Title: Oblivious
Summary: After Kim wins an award at school, the gang goes out to celebrate and Kim realizes Jack isn't picking up any of the hints she is dropping. Then suddenly Jack pulls her close and all rational thought flies out the window.
They are not dating in this one.
Okay so in this story the characters are a little more cannon. The reason I write so many fanfics is because I have ideas that aren't canon, so to the comment that pointed out how protective Jack is, that's because that's what I want to see because the show didn't give us that intense of a character. But alas, this story is much more typical. I purposefully wrote Jack as a frustratingly oblivious teenage boy. I figured it would be a nice change from my usual kind of intense story.
Long story short, I tried to write this as if it could be just another episode of the show. Enjoy.
Kim was grinning from ear to ear.
She had done a lot of things in her life, she had her fair share of achievements. This was a special one, though.
Kim had been named Seaford High's Athlete of the Semester. Along with the title, honoring her as a well-rounded and valuable athlete, Kim was given a small scholarship fund for any college of her choice. It was a great achievement that Kim had not expected. To make things even better, she had all her friends there watching.
The ceremony took place in the evening where other academic and athletic awards were handed out. Milton himself was receiving a handful of academic awards, although nearly everyone expected that.
Kim had dressed up nice for the event, bubbling with pride that she had earned something so special. She wore a beautiful silky blue a-line dress with spaghetti straps. The skirt came a few inches above her knee and it wasn't dissimilar to a dress she might have worn at homecoming.
Her shoes were simple silver heels. She hadn't liked the idea of heels as much but when she saw them with the dress, she knew she had to wear them.
Her hair was curled and put into a beautiful half-up half-down bun. She had secured it with bobby pins that had little silver diamonds on the ends that stuck out and made her sparkle all the more elegantly.
She felt like a princess.
She looked like a Princess.
As Kim waited for her name to be called, she teetered on her heels and tried not to smile too wide.
"And now, for Seaford High's Athlete of the Semester. This student is a member of multiple school teams and clubs. This student is a well-rounded individual who has personally won this school seven different titles and continues to excel in sports, extracurricular activities, and academics. Congratulations, Kim Crawford!"
Kim took a deep breath as she looked at the podium and took slow, deliberate steps towards it, determined to look good, act deserving, and not fall.
As Mr. Woods, the Principal, handed Kim her certificate he offered her a warm smile. "Congratulations Miss Crawford."
"Thank you," Kim smiled, having an out of body experience as she paused for a quick picture and then continued on her path across the stage.
Overall, her part took a mere fifteen, maybe twenty seconds. Still, Kim enjoyed it. After a few more awards were handed out, the ceremony would close and Kim would be free to find her friends. The actual details of her award would be sent by email the next week. Tonight was simply about recognition.
Kim waited backstage for the ceremony to end with a few other kids. Milton was busy sucking up to his Physics teacher so Kim just waited excitedly on her own.
There were a few boys who were messing around with each other behind Kim. They were supposed to help out with setting things up and taking them down after so for now, they just acted like a bunch of idiots.
"Do you think that kid has ever had a conversation with a girl besides his physics teacher?"
Someone laughed. "No way. He's going to die surrounded by his sweet little biology textbooks."
More laughter followed and Kim knew they were talking about Milton. She was about to turn around and tell the boys what she thought when the subject changed to something much closer to home.
"Did you see Kim's dress?"
Kim narrowed her eyes dangerously, waiting to hear where the idiots were taking the conversation. They really were idiots, did they not realize she was right behind them?
"Yeah, I did. She looked hot. Better than my girl, even. I swear, that chick has the best body in this town."
"Don't I know it. I bet Mr. Woods knows it too. Everyone knows her stupid award was just cause Woods felt pressured to pick a girl this time. He's afraid of another equality protest and who better to pick than a girl as sexy as Kim?"
Kim couldn't stand to hear another second. She had earned her award fair and square.
Kim whipped around to face the boys. "Excuse me?"
Both boys turned around and saw Kim. Rather than feel ashamed for her overhearing their insults, they just smirked.
"There she is: the girl of the hour. Tell us, did they reach out to you or did you go crying to them to get this award?"
"I earned my award," Kim spat. "I don't see either of you earning an award."
"These things are a joke! I mean, come on. There are what... 200 athletes in this school? And they picked you? I don't buy it."
