Several days later she was walking when someone walked beside her taking her by surprise "Hey Lissel" he said making her look up at him. He had on a blue Karl Kani shirt with denim shorts and white Nike air max sneakers on making her stop and look up at him. "Hey Koji what are you doing here" she questioned, "I was just taking care of some business, what about you. What are you up to? Koji responds, "nothing coming from school about to take the bus to my cousins house" Lissel answered.
As he nods "Do you want a ride I can take you if you want" he says, "sure thank you" she replies. With a nod "Cool my car is over there" he says taking the books out of her hand and leading the way. To his jeep and opening the door for her and putting her books in the back seat "Thank you" she says then putting on her seatbelt.
That is when she noticed he had a car phone as he went around to get in then starting the car and driving away. "So have you heard from that guy what is he your boyfriend or something" Koji says, with her scoffing "Oh gosh absolutely not. I go out of my way to ignore him" she answered, as he looked at her perplexed.
"Then why did he think it was okay to slap you on the ass?" he says indifferently, shaking her head. "It's a long story but he seems to think that I'm going to marry him" Lissel says with him looking at her with a raised eyebrow. But before he could respond she did "My Mother wants me to marry him and me personally I can't stand him" she says. "Okay so he's not your boyfriend" he says, "oh hell no why do you ask" she said shaking her head vehemently.
"Umm, because I wanted to know if I could take you out to eat or something," he said straightforwardly, looking directly at her. Just as she was about to speak his phone ran when he put his finger up "One second Dime Tio si Que necesitas umm okay when do you need it. Mmm okay can you give me some time I'm in the middle of something okay let me do this and I'll go over there okay tato" he says then hangs up.
"If you can't drop me off I'll take the bus" Lissel says, "it's okay Lissel I said I would take you and I am. I was just hoping you know we can get something to eat like now" he says bluntly, she was smitten with him. "Sure" she answers with a smile making him smile "Good umm can you take a ride with me it's not gonna take long.
If you don't mind" he says, "yeah okay that's fine" she answered as he turned then went in the other direction. Driving all down by the countryside to a big house "Where are we?" Lissel asked, "Oh this is my Uncle's house well my godfather's house for when he stays here he wants me to turn everything on. So when my cousins and them get here his nephew , his niece and her husband get here and it's ventilated" Koji says, "Wow this house is huge" she said in awe.
"Well it's a multi family house with over hundred rooms. It looks like a hotel but it's not. I have a room here, so does everyone in my family. The parents have a wing to themselves, the young adults like us and a little older the younger kids have their wing. Where there the grandparents and great grandparents are there but it's cool there's two pools. And like a side for water activities" he said driving up then , opening the gate for her letting them onto the property then locking it behind them.
As they walked side by side "He must be loaded" she says looking around in amazement , " He does okay it's just about making proper investments. In big companies Microsoft, Bestbuy, Home Depot, a couple of other ones you won't have to really work ever" Koji says, making her look up at him in shock. It made her even more intrigued by him "What about you, what do you do, are you going school" she asked.
" Me, I do a lot of things. What do you want to know? And I'm going to University here when it starts" he asked while they walked inside of the house. With her looking around as they walked further into the house it was massive "Come this way I have to go in here just hold this flashlight for me while I turn these on thanks" he says. She did as he asked as he turned on the heat, gas and electricity when heard something quickly and stealthy, putting her behind him.
Pulling out his knife ready for whatever happened next when Santiago rolled his eyes "Ko you know it had to be someone with keys yes I know that people keep trying to get in here. We know that's why we're here easy brother" he said, as Karina and Calvin walked in behind him. Both shaking their heads, "Mami Koko" Senaida says with a big smile on her face making him smile. It was the first time ever. She saw him smile like that , his eyes lighting up, putting the knife away "my bad Tio asked me to come here. I didn't know you guys were coming today. Sorry, this is Lissel, this is Santiago, his twin sister Karina and her husband Calvin and Senaida their daughter. Hi princess , you move" he says, taking Senaida from Karina when the baby grabbed his face. "Mami, Papi Koko" the baby says, giving him kisses then resting her head on his shoulder.
