"Look, There's a barrel over there", "Looks big, we should bring it on board,".
The two men who were working on watch out headed down to bring the barrel on board. They hurried down the stairs and struggled to haul the barrel out of the ocean, "This thing is heavy, it seems like booze,"
One of the men said, catching his breath as they stopped for a break.
"Or fruit, we should bring it to the kitchen" The other suggested.
The two men half carried, half dragged the barrel into the kitchen before dropping it off, "We will have to leave the rest of it to the chefs." the slightly taller man said.
" I hope it actually is booze, or fruit or else we'll have a lot of explaining to do" The shorter man said with a laugh.
Meanwhile….
"PIRATES, listen up. We are going to attack that ship over there, Prepare your weapons, throw the ropes and ATTACK!" The large plump pirate Alvida ordered.
All the pirates slid from the ropes and jumped onto the opposing ship, All except one.
"Koby, who's the most beautiful woman in the seas?" She asked with an unsettling laugh.
"Y-You" The boy said, trembling.
" Then get going and attack!" Alvida ordered.
"Well, uhm I haven't been in an attack before maybe i should just stay behind," He offered nervously."
Alvida was not accepting that idea when she attempted to hit him with her gigantic club. Koby practically flew onto the other boat. He walked around looking for a place to lay low till the attack was over and ended up stumbling into the kitchen.
What's this huge barrel doing here? I should probably tell Alvida, Koby thought.
As he was about to exit the room three pirates rushed in, "Woah! Are you seeing this, that barrel is huge? It must have booze! Let's open it" The largest of them exclaimed.
" Shouldn't we tell Alvida? She'll get angry if she finds out we didn't tell her." Koby asked, trembling.
"Well we aren't going to tell her so unless you are she wont find out, So Koby are you going to tell her" The shortest one asked.
"N-No," Koby said. "Well then let's break this barrel open!" The largest one said, raising his arm to smash open the top of the barrel.
Suddenly a boy who looked koby's age bursted from inside of it, "I SLEPT GREAT!" he practically yelled while knocking out the larger one and leaving the others shocked.
The two conscious pirates pulled out their swords and attempted to slice the boy but their swords bounced off like his skin was rubber.
The two remaining pirates grabbed their pal and ran away dragging him behind them.
"What's the deal with them?" He asked Koby who was still in a state of shock while stretching.
"Anyways, I'm Monkey D. Luffy, but you can call me Luffy, do you know where I can get some food around here?" He asked in a casual tone.
"No not really but you should probably hide or get out of here quick! They'll probably bring backup or maybe even Alvida" Koby warned Luffy as he followed him out of the room and into another which seemed to be a stock room since it was filled with bags of fruits and vegetables.
"It's fine, how much harm can they do anyways," Luffy said as if it wasn't a big deal.
"Also how did you do that back there?" Koby asked once again
"I ate the gum gum fruit so now my body is like rubber" Luffy said while stretching his arm across the room.
"By the way, how did you get here? I mean I just got lost," Luffy said, crunching on an apple.
"Two years ago I set out on a small boat to catch fish, but apparently it was a pirate boat so in exchange for my life I've been working as a chore boy, but I've always wanted to be a marine, " Koby said with a sigh.
"Haha i hate guys like you, why don't you just leave or take a boat?" Luffy said with a laugh.
"No you don't get it! Alvida would kill me!" Koby said.
"Anyways are their any boats i can take since i do need to sail out and get a crew if i want to be king of the pirates," Luffy asked.
"KING OF THE PIRATES?! NO NO NO THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE NEVER NEVER, OWWW WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Koby said before being hit on the head by luffy.
"Cus i felt like it," Luffy said.
"But still how can you be king of the pirates? There are so many stronger people and they're not even close?" Koby asked.
"Because that's my dream, I promised a friend I would do this so it's fine with me if I die trying," Luffy said, twirling his straw hat.
Suddenly loud thumping noises could be heard outside, "oh no no no, it's alvida!" Koby thought, trembling.
Suddenly She burst from the door holding her huge spiked club. "Oh so a bounty hunter has come to hunt me down," She said with her usual unsettling laugh.
"Do you really think you can beat me? If so, try this!" She said aiming at them with her club but instead ended up creating a hole in the ceiling. Koby and luffy managed to jump onto the main deck only to find a whole lot of pirates waiting for them.
Alvida managed to get on as well, "Whos this fat hag?" Luffy asked much to the dismay of everyone around him.
"Koby tells this brat who's the most beautiful lady on the seas!" Alvida said angrily.
"Definitely not you, you uh… Ugly lady," Koby said mustering up all his strength.
"WHY YOU, I guess I'll have to kill you both now!" Alvida said furiously.
Luffy ran back to the mast before grabbing it and one of the railings, "Gum Gum Pistol!" He yelled as he stretched himself back and shot himself at Alvida which managed to fling her far out of eyesight of the boat.
"Now if any of you guys won't get in our way me and Koby will be leaving," Luffy said as he and Koby walked to where the dinghy they were about to board was at. They sat down and left the boats behind them for good, seeing a glimpse at another girl on a dinghy next to them.
