Lover in me can't stop loving you- Chapter 2
Two days later, Catherine Rollins's home, 9:00 PM, Coronaro, California
Steven and Catherine were watching a movie, the son in her mother's arms.
She was exhausted by her day, and she finished sleeping on the sofa. Steven understood but he hadn't woken her up. He continued to watch the movie Cath had chosen but suddenly, the phone began to ring. Steven, seeing her mother didn't hear it, took the phone and picked up.
The young boy didn't know the person who had called was Steve, who wanted to have some news from Catherine. And he didn't know he was going to talk with his father.
-"Allô?" asked Steven with his little voice.
Steve was surprised when he heard a kid's voice on the phone. He looked at his screen to check he had called the right person, and not someone else.
-"Allô? Does Catherine is here?" he asked.
-"My mom is sleeping, why?" answered the child.
The word "mom" resounded several times in Steve's mind. "Cath has got a baby" he thought.
-"In this case, tell to her I'm gonna call again later, he announced. Good evening."
-"Good evening" replied Steven.
In Hawaii, Steve couldn't realize what happened. "I hope she's happy, he said to himself. She had probably move on, turn the page and said to herself is better to look and go forward".
At the same time, at Catherine's home, she woke up when she heard Steven picking the phone down.
-"Steven! she exclaimed. Why have you taken my phone? I already told said no"
-"I'm sorry, mom. Really"
-"That's not grave, dear, she calmed down. But not anymore"
Steven nodded before his mother gave him a hug. Cath went to put her son in bed next, and when she came down again, she took her phone to look with who her son had talked to. Her mouth opened with surprise when she saw that it was Steve, who wanted to talk with her, and he had talked to his phone.
One month later, Unprecise location, O'ahu, Hawaii
One month has passed since Steve and Steven have talked by phone. Without telling anyone, Steve tried to do some research about a son Catherine could have. But without name and first name, it wasn't easy, and he drawn a blank.
Because Steve didn't know it, but Catherine, when she gave birth to Steven, decided he deserved to have his father's name. That's for this reason Steve couldn't find anything: because he hadn't written Steven Joe McGarrett.
The second name of Steven had appeared to Catherine as an obvious fact, because she knew that's what Steve would like.
A day when Steve and Danny were in car, Danny noticed to sad face of his best friend.
-"Is everything alright, Steve?" he asked him.
-"I'm fine" answered Steve as a machine.
-"Man, you look like sad. What's wrong?" he insisted.
Steve looked at his partner, and understood he needed to talk with someone.
-"Catherine have got a child" he revealed.
-"Catherine? Your Catherine?"
-"She's not my Catherine anymore, but yeah, that's her" he said before tell to Danny the scene of the other evening.
-"Wow, that's really surprised me" confessed Danny, staggered.
-"What's upset me in this story, Danny, is that Catherine never told me, even we're always in contact with her"
-"You're thinking this kid is yours?"
-"Really? Yes"
-"In all cases, Catherine has a life after your story together, so you have to stop thinking about that and accept the situation" Danny declared.
Steve nodded slowly, not convinced at all.
