Smash Mansion
Many of the heroes have left on their mission, with some decided to return home to visit their friends and families, and for Terry Bogard, he's no exception.
"So you're leaving too then ?" Asked Falco.
"Not leave per se, I did agree to come along to see what i'm getting myself into, and after seeing what's just transpire my support to you guys still haven't changed, but I also promise Rock I'll be back soon, and I think I've been staying too long, I'll be back soon once I assure him I'm fine." Terry then teleports with his golden plate back to South Town.
"Everyone with family members have to take a day off sometimes to return home, I guess I'm not burdened with that..." Remarked Falco.
"Considering all of us already here why would yyouleave ?" Asked Slippy.
"What ! Well that's..." Falco is flustered as even though he really see Star Fox team as his family, he's not the type to admit that.
Slippy can only smirk at seeing Falco's reaction, knowing what he's really thinking.
"Never mind that ! Slippy while we're not on mission, we shouldn't waste our time slacking off ! We're going to do simulation training, max difficulty !" Falco grabbed Slippy's arm and dragged him to the training room.
Wii Gym
Chelsea and Stephen return back to work as yoga instructor and personal trainer respectively.
"Well back at work, kinda think we would've finish everything before going back here." Said Chelsea.
"The enemies are forming one massive organization, which makes them well connected to each other, I think it would be difficult to end then so soon." Replied Stephen.
"I suppose you're right they're already forming coalitions among one another and us, we haven't made that many, the enemies even already taking over several places that would be beneficial to us." Continued Chelsea.
"All in due time, we will succeed." Stephen tried to cheer up Chelsea.
"You're right, we can't be impatient, especially since we have wish granting objects to help us out." Chelsea realizes the gains the heroes earned.
"That's right, well let's get to work then, if we're lucky we'll get any info about unusual things happening here." Chelsea and Stephen return to work as they done talking to each other.
Wii Gym - Yoga Class
Chelsea's yoga class has started and all the customers are already inside.
"Alright everyone, for the newcomers, my name is Chelsea and let's start our class." Chelsea started her class as she started her yoga poses.
Wii Gym
"Hey Stephen, glad to have you back buddy." Stephen and his co worker fist bumped.
"Yeah, glad to be back." Replied Stephen.
"Well i already assign someone to you, see if you can guide him in his workout." Stephen's colleague introduce Stephen to his client.
"Hello, ok so your name is Kyle Hyde, let me help you steo by step." Stephen begin to guide Kyle in his workout.
Devil May Cry
Before picking up his family, Ken decided to visit the building of Devil May Cry.
"Why are we here again ?" Asked Ryu.
"Knowing the size of our enemy, it makes sense to have an expert demon hunter don't you think ?" Ken proceed to knock the door, however nobody is answering.
"No one's answering ? Is this the right place ?" Asked Ryu.
"According to Dante's business card it is, and look it even says Devil May Cry on the building." Ken point at the billboard above the building.
"Maybe he's not inside ? Like doing another job or something ?" Guessed Ryu.
"Could be, there are numerous evil demons out there, it won't be surprising Dante is busy with dealing with other demons." Ken agreed with Ryu.
"Hold on Ken, I just realize, is our fallen friends and enemies the only one inducted into Warriors of Fallen Stars ?" Asked Ryu.
"What are you getting at ?" Asked Ken.
"I mean Dante have slain many demons before right ? Have you ever thought if they're a part of Neo Subspace Army ?" Asked Ryu.
Ken then also come to a realization. "You're right, but so far we haven't encountered them yet, who else do we see dies before our eyes ?"
"Bison, the Minamoto Clan, Druaga, Astaroth, Saya, Armor King, Judas, Janga..." Answered Ryu.
"I see your point, but if they do come back that means we have to deal with them too." Said Ken.
"Ken, I'm just going to say this, but if they do come back, we should entrust them with our friends, we have too much on our plate already." Suggested Ryu. "Well assuming they are a part of Warriors of Fallen Stars.
"I sure hope not, but i agree with you we have too many on our plate already, and it looks like Dante's not here, I guess there's no need for us to drag him into our mess, and i keep my family waiting too long." Ken wanting to return to his family used his golden plate to teleport.
Kanzuki Residence
Returning to Kanzuki Residence where Mel and Eliza took refuge, Ken teleported back here and greeted his wife and son. "I'm back !"
