The father and daughter fought side by side against the Marines, their coordinated attacks showing the strength of their bond.

Meanwhile, the Whitebeard Pirates focused on creating a direct path to the execution platform, clearing the way for Luffy to reach Ace. The young pirate was stunned by their efforts but didn't hesitate, pushing forward with renewed determination.

As he charged ahead, a revolutionary stopped in his tracks, and to Luffy's surprise, another figure suddenly popped out from the revolutionary's hair, casually holding a bottle of wine.

His hands turned into scissors and cut a way into the ground and made that into a bridge up to Ace. Luffy jumped on to the new path up with a big smile on his face, "Here I come, Ace!" but his happiness was short lived as someone stood in his way.

That someone was the hero vice-admiral also known as their grandpa.

"Please grandpa! Let me get by!" the young captain pleaded as the bridge was quickly crashing down. "If you want to pass by, you'll have to kill me first. This is the path you chose!" the vice admiral yelled. "Move away, grandpa. I can't do it!" Luffy pleaded.

Oriana felt her anger rise as she glared daggers at him. At the start of the war, Garp had at least managed to not participate and even refusing to fully engage in the battle. But now, not only had he stooped so low as to block Marco from saving Ace, but he had also gone even further by standing in the way of his own grandson, preventing Luffy from rescuing their brother.

Luffy was getting closer to Garp, and while Oriana wanted to rush in and help him, something held her back. She knew deep down that this was a moment Luffy had to face on his own. As he closed the distance, Luffy crouched low, activated his Second Gear, and launched a powerful punch straight at Garp's jaw. The force sent the old marine falling from the bridge.

For a split second, Oriana could've sworn she saw Garp close his eyes, almost as if he let Luffy hit him. A small smile tugged at her lips, proud that Luffy stayed true to what mattered most—his family. She also knew that a single punch from Luffy wouldn't keep someone like Garp down for long.

With Garp out of the way, Luffy charged ahead, more determined than ever to reach Ace, who was just a few meters in front of him. The bridge beneath him began to crumble, but Luffy didn't hesitate. He leaped from stone to stone with lightning speed, refusing to let anything stop him, until he finally landed on the execution platform, within reach of his brother.

The two brothers had big smiles on their faces, before Luffy went behind him and pulled out the key while the leader of the marine was silently watching him do it.

The fleet admiral suddenly turned big and golden; shocking a lot of people.

"Straw-Hat Luffy, you are also a high-class criminal who deserves the death penalty. I will execute you brothers myself," Sengoku pulled his fist back ready to strike.

Oriana moved and ran in the direction of her brothers, "There's no way I'm going to let him do that!" she knew how strong those high marines could be. With Ace shackled and Luffy barely standing, it was up to her as their older sister to help them out of this.

As Luffy got down to the handcuff, victory felt within reach, but that hope was quickly shattered. Kizaru, moving with blinding speed, fired a laser directly at the key in Luffy's hand, destroying it in an instant. The shattered remains of the key clattered to the ground, leaving Luffy in shock.

Before they could react, one of the executioners suddenly rose to his feet, revealing himself to be someone Luffy clearly recognized. The surprise didn't last long as the fleet admiral launched an attack aimed straight at Luffy and Ace.

Thinking quickly, Luffy inflated his body, taking in a massive gulp of air. His form swelled up as he activated Gear Third, using his now giant body to shield Ace. The incoming attack slammed into him with immense force, but Luffy's oversized form took the hit, preventing any harm from reaching Ace.

The execution platform broke with Ace and little Luffy falling. The marines were shooting their cannons at them, but Oriana made a tornado to protect them from the attack. The cannonball hit the wind and exploded circling the tornado beautifully.

The pirates watched anxiously for the brothers to come out of that, until the handcuffs hit the ground. Everyone looked up to see fire burst out of the wind and Oriana clearly saw Ace and Luffy in there smiling, "ACE!" they cheered after seeing their commander free.

As the brothers fell down Ace let go of Luffy and burned the marines waiting for them on the ground. The 2nd commander landed with an angry look making a small fire surrounding them ready to get revenge on the navy. Luffy came up next to him being a bit out of breath.

