding himself in a now completely blacked out school. He heard screams, and as soon as he turned around, he found several pre-school aged children, alongside a teacher, huddling in a corner.

"What the hell are you doing here!? The state was evacuated!" Hunter all but shouted, but before he could hear the response of the teacher, Luz appeared in front of him and punched him so hard it shattered the room around him and sent the children and the teacher flying to the opposite wall, and him through the several more classrooms.

He was able to stop himself by turning his right arm giant and grabbing the wall, the blowback of which caused his arm to break at the elbow—which was nothing that his regeneration couldn't fix. He generated a beam of light in his left hand, and prepared to fire it at Luz. Before he could, his arm was once again cut up into several little pieces.

At this point, it was starting to really get on his nerves. Not only was Luz quicker on the draw of an attack than him—a being made out light—but he was getting the distinct feeling that she was still somehow holding back even while doing all of this.

He was just barely able to dodge out of the way of a left hook, as he tried to go for a body shot, only for Luz grab his fist with her free hand, twist it and rip his right arm out of its socket, blood spraying all over the right side of the classroom as Hunter bit back a scream of pain, before being hit with his arm so hard he was sent flying out of the school.

He tumbled and rolled out into the courtyard of the school, his arms regenerating. He couldn't tell if it was a good thing or a bad thing that he was starting to get numb from the pain. Either way, he created a shield of light to block and incoming attack from Luz, only for that shield of light to shatter as it was cut up into tiny little pieces.

He was once again grabbed by the face, only this time she threw him right instead of left, and he found himself landing on a highway. Luz was once again in front of him, as she grabbed a massive road sign out of the ground and smacked him with it, shattering the road sign and sending him through a bridge.

"Damnit! I knew she was stronger than me!" Hunter thought, as he attempted to dodge several more of those invisible slashes of hers, only to end up being hit by ever single one of them, his body being cut up in the process. Thankfully, he was able to regenerate. "But I had no idea that the gap between our strength was this large!"

As soon as that thought ended, he leapt backward, deployed his wings of light, and narrowed his eyes. He could feel his stamina slowly depleting, sweat building up on his forehead, meanwhile Luz seemed to be doing just fine. Luz leapt from the road, swung a right hook, and hit Hunter directly in the face as he found himself slamming into another building, joined by Luz standing in front of him.

"Ya give up yet?" Luz taunted as Hunter growled.

"I'll die before I ever give up!" Hunter shouted, enlarging his right hand, attempting to swat at Luz, only for Luz to swipe up with her right hand and cleave the enlarged arm into five separate pieces. Hunter used that as a distraction try and hit her with a left hook, only for Luz to cut him in half below the waist, before kicking the top half of his body through a wall.

Hunter tumbled as his lower half regenerated, doing so in such a way that his clothes were also replicated—because no one wanted to see that. He leapt out of the building, looking around his surrounding area, and realized that they had changed location yet again. They were now In New Haven, and he was standing in front of three massive buildings, the one in the middle being the one that he had just come out of.

That was when he got an idea.

"If this doesn't hit her, then I don't know what will!" Hunter thought as he created two massive building sized hands out of light, grabbed the two buildings next to the one had just come out of, and ripped them out of the ground before slamming them into the building in center, crushing the building in the middle like a piece of meat between two slabs of bread.

"There's no way that didn't hit her!" Hunter thought, only for his eyes to widen as two massive slashes carved through the sides and tops of the buildings, revealing a completely unscathed Luz, who's expression was downright demonic whilst striking a pose, her two arms outstretched to the left and right and her legs perfectly straight, as if she was being crucified.

Then, in less in the time it took to blink, she was already on him hitting him in the side of the face with the deadliest haymaker that he had ever been hit with. The blow was so hard that it knocked every tooth out of his mouth and sent him flying toward the street below. Before he could hit the ground, though, he created two massive light sword constructs and used them to hook into the nearby buildings, stopping his trajectory and catching himself mid-air.

He then dismissed the swords, drew out his wings, and created one massive sword about quintuple the size of the largest building in New Haven, that being the financial center. He slammed the massive blade down, cutting through several buildings and homes, destroying hundreds of millions of dollars in property, and even cutting the financial center in two!

However, even though the blade was large as it had been, he hadn't taken into account that Luz had already been behind him before he had swung the blade down, and before he could react, she shoved him into the nearby park. The force of the shove sent him through the dirt, creating a massive trail of uplifted grass, roots, and dirt.

He felt his body drained of energy. His breathing was heavy, and his lungs felt like they were burning. He had no idea how long the battle had gone on for—and that was being generous calling this a battle. It was a one-sided ass-whooping, and it wasn't even close.

Still, he had to continue. He had to! Luz needed to die! She couldn't be allowed to live, and while it was selfish of him he knew it had to be done. To hell with what Emperor Belos thought, she needed to die.

