Chapter 189: Da Big Apple Part 2: Tooth Problems
Back at Jake Longs home, the young man was just walking in as his father's clients had just arrived, which his father was a business man who helps to advertise products of certain companies that decide to make an account with them and were invited to dinner at his place to seal the deal. He walked into the kitchen where his mother was putting some mushroom caps onto a tray while his little sister, Haley, was in the kitchen helping her get everything finished for dinner.
"Oh Jake, there you are." Jake's mother said. "Hurry and get yourself cleaned up, your father's clients are here. Uh Haley, a little help please?" A second later, Haley changed her head into a pink dragon's head, blowing fire on the mushroom caps and cooking them in an instant before returning to normal. "Whose ready for mushroom caps!?"
His mother and little sister then walked out of the kitchen and went into the main dining area where dinner was taking place in, leaving Jake alone in the kitchen to clean up after having some fun when Fu popped out of the sink, startling Jake before regaining his composure.
"Fu, you know we do have a doggy door." Jake said.
"I didn't have much of a choice here kid." Fu replied, pulling himself out of the sink. "Anyways, where were you kid!?"
"Save it Fu." Jake replied. "Gandpa must be bugging if he thinks I'm going to be cleaning his entire hpuse and-"
"You don't understand!" Fu replied, interrupting him. "You left me, gramps, Spyro, and everyone else on the roof waiting for you! We were sitting ducks out there! When the Huntsman showed up-"
"The Huntsman!?" Jake asked. "Where's everyone now?"
"Look, long story short, it's not looking good for the old man." Fu replied. "He and Spyro are pinned with nets made out of sphynx hair as are Rarity and Fluttershy, Jade and Yang are fighting the Huntsgirl, and Rainbow Dash is getting her butt handed to her by the Huntsman."
"Aw man, this is all my fault." Jake said. "If I had just gone to training like I should have, none of this would have happened."
"Look, we'll do the blame game later." Fu said, getting out of the sink. "We gotta go get help."
"No, this mess is my fault, I gotta fix this." Jake replied.
"Uh, no offense kid, but this is not a dress rehearsal." Fu said. "This is the real deal. It's show time and you haven't even mastered going full dragon yet."
"Oh yeah?" Jake asked. "Dragon up!"
As he said that, flames appeared all over his body, changing him into his dragon form on the first go around, showing Fu that he was ready for the fight.
"Okay, let's fly then kid!" Fu said, climbing onto his back.
Jake then took off into the air and flew out the back door so no one saw him in his dragon form, heading straight for his grandfather's shop to help his friends. Meanwhile on the roof of the repair shop, Spyro, now in his Primitive Dragon armor, was starring at the Huntsman with pure anger in his eyes as he roared at him, ready to destroy him after what he did to Rainbow Dash.
"Master, are you sure you can handle this?" Huntsgirl asked, looking at Spyro. "I think even you might be out of your league here."
"Do not worry Huntsgirl, this will be an excellent challenge." The Huntsman replied, looking at Spyro. "I will deal with him, you make sure no one interferes with us."
The Huntsman then charged towards Spyro ready to fight while Yang and Jade were watching from the sidelines, trying to figure out what they were seeing.
"Uh Jade, what just happened?" Yang asked.
"Got me." Jade replied. "But what I do know is that even the Huntsman is unable to dodge bullets." She then changed one of her shortswords back into a revolver, aiming the revolver at the Huntsman as he charged towards Spyro. "His is for Rainbow Dash you monster."
However, a moment later, the Huntsgirl kicked her gun out of the way, making her fire the revolver away from the Huntsman before flipping Jade around and slamming her on her back.
"Sorry girl, this is a private matter." The Huntsgirl said.
"Hey, the more the merrier!" Yang shouted.
She then tried to punch the Huntsgirl, but she flipped over, dodging the punch and the shotgun blast before landing on the arm and jumping off it, kicking Yang underneath her chin before Jade started firing at her, which the Huntsgirl ducked down and jumped as soon as Jade fired, knocking one of the revolvers out of her hand. Jade tyen switched it into a short sword and swung at the huntsgirl while Yang got back up and joinded the fight. Meanwhile with the Huntsman and Spyro, the slayer was fast approaching him, raising his weapin up as he fired several green energy blasts at him, but the armor ended up absorbing the hits, Spyro roaring out in rage while the Huntsman stopped.
"Oh, your armor is pretty strong dragon." The Huntsman said, his staff glowing. "But not even you can withstand the strength of my conviction to the destruction of all Magical creatures!"
He then swung his weapon, attempting to harm him, but the weapon bounced off the armor, not making a dent as he kept on attacking Spyro as he kept up the attack. However inside of Spyro's mind, he was walking through the halls of the hatchery he was in before, looking around as he observed his surroundings until he reached the room with the pool in it, the golden hatchling looking in the window as she watched the Huntsman attack, dark blue flames surrounding her as she watched.
"He hurt a lot of creatures." The Hatchling said. "He killed them. He killed them all. Many dragons, many."
"I know." Spyro replied, walking up next to the hatchling, even thought the flames were filled with darkness. "Such evil, and he calls us dragons monsters."
"He's a real monster, that I won't deny." Spyro said, watching him attack. "But does giving into rage have to be the answer all the time? You saw what this power can do back in Narnia, how you attacked friend and foe alike. Once you give into rage, there's no going back."
"Yeah, well, sometimes rage is the only answer." The Hatchling replied, the flames getting more intense.
"Kid, calm down." Spyro said, backing away. "There's no need to-"
"They roar out in rage." Tne hatchling said, turning to look at Spyro. "They are in pain, wanting revenge against the one who slayed them and killd their offspring! Like how Malefor smashed the eggs in the temple, killed his own kind for power, it makes me so... so... RAAAAAAGH!"
She then changed into the Primitive Dragon, glarring at Spyro as the flames engulfed him as he yelled in pain, the flames burning him as he tried to fight back. In the real world, the Huntsman was swinging again, but this time, Spyro caught it, looking up at the huntsman and then punching him in the gut, sending him skidding into the low wall of the roof, laughing as he got up.
"Now this is more like it!" The Huntsman shouted, pointing his weapon at Spyro. "A hunt truly worthy of one such as myself. Not even the American Dragon could compete."
"You sure about that?" Jake asked, swooping down and landing on a cage beofre looking at Spyro and recoiling from what he saw. "Wow, dude what's with the creepy armor? I so totally don't dig it."