The fact Ken nd Ryu suddenly both Karin, Mel, and Eliza. "Ken ? Ryu ? When did you ? How did you ?" Karin is at loss for words as Ken just teleported to her house easily.
Both Mel and Eliza happy to see Ken as they both hugged him.
"Sorry for barging in Karin, I use this to teleport inside." Ken showed Karin and his family his golden plate.
"A gold bar ?" Asked Eliza.
"It looks like a gold bar, but it's not." Ken explained about the golden plate and everything the heroes been through.
"So things are that serious huh, reminds me of that adventure of ours." Karin remembering her world hopping adventure with Ken and everyone else.
"I'm afraid this time the scale is bigger than last time." Said Ryu.
"I'm here to pick up Mel and Eliza, so Karin thank you for taking care of my family when I was away." Ken thanked Karin. "But I believe its time to go back home."
"When times are tough it's natural to help each other, you know Ken, since this problem involving Earth as well, let me help you out as well." Karin Offered her help.
"Thanks Karin, you know there are news about missing athletes, and I believe it's connected to our mission, can you help look into that ?" Asked Ken. "We go too many on our hands already."
"Actually we have been looking into that case, but so far we have found very little clue, hate to say it, the fact they can elude us this long must've means whoever behind this is very capable in covering their tracks." Said Karin. "However as small as it seems we do have something, one of the athletes Ricky Wintergreen was last seen in Manhattan." Karin give a picture to Ken.
Ken and the others take a look at it.
"He's standing outside of a large mansion ? Is that his house ?" Asked Ryu.
"No, that mansion belongs to the Roivas family, not sure why he's there though, he only take a brief look at the mansion and left soon after." Said Karin. "When our ninjas about to chase after him, he vanished the moment he enter a dark alley."
"Either way this is a useful information, thanks Karin." Ken thanked Karin.
Ken then gave the picture to Ryu. "Ryu informed our friends at the mansion."
"Understand." Ryu take the picture and tuck it within his gi.
"Oh right, Ryu let's give the golden plate to Karin, that way we can communicate with each other." Said Ken.
"Sure, Karin take this, that way we can contact each other." Ryu instruct Karin on how to use the golden plate. "So do you understand ?"
"Please as a Kanzuki I'm a fast learner, by the way Ryu, you can teach me on using this, but still wouldn't take disciples ?" Teased Karin.
"This and that are different matter." Ryu is flustered.
"You won't be young forever you know, just a food for thought." Continued Karin.
"I'll...keep that in mind." Ryu answered nervously.
"Well that's that, thanks for what you did for us Karin, but I think we'll be on our way now." Said Ken.
"You and your family always welcome here, so how will you go back to America ? I can arrange a private jet if you'd like ?" Offered Karin.
"Thanks, but i'll be using this." Ken pull put his golden plate. "I'll send you back first Ryu." Ken send Ryu back to the mansion with his golden plate.
"Now, Mel, Eliza let's go home, get ready to experience teleportation for the first time." Ken used his golden plate to teleport him and his family back to his mansion in America.
Karin is looking at her golden plate. "If things are that dire, I wonder if I should gather allies again like i did when we decide to take down Shadaloo ?"
Southtown - Terry's Apartment
"Rock I'm back ! Sorry it took so long." Terry opened the door.
Rock who is currently cooking at the kitchen turn off the fires, approached Terry and then complained to him. "You really had me worried you know ! it's been days since you decided to go with them !"
"I know, I said I'll be back soon, but things gets a little...complicated along the way." Terry apologized to Rock.
"So the fact that you returned unscathed means nothing bad happened to you right, so what did you find out ?" Asked Rock.
"First of all there's nothing to worry about your crush, Lucina is a genuinely sweet girl." Teased Terry.
Rock's face turns red and denying Terry's claim. "I-it's nothing like that !"
"Okay, okay that's enough teasing, but here's the serious part." Terry told Rock about what happened during his stay at Smash Mansion.
Hearing this Rock just can't believe Terry's words.
"I know, it's very hard to believe, but I've seen it myself, I was inside a spaceship in China watching them brawling with their enemies." Said Terry.
"Did you say China ?" Rock point Terry to the TV. "Terry, does this have anything to do with you ?"
Terry look at the TV and it's airing news about a mysterious destruction at China warehouse district.