"What is so hard to believe about it?" Kim demanded. "I'm on the gymnastics team, I cheer, I do karate. I'm on the news team, I'm the student council president. What more do you want from me?"
One of the boys smirked and stepped forward, tilting his cheek in Kim's direction. "Why don't you pucker up and give me a little kiss?"
The boy closed his eyes expectantly as if he believed Kim would actually kiss him. After the things he said about her!
"That's it!" Kim grunted, shoving the boy into his friend.
It wasn't much, but it knocked them both off balance and sent them painfully tumbling to the ground. They mumbled curses at Kim but she was already turning around and walking away.
"Jack!" she yelped at the sight of Jack standing in front of her.
Jack looked at Kim, and then the pile of boys behind her. He nodded in approval.
"What are you doing back here?" Kim asked, still catching her breath from the shock of seeing him.
"Well, I was going to find you and Milton so we could all go out. Then I heard those boys and I was about to give them a piece of my mind but… I can see you handled that already." Jack gave Kim a proud smile as he looked at the boys that were still struggling to stand up.
Kim smiled sheepishly.
"They're wrong, you know. You deserved that award."
"Thanks, Jack."
"It's true. Come on, let's go get Milton and the others."
Jack casually wrapped an arm around Kim's shoulder and led her out.
Meanwhile, Kim's entire body was on overload. Did Jack even realize what he was doing? He was touching her! Not only was his arm around her, she wasn't wearing any sleeves! It was skin on skin.
Kim was afraid Jack would sense the goosebumps rising on her skin. She was both freezing cold and burning hot, her mind couldn't figure it out and she was incredibly uncomfortable.
"Kim?"
Kim's heart was beating so fast, she could hardly hear anything. If Jack spoke to her she definitely would not hear it.
"Kim?"
Where were they going again? Maybe she should have tried to focus on Jack harder.
"Kim."
"What?" Kim blinked and looked over at Jack, realizing they had stopped walking.
Jack chuckled. "I said your name three times. Where's your head, hm?"
Kim blushed. "Sorry."
"That doesn't answer my question. What were you thinking about?"
Kim stumbled over her words, trying to come up with an answer that wasn't utterly pathetic.
"Uh… just how… I, uh… nothing?"
"Do I make you flustered-"
"Ayo, Kim!" Jerry called, sauntering you to the pair. "Congratulations, Chica. I knew you could do it. I always knew you were just as smart as Milton."
"Jerry, you know I won an athletic award, right?"
Jerry paused for a moment, processing Kim's words before quickly brushing it off. "Of course. I mean, you win an academic award? I'm not an idiot!"
Jack smacked Jerry as Kim sent him a scowl.
"That doesn't mean I am incapable of earning academic awards as well," she grout out.
"Right…"
"Come on, we've got two Wasabis to celebrate tonight." Jack smiled as he pulled Kim towards where Milton was shaking hands with some more administrators.
Kim rode with Jack in his car and Milton opted to ride with Jerry, mumbling about not wanting to third wheel on his special night.
Kim didn't mind. Not one bit.
Maybe she liked torturing herself. Because it was torture. Being so close to Jack was always hard. Especially recently. The invisible pull that constantly forced them together was working harder than ever to unite Kim and Jack. Then there was some other force, something called teenage awkwardness, that fought against the pull. Every time they got too close, Jack or Kim or both would jump back and put up their walls again.
As bad as that tug of war was, tonight was even worse.
Kim wasn't sure exactly why. Maybe it was the way she was dressed. With the guys she was almost always dressed the same as them. Some shapeless gi, covered in sweat, running around Seaford. Tonight, Kim was completely different. Kim was a girl, palpably so.
She was dressed in a beautiful dainty dress. Her hair and makeup were done. She had shaved and lotioned up, pampering herself for the occasion. She felt like a girl and Jack was very obviously a boy.
A boy and a girl. Together. Kim's mind kept reminding her of that fact and she was slowly losing her resolve to hold back.
Luckily for her sanity's sake, Jack broke Kim out of her spiraling thoughts and parked the car in a small ice cream shop parking lot.
Kim was still in a daze, so much so that she hadn't thought to open the door.
Jack hopped out of the car and waited for Kim to follow. After a few seconds of not hearing the door open, he realized Kim hadn't gotten out yet.
Confused, Jack walked around the car and knocked on the window. (Haha you thought he was gonna be sweet and open the door? He's a teenage boy he can't take a hint, be patient with him.)