"The American Dragon." The Huntsman said.
"Finally." Huntsgirl said, tossing Jade into Yang. "I've been looking to settle score with you dragon."
He then reached behind and pulled out her own staff, charging for Jake, but he leapt uo and landed in front of his grandfather as the Huntsgirl's staff glowed, swinging it at the dragon and hit the chimney instead, making it shatter, but also causing some bricks to hit Jake on the head. They kept up the fight while Spyro was fighting with the Huntsman, the hunter backing away as he spun his staff as Spyro unleashed soem flames, making him laugh as he took a battle stance.
"Is that really all you got dragon?" The Huntsman asked. He got his answer when a dark cloud appeared in Spyro's hand, disappearing a second later to reveal a scythe in his right hand, ten diamonds lining up the shaft of the weapon while the blade was completely black, surprising the Huntsman as his eyes widened in surprise before he smiled underneath his mask. "Oh, this hunt is getting more and more interesting by the second."
With Jake and the Huntsgirl, the ninja clothed slayer was getting the upperhand, tossing Jake around before using the staff to eletrocute him, backing him up against the destryed chimney before swinging, but Jake just dodged the attack and kicked her away, causing her to loose her weapon as it skidded towards Spyro, the Huntsman looking to his apprentices battle while Spyro looked down at the weapon and picked it up as Jake thrw a fireball at the Huntsgirl, who dodged the attack and hit the water tower, causing a huge wave of water to hit jake and knock him to the ground.
"Enough!" The Huntsman shouted, aiming the bottom end at Jake. "American dragon, you shall become a pair of boots!"
He then fired the Sphynx hair net at jake, ready to catch him and deprive him of his powers.
"Young dragon, clean toilet bowl!" Lao Shi shouted.
Acting on instinct, Jake's tongue flew out, spinning around like he did when cleaning the toilet.
"First clockwise, then counter clockwise." Jake thought to himself.
When the net got close, his tongue cause the net, spinning it around before reversing the motion, surprising the Huntsman as he ended up caught by the net.
"Hey, it worked!" Jake said.
"Well I'll be a monkey's aunt." Yang said. "The crazy old dragon's trainng actually paid off."
A second later, the Huntsgirl ran towards him, readyt o continue their fight.
"Young one, sweep floor!" Lao shi shouted.
Jake did as instructed, swinging his tail like he was sweeping the floor and knocked the Huntsgirl away, causing her to hit the ground, but she got back up, continuing the fight with Jake as she used Kungfu to fight Jake as he blocked.
"Hey, you're good Huntsgirl." Jake said. She then slugged him in the gut, fallign to the ground, but he then charged, trying to tackle her, but she ran over his back, avoiding the hit as they faced one another again. "Whooh, you're really good."
"You're not so bad yourself dragon boy." The Huntsgirl replied.
They continued their fight as the Huntsman got himself free from the net, getting ready to attack jake, but a red plasma blast flew right by him, forcing him to roll out of the way and look to Spyro, the weapon in his hand as it glowed red before it changed, turning into an actual staff, a vampire bat on the rim of a red orb, the staff dark in color with ten bats going up the shaft of the weapon. Spyro glarred at the Huntsman as Yang and Jade surrounded him, all three glarring at the Huntsman as they got their weapons ready.
"Three against one, now that's not very fair." The Huntsman said.
"Fair?" Spyro asked, his voice taken over by a demonic girls, spooking Yang and jade. "Do you call killing dragons fair? What gives you the right to kill any of our kind!?"
"Spyro..." Jade said, she and Yang backing away.
"Our kind protect and aid those in need." Spyro contonued. "We protect, we defend, we destroy!" The staff then started to glow red as the bats on the staff glowed, the sky above turning dark as the eyes on the pegasi shoulder guard turned red. "Malice! Fear!" The two bats then started to glow, the crystal glowing bright red. "Conclusion two!" He then lifted the staff into the air as a surge of red energy shot into the sky as a pair of massive batwings sprouted out, the massive bat appearing and diving towards the Huntsman and towards Yang and Jade. The Huntsman tried to block the attack while yang and Jade dove for cover to avoid the hit, the massive bat sinking it's talons into the Huntsmans shoulders, making him yell in pain as Huntsgirl and Jake looked at the Huntsman as the bat sunk it's fangs into him, wrapping it's wings around him as it glowed brighter. "Kindness's Fear!"
The bat the exploded, making the Huntsman fly into a nearby billboard as smoke was emitted from the wreckage.
"Huntsmaster!" The Huntsgirl shouted.
Jake wrapped his tail around her glove to try and throw her, but she took it off, running in the direction of her mentor as Spyro glarred at her, seeing her exposed hand and seeing there was some kind of mark on it, making him roar in rage as he charged towards her, but Jake stopped him.
"Hey, yo, yo, chill out man." Jake said as Fu removed the net. "It's over. We won."
However, Spyro grabbed his arm and flipped him over his head, slamming him into the ground while the others watched.
"What the heck was that for!?" Jade shouted. "He's your friend!" However, Spyro roared in rage, turning to them as the scythe turned into a cannon, causing everyone to duck for cover as he fired. "What's wroing with him? I thought he was our friend?"
"Yeah, guess not anymore!" Yang said. She ran at him, Spyro firing his cannon at her, but Yang just fired her shotgun gauntlets to the ground and projected herself into the air, falling back to the ground and punching him as another blast rang out, but it did no damage to him as the kinetic blast was absorbed, leaving Yang shocked by the outcome. "Ok then, now what?"
However, Spyro grabbed her robotic arm, crushing it in an instant as he threw her towards the edge while Jade fired her revolvers, doing nothing as the bullets just bounced off of his armor, Spyro walking towards Jade as she kept firing her weapons.
"Seriously, what is that armor made out of!?" Jade asked. "My bullets should have punched through that stuff by now!" She kept firing, trying to find a weak spot, but got nothing. "Alright, then let's try this!"
She then flipped the cylinder around until it reached the snowflake, pointing the revolver at Spyro and firing a frost shot, but he just dodged it by leaning far right, the bullet just missing the Huntsman and the Huntsgirl as she carried her mentor away.
"This dragon is far more formidable than I expected." The Huntsman said. "But fear not Huntsgirl, sooner or later, his hide will be mine."
They then escaped as Spyro approached Jade, who fired another frost round, but he grabbed the bullet and threw it back at her, the ammo hitting the ground as it trapped her in the ice. He approached her to finish her off, but Jake and Lao Shi grabbed hold of him, trying to restrain him.