"Yeah, we kinda responsible for that, although to be fair i'm only observing from the spaceship, everyone else did all the fighting." Terry scratching the back of his head. "I'll come back later and make a wish to undid the destruction later."
"Spaceship ? Make a wish ?" Asked Rock.
"Yeah, get this there's actually a wish granting object at that mansion, sounds like something from a fairy tale right ? But I've seen it myself." Said Terry.
"Wow, a real wish granting object.." Rock is at a loss for words.
"Hey maybe you can wish your shyness towards women away." Terry continues teasing Rock.
Rock is getting annoyed by Terry's teasing and proceed to change the subject. "So you think this is bigger than Verse and Otoma Raga ?"
"Afraid so, and seeing how Billy after us the last time it's safe to say they might try recruit Geese to their cause." Said Terry.
"Say Terry, are they still accepting new people ?" Asked Rock.
"Should've known you would say that, maybe I shouldn't tell you about Billy or Geese." Terry regrets mentioning their name.
"I would've asked even if you didn't mention their name." Clarified Rock.
"Fine, but promise me you won't join for revenge, don't prioritize yourself above the team goals understand." Terry give Rock a stern warning.
"Yeah, I promise to restrain myself." Rock nodded.
"Good, now that's out of the way I haven't had breakfast." Said Terry.
"Alright, I'll make you some pancakes, i also wanted to ask you about the spaceship, but that can wait for later." Rock went back to the kitchen.
Terry wanted to use the bathroom first, but then someone came out, a man with long blonde hair wearing a white gi.
"Andy ! You were in there the whole time !?" Terry surprised to see his brother.
"Yes, and well I pretty much heard everything, your story is so interesting i don't want to interrupt it and I ended up listening to the whole thing." Andy hear everything from the bathroom. "It's so interesting I want to take part myself."
"Well i don't mind, we do lack manpower, but this is also a very dangerous thing to get involved into." Warned Terry.
"Yeah, i can see that, but if something like Verse and Otoma Raga show up again, we at least better prepared against another supernatural threats." Said Andy.
"Well you do have a point there, fine I'll introduce you and Rock to everyone later, they're on a mission right now so the mansion only have few people there." Terry then entered the bathroom.
"I forgot to mention to Terry you're here uncle Andy." Rock said to Andy.
"With that story he tells, who isn't going to get hooked on it ?" Replied Andy.
Wii Gym
"Alright everyone, that's all for today's class." Chelsea's class is over and the attendees left the classroom.
However Chelsea notices one of her students felt uneasy so she decided to talk to her, she's a blonde haired woman and wearing a glasses.
"Is everything alright ? During class earlier your body seems very stiff ? First time doing yoga ?" Asked Chelsea.
"Oh yeah, I guess a lot of things have been happening." Said the woman.
"You know I haven't seen you here before ? First time ?" Asked Chelsea.
"Yeah, my husband suggested this, my name's Rachel by the way." The woman introduce herself.
"Alright Rachel, I'm Chelsea, and I don't mind listening, I've been through some things myself, things people wouldn't believe." Chelsea speak in a deadpan tone at the last sentence.
"Well i guess it wouldn't hurt to tell someone about this, sure I'll take you up on your offer." Rachel agrees to Chelsea's suggestion.
"Well I tell you my story if you tell me yours." Said Chelsea as the two women headed to the lounge.
Wii Gym - Lounge
Once arrived both Chelsea and Rachel sits on the chairs that rather far from everyone else.
"So..where do I begin ? Well what about..." Before Rachel can go on Stephen approached Chelsea, but he's not alone.
"Oh hey Stephen." Greeted Chelsea.
"Kyle ?" Rachel is surprised.
"You know this man ?" Asked Chelsea.
"Yeah, he's my husband who I told you earlier." Answered Rachel.
"I've been instructing Mr. Hyde." Said Stephen.
"Haven't been working out in a while, I think I should try getting back in shape." Said Kyle.
"So how's your workout been ?" Asked Rachel.
"It's been fine, just remember not to push myself too much." Said Kyle.
"Forcing yourself only give you strain, you need to take things slowly." Adviced Stephen.
"Yes, yes I know, so what were you talking about ? Did we interrupt ?" Asked Kyle.
"Well I'm just getting started to be honest, and Kyle, I don't think I can just keep my mouth shut about this." Said Rachel.
