"Ssshhhh Branchie it's okay it's not your fault Casey got captured. We'll get her back but at least you're safe and heroic of Casey to use her universe-travelling device to beam you back-" Rocket reassured Branchie as Oreo came in with a worried yet determined look on her furry face. "Casey got captured and nobody told me. We gotta get her back, no telling what those freaky scientists are putting her through." she said feeling her comm seeing an inage of Casey but weak.
O-Oreo help me, as they're doing tests, like cybernetics and not the way Grandpa Herbie does it….
This made them more determined to help, but Rocket's eyes glowed with rage as he along with Groot telepirted to the AIM lab hearing scientists running pkus had scratches on their hands guessing Casey had been putting up quire a fight impressing Rocket but found her unconscious in the cell undoing the shackles as Groot caught her as they telepirted out of there back to their house making Oreo relieved making hot cocoa for her girl.
"Beboop…" Casey said beginning to stir relieved to be surrounded by loved ones.
"It's okay sweetie, you're safe here plus we heard what those goons did to you." Oreo told her helping her sit up noticing she was shaky guessing she was traumatised from being in the AIM lab so the smell of hot chocolate was soothing her.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie said seeibg something on her furry shoulder making Rocket gasp along with Rocket Senior seeing a brand. "P914, what does that mean and why does Rocket look freaked." Oreo asked confused sensing it was bad. "It's a mark of being a lab rat honey." Rocket told her astounding Rocket Senior putting a bandaid on the brand.
"Thanks Rockie as that place was scary. They said about making a weapon." Casey toldhim sniffling.
"Ssshhhh Raccoon Girl, you're safe and brave to go through that, to save Branchie." he told her.
"How is she, as Branchie and Oreo seem to be keeping her calm. Plus the natural treatments Rocke made seem to be helping." Rocket Senior said.
It was later that night and Branchie and Oreo were staying the night, to help Casey get over the trauma she'd just went through but Oreo had pierced her ears wanting to see if Casey's holes were still open only Branchie saw Casey back awayfrom Oreo. "I don't feel like trying that after what happened. Is it okay if we take a rain chexk on that experiment." Casey said, anxiety in her voice. "Sorry Casey but it's cool if you don't wanna try, I'll hold onto these for you." Oreo told her. "That's okay Casey but whatever those guys did to you, they won't try pkus I bet Rocket is talking to Herbert." Oreo said.
"I am Groot." Branchie said making a bracelet out of vines wrapping it around Branchie's furry wrist which was giving positive energy to her making her smile. "Thanks Branchie, it makes me feel better which makes sense." Casey told her making Oreo curious as to what she meant.
"Trees and Groots have relaxation properties which is why hugging them eases stress." Casey told her seeing Branchie smile as she knew Casey loved nature and Groots impressing Oreo and were then making popcorn so they could watch movies.
"Hey girls and impressed you're using a microwave and instead of laser blasts. Rockie and I are stepping out for a bit meaning you guys are alone until we come back." Rocket Senior told them as he and Rocket lect looking at Casey before leaving decidibg not to tell them they were going to Wondergore to talk to Herbert.