"Spyro, dude, what's wrong with you!?" Jake asked, trying to pin his arms. "Why are you going all whack on us yo!?"
"He's lost himself to some kind of dark power!" Lao Shi said, sensing the darkness. "It's taken control of him! He's not doing this of his own free will!"
A moment later, Spyro freed himself and tossed Jake aside, grabbing Lao Shi by the tail and smacking him across the ground before throwing him onto the chimney, knocking him out as he reverted back to his human form. The cannon then turned back into a scythe as he approached the unconcious man, ready to finish him off as Jake got back up.
"Gramps, no!" Jake shouted.
He jumped for Spyro to try and tackle him, but he turned around and slashed at him, hitting his arm and making him fall to the ground as Spyro stood over him, raising the scythe to finish him, however, as he did, the eyes of the Pegasi shoulder guard started to glow blue, making Spyro roar out in pain as the left side started to flicker a bit, making him fall to the ground. Inside of Spyro's heart, Spyro was trying to break free so he could help his friends, trying to fight through the flames, but was too weak, not being able to fight through them as the dragon continued to fight, getting ready to finsih Jake off. However, as it got ready to finish the fight, Fluttershy came walking in, the dragon not noticing her as she walked in.
"Um... excuse me." Fluttershy said quietly, which the dragon heard her and turned around to look at her. "Oh good, you heard me. Listen, i know you're angry and all, but... could you, maybe, probably, pretty please stop attacking my friends? They did nothing wrong." The dragon roared out, reaching a claw to grab her, but Fluttershy eeped, ducking as it tried to grab her, Fluttershy looking annoyed as she flew up to it. "Looky here missy, I don't care how big or scary you are, you do not, repeat, you do not hurt my friends!" As she shouted, she bave the dragont he Stare, whicn it tried to be intimidating and scare her, but it felt scared instead, it's powers weakening as Fluttershy stared at it. "Now you listen to me! You're going to stop attacking my friends, give Spyro back his body, and stop being an absolute meanie! You understand me!?"
But as she shouted, the dragon started to shrink, loosing it's strength as tears rolled down her cheeks, started to cry as she turned back into a hatchling, surprising Fluttershy when she did.
"I'm sorry!" The hatchling said, crying. "I'm so, so sorry!"
"Oh my goodness." Fluttershy said. "You... you're a..."
"A kid." Spyro replied, getting up. "A very angry and scared little kid."
"But... but what's a kid doing here?" Fluttershy asked. "What's going on Spyro?"
"I don't know myself, but what I do know is that this kid is connected to that dragon." Spyro replied, looking at her as she cried. He wanted to feel angry with her, knowing how much pain she has caused, but he felt bad for her, walking over and kneeling down, stroking her back as he smiled. "There there now, no need to cry kid. Dry those tears."
"But... but I'm bad!" The hatchlingsaid. "I'm... I'm evil!"
"No, no of course you're not." Fluttershy said. "You're not evil. You're-"
"Leave me alone!" The hatchling shouted.
A moment later, both Spyro and Fluttershy were pulled out of the room, being pulled towards the hallway and through it as a light shined out. A moment later, Spyro roared in pain, but then suddenly stopped, collapsing to the ground and returning to normal, seperating from Rarity and Fluttershy as they lied on the ground, all three unconcious for a bit before stirring awake and sitting up.
"Ugh, my head." Spyro said, realizing where he was before looking to Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow!" He rushed over to his friend, kneeling down over her as Rarity and Flutterhsy sat up, kneeling over her as he felt his heart sink. "Rainbow..." He turned her over to see how bad the wound was, only to find she was still alive and breathing, coughing a bit and relieving everyone. "Rainbow... you're alive!"
"Ugh, of course I'm alive." Rainbow Dash said. "What, you thought I would punch out without..." Spyro then hugged her, catching her off guard as her eyes widened in surprise, looking to everyone else as they looked at them, feeling her face turn red. "Alright man, I get it, you're happy to see me. Now, can you please stop?"
"But how?" Jade asked. "He shot you point blank in the chest."
"Heh, I got my armor to thank for that." Rainbow Dash said, lifting her shirt to reveal her armor. "Spyro made it. It's completely indestructible."
"I'm glad you're alright Ms. Dash." Lao Shi said. "But my young friend, what was it that came over you?"
"I... I don't know." Spyro replied. "It only ever happens when I get angry."
"Interesting." Lao Shi said.
"What does this mean gramps?" Jake asked.
"I do not know." Lao Shi replied. "I will need to discuss this with the Dragon council. For now, I suggest you get some rest young dragon. I will see what I can find out about what our friend has while I look for this Keyhole."
He then left everyone alone on the roof as Spyro helped Rainbow Dash up and walked over to the rest of the group stood ont he roof, looking to Spyro when he noticed Yangs arm.
"Yang, your arm." Spyro said, which she covered up.
"Ah, it's nothing." Yang replied.
"Nothing my butt, that arm looks bad." Spyro said. "Here, let me have a look." He knelt down and saw that the mechanical arm was completely crushed. "Eh, this thing is a bust. It's completely crushed."
"Now what?" Jade asked. "We can't have Yang go around with only one arm."
"Hey, I broke it, I buy it." Spyro repleid. "I'll make a new arm for ya Yang."
"Wait, for real?" Yang asked. "You can do that?"
"He can do anything." Rainbow Dash replied. "He can probably make you a new arm in an instant."
"Well, thanks." Yang replied. "I appreciate it."
"Unfortunately you can't do that tomorrow." Fu said. "We got a game tomorrow with a few friends and we don't want to be disturbed."
"That's alright." Spyro replied. "I got all the things I need to make the arm. I just need to go get them. Should take only a few hours or so to make and finish. Any special features you want in it?"
"Nothing in particular." Yang replied. "I just need it to where it can atleast take a punch and deal a punch without breaking under the pressure."
"Done." Spyro replied. "Now all I need is a place to build it without any kind of distractions or anything that will damage any of the components."
"Oh, you could stay at my place and do that." Jake said. "My parents will be out tomorrow night and you can start on that thing while they're out and Gramps has his game. I gotta babysit my little sister anyway, so it's a win-win!"
"Hmm, that might actually work." Spyro said. "But are you sure it's alright with your folks?"
"No harm in asking." Jake replied. Jake went back to his home, walking in and finding his father geting ready for his date tomorrow night with his mother, walking over to him as he got ready. "Hey dad, would it be alright if I ask a few friends over? They got some work they need to do and their crib is... being redone."