Kim snapped out of it and glanced over at Jack. He was looking at her with a strange look, eyeing the shop door and Milton and Jerry who were waiting expectantly for Kim to get out.
Sighing, Kim opened the car door and pivoted around. Every moment in a dress and heels was much more complicated. She had to be careful not to flash anyone, not to wrinkle her dress, not to smudge her makeup or tangle her hair. It was a whole process and one that Kim had very little practice in.
Which was why Kim was having trouble stepping out of the car.
She set her feet on the ground shakily and tried to stand up. Her dress rode up a concerning amount and she quickly tugged it back down as a blush rose on her cheeks. She lost balance from the sudden movement and fell back into the car, groaning when she hit her arm against the door frame.
Kim heard Milton and Jerry chuckle as she pulled herself together and used the door to more carefully pull herself out. She scowled at the boys as she turned around to shut the door. Once again, the force of pushing the door closed knocked Kim off balance and she nearly fell again, having to catch herself on the car.
"You ready?" Jack asked, looking at Kim with a hint of amusement.
Kim swallowed the knot in her throat and nodded.
She couldn't help herself as her mind began to wander. Would Jack have caught her if she fell? What would he have done if she had accidentally flashed them? Was she asking for too much? Probably.
When they walked into the small shop, Jack held the door for everyone and Kim followed, feeling a flutter in her stomach at the romantic act.
Then Kim realized she was looking into it too much. Jack held the door for everyone. He was a nice, friendly guy. He was the kind of guy to hold the door. It didn't mean anything.
Kim was the first to order and she got a small milkshake, realizing too late that she didn't have her usual money. Her dress didn't have pockets so all she had on her was her phone. Her wallet she took nearly everywhere was at home.
"Jerry and I are paying, Kim," Jack said from behind.
Kim whipped her head around to look at him, feeling the wind on her bare back as her hair flew out and exposed her skin to the AC.
"We're here to celebrate you and Milton. Don't worry about it," Jack elaborated.
"Oh… thanks. I can pay you back-"
"Hey, listen, chica, I don't pay for just anyone's ice cream. This is probably never happening again so don't make me regret it, alright?" Jerry said, raising his eyebrows at Kim.
Kim nodded quickly and stepped aside for everyone else to order.
When they all had their ice cream, they walked outside to find a table to sit at. Because the shop was so small, the only seating was cheap patio furniture on a concrete slab. As cheap as it looked, the ice cream was delicious and the place had character and charm. Kim actually really enjoyed it.
Kim drank her shake in silence, not sure what to talk about with the guys. If they were at Phil's after a tournament or something, it was easy and simple. They'd talk about their win, they'd trash the Black Dragons, they'd joke around. All of that seemed wrong right now though. It didn't fit. Kim didn't fit.
She was messing up the flow of their group. She was usually easy-going and low maintenance. Now she was using others' money and falling out of cars. What a wreck.
Except, nobody else seemed to notice. They carried on a conversation just like normal.
"You're saying you still think you need to apply for more scholarships? Milton, live your life!" Jack pleaded. "I think the twenty five you've already applied for will be more than enough. Not to mention you're probably going to get a full ride to any college you want."
"Hey, Kim," Jerry called over Jack and Milton's argument.
Kim looked up from her shake and studied Jerry's face. He had that usual suspicious grin that he got before he did something stupid.
"What?" she asked tentatively. "If you're asking me to hook you up with more girls from the squad, the answer is no."
Jerry brushed her off and scoffed. "Of course not. But wait, would you?"
"Jerry!"
"Okay sorry, sorry."
"What were you going to ask?" Kim sighed.
Jerry smirked. "Race to see who can finish their milkshake first?"
Kim smiled, she jumped at every competitive opportunity she had. There was a reason she was named Seaford High's Athlete of the Semester.
"You're on!"
Milton and Jack caught wind of the challenge and sat back to observe. Jack had his bets on Kim, while Milton bet on Jerry. Jack smirked, ready to win. Kim could eat circles around Jerry.
Milton counted them off and the race began.
Jerry got a brain freeze halfway through and Milton began yelling, trying unsuccessfully to motivate Jerry to keep going.
"Don't let me down, Jerry! Do you really want to lose? Chug, Jerry, chug!"
Jack just smiled as he began to shout praise towards Kim.
"You got this, Kim! Keep going! Slow and steady, there you go! You got this!"