"But who else would believe us ? The people I met at that ship, I have no way of contacting them." Said Kyle.
"What ship ?" Chelsea is getting curious.
"Would you believe me if I say I was in a spaceship ?" Asked Kyle.
"Actually we do." Answered Chelsea which surprised Kyle.
"You do ?" Kyle is still unconvinced, but he and Stephen took a seat.
"So tell us about the story." Implored Chelsea.
Kyle then tell Chelsea and Stephen, of how he went to the Vivosaur Park, witnessing the Vivosaur rampage first hand and got sent to Heaven, and their return to Earth.
"Wow that's quite the story." Replied Stephen.
"So you're one of the people Popo and Nana met before they come to get us." Said Chelsea.
"You know Popo and Nana ?" Asked Kyle.
"Yeah, so did they already told you about the tournament ?" Asked Chelsea.
"They have, can't believe they put children in a fighting tournament." Said Kyle.
"It's not as bad as it looks, Master Hand is very equal opportunity." Replied Chelsea.
"To go so far as including children ?" Continued Kyle.
"Yeah, you need to ask Master Hand for that, although we are trying to find him." Said Chelsea.
"What do you mean by that ? Is he missing ?" Asked Kyle.
"Yeah, our enemies got to him, so far we weren't able to locate him." Answered Chelsea.
"That so...Rachel, why don't we help them out ?" Asked Kyle.
"You want to get involved in this Kyle ?" Rachel is surprised.
"Considering our prospect of getting a job is getting smaller and smaller why not ?" Said Kyle.
"Huh ? But you and Rachel still in your 30s right ?" Asked Stephen.
"The truth is..." Rachel told them what happened.
"So you two supposed to be in your 60s but you somehow return to your 30s appearance ? Yeah this is our friend's doing, he needed a means to gather all of us, sorry that you two got caught in it."
"I used to be a cop, I'm sure I can be helpful." Said Kyle.
"I used to work as a secretary, though I'm not sure how helpful that is." Said Rachel.
"You don't need to be a fighter to work with us, also we don't actually get paid either, if you want money you can go to the shop inside the spaceship and make a wish for it." Explained Chelsea.
"Wait !? Wishing for money ?" Rachel sounds surprised.
"We're not dealing with just Earth anymore, so we have seen many things that doesn't exist here, like a wish granting object." Explained Stephen.
"So yeah I can see why it would be difficult for you two to apply for jobs again, no one would believe people who would be born in the 1940s would still look like this." Chelsea agreed with Kyle's excuse.
"It would beats doing nothing at the very least." Said Stephen.
"Our base of operation is a large mansion located in another world, we'll show you how to get there later." Said Chelsea.
Mac's Apartment
Doc and Mac return back to their apartment, with Little Mac suspension ended, he's available to get back to the ring. Doc Louis on the other hand have been receiving phone call from WVBA and asking for a meeting.
"Is it really wise to do this ? The world is about to end and yet here I am talking about my matches." Mac thinking of his priority.
"Remember Mac, you told me yourself that Super Macho Man is the one pushing for your suspension, now do you think Neo Subspace Army have infiltrate WVBA ?" Asked Doc.
"True, I guess there's a benefit of me coming back to the ring, if Neo Subspace Army have their tentacles on WVBA it's likely SMM isn't the only one, my other suspect is Aran Ryan, or Bald Bull." Mac speculating possible enemies within WVBA.
"Those two are quite antagonistic to you so I won't be surprised either." Sighed Doc.
"Okay, so is there any changes to my schedule ? I know the suspension is just to save face, but still."
"Can't say there is, so far your upcoming match with Glass Joe is still going to happen in a week." Said Doc.
"Him huh ? I guess if it's Glass Joe it wont be too hard ?" Asked Mac.
"Dont underestimate him, i've heard from WVBA Glass Joe has raking up victories." Warned Doc Louis.
"Glass Joe of all people ? Now I'm starting to include him as possible collaborator." Pondered Mac.
"There's plenty of reason for that Mac, when victory seems out of reach some people will resort to easy way out." Explained Doc. "It's possible by making deals with Neo Subspace Army Glass Joe is promised winning matches.".
"Now get ready to head to WVBA while I try to dig some dirt on SMM." Doc and Mac decided to head to WVBA Stadium.