Pulling himself out of the dirt, his breathing heavy, he had one last idea. It was a last ditch attack—something he had never had to do before, especially given the circumstances. She was clearly faster than him just by using his base speed. There was nothing that he could change about that. But, if he were able to amp his speed, then maybe, just maybe, he could hit her at least once, and from there, he'd pray that she'd keep her word.

"If I use this… If I don't hit her with this…. I'll be out of juice," Hunter thought as Luz walked toward him, her hands in her pockets, her expression one of boredom. The gleam in her eyes screamed unsatisfied, and it made sense. To her, he must've been a waste of time. He wouldn't lie and say that he didn't feel that way.

She had been playing with him, not taking him seriously. The gap in power was massive, but hopefully, he would be able to bridge the gap, even if it was for just one attack. He was going to put everything into this, and so, for that reason, he sucked in a deep breath, and felt everything slowdown to a crawl.

Luz's movements were extremely slow, to the point where he could see it in clear detail, as if a trail of after-images were being left behind. This was it. With Overclock active, he could hit her. He smiled, holding his breathe, and then, he lunged forward. Yellow lightning sparked off his feet as he jetted forward, his hand turning into a spear of light.

Luz's eyes widened, and it was clear that she hadn't expected him to pull out such an attack. But then, her expression slowly changed into that of a grin. He had no idea why that had been, until he noticed that his arm was falling, and that… he could see the rest of his body fall to the floor as well… and….

"Oh… She…. She cut off my head…." Hunter thought, as Overclock slowly began to fade. Just as it did, Luz thrusted her hand, palm forward, and his head turned into several cubes of meat before being splattered into nothing but red stains.

Luz stared down at Hunter's corpse, and for a moment, she sighed, frustrated. She had planned to take his powers, but instead she used Cleave to cut his head to pieces. While it was annoying, in hindsight, if she had taken his powers when she cut off his head, that would've created a vestige and that was the last thing that she wanted.

"I must say, Luz. The progress you've made since you've started to where you are now is nothing less than impressive. You've come quite a long way." Shigaraki congratulated as Luz relaxed. Not that she hadn't been relaxing the entire time. Hunter was, in short, pathetic. She had expected something far more…. Stronger out of him.

Instead, he was pathetic. All she used in that entire fight was Cleave, and that had been more than enough to do him in. The funniest part was that she had even de-activated Super Strength, Kinetic Absorption, Super Regeneration, and Pain Nullification. So if he had hit her with any of those attacks, she would've died in one shot.

She meant it when she said that she'd only use Cleave, and that was exactly what she had done. Luz hadn't expected her body to have been that strong to be able to do half of what she did back there. "Who knew that training rigorously like I had would allow me to do even half of that?" Luz thought, as he re-activated all of her passive powers.

"Thanks. Now then, why don't I pay The Wittebane Estate a visit. Something tells me that my ticket to The Boiling Isles will be there, since Hunter and Millie came from there," Luz thought in reply to Shigaraki. But just before she could, a cloaked figure, standing around eight feet tall loomed over her.

Luz took several steps back. The figure had appeared out of nowhere, and more to the point, the figure's eyes were glowing purple. Luz blinked, confusion taking up her visage as she went to say something, only for the cloaked figure to speak in a deep, growling tone of voice reminiscent of an angry dog.

"You killed Hunter," The figure snarled as Luz blinked.

"You knew him?" Luz questioned as the figure barked out a laugh.

"He was my co-worker. Not many people can claim to have been able to beat him. So, for you to have done so, you must be very strong," The Figure said as it adjusted its hood, and that was when she noticed that The Figure's hand had three very sharp claws rather than five fingers, along with silverish black fur.

A rumbling growling exiting the shadowy hood of the figure, as the purple glowing eyes narrowed. "You look a lot like a man I hate. Tell me, does the name Shigaraki ring any bells for you?" It was at that point that Luz realized that something was very, very wrong, and no more did that come to a head when Shigaraki spoke, and unlike every other occasion, his voice was not steady, nor was it calm.

It was panicked.

"Luz! Get out of there, now! You can't fight him! He'll kill you!" Shigaraki shouted in her mind, and just before she could move, as if he could tell just by how her eyes widened to the size of saucers, the figure growled.

"I knew it! Hunter was right! It's you!" The figure let out a loud, ear-shattering howl as they ripped off the cloak from their body, revealing what could only be described as the mixture of a werewolf, a fox, and a bear.

Massive, broad shoulders, claws the size of steak knives, digitigrade legs that resembled a wolf, and an extremely muscular physique to the point where it bordered on unrealistic; seriously, it looked as if his muscles had muscles. It was all topped off with a face that resembled more of a skull then anything else, mostly because it was a skull, with dark purple eyes with yellow sclera, and horns that grew at least three feet in length, one of the horns being cracked.

Finally, there was on last defining detail about the now clearly inhuman creature before her eyes. It wore a collar and a name tag, and that name was scrawled into the golden circular tag that was large enough to be the size of Luz's head. And that name…

Was King.