They fought the marines together and Oriana watched them happily. She had spent a couple of years on the same ship with Ace and some time with Luffy. The two brothers hadn't really fought together for more than three years.

"They make a perfect pair," Vista said. "Yeah, they do," Oriana smiled, letting them have their moment.

Ace and Luffy were running side by side until Aokiji stood in front of them. The fight didn't last long as the commander melted the admiral's ice.

The brothers went up to Oriana, "See, Oria I knew we were going to save Ace!" Luffy smiling. "Of course we were!" she smiled ruffing his hair before turning to Ace, "I'm happy to see you free, commander," he looked at her weirdly, "What are you doing?"

"As a commander of this crew I have to respect your… choices" she smiled uncomfortably. "Stop it, it's not like you at all," Ace said. Oriana weird smile faded, "Oh, thank God!" she said before hitting over the head, "I simply can't believe you!" then hugged him.

"I'm truly happy you free! Just don't do anything stupid now!" Oriana had a genuine smile this time.

Ace hugged her back, "I won't!" before they started running towards the ships, but one of their ships tore through the plaza with Squardo and his crew steering it, "Pops, everyone. Take this chance and run!"

The pirates understood his reason for doing this, but they definitely didn't support his suicidal decision.

Whitebeard certainly didn't appreciate it and put a stop on it immediately by literally stopping the ship, "Squardo, don't you realize how disrespectful it is for a son to die before his father! Did you actually think that small injury hurt me?! You're a fool! I'm not so weak to die from your blade!"

The great captain turned to his crew, "We've already done what we came here to do! Now listen up Whitebeard pirates! These are my final captain's orders!"

Oriana turned to her father shocked, "What did he just say?" she barely whispered not believing what she heard, and she wasn't the only one. "It's time for us to part ways! You must survive and return to the new world without me!" He said loud enough for everyone to hear.

"No…!" Her heart pounded in her chest. She was nowhere near ready to say goodbye to her father. The thought of losing him was unbearable. He had always been her rock, her guiding light in the chaotic world of pirates.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she recalled their last conversation. He had seemed invincible then, full of plans and dreams for the future. How could things have changed so quickly? The very foundation of her world was crumbling, and she felt powerless to stop it.

People were trying to get her attention because they knew Whitebeard's death would affect her the most.

"No…!" Her heart pounded in her chest, each beat echoing her rising panic. She wasn't ready to say goodbye to her father. The thought of losing him now, in the heat of battle, was unimaginable. Memories of their time together flooded her mind-the lessons he taught her, the strength he instilled in her, and the countless moments of laughter and camaraderie they shared. She felt a surge of determination well up inside her, fueled by a desperate need to protect him, to keep him safe just as he had always done for her.

"No, I won't let it happen," she whispered to herself, clenching her fists. She glanced back at Whitebeard, who stood tall and unwavering, a pillar of strength despite the dire situation. Her resolve hardened. Oriana knew that the only way to honor everything he had taught her was to fight with everything she had, to stand by his side and protect him with her life if necessary.

With a fierce determination burning in her eyes, Oriana surged forward, her mind set on one thing: saving her father.

"Dad, hang in there," she muttered under her breath, her voice a mix of desperation and resolve. She fought her way through the marines, her powers unleashing a torrent of wind and fire, clearing a path toward Whitebeard.

As she neared him, she saw the toll the battle was taking on him. He was still strong, but even the mightiest warriors had their limits. She had to act fast. Oriana reached Whitebeard's side, her presence a hindrance to him. He glanced at her, a mixture of annoyance and concern in his eyes.

"What are you doing, Oriana? Get out of here!" Whitebeard's voice boomed over the chaos, stern and commanding. "We've accomplished our goal. Go back to the New World!"

Oriana's heart sank at his words. She didn't want to leave him, not now, not ever. But she knew better than to argue with him in the middle of a battle. She could see the urgency in his eyes, the unspoken plea for her to stay safe.

"Dad, I can't just leave you!" Oriana protested, her voice wavering with emotion. "I need to stay and fight by your side."

"This isn't the time for defiance, treasure," Whitebeard replied, his tone softening for just a moment. "You've done your part. Now go."

"NO, I REFUSE TO LET YOU DIE HERE ALONE... Daddy!" Oriana's voice cracked, desperation seeping into her words.