WVBA Stadium - Locker Room
Mac went to the locker room, looking around for nostalgia sake while Doc is having a meeting with the WVBA manager. "How long has it been since I was last here ? I devoted everything to rise to the ranks here, the idea of Neo Subspace Army infiltrating this place is..."
"Hey Mac !" Someone called for Mac, and as he turned around he saw a blonde brown skinned man waved at him.
"Oh hey Disco Kid, what are you doing here ? You got a match ?" Asked Mac.
"Yeah, but not today though, I'm here for some training for my upcoming match, been coming here since last week, hey glad to see you're no longer suspended." Said Disco Kid.
"Thanks, the others must be really upset hearing that news." Mac chuckled a little.
"SMM wished for your suspension to last much longer." Remarked Disco Kid. "Honestly everyone here is such a sore loser."
"So you've been here since last week right ? That's quite the dedication." Compliment Mac.
"Thanks, because I don't plan to lose after all." Replied Disco Kid.
"Right, so anything happen while I was gone ?" Asked Mac.
"Hmm...not sure if there's anything to it but, few days ago i saw the managers having a meeting with shady looking people, but as curious as I am, I don't know what they talked about, the managers won't tell me." Said Disco Kid.
"What about the others ?" Asked Mac.
"Others ? Well so far the ones we know have raking win after win, Aran, Bull, Hippo, even Glass Joe gaining wins." Said Disco Kid.
"Even Joe huh ? So it's true what Doc said." Replied Mac. "No offense to him but things are getting fishy."
Right after this Mac's phone is vibrating, Mac take a look to see a text message from Doc. "Mac come see me in the office."
Mac's face turned suspicious. ("Why is Doc sent me this kind of message ?")
"Hey Mac...you ok ?" Disco Kid worried seeing Mac's face.
"Oh yeah, i'm fine, anyway Doc wanted to see me, I better go to him." Mac leave the locker room.
"Umm...okay ?" Disco Kid is confused by Mac's attitude.
WVBA Building
Mac tried to call for Doc, soon Doc pick his phone. "Doc you ok ? What happened !? Whats with that weird message ?"
"Calm down Mac, I'm in one of the offices, where are you now ?" Asked Doc.
"I just got out from the locker room." Answered Mac.
"Okay so you're not far, I'm coming to get you." Doc turn off communication as Mac put his phone back in his pocket.
Doc then found Mac and bring him into one of the offices in the building.
WVBA Building - Unused Office
Doc and Mac entered the unused office.
"So Doc what happened ?" Asked Mac.
"OK so I went to talk to the manager about your future matches, so far there aren't much changes to your schedule, but you did got added one match with TJ Combo, apparently Ultratech is interested in WVBA." Said Doc.
"Ultratech ? You don't think they...you know ?" Mac sounded worried.
"I hope not, the last thing we want is to have a huge corporation as an enemy." Sighed Doc.
"True, so why do you want to see me in someplace like this ?" Mac remind Doc.
"Shortly after the meeting i stumbled upon the men who tried to capture us, I remember his face." Explained Doc.
"Those Nile guys ?" Asked Mac.
"Right, luckily they didn't see me as I immediately hide and carefully watch them from afar, that's when I texted you." Said Doc.
"I see, so what should we do ? Are the higher ups know what they gotten themselves into ?" Asked Mac.
"Doesn't seem they do if I'm being honest, when I talk to the manager he seems...scared somehow." Said Doc. "He didn't say any more than that."
"It's possible they may coerced WVBA to get in here, as much as i hate this, for now we got what we came here for, let's leave." As Mac pull out his golden plate someone open the door.
A masked figure wearing a suit, hat, gloves, and practically anything that covers his body, the man take a fighting stance and throw a punch at Mac.
"Who are...?" Mac was able to dodge and uppercut the Masked Man, launching him up in the air and knocking him down.
"Doc ! We need to...!" Mac turned around to Doc, but Doc point at the Masked Man as he got up again, acting like Mac's attack barely hurt him.
The Masked Man taking another stance, but this time Doc who punch him in the face before he can do anything, sending him crashing to a wall as Doc and Mac left the room.
WVBA Building - Hallway
The Masked Man got up again and give chase to Doc and Mac, this time the Masked Man grab a gun and begin shooting.