Kim appreciated the support, but soon it was getting difficult to continue. A grin broke out on her face and it wasn't exactly conducive to sucking through a straw. Still, Kim did the best she could, and ultimately, she won.
The moment she finished Kim sat up with a big grin while Jack picked up her empty cup and smashed it to prove it was empty. Jack victoriously tossed the cup in the trash can and offered Kim a high five.
Kim was smiling from ear to ear as Jack made his praise known and Milton and Jerry congratulated her on a title well earned. Jerry had tried to argue that if he hadn't gotten the brain freeze he would have won, but soon even he was impressed with Kim.
While the lively group chatted animatedly, Kim couldn't drop her smile. Her cheeks were beginning to feel sore and cold. She hadn't noticed as much before, but with the sun down, the temperature had dropped significantly. Chugging a cold milkshake had done nothing to help.
Feeling a little chilly but having way too much fun to end the night, Kim just wrapped herself up in her arms and nodded along.
After the cheering and joking around began to quiet down, Jack stood up from his seat with a smile. He puffed out his chest a little and to Kim, he looked very official.
"Lady and Gentlemen, please put your hands together for the winner of the night, Miss Kimberly Be-"
"Kim."
Jack smiled wider. "Miss Kim Crawford!"
Jerry and Milton, giddy on sugar and ice cream, cheered loudly, whooping and hollering as they clapped for Kim.
Jack reached a hand out towards Kim and Kim gingerly placed her cold hand in his much bigger and much warmer one.
Jack effortlessly pulled Kim up out of her seat and lifted her arm up high, spinning her around in a circle. The skirt of her dress flew up a little and rippled elegantly through the air.
Jerry wolf-whistled and Kim felt a blush rise on her cheeks.
"To Kim!" Jack cheered.
"To Kim!" the boys echoed.
Kim lifted her gaze from the ground to the table, where the boys were cheering her on, and then to Jack, who was looking at her with such pride and joy and admiration that she thought her heart would burst.
She was so content.
A chilly wind whipped through and Kim couldn't help but shiver, snapping back into reality.
Jack seemed to notice for the very first time that night what Kim was wearing.
She looked ethereal.
But her dress was short and small. It left much of her skin uncovered and Jack could now see the goosebumps on her arms. He followed them up until his eyes reached her bare shoulders. His eyes grazed her collarbone and he knew her back was just as uncovered.
Her legs were bare as well and the closer Jack looked, he realized they were shaking. She was so cold she almost couldn't stand.
She looked so small and vulnerable at that moment. Kim was strong and could take care of herself, Jack knew that. He had seen that even today backstage when some jerks bad-mouthed her. But her arms were so thin, she didn't have much fat to keep her warm and her dress, although beautiful, just reminded him how lean she really was. In her state, she looked different and… breakable.
Jack quickly shrugged off his jacket and wrapped it around Kim tightly without so much as a second thought.
Kim's eyes shot up at the sudden action and she froze.
"We can't have you getting sick," Jack explained, lifting Kim's arms up as he put them in the sleeves.
Kim was completely limp as Jack put the jacket on her. When her arms were through the sleeves, he zipped it up and pulled Kim down to her chair.
Kim shivered and Jack mistakenly thought she was getting colder.
"Come here," Jack said, pulling Kim's chair next to his. Jack wrapped his arms around Kim and began to rub up and down to warm her up. He prayed she didn't have frostbite or something. They were all idiots. He was an idiot. All the guys were wearing pants and shirts and jackets. Kim was wearing a small dress and heels. They hadn't even noticed it was cold and here Kim was, freezing her butt off.
"Th-Thanks," Kim stuttered, shocked by Jack's actions. He had practically ignored all her hints all night and now suddenly he was giving her his jacket and hugging her and being so sweet.
Kim had half a mind to push him away and give him the same friendly treatment he had given her all night. But he really was warming her up and she really did feel a million times better.
Jack offered Kim a small smile.
"You should have told us you were cold," Jack lightly reprimanded.
"I'm not cold!" Kim denied.
"Mhm…" Milton hummed, sending Kim a meaningful look.
Kim frowned and looked at Jerry who was giving her wiggling eyebrows.
When Kim turned to Jack, she realized he was now wearing a short-sleeve shirt.
"Jack, you should keep your jacket. You're just going to get cold now," Kim argued.
"No, I won't."
Kim rolled her eyes. "You're not superman, Jack. Even you get cold."