"Que tal Koko" Calvin said with a grin as Koji gave him a serious face with Karina shoving her husband. "That's only for little people to call him that Pa you know like Nai Nai, Emeldy you know little people not us Hi Lissel. Who are you if you don't mind me asking" Karina said looking when Koji looked up at her "Excuse me I came here with him he's a friend of mine" Lissel says looking up at Kari.
With no fear "Hey Kari she's with me okay be nice with your rude ass alright it's not the same thing so behave yourself. And if that's not enough she's cool people she's Vic's cousin" Koji said, "Ooh okay Vic is the homie alright but Mamita this isn't personal. Okay if you're gonna be around you're gonna get it from everyone for this guy you got brass though because you hit me.
With it right back you fine by me muchacha" Kari says laughing, Santiago laughed "Someone is just as bitchy as you no offense hon" he says. "You people are heathens right Nai Nai" Koji says playing with the baby all she could do was watch him. Kari looked at her brother then her husband who laughed "Oye boss man we gonna need you and probably Vic later" Calvin says brushing his hair.
Before Lissel could ask "Who's coming"Koji asked, "everyone is coming with the exception of Angelina and baby Yaddy and Santi isn't staying" Kari says. Koji nods "Well me and Vic fixed the car so I'll have him bring it come on Lissel let's get out of here. Family I'll see you guys in a couple of days" he says, "Yo Ko ya'll don't have to leave we can all chill we can cook something Titi Xelia and Tio Cesar is bringing everything later.
But we got some stuff on the way here. Tio didn't know that we were coming today" Santiago says. Looking at Lissel "What you wanna do?" Koji asked her , "I really didn't mean to be a bitch we love this guy, he's family" Karina said. As they all looked at her " Why is everyone looking at me" Lissel says looking around, "Ko I like her can we keep her she got balls" Kari says laughing.
Making her brother and husband laugh, so did Koji and there that smile was again "whatever i'm in" she says laughing as well. "Let's go," Calvin said laughing as he kissed his wife on the cheek before him and Santiago went to go get the bags. That's when she turned and looked up at him while he was talking to Senaida and the little girl lit up. All she could do was watch him. It was just something about him that she felt safe even when pulled the knife out. Whatever this was she was gonna see it through no matter what.

Meanwhile across town Carmen pulled up in a cab and she got a ride to Victor's house knocking on the door. When he opened the door as he was coming out he sighs when he sees her "Where's Lissel she should be back from school already it's been enough.
She has to get back to her life" Carmen says, he shrugs "She's not here last time I spoke to her she said she's gonna stay with some friend.
In La Capital it's by her school I gave her some money and that was it" Vic said closing the door. "Where in the Capital do you have a number that I can call" the woman said as he walked around her "I can't remember but I have to go work bye" he says. "You want to destroy your life by all means go ahead but you're not taking my daughter with you.
She has a bright future and a great future husband stay away from her Victor" the woman spat. He smirked " There it goes I have a great life. I make more money than I have to spend and I have a gorgeous wife.
My life is good. You just can't stand it that she doesn't want what you want and she is gonna figure it out and what then Titi. The real you is gonna come out and you're gonna lose her and I can bet you all the money in my bank account.
And yours on that" he said laughing, "I know what's best for my children" Carmen spat getting angry. All he could do was smile "You don't even see it that you are going to lose both of your daughters but I do good bye" Vic said getting in his car and driving away. Leaving her standing there angry as she stormed off then looking for a cab to go to the city.

"Thank the heavens can I tell you how happy I am that it's friday" Ramona said, "do you know Mrs. Watson gave us a report due on Monday. Where am I gonna have the time to do this i'm convinced she doesn't have a life and, and, she enjoys fucking up our weekends" Sam complained. "Right puttana I'm not missing JT's party for this" Simone says in agreement as Elle took the paper from her 'Ehh I'll see what I can do Jerome" she says.