While the Masked Man missed several shot, and for the latest one, he managed to shot Doc Louis at the leg, causing him to fall.
"Doc !" Mac turned back to save his mentor.
"No Mac ! Get out of here ! Save yourself !" Doc told Mac to leave.
However Mac refused to listen, and as his anger build up, Mac's body become larger and he transform into his Giga Mac form.
The Masked Man keep on shooting, however Giga Mac is highly resistant to the bullets as he's able to approach the Masked Man unharmed.
Giga Mac then charged at the Masked Man and punch him very hard, sending him flying very far away.
Now that he's gone Giga Mac revert back to regular Mac.
"Doc !" Mac return to Doc Louis side to see Doc healing himself with the healing materia.
The bullet in his leg is removed and the bleeding is completely stopped.
"Doc, you brought a materia with you ?" Asked Mac.
"Yeah, just in case though, and it ended up happening." Said Doc.
"And you told me to leave you behind because of this ?" Asked Mac. "Because you think he would chase me ?"
"Sorta, I can't heal myself with him watching, he could've knocked my materia away." Replied Doc.
"You know you're a target too right ?" Ever thought of him ignore me and capture you instead ?"
"Alright point taken." Doc relented.
"Well I can see why you think he wont come after you, anyway Doc can you stand ?" Mac extend his hand to Doc Louis.
"Yeah." Doc grabbed Mac's hand and got up.
The Masked Man returned again, but this time, thanks to the injuries, he can't walk normally as he takes careful steps slowly.
"Great, He's back again !" Complained Mac.
"Mac, looks like you did a number on him, he can't walk normally anymore." Said Doc.
"And yet he persists in going after us." Mac is ready for another fight.
Doc and Mac take a closer look as the Masked Man mask is cracked.
The Masked Man ready for another fight despite his condition, however a shout can be heard from afar.
"MAC !" Disco Kid quickly punched the Masked Man and knocking him down.
The masked man got up, and rather than continuing to pursue Mac and Doc, he decided to leave as he walk a different way from where Doc and Mac are standing.
"OK, that was weird ?" Mac is confused. "What was that all about ?"
"I wonder if that guy just testing you or something ?" Pondered Doc.
"It doesn't look like it, why is he trying to shoot with a gun ?" Mac then turned to Disco Kid. "Sorry you got dragged into this Disco."
"Man, that was scary." Said Disco Kid.
"Unfortunately this is going to be a routine for me." Sighed Mac.
"Disco Kid ? How do you know we were here ?" Asked Doc.
"I heard gunshot, I was afraid to come out, but I forced myself to, and then I saw that Masked Man trying to shoot you, what was that about ?" Asked Disco Kid.
"Disco, I'm just gonna be honest, I believe WVBA have been infiltrated by a criminal organization." Mac revealed this news to Disco Kid.
"What ? Criminal organization ? Why would they have interest in WVBA ?" Asked Disco Kid.
"Well this place isn't exactly following standard boxing rules anyway, so maybe they want to exploit that for profits, like making betting or something." Guessed Mac.
"Mac, if there's anything I can help just say so, I can't stand to see if WVBA become corrupt." Disco offered his help.
"Hmm...can you check on the other fighters for me ? Like Aran Ryan or SMM ? I got a feeling those two are working with them." Said Mac.
"Of course, leave them to me !" Disco Kid agreed to it.
"OK, here take this, you'll need it." Mac give Disco Kid his golden plate.
"A gold bar ?" Asked Disco Kid.
"No, it only look like a gold bar, but actually..." Mac explain the purpose and use of golden plate. "So you got it ?"
"Yeah, I'll see what I can found out about Aran or SMM about this." Disco Kid take the golden plate and left.
"You sure you want to involve him in this ?" Asked Doc.
"He's already involved anyway the moment Neo Subspace Army set their sights on WVBA." Replied Mac. "But I still haven't told him about Neo Subspace Army."
"Guess so, what about the others ?" Asked Doc.
"Considering many of them hates me, let's try asking help from who don't hate me like Piston Hondo or Bear Hugger." Suggested Mac.
"Guess we're going to Canada and Japan then." Said Doc.
Museum
Vince and Nikki walk around the Museum looking at Vince's painting displayed on the walls.
"Wow Mr. Vince, you must be so proud to see your paintings hanged on the walls for people to see like this." Said Nikki.