"Ah, ah, ah, sorry Jake, you know the rules." His father said. "No strangers in the house."
"Oh now honey, what's the harm in a few extra eyes for tomorrow night?" His mother asked.
"Well, Alright, I suppose it wouldn't hurt." Jakes father replied.
"Thanks dad!" Jake said, hugginh his father. "You the man!"
Jake then ended the hug and went to the living room and laid on the couch, turning on the TV to watch something as his sister haley walked in, singing happily as she skipped long.
"Hey Jake, guess what!?" Haley asked excitedly, showing him her report card. "I got all A's on my report card!"
"Yeah, that's great Haley." Jake replied. "Can you move please? You're blokcing the TV."
"And that's not all!" Haley said, showing him his old report card. "I found your old report card when you were my age. C, C, C, C-, D! I'm going to hang them both on the fridge. I'd offer you some of my Lollipop, but you already have four cavities! What's it like having a cavaty?"
She then bit into her Lollipop, but when she did, she screamed in pain, make Jake recoil and raise his hands in defense.
"I didn't do anything!" Jake exclaimed in fear.
"Haley, what's wrong!?" Jakes mother asked, running in.
"What's wrong Haley who?" Jakes father asked.
"My tooth!" Haley replied, wiggling it. "It's all wiggly!"
"Oh, your first loose tooth!" Jakes mom said. "Finally! Oh, I got to get the camera!"
She then ran into the kitchen to get the camera, Jake relaxing as he realized he wasn't in trouble while his father knelt down to talk with Haley.
"You know Haley, when that tooth falls out, the Magical tooth Fairy will come visit you while you sleep and leave a dollar underneath your pillow." The father said.
"A dollar!?" Haley asked in excitement. "Um, is that open for negitiation?"
Haley smiled to reveal her tooth, which had changed into a dragon fang, even though her father didn't notice, but elsewhere, in a warehouse within the city, a monitor had a light that was blinking, revealing the location of a loose tooth. The inside of the room looked like the inside of a persons mouth, except it has teeth dangling on the roof that shined out light while in the center of the room was a console and on it was thre Tooth Fairy, who had blonde hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a blue dress with a bandana that looked like someone's pearly whites on her head, holding a hind that had a tooth on the end of it and the fairy flew into the air, looking at the monitor as she cheered with glee.
"Oh a dragon's tooth." The Tooth Fairy said. "How Dela-la-la-la-la-lightful! Ah, it's moments like these that make me glad to be the Tooth fairy." She then flew to the console and pressed the intercom button to get some's attention. "Dr. Diente, could you pretty, pretty please bring me a cup of dandelion tea? I feel like celebrating!" However there wasn't an answer, which seemed odd to her as she pressed the button again to get his attention. "Dr. Diente?"
However, a moment later, a man wrapped his hand over her mouth, holding her as her assistant, Dr. Diente, who was wearing a blue surgical outfit and taking her wand.
"Sorry boss, but it's my turn to celebrate." Dr. Diente said, holding the wand. "Now, what was your idiotic command for this thing? On yes, abra ka dental!" A moment later, a yellow aura appeared over the tooth and fire itno the cubbies, making teeth fly into the air and land on the ground, turning into golems made out of teeth with glowwing red eyes. "Take her away."
"Take me where!?" The Tooth Fairy asked, getting thrown to the tooth golems and getting carried away. "Unhand me this minute! You can't do this to me! HELP!"
"Now, my little dragon fanged friend..." Dr. Diente said as he pulled up Haley's location. "I've been waiting for you for a long time."
The next morning, Jake got up and made his way to the kitchen, which Haley and his father were having breakfast, which the little sister was messing with her tooth as it was bugging her.
"Now haley, you need to leave your tooth alone." The father said.
"But it's bugging me daddy." Haley said, wiggling it.
"Now honeybun, the tooth will fall out on it's own when the time comes." The father said.
"Besides honey, you won't get that tooth out just by pulling it." The mother said.
"Oh, I know mommy." Haley said. "It's not a regular tooth. It's a dra-"
"Yes, it is a drag isn't it?" The mother asked, covering her daughters mouth so she wouldn't reveal their secret. "To have such a stubborn tooth. Don't worry, it will fall out on it's own in time."
"And you just let me know when it does so I can put in a call to the Tooth Fairy!" The father said.
Jake just rolled his eyes as their father left, grabbing a slice of toast to eat, but Haley used her dragon breath, turning it to ask while Jake glared at her.
"I toated it for you." Haley said with a sly grin on her face.
"Haley you little-!" Jake
"Jake, be patient with her." The mother said. "She's still learning."
"But why the heck does she have dragon powers already!?" Jake asked. "I literally had to wait until I was thirteen to get mine!"
"Well, girls mature faster than boys." The mother said.
"Do they also get better grades than boys mommy?" Haley asked, pointing to the fridge with the two seperate report cards.
This got under Jakes skin, skipping to the afternoon where school was getting out as Jake was walking with his friends, annoyed with Haley.
"Mommy, do girls get better grades than boys do?" Jake asked, impersonating Haley. "Man she think's she's so perfect! Yeah, perfect at wrecking life."
"Yo, peep game Jake." Trixie said. "Besides, Spud and I have something that will cheer you up big time."
"Yeah, check it!" Spud said, revealing three tickets. "Trixie hooked up up with three tickets to the Hip Hop Video awards tonight!"
"Yeah, my cousin Lawanda plays volleyball with the guy who brings bagels to the girls who are running the sound check."
"And for the grand finale, Shaniqua Chulavista will be singing her new hit single, 'Baby, Don't be Frontin'." Spud added.
"Wait, as in the Shaniqua!?" Jake asked excitedly. "In person!? Outside of my dreams!? Yo, sign me... oh wait, I can't."
"What, why not!?" Trixie asked.
"I got to babysit my little sister tonight." Jake replied. "It's date night for my folks."
"What!?" Trixie asked. "Dog, your parents must be trippin'! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!"
"Yeah, if you miss this, you'll be so full of regret, like you'll be an old man and be so old and filled with regret and all that."
"I'm sorry, I made a promise." Jake replied, walking away as Trixie gave him the ticket.
"Here, just in case you find a way to sneak out or find someone else who'll babysit her." Trixie said.
Jake then walked out of the school building, leaving his friends behind as he walked back to his house, his head hung low as Spyro and his friends approached him.