"Wait hey can you do mine too and you're here for shits and giggles this is our every day" he says, making Elle look at him "pause I didn't say I was gonna do it. What I meant was I'll look through it and so you won't spend all weekend with bullshit. And well classes ended for the semester and they said I could be a teacher's aide" she responds. "You know I didn't mean it like that Elle come on ''Simone says "ughhhh this weekend is so gonna suck" Cruz says as he walks over with his friends twins Ashraf and Abdul. "You too Carlito '' Elle says, "Nooo Mrs. Wu got on me because of these two jokers. Now she wants to meet with my parents on Monday" he says.
"Geez you guys are buzzkills. I had an awesome day. Your brother made an ass out of himself in class. He wanted to be a smartass. Let's joke on the twelve year old nope not today sir oh Hi Santino" Elena says with a smile "Simone come on" Santino says shortly. Only making her smile "Satly much It's okay Santino tell Papa La Rocca that you have a twelve year old tutor" she says.
When his little brother looked at him and laughed "shut your mouth you don't ever know when to shut up" he said hotly. "Watch how you talk to her, Santino. I would hate for you to be picking your jaw off the floor. Nena what did you do to piss him off now" JT says looking him straight in the eye, "I didn't do anything he decided that I would be the butt of his jokes in AP science because i'm 12 going on 13.
Let's just get that correct and you know me I was me then Mr. Bartolo chimed in and said well. Maybe you won't feel bad when you find out that the 12 year old is your tutor instant karma by the way. And I have to tutor him not one but two subjects' ' Elle says, "Whatever let's go now Simone" he said walking away angrily "Bye, Bye now Santino see you sunday" she said waving.
Making everyone else laugh "your asshole Elena '' Clara says hugging her cousin Ramona. "Am I, he started it. She's twelve. What does she know about sex ed she probably hasn't hit puberty yet. Meatstick so no I don't feel bad for him at all" she replies, "Come kiddos Mami has already picked up the little kids.
So teenagers let's roll, it's friday and I have to go pick up my kid" Kat said coming out. As they all followed her as they walked a couple blocks away from the school , a car pulled up beside them and rolled the windows down "Hello Samantha" the woman says. Making them stop as Sam looked at her "Do I know you no so keep on going" Sam replies as they continue to walk.
"Nai me xéreis Samántha xéro kai ti mitéra sou ton theío sou Stéfano, Valentín ton xáderfó sou Nikóla ( Yes you do know me Samantha I know your mother as well your Uncle Stefan, Valentin your cousin Nikolas) the woman said. When Sam looked at her the woman smiled " You understand well good your mother taught you your native tongue" she says. "Hey Crypt keeper she said she doesn't know you so keep going so what if you know her Uncles and her cousins big deal" Kat says.
Pushing the younger kids back, going for the blade in her jacket as the older woman smiled "I assure you Ms. DiSanto it's not a wise idea I was just giving Samantha. Her birthday present isn't that right you just turned 13 such a precocious age everything is new '' the woman said. Handing a gift to her "I don't want that I how do I know it's not a bomb no thank you lady" Sam says, stepping back keeping an eye on the woman.
"You do know it's rude to turn down a present someone gives you" she says when Kat took it from her. "Good bye Lady that's cute you know my name then you should buzz off, Let's go y'all" as they all stepped back. Keeping their eyes on her she smiled "Very well then See you soon Samantha I hope you like your present '' she said as the car drove off.
With Ashraf and Abdul taking the license plate down "Who was that?" Cruz asked, shaking her head "I don't but I know her somehow I just can't remember" Sam says as they continued to walk. Dropping off the Abdallah twins first "What do you think is in it? She was in a luxury car with fancy clothes on.
And actual diamonds because those were real" Clara says, "'Doesn't your mother speak Greek and isnt she like some princess or something" JT said. "Yeah but she doesn't talk about it at all" she answered, shaking her head, "weird do you think that's the lady that tried to kidnap you" Elle said. Making them all look at each other "hurry up now all of you I'm not liking this at all" Kat said.
As they looked at each other when Sam took off running to her house with everyone with her. Banging on her door "AUNT TINA OPEN THE DOOR!"Sam says when her opened as they ran inside. Locking the door, taking her aunt by surprise "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS" Tina says rocking baby Krissy in her arms. While they were all piled into the house and all of them were out of breath except Elle.