"Yeah," Jack agreed. "But I can just do this."
"Wh- Eek!" Kim squeaked when Jack suddenly wrapped his arms tight around Kim and pulled her to his chest, snuggling close.
Kim's eyes were wide open as she stared straight ahead, not exactly sure what was happening. Did Jack do that on purpose? Did he know what he was doing? Kim's mind raced with anticipation.
But then Jack didn't say anything. The conversation carried on as if nothing had happened. As if Jack wasn't holding Kim.
Kim couldn't focus or hear anything after that. She heard her friends' voices, but the meaning was completely lost.
Kim lost complete track of time. Rather than question Jack's motives, she just let herself enjoy the position. She was finally warm, especially where Jack's arms wound around her entire body and where his chin rested on the top of her head. Kim's legs dangled helplessly in front of her, still exposed to the chill. She didn't want to leave, she really was having a good time, even if she wasn't participating in the conversation. Her friends' presence alone was enough.
It was half an hour later that Milton finally stood, declaring that he had to study for an online class he was taking at a local college.
Jerry got up too, having to drive Milton home. They said their goodbyes, taking the trash with them and leaving Kim and Jack alone.
"Are you okay, Kim?" Jack asked, absentmindedly rubbing his hands up and down Kim's arms again.
Kim nodded again, hoping to cover up her shudder.
"You've been really quiet," Jack pointed out. "Are you cold?"
Jack looked Kim over again, noticing the way she had tucked her legs close in an attempt to keep them warm. Without thinking, Jack reached down and grabbed Kim's calf, pulling her legs up and tucking them underneath her body. All folded up, Jack was able to wrap all of her up more easily. He rubbed a warm hand along her shins, feeling bad that her legs had been exposed the entire time.
"I'm sorry, we should have left ages ago."
Kim shook her head. "No…" she said, searching for words. For any words. Talking was really hard right now.
"No…" she repeated. "I liked talking with you guys."
"You're cold, though," Jack pointed out.
"You're warm, though," Kim said, borrowing Jack's words.
Jack chuckled, shaking Kim lightly in the process. He didn't say anything, just continued to rub his hand all over Kim's body.
"Jack?" Kim asked in a moment of bravery, biting her lip nervously.
"Hm?"
"Do you like me?" she blurted, immediately regretting it and shutting her mouth. The warmth from Jack's body was doing something to her! She was insane. Who was she, asking Jack if he liked her. Obviously, if he did, he would have said something or done something by now.
Jack laughed. "I like you, Kim."
He did? Why didn't he tell her before-
"You're my best friend, Kim," Jack continued. "Of course I like you. Do you think I spend time with people I don't like?"
"Oh," Kim sighed, realizing Jack had misunderstood her. Whew.
"Why?" Jack asked curiously, taking his chin off her head and looking down at her face. "Why would you ask that?"
Kim shut her mouth and shrugged. "I don't know, just forget it. It's getting pretty late I think we should probably get going, don't you-"
"What did you mean, Kim?" Jack asked thoughtfully, immediately recognizing Kim's rambling. She always did that when things got a little too personal. She pushed people away so easily. Jack wasn't having any of it tonight. Tonight, she was going to be vulnerable.
"Pssh, nothing, Jack," Kim denied, sitting up straight even though she was immediately cold.
"Kim, what did you mean?" Jack asked softly.
Kim shook her head. She couldn't say it out loud.
"Kim?"
"I'm cold."
"Kim."
"I'm really tired."
"Kim."
"Can you take me home? Please?"
Jack sighed as he stood up and pushed in his and Kim's chairs.
Kim began walking to Jack's car, not waiting for Jack. Jack watched her as she scurried for the car. She was still wearing his jacket and it looked funny over her dress. The bottom of her skirt poked out of the bottom. Her legs walked quickly and Jack couldn't help but admire the muscle tone, especially with how her heels made them look.
Shaking his thoughts out of his head, he licked his lips before putting his foot down.
"Kim, wait!" Jack called frustratingly.
Kim stopped and turned around, hugging her arms close to her body, eager to get in Jack's cozy car.
"Hm?"
Jack jogged up to where Kim was standing, not bothering to calm his racing heart.
"When you asked if I liked you, I know what you meant."
Jack took a deep breath.
"I don't think I can last any longer, Kim."
"What do you mean?" Kim asked quietly, innocently.
"I do like you, Kim."
"As friends," Kim nodded. "I know. It was a stupid question, I get it."