Whitebeard's expression softened for a moment, a rare sight in the heat of battle. "There's no ship that I can sail on now. I'm a remnant of an old era! Go, survive, and live on."

Oriana's tears blurred her vision as she shook her head. "I can't just leave you here. Please, let me stay with you." Whitebeard's eyes hardened with determination. "Listen to me, Oriana. You've got a future ahead of you, a world to explore, and people to meet. You can't throw that away here."

"But… I can't imagine living in a world without you! Please, Dad, let me at least die with you!" Oriana pleaded, her voice thick with desperation.

Whitebeard didn't take those words kindly. His face darkened, and his eyes flashed with a mix of anger and determination. "Don't you dare say that Oriana!" he roared, his voice shaking the air around them. "Your life is precious. You have a future a bright future with adventures! Don't throw it away!"

Oriana's heart wrenched, but she stood firm. "I'm not going to leave you here to die alone. No matter what."

Whitebeard grabbed her shoulders, his grip firm but not painful. "Look at me, treasure. I've lived my life, and it's been a good one. Your life is just beginning. You have dreams to chase. Don't let my end be your end."

Tears streamed down Oriana's face as she looked into her father's resolute eyes. "But I've only spent ten years with you! That's no way near enough!" she cried, her voice breaking.

Whitebeard pulled her into a tight embrace. "I'll always be with you, in your heart and your memories."

As the father and daughter hugged, Whitebeard lifted Oriana up with surprising gentleness, then suddenly hurled her towards the pirates. "Get her out of here!" the captain ordered, his voice booming over the chaos. He turned back to face the marines, his expression resolute and unyielding.

"No, Dad, no!" Oriana screamed; her voice filled with anguish as she struggled against her commander crewmates holding her back. She reached out desperately towards her father, tears streaming down her face.

"Let me go! I won't leave you!" Oriana pleaded, her heart breaking as she watched Whitebeard standing alone against the tide of enemies.

Her crewmates held her firmly, their own faces etched with sorrow. "We have to follow his orders, Oria. He wants us to survive," Vista said, his voice heavy with emotion. Oriana fought against their grip, her resolve unwavering. "I can't abandon him!" she cried, her voice cracking with pain.

"We can't let his sacrifice be in vain," Namur said, his voice firm yet compassionate. "Please, let me go!" Oriana sobbed; her body wracked with grief. But they didn't release her, understanding the depth of Whitebeard's love for his daughter and the importance of keeping her safe.

Oriana didn't notice the way Ace had stopped watching the captain and burned the marines trying to attack him. He bowed before Whitebeard as a thank you for everything, "I have little need for words, but tell me this, Ace; were you happy to have me as your pops?"

"Of course! And don't worry, pops, I'll take care of Oria after this!" Ace bowed even deeper.

Whitebeard laughed, his eyes filled with a father's pride and sorrow. "This is going to be a very dark time for her. I'm counting on you, son!" he responded, his voice soft yet commanding.

Ace nodded; his heart heavy with the weight of the promise he had just made. "I won't let her down, Pops. I swear it."

Oriana, still struggling against her crewmates, caught sight of Ace and Whitebeard in that moment. The sight of her brother bowing to their father, and the quiet exchange between them, struck her deeply. She stopped resisting for a moment, her breath hitching as she watched the scene unfold.

"Oria, we need to go," one of her crewmates urged gently, pulling her towards the ship. She glanced back at Whitebeard one last time, her heart shattering as she saw him ready to face his final battle, "It's been a long journey. Let's finish this once and for all Navy!"

The pirates started running towards the ships and picked up their injured comrade on their ways.

One of the admirals with magma powers was attacking them, creating chaos and giving Oriana a chance to slip out of the commanders grip. "Oria!" someone shouted after her, but she didn't care. She just ran in the direction of Whitebeard.

As she pushed through the battlefield, dodging attacks and navigating the chaos, Oriana's mind raced.

Reaching closer to Whitebeard, she saw him standing tall, facing off against the oncoming marines and the admiral with unwavering resolve. "Dad!" she called out.