"We were walking home when some car pulled up with some old broad inside. She said she knew me. And she gave me this birthday present and she knew Kat's name" Sam says trying to breathe as Cruz and JT watched the door. Making Kristina's face drop as Kat handed her the present "ALL OF YOU GO TO THE PANIC ROOM NOW! She says rushing baby Kristina.
With all the teenagers running to the basement panic room just as they closed the door the house door was opened. After locking them in, Kristina grabbed the basement telephone "Hey Natty umm we have a problem mommy dearest is here she approached Sam on her way home from school. And Ava is in the hospital. She just went. She said she was having pains and I think someone is in the house.
No I have Sam, Elle,Kat, Ramona , Clara and Carlito and JT and baby Krissy yeah we're fine. Well, thank your husband and his friend for putting you in a military style panic room because I'm panicking. Natty don't these kids have bodyguards or something" Tina said, "No we have family but yeah" Carlito said.
"I called off their detail because I was picking them up like I do every Friday" Kat says, as Tina shook her head. " And I'm sure She knew that Natty hello, Natty, hellooo shit gamóto" she said as they all looked at her while Kat stood to the side. Putting something together "Okay well I spoke to your mother and I'm sure she's gonna call all of your parents so don't panic.
Katherine what are doing" Tina says, "i'm making a bomb or something if they come through that door" Kat replies. Making Tina look at her in disbelief "We've only been down here for a few minutes" she said with Kat shrugging. "I can make this in my sleep , can one of you little shits give me a lighter" she said as Tina looked at the teenagers "What lighter" Tina says.
As they all looked at each other then Tina "I like setting things on fire" Elle answered when J.T passed Kat his lighter. With Tina looking at him "What do you need a lighter for" she questioned making Kat sigh. "Come on now Tina you're 19 not 29 what do you think" Kat said shaking her head, "Yeah but their teenagers" Tina says. "Yeah so are you and so am I" she responds as Tina looks around at them, "Don't look at me I didn't do anything" Cruz says shaking his head.
Ramona looked at her watch" I knew we shoulda just went the other way I told you guys that it was too predictable" she says. "Yadda Yadda Yadda Ramy we know but we had the Abdallah twins with us and It was just eerie we thought she left. Alexis jumped in a cab and she could believe that she was here after everything she did to her she had the audacity to show up with presents. Like that was supposed to make up for trying to steal her daughter then setting Julian up to sleep with Lucas's mom. As she hopped out of the cab and rushed upstairs to Julian's office "Hey hi is Derek here" she asked before walking to his office door and pushing it open.
"Mrs. Well's he's in a meeting" the secretary said, "Well meeting over it's important" Alexis says as he read the urgency in her eyes. "Umm I'll meet with you guys in an hour" he says, making her chuckle "Try tomorrow or Monday" she says . All the while he looked at her indifferently as he made his way towards her "Alexis what's going on is the kids okay" Julian said.
Shaking her head as the other men left his office as she gave them a polite smile then closing the door. Behind them and locking it "I don't know my mother is here. She stopped Sam on the street when they were on their way home from school. She gave her a birthday present. They took off running to our house now Sam, Elle, Ramona,Clara, JT and Carlito and Kat. Along with my sister and baby Krissy are all in the panic room at our house because they think someone is in the house " she said breathlessly.

Trying to breathe "Yes I need it Alexis you're telling me your crazy mother is here and probably had her lackeys kicking in our door too. Then going to her and rushing out "Umm Linda reschedule that meeting for Monday I have some. Family things I have to take care of tell them I apologize and send them all a bottle of my best bourbon" he said. As he ushered Alexis to the elevator "Are you sure that the panic room is secure, there's no way for Helena to do anything" she says.
When he looked at her and kissed her "It's gonna be fine I promise and yes it's secure Memo did it himself" Julian says holding her close. "I just want my sister and the children to be okay. I can't lose any of them,"Alexis says quietly. Holding her tighter "You won't be losing anybody okay" he said knowing she was thinking of when she tried to have Sam kidnap so she could raise her.