"Hey Jake." Spyro said.
"Oh, hey Spyro." Jake said, walking past him, which they followed.
"Hey Jake, what's wrong?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"My best buds informed me that my favorite hip hop singer, Shaniqua Chulavista will be performing at the Hip Hop Video awards tonight." Jake replied. "And I'm stuck babysitting Haley, meaning I'm going to miss it."
"Well, why don't you take your sister with you?" Jade asked.
"We would need a fourth ticket for that." Jake replied. "Trixie's cousin only gave us three."
"Oh, you poor thing." Fluttershy said, hugging him. "If it makes you feel better, you're a good brother to be taking care of your sister."
"Pfft, you mean Ms. Little perfect?" Jake asked, walking away.
They looked at the kid, seeing how disappointed he was to be missing the chance to be seeing his top idol as they walked after him. They soon came to his house, where Lao Shi and Fu were setting up a Chinese wind chime on the side of the door, chanting something as he finished setting it up.
"Hey Lao Shi." Spyro said as they approached. "Was that a spell you were casting?"
"You'd be right my young friend." Lao Shi replied. "We are doing some Spiritual House Maintenance. Re-enacting an ancient spell to protect the house from unwanted magical visitors."
"Why, is there going to be trouble?" Jake asked. "You know I can just dragon on up and kick some-"
"Wow, wow, wow, calm down there kid." Fu said. "It's just standard procedure. Trust me, if there was any trouble going down in the city, we'd know about it."
"Jake, there you are." Jake's mother said, walking up to him. "Oh, and these must be your friends."
"They are mom." Jake replied. "This is Spyro and his friends, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbiow Dash, Jade, and Yang."
"Well, it's nice to meet you all." The mother said, looking at them. "You're... kinda old to be in middle school, aren't you?"
"Oh, we're not middle schoolers." Spyro replied.
"Yeah, we graduated long ago." Rainbow said.
"Weren't you kicked out of flight school when you were just a filly Rainbow dear?" Rarity asked, making her grumble.
"Filly?" The mother asked.
"We'll explain inside." Spyro said. "Come on, we have a lot to discuss."
They walked into the house while Lao Shi and Fu left to return to the shop so they can get ready to get their game started, but elsewhere, the Tooth Fairy was being tied up using dental floss, her assistant carrying over a pot and some dirt while his minions tied her up.
"Day after day, i had to sit by and watch you misuse your powers." Dr. Diente said. "You basically have unlimited access to every house in the world, but instead of taking money, you leave it instead? That's not a very good business model now is it!?"
"Shamey, Shamey, shame on you Dr. Diente." The Tooth Fairy said. "Whatever you're up to, no good is going to come of it!"
"Good!?" Diente said, almost laughing as he walked over tot he pot and put dirt into it. "What makes you think there's going to be anything good about it!? I have bidded my time, taking teeth from your stash of teeth just to build my armo of tooth minions!? Watching you give away millions in dimes, quarters and dollars to ungrateful, grimy little brats! Night after night after night after night!"
"You'll never get away with this!" Tooth fairy said as she tried to break free.
"Oh yeah?" Diente said, walking to the monitor. "Oh, I think I will. You see, I only need a single dragons tooth to unlock the powers they hold. Now, let's see who the little brat is." A moment later the monitor showed Haley with a description that said 'Straight A Student'. "Oh, Haley long."
"No!" The Tooth Fairy said, making Diente look at her. "You leave her alone, you hear! That little girl is as precious as a butterfly perched on a freshly bloomed-"
A-pa-pa-da-da-pa-pa!" The evil doctor said, interrupting her. "Minions, dump her in Jersey."
One of the minions then ripped the chair out, carrying her outside as she screamed for help. Meanwhile at the house, Spyro was working on the arm, getting the frame taking care of while also laying out the the components and wiring as Mr. long came in and saw everything.
"Oh, what you got there?" Mr. Long asked.
"Just something I'm working on for Yang." Spyro said, looking to her as they saw her sitting on the couch while Fluttershy and Rarity played with Haley. "I'm working on making her a new prostetic arm afte rthe old one got destroyed."
"Oh, you're a good man." Mr. Long said, looking at the metal. "Hey, never saw this kind of metal before."
"It's special." Spyro said, grabbing it before Mr. Long could mess with it. "Trust me, you do not want to be on the recieving end of this stuff when it's charged with enough kinetic energy. It can be quite deadly."
A second later, they heard the horn of the Taxi outside, everyone running to the door and waved Mr. And Mrs. long good by while Jake sat on the stairs, looking sad as they left.
"Have fun everyone!" Mrs. long said, waving to them.
"Bye!" Haley said, waving back while Jake looked disappointed. "Sorry you have to babysit me and miss out on your once in a lifetime opportunity."
"Yeah, it's a real style cramper." Jake said, getting up.
"Hey, I got it!" Haley said, getting hsi attention. "How about you go to the awards while your friends watch me."
"Wait, for real?" Jake asked, looking to the others. "You sure you'll be alright here with them?"
"Come on Jake, with six pairs of eyes keeping an eye on her, what could go wrong?" Rainbow Dash asked, the world pausing as Spyro looked to the reader.
"I really wish she hadn't said that." Spyro said as the world resumed.
"Gee, thanks Haley!" Jake said, hugging her. "You're the best!"
He then ran inside while everyone else walked in, the bad doctor outside observing them as he smiled.
"Tooth minions, nows the time!" Dr. Diente said. "Seize the little girl, eliminate the others!" The minions then ran towards the house to get Haley, but as they ran, the chimes started to make music as a barrier appeared around the house, the minions shattering on impact, surprising the evil dentist. "It's... some kind of shield. Minions, retreat!"
The minions reformed themselves and retreated, returning to the alleyway as Spyro looked out the window, having sensed that something was wrong, but saw nothing. A moment later, Jake came down with his skateboard and helmet, but stopped at the door and turned to everyone.
"Alright guys, Haley follows a tight sleep schedule." Jake said. "Have her in bed by nine and read her a bedtime story to help her fall asleep."
"Nah, I like lullabies!" Haley said. "Stories are for babies!"
"Heh, that's what they all say." Spyro said as jake ran out and put his board ont he ground.
"I'll be by every half hour to see how things are going!" Jake said as he put his helmet on. "I'll be back before ten. Hopefully."
"Hey, don;t sweat it kid." Yang said. "I have a little sister of my own. We got this."