"Not a stupid question," Jack argued. "Because you didn't mean as friends. You wanted to know if I liked you. As more than friends."
"No-" Kim denied, shaking her head.
"Yes."
"No, really I was just-"
"I like you, Kim."
"No, I was- wait. Wait. You… You like me?" Kim gasped.
Jack nodded, smirking as Kim processed the information.
"You like me?" Kim repeated.
"Yeah, I do."
Kim unwrapped her arms from around herself and threw her body towards Jack, hugging him tightly.
"I like you, too, Jack."
Jack chuckled. "I know."
"You do?" Kim asked.
Jack nodded. "I saw the way you froze the second I put my hands on you tonight."
Kim blushed. "And the way I stuttered in the car? And how I stumbled in the parking lot? And all the times I hugged you? And when I made you that bracelet? And all the other embarrassing things I've done?"
Jack furrowed his brows. "What do you mean?"
Kim matched Jack's confused look. "What do you mean 'what do you mean?' I've been giving you signs left and right! I've made such a fool of myself in front of you. Are you seriously saying you didn't notice?"
Jack sheepishly shook his head. "Umm… No?"
"What about with your jacket? And when you 'put your hands on me tonight'? Why did you do that?"
"You were cold," Jack shrugged.
"Jack, friends don't do that. How did you expect me to take it?"
"Of course friends do that, I'm your friend."
Kim shook her head. Jack was adorably oblivious. "No, they don't. What would you do if Jerry did that to me, hm? What if Jerry gave me his jacket? What if Jerry hugged me? What if he rubbed his warm hands all over my legs? What if-"
"I get it!" Jack cringed. "I guess I've been kind of stupid…"
"Yeah," Kim agreed. "But I'm glad you finally came to your senses."
"I'm sorry, Kim," Jack apologized, realizing just how hopeful Kim had been and how unresponsive Jack had been. He was the biggest idiot on the planet. To think Kim had been sending him signs for who knows how long and he hadn't seen any of them.
"It's okay, you know now. This means I can finally talk to you about how to treat girls you like."
"What do you mean?" Jack asked curiously. He thought he was treating Kim just fine. He gave her his jacket, he never hit her, never insulted her, what more could she want?
"I mean, when I'm wearing a dress and heels, it would be nice to have someone help me get out of the car in this silly getup. I know you've never worn heels so I'll let this one pass."
"It's that hard to walk in heels?" Jack asked, not realizing heels were any different from any other pair of shoes, aside from looks.
"Worse."
"Well, what are you still wearing them for?" Jack asked, grabbing Kim by the arm and dragging her towards the car.
Kim laughed at his eagerness as she tripped. "Jack! I can't go this fast! I'm in heels, remember?"
"Oh, right, sorry." Jack slowed down comically, letting Kim walk to the car and keeping her arm in a tight grip, now worried she would fall within a moment's notice.
When they reached Jack's car, Jack opened the door and sat Kim down, kneeling down as his hands flew to Kim's ankles. He worked on the straps of her heels, wondering how one was supposed to put the shoes on and take them off. The little buckle was minuscule.
Kim just giggled as she watched Jack try to figure it out, patiently waiting for him to finish. When he finally got the shoes off, he tossed them to the back.
"There, be free little feet!" he joked, patting Kim's feet. Jack grabbed her feet and swung them to the side so she could sit facing the front of the car and Kim gasped at the sudden movement. "How's that?" Jack asked, genuinely looking for approval.
Kim gave him a big smile. "Perfect."
Jack smiled back. Whew. He was learning.
"Well… Almost perfect."
"Oh… What am I missing?"
"Well, usually when a boy likes a girl he does this thing where he gets close and tells her what she means to him and then…" Kim trailed off, deciding to let Jack figure some things out on his own.
Jack suddenly lifted his head up to Kim's slowly closing in on her until his face was so close their noses were practically touching.
"You mean like this?"
Suddenly Jack's lips were on Kim's and she closed her eyes in pure bliss as he kissed her. Jack's hands found Kim's hips under the jacket and moved to her back. She could feel his big fingers spread out the width of her back and press her towards him gently.
When Jack pulled back, Kim was surprisingly coherent.
"Just like that."
"Good, because I'm going to do it again now."
again, I really love your reviews. And again, yeah some stories are going to be intense, some are going to be sweet, some silly, and most some kind of combination. luv y'all
