It was almost 9 a.m when Mr Campbell walked towards Rory and boy's, he told them, that now they can enter Logan's room and that he has to wake up in next hour or so. Finn and Colin decided that's it's an amazing time to took their luggages to their hotel and Rory's one too. She hesitated because of knowing boys, they are definitely staying in the most fabulous Hotel in the city and well, her salary as a reporter for an online magazine was not bad, but was also not that high for her to have money for number in a five star hotel. But Finn immediately said:
– «Loove, common just give me you luggage, Morgan Corporation owns hotels everywhere and yes in San Francisco too, our one is in just 10 minutes frome here and after your call I without lossing anytime called to manager and asked to prepare our family suit at top floor. Me, you, Colin, Honor and Josh and even our lover boy can all stay there and suit will still be half empty» he chuckled.
– «Yeah, and while Finn will check us into their hotel, I am going to talk with policemen. How I know thay arrested those boys and believe me they'll get consequences. We also were careless teenagers and college boys, but yet our biggest arrests were because of yacht at the bottom of the ocean near Fiji and nude Finn running in fountain's, we never made anybody suffer or to be sent in hospital.» Colin completed angrily.
Rory knew that arguing with this two won't make any sense, so she said goodbye to them and promised to message when Logan will wake up.
She entered his room, as if she entered lion's den. She knew that he was sleeping, but that didn't help at all. After settling down at a chair at his right side she took his hand in hers and was just staring at him, waiting what his reaction will be.
40 minutes later Rory felt that her hand was squeezed and that his eyes started to open , he was blinking and obviously wasn't understanding where he is or what's going on.
– «Ace» he murmured «Ace, am I really hallucinating this time, honestly it's good»
– «Logan, you are awake, you are really awake» Rory said with relief in her voice.
– «Wait, it's really you, Ace, ace» he started to try to sit in his hospital bed.
– «Don't, please Logan careful, I'll just call nurses and your doctor, let them check you and only after that you can do any activities» she said while squeezing his hand and whipping her eyes from tears. He just nodded, but didn't let go her hand.
Mr Campbell with nurse Mrs Florence entered the room and started explaining to Rory and Logan what happened to him, in which state is his body and what they have to do next, right now he have to rest till noon, later he will be taken to repeat x-ray and to get tested. They both nodded to doctors with gratitude.
After that, Logan starred at Rory, waiting when she'll start to speak, his mind was going crazy, he had no idea why she came or why she decided to stay with him, is this just because she is a good person and felt pity for him or maybe she is here because of she still cares for him?
– «I got a phone call last evening from hospital» he looked at her puzzled «I am still your emergency contact» she continued and he nodded when remembered it, of course she is his emergency number, he'll never forget through what she went while had no idea what was going on with him in New York hospital. «Next I called boys and Honor, took a flight from Chicago to here , I was in Chicago because of my job, in the beginning of summer Hugo offered me a positioning as a..»
– «A reporter on Obama's campaign, I know, I am following your publications» she just looked at him in disbelief, she had no idea that he knew about her job or if he knew she didn't believe that he'll read her works.
– «Finn is right now checking us in hotel, Colin is dealing with police and Honor will be here in a few ours» she continued and he nodded. Honestly in this moment he remembered how lucky he is, that his friends and sister left everything und rushed to him, even when he is California and that the love of his life, no matter what, was here, sitting in front of him, still caring about him, after everything what happened.
– «Ace, I am sorry..»
– «No, Logan it's not your fault that this brat's don't know how to drive a car»
– «I know, but I am still sorry, sorry that you had to leave your job and come here, sorry that you had a nervous night and sorry, sorry for everything, for your graduation day, sorry for leaving like that, I, I just..»
– «Chshhh, I know, I know and I am sorry to for letting you go like that» she sobbed out with smile on her face. «We can have this conversation later, when you will be released from hospital, okay?» and he just nodded in answer.
– «Ace, I just want you to know, that I still love you, I am still in love with you, Ror I am serious, you are still the most important person in my life and I don't think that it will ever change» he honestly told her.
– «I am still in love with you too MAC» Rory said and kissed his forehead.
They just sat down in this hospital room in comfortable silence, both understanding that maybe they still have a chance, that maybe be this was their one last chance to proof to eachother and to everyone else that their love is more powerful than anything else.
In a few minutes Finn and Colin entered the room with jokes about Logan's bruises and that they have to bring Henry in his room, Rory would like to say that she is in shock that he brought his armor suit from New Haven to Palo Alto,but well he also took it from Andover, so Henry is just travelling with him everywhere.
– «I was in police station, those boy's are freshman's in Stanford and just like us are from rich families, we are pressing charges, but well they are not going to end up in jail, but will fully pay for cars repair, for damage of light pole, fine and will have from 150 to 170 hours of public service.»
– «Thanks man for taking care of all of that and thank you both guys for being here, I really appreciate that» boys nodded after his words.
– «We can't leave you and Loove dealing with all of this alone, can we? Plus I missed you all» Finn added.
And they continued chatting, but boys didn't miss out that during whole conversation Logan's and Rory's hands were locked in, until Rory got a phone call.
– «Hey Ror, we are in hospital, can you tell me in which room you are?»
– «Hi Honor, we are on 6 floor, room 602»
– «Honor and Josh are here, they will be up in a few» she told to Logan and boys.
Honor was unsure how she have to act with Rory, she liked her, she really did and she understood why she said no, but at the same time she was angry because of her actions and she was thankful that she was here with her brother, she honestly had no idea why she came, she could only phone call them to notify and next only message for update, but here she was taking care of her little brother, maybe those two still have their chance.
When they entered the room Honor rushed to hug Logan and Josh started to greet boys, while his wife started scolding her little baby brother. Next Josh greeted and hugged Rory, who was obviously nervous.
– «Thanks God you are okey, Logan you really need to stop finding yourself in accidents, I freaked out when Rory called me.» she looked at Rory and continued «Rory hey, hi, thank you so much for keeping up with these idiot» Honor said while hugging Ror tightly.
– «Heeey this is time it wasn't my fault» Logan said pretending to be offended.
– «Yeah, yeah, and that the only reason why I am not yelling at you right now» Honor chuckled and rolled her eyes.
Rory was finely truly relieved, after meeting with Honor and Josh. Now they have to decide what to do next. So she thought that she need another cup of coffee to be able to catch up with everyone after sleepless nights. She excused herself and went out from the room.
While she was standing and waiting her coffee, her phone rang and we she looked at callers ID she panicked. «Shit, shit, shit, what I am going to tell her, she is going to freak out » she thought. «Okay Rory, don't panic, don't panic, you are an adult and this is your decision, you love him and he just confirmed that he loves her, everything is going to be fine» she told herself and answered the call