"Thay goes double for me." Rarity said.
"Triple for me." Spyro said. "We know what we're doing."
"Yeah, they got this." Jake said. "With gramps magical mojo and my friends and their fighting abilities, what could go wrong?"
A second later, the world paused again, Spyro looking to the reader as he looked annoyed.
"Ok, once, that's bad enough, but twice!?" Spyro asked. "Now I know something bad is about to happen."
He then rolled along the side walk on his skateboard, but little did he know, Dr. Diente was on the stairs of the neighboring house, coming up as he overheard what jake said and smiled.
"Ah, so that's it." Diente said. "Some sort of spell." He then looked over to Jakes friends, seeing them as they went inside. "And those guys know how to fight huh? That could prove troublesome. But sooner or later, she will have to come out and when she does, that's when I'll be making my move."
Inside of the house, Spyro was in the kitchen, having already gotten to work on making Yangs new arm with her and Jade in the room with him while Rarity and Fluttershy sat with Haley, watching the TV while Rainbow Dash tried to find something to keep herself entertained, finding a ball and bouncing it on the wall as they sat.
"Hey, would you guys like to see my loose tooth?" Haley asked, showing her tooth to Fluttershy.
"Oh my, it's lovely." Fluttershy said.
"Thanks!" Haley said. "I brush twice a day, flossing as I get home, but Jake rarely does that."
"Yo, look at the size of that tooth!" Rainbow Dash said, looking at it. "That's one heck of a dragon fang you have there."
"You know I'm a dragon!?" Haley asked in shock.
"Of course Haley darling." Rarity replied. "Jake told us his family was a family of dragons. Well, except for your father."
"But... that's meant to be secret!" Haley said.
"Not to us it is." Spyro said, walking in.
He then changed his head into a dragon head, surprisng her.
"You're a dragon as well!?" Haley asked excitedly. "Is everyone here a dragon!?"
"No, just me." Spyro replied. "Rarity is actually a unicorn and Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy there are Pegasi."
"Wow!" Haley said, looking to Yang and Jade. "Are they dragons!?"
"Nah, we're just regulat humans, that's all." Jade replied. "Though I'm a bit more level headed than Yang here."
Yang then hit Jade on the arm, the both of them laughing at the exchange while Spyro looked at the tooth, giving it a slight tug to see how loose it is.
"Hmm, looks like it'll come out any day now." Spyro said. "Gotta be worth a good chunk of change with how big it is."
"Yeah, my dad said that when it comes out, I can put it underneath my pillow and the toothfairy will bring me a dollar." Haley said.
"Wait, that's it?" Spyro asked. "Just one buck? Kid, that fang is easily worth a hundred with how big it is. Probably more on the Magical Black Market."
"So what are we waiting for!?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Let's yank that bad boy out and have it ready for the tooth Fairy when she get's here!"
"But my dad said I had to wait until it falls out on it's own." Haley said.
"Yeah Rainbow, she needs to wait." Spyro said. "Besides, dragons teeth are-"
"Pfft, parents allways say you need to wait for it to come out." Rainbow Dash said. "You want this thing out right now?"
"Yeah." Haley said. "Besides, it keeps bugging me."
"Then let's get this sucker out now." Rainbow Dash said, pulling out a hankerchief.
"Oh boy, here we go." Spryo said as the world paused and he looked to the readers. "You remember what I said about something going wrong? Well, this is it."
Rainbow Dash then reached in and grabbed Haley's tooth, yanking on it as hard as she could, but fell backwards, Yang shaking her head as she walked over.
"Here, let me show you how it's done." Yang said. She then reached in and started to pull, almost yanking Haley off the couch if Rarity and Fluttershy didn't grab her as Yang yanked on it. "Geez, what's with these roots!?"
A moment later, she slipped and fell backwards, hitting the wall and leaving a dent in the wall while Spyro just face smacked himself, knowing where this was going.
"Wow, that's one tough tooth." Jade said.
"yeah, because it's not easy to yank dragon's teeth out of a dragons mouth." Spyro said. "You either have to break them off from their roots, cut them out, or in my case, have them punched out of your mouth."
"Oh, I got an idea!" Rainbow Dash said. "Follow me!"
She then ran pustairs with haley close behind, the others looking to Spyro to figure out what to do.
"Might as well go with her." Spyro said. "Make sure ntohing bad happens to the kid. Otherwise we'd never hear the end of it."
Rarity and Fluttershy got up and ran after Rainbow Dash and Haley while Jade and Yang stayed with Spyro as he walked back into the kitchen to keep on working on the arm.
"You really think they'll get the tooth out?" Jade asked.
"With it being a dragon's tooth, no way they're getting it out until it comes out." Spyro said as he worked on the arm.
In the upstairs bathroom, Rainbwo Dash was tying some dental floss around Haley's loose tooth and around the door knob of the bathroom door, Rarity and Fluttershy watching worriedly.
"Uh, are you sure this is such a good idea Rainbow darling?" Rarity asked.
"Yeah, this doesn't seem very safe." Fluttershy said.
"Trust me, works everytime." Rainbow Dash said. "When I yank on the door really fast, it'll pull that bad boy out of there in an instant. You ready Haley?"
"Ready." Haley replied.
"Alright, one... two... three!" Rainbow Dash said.
She then yanked on the door, slamming it shut, but when she did, the door fell inwards, surpring everyone as they looked at the rainbow haired pegasi turned human.
"Oh yeah, it worked very well, now didn't it?" Rarity asked.
"Ok, no need to rub it in my face." Rainbow Dash said. "Besides, I got another idea that's sure to work."
They then ran downstaris to enact her second plan, which Rainbow Dash got Haley into a Hockey player outfit with a helmet and everything while Rainbow Dash tied the other end of the string onto the ceiling fan, walking over to the switch to get it ready.
"Ok, Rainbow, there is no way this is going to work." Spyro said, looking in. "You're going to end up breaking something."
"Trust me, this is sure to work." Rainbow Dash said. "You ready Haley?"
"Let her rip!" She replied.
Rainbow Dash then turn the fan on, which it started to move at max speed, but it ended up lifting Haley off the ground and spun her around, crashing into Rainbow Dash as they both ended up twirling around in the air before being flung into the couch with the ceiling fan crashing on top of the coffee table, everyone's eyes wide in terror while Spyro just covered his eyes, shaking his head as he knew something like that was going to happen.
"Oh we are in so much trouble." Jade said.
