Chapter 8

AN: A little shorter chapter. The characters (aside my OC) belong to Don't Nod and Square Enix. "" means talking, '' means texting, italics means thinking. The story is finished, and I'll be publishing one chapter a day until all chapters are up. Hope that you have enjoyed the story so far.
"Come with me Vic." Nathan said as he grabbed Victorias arm.
"Ow, hey let go of me Nathan. I want to hear who the winner is." Victoria said. "Hey, what's wrong with you?" She continued as Nathan dragged her into one of the adjacent changing rooms.
"What did you put in his drink Vic?" Nathan asked while staring at Victoria.
"What are you talking about?" Victoria said innocently.
"Don't play dumb games with me!" Nathan yelled making Victoria to start backing up.
"You are scaring me, Nathan. This isn't like you." Victoria said as she backed up, hitting a wall.
"Oh, you think this is scary? You have no idea what me being scary is like." Nathan said as he followed and put his hands on either side of Victoria against the wall. "Now answer me! What did you put in his drink?" Nathan asked, this time with his voice raised.
"What's it to you? It's not like you haven't drugged girls before to get them to sleep with you?" Victoria spats back.
"He's a teacher Vic! Do you know how much trouble he's going to be in if anyone finds out that he slept with a student? Do you want him to get fired and loose his teaching license? Do you want him to go to jail?" Nathan kept throwing at Victoria. "And for the record, I have never drugged anyone to get them to sleep with me." Nathan said as he backed off from Victoria. "Do yourself a favour and stop trying to pursue him, he's out of your league. Not to mention, he's like what, 20 years your senior?" he continued as he started to walk back out to the party. "Think about it." Nathan said as he walked away.
As Nathan walked back to the party, Victoria slid down the wall as her legs gave out. Never had Nathan yelled at her. Never had Nathan been angry with her. Everything they did, they did as a team. True, Victoria had dirt on Nathan, just like Nathan had dirt on her. If she were to go to the police or the principal about Nathan, he would likely counter with all the things she herself had done.
"No, I'll not back down. He'll be mine, one way or another." Victoria thought as she got back up.
When Victoria emerged from the changing room, she found Taylor and Courtney looking for her.
"Oh my god, Vic. Where have you been? You just missed something hilarious." Taylor said as she and Courtney laughed.
"Yeah, you should have seen Max Caulfield just now." Courtney said as she burst into another fit of laughter.
"What are you talking about? Who cares about that selfie-bitch?" Victoria said.
"Chill Victoria, we're not here to fight, alright." Courtney said as she took Victorias hand and led her back to one of the tables in the VIP section. "Hopefully Max will be alright." Courtney thought as she played along with Victoria and Taylor.