"SHIGARAKI! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" and with that, King charged.

[To Be Continued]

*The ending begins with Luz dressed in her hero costume, floating in the darkness of the void, eyes closed as she drifts about in the emptiness of nothingness, only to be grabbed by blackened tendrils formed out of the void and pulled down in the abyss. On the other side of the void, she's thrown to the ground, her hair white and her eyes open and blazing red. As she stands up, strings are attached to her shoulders, and she begins to move on her own toward the edge of what is revealed to be building; all the while, a disembodied voice sings in the background.*

"Simply put, all purity was hung away on that day, see."

"My curiosity had gotten the best of me."

"Was sweeter than a cake, but it wasn't filling."

"Like dancing with a puppet, so cold and empty."

*It continues as Luz falls down what seems to be an endless amount of distance toward the ground, her strings still attached to her body as she frantically starts to pull them off. Each string represents figures in her life, staring with her past principal, then the judge who sentenced her to that camp, Adrian Rogers, and finally her mother*

*Once the final string is pulled, flaming wings spread from her back just before she lands on the ground below, breaking her fall. As her flaming wings come out, her hero outfit burns away and is replaced by the black trenchcoat adorned with several patches and a bi-sexual flag pin, a pink shirt, a purple skirt with a fluffy white hem at the bottom, held up by a black belt with a golden buckle, and a pair of black ankle boots. When she lands on her feet, she dusts herself off, turning to face the street before her as the voice continues to sing.*

"Closet doors shut behind us."

"Huddling, our bodies hidden in the darkness."

"We'll sleep the night off and change when light comes."

"Or so I like to say."

*Across the street is Luz before she changed into what she is now, smiling and hanging out with her mother. Luz turns away, ignoring their presence, but when she turns, she sees another scene of her and her mother playing at the playground, having fun. Luz scowls before turning around and running down the street, trying to ignore her past and everything tied to it.*

*But as she runs down the street, she comes across the car crash that she was in when she was a child; as the younger her crawls out from the wreckage, staring at the crushed body of her father, bloodied, mangled, and broken. As all of this is happening, the voice keeps singing.*

"I'm just a child; I can't help it!"

"Don't go please, oh please, I'm begging."

"I'm so pathetic, a life built on selfish cries."

*Mid-verse, Luz turns to look away, only for her to be surrounded by a literal horde of small versions of her, all pointing at her as she looks up to see her father staring down at her, disappointment on his face as she begins to fall down a hole that opens up in the floor beneath her. She reaches up toward the hole before it's covered, and she's locked away in darkness, falling down once again, tears in her eyes as she keeps falling deeper and deeper as the voice continues.*

"All the toys were put away."

"I swear I'll change this time!"

"Still, I crawl for when I wore innocence like before."

"(Ah, ah, ah, ah!)"

*As the beat drops, the darkness around her turns to a bright yellow mixed with rainbow spirals. She falls past stuffed toys, trains, and books of various types, along with photos of her childhood and photos of her and Julia. She finally lands on the ground, surrounded by her childhood, showing her all the positive things she remembers being around.*

*However, when she narrows her eyes, they all go up in flames, replaced with her recent memories. Tragedy, loss, and death and suddenly, she's no longer tense. Instead, she's relaxed as the surrounding walls return to a drab black mixed with gray. A statement that she's more comfortable with this kind of stuff than all of the happy go-lucky things she used to be surrounded by. While all of this happened, the disembodied voice continued to sing.*

"Love's a high, sober up, you'll throw it all away."

"I've laid to waste all those feelings just to stay safe."

"But see this low-life now, still stuck in her ways."

"I wonder if there's a summer where I'll really change?"

*The ending begins to end as Luz walks down a hallway filled with memories of the recent past, of all the death and destruction both caused and not caused by her. The deeper she walks, the more of a smile takes up her visage as she finally reaches a door. When she opens it, she steps out onto a grassy field, except this grass is orange, and the skies are yellow with purple clouds. She's finally made it to The Boiling Isles; all the voice in the background keeps saying "Yellow" before eventually the beat fades out as the ending concludes.*

Yup! Here we fucking go! Ya'll wanted to know what will push Luz to awakening her Quirk? Well, here we have it. I'm actually shocked none of you were able to guess who the cloaked figure was. I mean, it was pretty obvious to me with the whole purple eyes thing. But, then again, there are a couple of characters in The Owl House with purple eyes. Whatever, point is, the reveal is now.

So, yeah, it's King. Our final battle is King. Next chapter is going to be fucking insane, so if you thought this chapter was action packed, just wait until the next chapter. Not to mention that the next chapter is the Season Finale. So, you can only imagine how that'll go.

Oh, and yeah, by the way, King is The General, if anyone couldn't guess.

Also, I wonder why Shigaraki is so worried about King. Hmmm. I guess you'll find out soon! Till next time, folks. See ya!