"Yeah, no kidding." Spyro said, walking in. "Good thing I know a repair spell that will fix all of this."
"Well, that was a bust." Rainbow Dash said. "But hey, I got a couple more idea on how to get that tooth out."
"NO!" They all shouted, shooting her down.
"Look, you can;t yank a dragons tooth out by force." Spyro said. "They need to fall out naturally. And that takes time."
"But I want to get me tooth out no... now... now..." Haley said.
She was oncorting her face, looking like she was about to sneeze and when she did, a huge fireball came out of her mouth, which Spyro dodged, but it ended up hitting the Rainbow Dash, setting her hair on fire.
"Ah, get it off!" Rainbow Dash shouted, zooming around. "Get it off! Get it off!"
"Hold on Rainbow, I got this!" Spyro said.
"Hold on, I saw a fire extinguisher!" Jade said.
She rushed in and grabbed the extinguisher, pointing it, but unable to get a clear shot as Spyro's hands were emiting freezing cold mist, firing a freeze ray to try and put the flames out while Jade opened up using the fire extinguisher, but missed, hitting the lamp and breakign it as Spyro tried to hit Rainow Dash, the ray leaving behind clusters of spiked ice, which they were causing more damage than they should. Jade got in front of Rainbow Dash and used the extinguisher, putting the flames out as Rainbow Dash wiped the foam off her head, looking annoyed.
"Kid, when you have the need to sneeze, do it outside, ok?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"What the heck is going on!?" Jake asked, coming home to check on them.
"Haley's tooth was bugging her." Jade said.
"My home!" Jake said.
"Relax, I got this." Spyro said. he then tapped his foot on the ground, which a purple circle of magic appeared and expended outward, lifting his hands as it turned green and time reversed, the damage that was done disappearing as everything returned to normal, everyone looking at Spyro. "There, all done."
"Wow, how'd you do that?" Jake asked.
"Time magic." Spyro replied. "Whatever happens within the last six minutes can be reversed without any interference or damage done to the Space time continuum."
"Dude, you got to teach me that!" Jake said as his watch went off. "Oh, I got to get back. The next song is about to start."
"Don't worry Jake, we got this." Spyro said as he left. "Now girls, why don't you... wait, where's Haley?"
They looked around to figure out where she was, not realizing that she went outside with a hokey stick and a puck, putting it on te sidewalk and holding the stick to the puck.
"Hokey players usually loose their teeth when they play." Haley said, holding the stick to the puck. "So, maybe this will help me get my tooth out."
"It's the dragon." Dr. Diente said as quietly as he could to not alert Haley. "Get her minions!" The tooth minions then got out of hiding and went after Haley, but the girl hit the puck and it then hit the mailbox, ricocheting off it and hitting the minions all at once, turning them back into piles of teeth and surprising Diente. "Nice hit."
"Haley, there you are." Spyro said, walking down the stairs. "What are you doing out here?"
"Trying to knock my tooth out so the Tooth Fairy can give me the hundred dollars." Haley replied.
"Ugh, ad ī nostar." Spyro said. "Haley, it's dangerous being out here at night. Come inside where it's safe."
"Ok then!" Haley replied happily.
She walked up the stairs to get back inside, but as they walked in, Spyro could sense a great disturbance in the Force, looking to the hiding spot where Diente was at, knowing something was off as they went back inside.
"That one's going to be trouble." Diente said. "He knew I was here. But how?"
"Prbably because he's Force sensative." A voice said.
Diente looked to the source of the voice, seeing Xigbar leaning on the railing as he examined his weapon.
"And who are you?" Diente asked.
"I'm Xigbar." He replied. "And I have a way to get that dragon out of her home and to keep her little bodyguards busy."
Meanwhile in the house, Spyro was continuing his work on the arm, making progress with it's construction while also checking int the living room to see what it was the others were up to, one thing in which was they gave Haley a caramel apple, pulling on it to try and get the tooth out, but it ende dup stretching, not having any luck as she went flying into Yang and Rainbow Dash, getting caramel all over themselves while Jade just laughed and had the apple thrown to her head and getting stuck in her hair. Another thing they tried was getting a stray dog and tying the string around it's tail, throwing a bone as it rn for it, but it ended up dragging Haley along and they had to go get her back. They kept on trying a few other things to try and get the tooth to come out, but nothing worked, everyone exhausted after trying so many different ways to get the tooth to fall out fo the mouth with no success on anything.
"Ok... I'm officially out of ideas." Rainbow dash said. "Somepony else have an idea?"
"I'm afraid I've exhausted all of my ideas Rainbow darling." Rarity said.
"Girls, you still in the living room?" Spyro asked.
"Yeah, right here." Rainbow Dash said.
"Good because I got Yangs arm all finished." Spyro said, walking in with a arm that was painted gold and black, everyone looking at it in amazement.
"Hey, that looks amazing!" Yang said, walking over.
"Here, let me put it on." Spyro said.
Yang lifted up her stump and Spyro put it on her, pressing a few buttons as it stuck on Yang, which it then made some sounds before activating as it connected to Yangs nervous system, the young warrior, trying it out as she twisted the wrist and gave it a go.
"Kinda restrictive, don't you think?" Yang asked.
"Hmm, calibration must be off." Spyro said. "Here, let me make a few adjustments." He walked over and opened a panel, making some modifications on it before closing the panel. "Alright, try it now."
Yang twisted the wrist again, finding it was much better than it was before as she gave it a test run, swinging it around several times before smiling.
"Oh yeah, much better." Yang said. "You sure this thing won't break like my last one?"
"Trust me, that sucker is made out of Beskar and Vibranium." Spyro replied. "No way that thing's going to break. It can withstand 2,300 degrees Celsius and can absorb Kinetic energy, allowing for you to redistribute it as you see fit."
"Oh heck yeah!" Yang shouted. "Now that's what I'm talking about!"
"Guys, guys, guess what!" Jake shouted, running in. "You won't believe the stroke of luck I had tonight!"
"What's up bud?" Rainbow Dash asked.
Jake reached into his pocket and then pulled out a large stack of tickets, showing it to them.
"I managed to score seven extra tickets for the Hip Hop Video awards!" Jake said. "I won some kind of raffle and got seven extra tickets for Shaniqua's section of the show!"
"Wow, wow, wow, hold on there Jake." Spyro said. "Raffles like that are usually a scam."
"Who cares, I had the theater guys check these things out, they're legit!" Jake said. "This way you guy can come to the show and Haley can come too!"
