A few hours later Rory walked into San Francisco Central and was filled into situation, Logan broke his left arm, got concussion, had a few bruises but overall nothing terrible, yeah after Costa Rica this time he really was in a better state. Doctor, Mr Campbell told her that he'll wake up in a few hours and after that they'll have a few tests during next two days and will see when he will be released. Rory sat down in front of his ward and was trying to collect her thoughts when Finn walked into corridor
– «Well, hello Loove, I am happy to see you, but would prefer to meet you in other circumstances.» Finn said while putting her in bear hug.
– «Finny, same here, I missed you too.»
– «So, what doctor's are saying about Huntz?»
– « He broke his arm, got concussion and a few bruises, but have to be okay in a few days.» She sighed with relief. «Where is Colin? And where you were?»
–« I was in Nashville, we're opening a new hotel there and Colin was in Ottawa with his dad, he is supposed to be in San Francisco in hour or two. You talked with Honor?» he asked while sat at Rory's previous place, looked at Logan's door and added « He got off easy this time».
Rory nodded and murmured «Thanks God», after what she answered on his question – «It was awkward to talk to her, but yeah we are right now messaging each other about what's going on, she and Josh were in Barcelona, so they will be here /- at noon and how I know she didn't notified their parents and well I am also not planning to call them » she finished nervously. She remembered how previous time she had to literally yell at a grown up man to come to hospital for his son and how Shira went to spa instead of rushing to see her child.
– «Was for you awkward only to speak to Honor or?»
Rory starred at him without blinking, she perfectly understood what he meant about whole situation right now.
– «He missed you, you know? I never saw him like that, he literally reached to the bottom of his life, he drank nonstop for first week, he» Rory shocked her head with tears in her eyes and whispered – «Finn, please stop, not now. I have to have this talk with Logan later». Finn just nodded and patted the place next to him. They sat down together in a comfortable silence, both had a lot of things in their minds.
In little over than hour later Finn got a message from Colin, that he is in town. Rory was preparing herself for another conversation like one before, when Finn just walked away and was back in a few minutes with large cup of coffee and donuts and told her with a friendly smile, that he'll meet Colin and they will join her in a little. Rory gracefully looked at him and nodded, that was a moment when she understood that everything in her relationships with Finn will be okay and that he is not mad at her, but God help her with Colin, he always was protective over his friends and well she had no idea, is he still counting her as friend or no.
While she was alone she diced to call Paris. It was already 5 a.m in San Francisco, so it has to be 8 a.m in Boston.
– «Gilmore, why the hell are you calling me in the morning? Isn't it 7 a.m in Chicago?»
– «Hello you too, Paris, I am not in Chicago, I am actually in San Francisco and..»
– «WAIT! WHAT? Why are you there, what's going on?»
– «Paris let me finish and you'll know» and Rory told her everything what happened in last few hours.
– «Wow, Blondie can't live without incidents»
– «PARISSS»
– «Okay, okay, but I don't understand why you diced to call me?»
– « Maybe I just wanted to hear a few good words from my friend?»
– «Gilmore» she rolled her eyes and sighed loudly «Truth»
– «What the hell I am doing here?» she said with hesitation
– «Excuse me?»
– «What the hell I am doing here? 3 months ago he asked me to marry him and I said no, I was so afraid of life after Yale, I had no idea what was going to happen and there he was, person whom I love more than anyone else, asking me to marry him, to spend my whole life with him, but I was not ready, I had no time to think about that, hell I thought that in a few years Finn, Colin and Robert will have to drag him to the altar, but nooo, he came to the point when he was ready for next step, but I wasn't. When I said no, I thought that we will work through that together, but he freaked out right there and gave me an ultimatum, all or nothing. All or nothing, really? And that was it, finish, finita la commedia, he left. And now I am here, instead of being at work, sitting infront of his room talking with his friends and sister, like past 3 months didn't happen at all, but what will happen when he'll wake up? Sorry I just rambled this all nonstop»
– «You love him?» Paris asked with calm voice
– «What?»
– «You said "person whom I love more than anyone else in the world" not "whom I loved", you are still in love with Logan?»
– « Yes, yes, of course I am still in love with him, I tried to forget him, but it's practically impossible when you are spending so much time in your own thoughts while driving from state to state with bunch of strangers.»
– «So this why you are there Ror, you are still in love with your boy and you still care about him, just don't freak out when you'll see him and don't run»
– «Wow, Paris thanks,who would now that you are such a good psychologist, Terrence would be proud of you» she chuckled.
– « Yeah, yeah, you are always welcome Gilmore, I'll sand your bill later» Paris giggled but next added seriously «Do not forget to update me when he'll wake up, if you want I can again speak to doctors».
– «Okay thanks and thanks again for conversation, I'll keep you updated, and say hi from me to Doyle, bye.»
Rory really felt a lot better after chatting with Paris, God if somebody had told her something like this at her 16, she would never believe. She settled again on her seat and was finishing her donuts when Colin approached her.
– «Well, hello Reporter girl» Colin said while kissing her on cheek and sitting down beside.
– «Hey you too, you boys are now even greeting people in a same way» she chuckled.
– «This is what a lifetime friendship is making to you» he added with a smile. «Finn filled me into situation, thanks God he will be okay and that there are no complications and he also told me about your conversation». Last words took her breath away and Colin noticed that she is nervous, but he continued «Relax Ror, I was angry at you, I was angry at him, I see both of your sides, but I didn't understood why you both gave up so fast, hell I still don't. And I agree with you, this is a serious conversation, which has to happen between you two and I really hope that you guys will talk, like really talk with all your feelings out.» Colin ended while looking her right in the eyes. They both nodded to eachother and turned to Finn, who came to them with another round of coffee and donuts.