"It sure is, I was very surprised when someone came to the academy and decided to buy all of my paintings." Said Vince.
"This Museum, is newly built right ?" Asked Nikki.
"It appears so, but...they sure have unusual stuff on display here." Vince looked at a Stone sculpture resembling Luminoths.
"I have to agree, here we have...crown of Princess Shokora ruler of Golden Pyramid...do we have a princess named Shokora in the past ?" Questioned Nikki.
"Not sure there's anyone like that if I recall." Pondered Vince.
"Ah welcome my guests, enjoying the exhibits I presume ?" A voice calls out to Vince and Nikki.
"Oh you are ?" Vince saw an effeminate looking man with long red hair and looks quite unnerving.
"Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Yuga, I'm the new director of this museum." The man introduced himself.
"It's an honor to meet you sir, my name is Vince and this is my former protege Nikki." Vince introduced himself and Nikki.
"Vince ? Ah so you're Vince ? You're the artist who made most of the paintings in this very hall, you are a very talented man if I say so myself." Yuga compliments Vince. "When my subordinates show me your paintings I just know we need to have it here."
"Oh, well that's very kind of you sir." Vince is blushing from all the compliments.
"Excuse me Mr. Yuga." Nikki interject. "Not to disbelief you or anything, but where are the rest of your exhibits come from ? The princess Shokora crown for example ?"
"Ah you got quite the eye for detail, you see most of the exhibits here came from obscure parts of history, one that only very few make it to historical records, people have heard of Persian Empire, Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, what i'm looking for is the lesser known." Yuga then show Vince and Nikki a Mani Mani Statue.
"Take this statue for example, a archeology professor found it at the bottom of Pacific Ocean, but as he's underequipped at the time he ask for help from a diving company to pull the statue back to the surface, so far we don't know anything about this statue or it's origins, but that's what we wished to find out." Explained Yuga.
"I see, and that sculpture ?" Nikki point out the Luminoth sculpture.
"We found that one buried in Australia, some says it's even extraterrestrial in origins, should my theories proven true, it could point to an exciting revelation, like how many times aliens visited Earth or something like that." Said Yuga.
"Mr. Yuga I apologized for doubting your goals." Nikki apologized. "There's a lot we don't know about our planet's past, uncovering everything even the lesser known is no small task."
"Don't fret Miss Nikki, it's not my first time receiving dubious look, if anything I will not let other people's skepticism getting in the way of fulfilling my ambitions." Yuga easily forgive Nikki.
"Now if you'll excuse me I have matters to attend to, feel free to enjoy the rest of our exhibits." Yuga left Vince and Nikki.
"I have to say this statue does look ominous." Commented Nikki.
"I agree...well Nikki I'm going to continue touring the museum, maybe it'll give me inspiration for my next work." Said Vince.
"Y-yeah, me too." Vince and Nikki continues their tour of the museum.
Soon after Vince and Nikki left, Alex and Natia arrived and take a look at the Mani Mani Statue.
"Okay according to Oceana this is the statue she picked up." Said Natia.
"No offense, but this is a hideous looking statue, what are those people from the past thinking making stuff like this." Comment Alex.
"It's not so bad, at least unlike me you've never been in real danger, the Song of Dragons are no joke." Said Natia.
"Ahahah, yeah...you're right..(Oh Natia, you had no idea what I've been through either.") Alex remember her conflicts with the alien gods.
Alex continue to looked at the statue, and soon she felt something malevolent as she fall on her knees.
"Alex ! You okay ?" Natia grabbed her and help her get up.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little tired." Said Alex.
"Okay, let's go to my place for now, I already got to see what I need anyway." Natia and Alex decided to leave the museum.
Fortuna Entertainment
Wanting to know more about the source of great power, Kazuya Mishima decided to visit Fortuna Entertainment because of their involvement with the incident.
While Itsuki pretty much refuse meeting with Kazuya, that doesn't stop him from forcing himself through.
"So Mr. Mishima, what brings you to our humble office ?" Asked Itsuki.
"I understand you refuse my offer, well I happen to be at the area and I should at least introduce myself." Kazuya make a smug smirk.
"I apologize for turning you down, we're just busy at the moment, and well there are news about you being an actual demon." Said Itsuki.
