"Rockie, you are a hero, even if others don't…." Casey mumbled as Rocket stormed out of the main room.
They'd been watching the Celebration of Heroes livestream and Starlord had been honoured which made Rocket upset, and hurt which bothered Casey never seeing him like this before but she hadn't been honoured despite being RaccoonGirl only her brother had did many acts of herpism so wanted to do something to cheer him up finding a blank fanvas making an inspirational canvas, to make Rocket feel better getting to work, listening to inspirational music on her headphones impressing Groot as he wanted to cheer Rocketvup plus he'd said things about himself which weren't true. The Galaxy cared about a rocket, Counter-Earth caredabout Rocket, the baby raccoons adored their big, brave father and Casey thought he was the best big bro so Rocket shouldn't feel bad about himself.
Casey smiled writing You Are A Hero on it and drawing many of her brother's acts of heroism to remind him but smiled because it was inspiring to her as being Raccoon Girl and a young but new heroine, she knew sometimes heroism wasn't fame and glory but doing the right thing and standing up for those who couldn't which Rocketvhad told her making her smirk as Rocket was in his messy room which she wanted to organise sometime humming to herself seeing Rocke bring her a snack.
"Rocket will be okay, he just needs a lil time." Rocke told her.
"I guess but I still wanna cheer him up." Casey said. She was finishing her canvas and heading to Rocket's messy room putting the canvas near where he could see it after waking up. "Love you, Rockie." Casey whispered into his ear kissing his furry head before leaving his room going to listen to music on her headphones.
"I am Groot." Groot said shrugging his barky shoulders having a cookie making Rocke smirk at his antics.
A while later, Rocket stirred feeling a bit better but he was surprised seeing a canvas knowing Casey had made it in awe guessing she'd wanted to cheer him up about earlier stretching but was seeing Groot playing video games and Rocke was reading sitting on the couch seeing Rocket awake rubbing sleep from his eyes with his paw hearing Groot ask him, how he was feeling.
"A bit better guys, plus Casey made something that also happened help." Rocket told them.
He walked into Casey's room seeing her asleep on her brd cuddling Bento, her stuffed tenuki kissing her furry head.
"Love you, thanks for the canvas. It helped make me feel better." Rocket whispered to her letting her be.