Oriana didn't fully register what was happening behind her until she heard someone yell, "Ace got burned!" She stopped abruptly, her heart pounding, and saw the second commander on the ground with Akainu standing over him. "Ace!" she screamed, her voice breaking as she turned and sprinted towards them.

The admiral, ignoring Ace, leaped over him and charged directly at a defenseless Luffy. Oriana's eyes widened in horror as she realized what was about to happen. "Luffy!" she screamed, desperately willing herself to move faster. But Ace, despite his injuries, was faster. He used his body to shield his younger brother from the deadly attack.

The scene played out in agonizing slow motion for Oriana. She saw Akainu's magma fist strike Ace, the fiery blow piercing through him. "No!" she cried out, her voice filled with anguish as she reached them.

Akainu, looking disappointed that Ace was still alive, prepared to strike again. Oriana's eyes blazed with fury. She quickly turned around and punched Akainu in the face. "You've got some nerve coming back!" she shouted, her voice trembling with rage. The force of her blow sent Akainu flying back a bit.

The admiral steadied himself, a look of cold fury on his face. "Stay out of my way, girl," he growled, his magma fist glowing menacingly.

Oriana stood her ground, her body trembling with emotion. "I won't let you hurt my family," she declared, her voice strong despite the tears streaming down her face. She glanced back at Ace, who was barely conscious, and Luffy, who was in shock but slowly coming to his senses.

"We need to move, now!" Oriana urged, her eyes never leaving Akainu. She saw him coming back towards them, but she remained calm. "Get down, Oria!" she heard and instinctively obeyed, dropping to the ground as Marco and Vista leapt over her, their swords and talons striking Akainu, forcing him to retreat momentarily.

Meanwhile, Oriana took the opportunity to assess Ace's condition. Luffy had caught him in his arms, panic clear in his eyes as he begged his older brother to be okay. Oriana knelt next to Luffy but looked down, too ashamed to face her brothers.

"You're an idiot!" she finally said to Ace.

"I'm sorry I couldn't let you save me," Ace responded weakly. "Of all the ways you could have saved him, why was using your body as a shield an option?" Oriana scolded harshly. "I didn't have time to think," Ace said, his voice barely a whisper.

Luffy looked around desperately, searching for someone who could save their brother. One of their doctors approached but shook his head, indicating that Ace's injuries were beyond his skills.

Tears welled up in Oriana's eyes as she turned to the doctor, a silent plea for a miracle. The doctor shook his head again, grief etched on his face. "Listen to me, Luffy." Ace tried.

"But you promised me, remember?!" Luffy cried out, "You said you'd never die! Isn't that what you told me?!"

Ace's eyes fluttered open one last time, "Yeah, it reminds me of Sabo. If I didn't have a little brother that needed to be taken care of and a stronger big sister, I would've given up. Nobody wanted me, it couldn't be helped," he whispered, his voice trembling.

Oriana leaned her head against her brother's shoulders, helping Luffy hold Ace. "You're such a fool," she muttered, tears streaming down her face. "If you ever see Dadan, give her my regards. Dying makes me miss even her."

Ace gave a weak smile, his face etched with pain. "I know... My only regret is not seeing my siblings complete their dreams. But I'm confident you both can do it. My dream was never about fame... it was about whether I deserved to be born or not."

Oriana could feel the pain in her heart as Ace spoke those words, and she knew it hurt Luffy just as deeply. "Don't leave us, Ace," Oriana whispered, her voice choked with emotion and held him tighter. "We need you... I need you." Luffy's tears fell onto Ace's body.

"I can't even shout anymore. Luffy… Oriana, listen to my words very carefully," Ace said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Tell everyone what I'm about to say. Pops, everyone, and the two of you, Oria, Luffy. I've always been such a hopeless person and the spawn of the devil… Thank you for loving me!"

They felt that Ace's body give up and his lifeless body falling to the side without them realizing it for a few seconds. When their brother's body hit the ground flashbacks from their childhood rung in their ears before all the emotion from before came crashing down of both.

"Ace…" Luffy said in a way that made him seem like a small child again. Oriana looked down and held a hand to her face letting every emotion out. Luffy looked up into the air and yelled out, crying for the world to see.

The pirates had previously gathered around them and watched in disbelieve as their brother in piracy died in front of their eyes, "This can't be happening!" Fossa's cigar fell to the floor.