"A mere propaganda made by Mishima Zaibatsu to slander me, they can't handle the competition so they resort to cheap tactics to get ahead, now you Mr. Aoi, there are very few CEO's before the age of 20s, this is a position that cannot be given frivolously, I'm curious about what you did to earn such high ranking position ?" Kazuya changed the subject.
"I receive my position because of my friends trust in me, I believe the purpose of leader isn't just about bossing or telling people what to do, but also to guide and explore the potentials of your followers, from those experiences that's what convince them to put me in charge." Answered Itsuki.
Kazuya seems to frown a little. "I see, let me give you a little advice, try not to rely on other people too much, with enough power you would be able to stand on your own without needing too much help."
"Now, my reason for contacting you earlier is I'm asking to work together with G Corp, I'm sure it will be beneficial to both of us." Kazuya made his offer.
"If it's about making propaganda, I have to refuse." Warn Itsuki.
"I assure you it's nothing like that, now then there is something else, you booked a show at Namco Theater, but the event had to be ended early, what happened there ?" Asked Kazuya.
Itsuki surprised about that question, he tried to answer it as evasive as possible. "There was an accident with some of the equipment, that's why we had to end the concert early."
"I see, well G Corp have some influence to Namco Theater, we could help fund your next project should you wish to use the theater again." Offered Kazuya.
"Thank you Mr. Mishima, I'll keep that in mind." Itsuki thanked Kazuya.
"Before I leave, G Corp receive some footage at the day of incident, i saw some familiar faces among them, like Ryu, I didn't know you know each other." Said Kazuya.
"No, he happen to be at the theater." Answered Itsuki.
"Did he now ? Hard to believe Ryu would be there, well regardless I do hope our encounter prove useful, you have great potential Mr. Aoi, looking forward to work with you soon." Kazuya got up from his seat and exit the building.
Once Kazuya is gone Itsuki leaning on the chair and sighed. "I'm glad that's over."
Everyone from Fortuna quickly rushed to his side. "Itsuki you okay ?" Tsubasa sounds worried.
"I've heard Kazuya Mishima is an imposing man, but seeing it in real life is just..." Touma is just as loss for words.
"Even I doubt I can keep myself composed speaking to that man, that was impressive Itsuki." Said Yashiro.
"Be careful Itsuki, Kazuya Mishima is not to be trusted easily." Warned Maiko.
"I know, thank you for your concern, his presence is very overwhelming." Said Itsuki.
"Still, it's doubtful this will be the last time we see him, what are we going to do then ?" Asked Kiria.
Itsuki pull out the golden plate from his pocket and staring at it.
Limousine
Kazuya left the building and entered the car.
"So how's the meeting ?" Asked Nina who is Kazuya's chauffeur.
"They know something, and I will catch them in the act." Said Kazuya. "Also unrelated to my goals, but they really need better office."
"The CEO is quite firm and at the very least have a backbone, but let's see if that's enough to keep me at bay, as always I will crush those who stands in my way." Kazuya looked at his fists.
"You're dealing with a high school age kid, it's already obvious who would win in physical confrontation." Replied Nina. "Speaking of which it's time for your 'otherworldly' meeting, so are you going to make the 'mess with me and suffer the consequences' impression on them ?"
"If they value their well being they would not mess with me, my presence there will show why Earth is not a world to be messed with." Said Kazuya.
Ultratech
At the CEO office there's a female looking robot looking at a screen, what is shown at the screen is the footage of Little Mac confronting the Masked man when he transform into his Giga Mac form.
"This is fascinating, he receive a surge of power and turn him into this form." The robot fascinated by Little Mac's transformation.
"After what we've been told about Little Mac we have been keeping tabs on him, he surely be useful to be our research subject." A voice came from another screen. "Putting a bodycam on our agent a no brainer."
"Indeed it is, if we can unlock the secret of this power, humanity will be a force to reckon with, you have showed me something interesting Miss Sofia Callaghan." ARIA thanked Sofia.
"The resources from Ultratech also prove useful to us Miss ARIA, may this cooperation yield great result." Replied Sofia.
"Agreed, after the revelation of otherworlds out there, I need to have every methods available to defend humanity from them, even if it means feigning alliances." ARIA vows to protect Earth, by any means necessary.
So this is just a short, filler episode, honestly I don't know how else to expand this story.
Sorry that it took so long, I just don't know what else to add to this chapter, I guess this is all for this chapter.