"Yay, I love Shaniqua!" Haley shouted. "Let's go!"
She and jake then ran out of the house, but Spyro remained in the building with everyone else as they looked at one another.
"Darling, what are the odds tht this happened by random?" Rarity asked.
"Slim to none." Spyro replied. "Usually stuff like that to happen, it's gotta be a scam. Or a trick." A moment later, as jake and Haley were riding away from the house, a whole bunch of tooth minions ran after them, chasing the kids as they rode away. "And it looks like it's answer B, it's a blody trick."
"What the heck are those things?" Jade asked.
"A walking, growling pile of cavaties, that's what." Spyro replied. "Come on, we need to catch up!"
They all ran after Jake and Haley to make sure their friends were safe and sound and that no harm came to them. As for Jake and Haley, jake was cruising along with Haley holding onto him, both wearing helmets as they continued on, but then jake heard something, stopping and looking back to see what was there, but it was too dark for him to see clearly, squinting his eyes to see better.
"Eye of the dragon." Jake said as his eyes glowed.
When his eyes changed to dragon eyes, he could see within the darkness, seeing the tooth minions.
"Jake, what's wrong?" Haley asked.
"Trouble." Jake replied. "Alright whoever or whatever you are, bring it!" A moment later, Dr. Diente came walking out of the darkness as his tooth minions came out, pointing the wand to order the minions to attack them as Jake cracked his knuckles. "Oh, you guys are going to be sorry that you're keeping me from the show."
"Uh, maybe we should have stayed home tonight." Haley said.
"Don't worry Haley, I know what I'm doing." Jake said, lifting Haley up and putting her on the top ledge of a wall. "Stay put and don;t do any dragon stuff. Leave this to me." She then leapt over one of the minions, kicking it and destroying the minion before landing on his feet, smiling as he looked to them. "Dragon up!"
he then changed into his dragon form as more minions came at him, which he kicked a trashcan up and towards the minions to smash several more of them in one hit.
"Yay Jake!" Haley cheered.
"Oh yeah, alright!" Jake said, doing a victory dance. "Oh yeah, you know it! Ain't nothing but a chicken wing!" However, they reformed themselves back into their minion forms, attacking Jake, but he flipped one over, sending it into the dumpster, which Haley lifted the lid as it smashed into the lid. Jake then sent two more into the same dumpster, the teeth fallign into it as Haley slammed the lid shut as Jake spun around, smashing more of the minions with little to no effort as he spun into a clothes line, getting spun back out into the alleyway they were in, but was now wearing a pink shirt with a heart on it. "Oh yeah, how you like me now you freaky tooth freaks!?"
"Uh Jake, you're wearing ladies underwear." Haley said.
He looked down and gave a nervous chuckle, removing the shirt as the tooth minions came back up, even popping out of the dumpster as Haley screamed.
"Geez, what's it going to take to keep you down!?" Jake asked.
"How about a little of this!" Spyro shouted.
Jake looked up and saw the Keyblade spinning towards the minions as it slashed through them, destroying several of them at the same time as Spyro landed on the ground, his own wings out while Yang came down, landing on the ground and causing a shockwave as her hair was waving and crackling like it was fire, her eyes red as she smiled while jade fired her revolvers, busting two of them at the same time as Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy came running up, the unicorn turned human casting a blizzard spell and freezing several of the minions at the same time as Rainbow Dash ran forward, slashign through them while Fluttershy stayed back, still nervous, but she then charged to the dumpster as Haley screamed, slashing the ones in the dumpster and slammed the lid as she turned to the others, everyone grouping up to fight.
"Oh yeah, this is what I needed!" Yang shouted, punching another minion whiile firing her gauntlets to take out three others through the spread. "They aren't Grimm, but hey, they keep on getting up to fight some more!"
"Keep it up ladies, they can't keep on regenerating themselves forever!" Spyro said, slashing through another one.
However, as they were fighting, Dr. Diente and one of his minions came up behind the wall, one of the minions grabbing Haley and putting it's hand over her mouth to keep her from screaming as they fled, the minions reforming themselves and ran away from the group as everyone watched them leave.
"Aw come on, we were just getting started!" Yang said. "I haven't even given my new arm a full test run yet!"
"Eh, let them go." Spyro said. "Stick with us and you'll be getting some real action."
"Oh, you and I are going to get along just fine." Yang said.
"Jake!" Lao Shi shouted, he, Fu, and the Tooth Fairy running up.
"Gramps!" Jake said. "What are you doing here?"
"Jake, where's Haley!?" Lao Shi asked.
"Relax G, she's safe." Jake said. "She's right over..." He looked and saw Haley wasn't on the wall anymore, feeling his heart race. "Haley? Haley, where are you!? Haley!"
"Oh no, we're too late." Lao Shi said.
"Wait, what does thos have to do with Haley?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"They want her tooth." Lao Shi said. "A dragon's tooth holds mighty powers!"
"If a dragon's tooth is planet in soil, it will unleash unspeakable evil upon the world!" The Tooth Fairy said, everyone looking at her. "Hi, I'm the Tooth Fairy."
"Oh no, we have to help her!" Jake said.
"Don't sweat it bud." Rainbow Dash said. "Spyro's a tracker."
"Wait, he's a tracker?" Yang asked. "And an engineer? What else is he?"
"Well, he's a Jedi, a dragon, a prince-" Rainbow Dash listed.
"A prince!?" Jake asked. "Wow, wow, back up there! Spyro's a prince!?"
"That's not important right now." Spyro said. "We need to find Haley now."
"Ah, my assistant, Dr. Diente, might have taken her back to my Tra-la-la-lair!" The Tooth Fairy said.
"That makes things easier on us." Spyro said. "Lead the way Tooth Fairy."
The Tooth Fairy then flew in the direction of her lair, everyone following close behind while at the lair, Dr. Diente had just thrown Haley into a cell made out of teeth, closing the door as he grinned.
"I got to say Xigbar, your plan worked out better than I thought." Diente said. "Use the minions to destract the big brother and his little sitters as we get the prize."
"What can I say, as a sniper and a former mercenary, I know how to plan for any occasion." Xigbar replied.
"You are going to be in such big trouble when my brohter and his friends get here!" Haley shouted.
"Oh, I'm counting on them to come little girl." Xigbar said, holding up one of his weapons as clicking it, loading it as Haley looked at him, seeing a whole army of Snipers, Dusks, and Berserkers behind him as he stood up. "I'm counting on it."