Oriana noticed Luffy had suddenly started shaking, "Sunshine?" she watched him worryingly. His cries got worse until he suddenly stopped completely worrying people around them. "Hey, Luffy!" she gently shook him and carefully slapped his cheek.

The admiral came to finish the job, "You next Straw-Hat, then I'll end it with you, Winter Blaze!" Oriana quickly turned around to protect her remaining little brother. "I refuse to let you take another brother from me!" she stretched her arms ready to block it, but Marco blocked Akainu's attack.

"I won't let you take their lives! Take Ace's little brother way from here, Jinbei!" Marco said using his blue flames as a protection. "Straw-Hat's survival is Ace's final wish. On behalf of Ace, we will absolutely protect him. If we let him die it'd be the Whitebeard pirates' greatest shame!"

The pirates cheered and Oriana watched the first commander, "Marco…" she felt a few tears drop as she stood up yelling with her crew. She saw her father coming towards them and jumped over the commander and kicked in right into her captain's fist.

Whitebeard punched his head down to the ground with the quake powers. Akainu managed to dodge the next attack and used that chance to blow half of the great pirate's face off. Oriana along with everyone screamed out his name, but the captain wasn't done.

His fist landed by the side of the admiral resulting in Marineford splitting in two, separating the crew from the captain and Akainu falling into it.

The pirates started running towards the ships in order not to waste Whitebeard's sacrifice. Oriana refused to run and could only watch as her father fought the marines alone.

"What's that thing?" someone pointed at the huge giant hiding behind the government building, and other people were standing where the execution platform previously were, "It's the Blackbeard pirates!"

The traitor was laughing down at them, "It's been a while. I'm glad I'll get to see you die, pops!" The marines realized the reason for Blackbeard wanting to join the warlords, which was to break new crewmates out of Impel Down.

Whitebeard got tired of listening and slammed his hand to the side to destroy the platform they were standing on, "You the only one I won't call son, Teach! You broke the iron rule and killed your own crewmate! I will avenge the fourth division commander; Thatch and you will pay with your life!"

Marco was about to fly over to their captain, but he told him not to interfere.

The battle between the two captains started with Blackbeard cancelling out Whitebeard's attack. Their pops quickly realized what to do and used his weapon to cut deep into the traitor's shoulder before grabbing him by the throat and releasing a powerful attack.

Blackbeard cowered back as Whitebeard approached him and called his crew over to attack him.

Oriana's eyes widened in horror as she watched the chaos unfold. She had been quietly observing the battle from the sidelines, but the sight of her father being repeatedly shot was more than she could bear. Without thinking, she ran forward, ready to leap over the gaping hole between her and Whitebeard. "Dad!" she screamed, desperation lacing her voice.

But before she could jump, strong arms held her back. "What are you doing, Marco?!" she yelled, struggling against his grip.

"You can't interfere, little one! This is what Pops wants!" Marco's voice was firm, though tinged with grief as he tried to reason with her.

"STOP IT! DAD!" Oriana's cries grew more frantic as she fought to break free, no longer focused on Marco. Her eyes were locked on her father, who continued to stand tall even as the bullets tore into him. But her pleas fell on deaf ears; the merciless assault on Whitebeard continued.

"Let me go, Marco, please!" Her voice cracked as she broke down, watching helplessly as her father's strength began to wane.

Marco, his heart heavy, pulled her closer, refusing to let her go. He knew what was coming and couldn't allow her to see it. With a pained expression, he gently covered her eyes, shielding her from the sight of their father in his final moments. "You don't need to see this, Oria," he whispered, his own voice trembling.

"Marco!" she sobbed, her struggles growing weaker as the weight of reality crushed her. Her body felt like it was losing all strength, her grief overwhelming every part of her.

"I'm sorry, Oria," Marco said softly, holding her even tighter as she finally collapsed against him, crying uncontrollably. He wanted to protect her from the worst of it, even if it meant being the one to hold her back when all she wanted was to be by her father's side.

As Oriana's tears soaked his shirt, Marco could only offer the comfort of his presence, knowing that nothing he could say or do would ease the pain of losing someone as irreplaceable as Whitebeard.
