Seto and Yami's duel finally comes to an end. And Yami Marik never seems to learn his lesson lmao.

Erin's POV

"Damn their neck in neck"

Zane was right both Seto and Yami were at 1900 and 1500 life points each.

Seto told Yugi he was at a disadvantage since Seto's dragons were stronger than Red Eyes and Dark Magician.

My Zaldrizes put two cards down and Yami drew. He looked at his hand before setting a card face down and put Red Eyes into defense position. But Seto activated his trap card Final Attack Order meaning all monsters on the field stayed in attack mode. There was also another catch: each duelist had to pick three cards from their decks and discard the rest of their hand.

I looked to my mate and I had a hunch what he was planning. My bet he was planning to bring out Ultimate Dragon. Seto chose his three cards and discarded the rest of his hand while Yami took a few minutes to make his decision. Then he chose his three cards and put the rest of his deck into the graveyard.

As I expected, Seto played Monster Reborn, and his last Blue Eyes returned to the field. Then one of his face-downs turned out to be Polymerization. I watched in awe as the three Blue Eyes formed into one and Ultimate Dragon roared.

Seto then shot me and Mokuba a glance. My beloved gave us a smirk and then returned his attention to his opponent. Yami played Double Spell and Seto had a panicked look on his face as Yami used his magic card to first mimic Monster Reborn. Buster Blader joined Dark Magician and before Polymerization was used to combine Dark Magician and Buster Blader to form Dark Paladin.

Yami's new monsters gained 500 attack points for every monster on the field, and it was 3900, but still too weak to defeat Ultimate Dragon. My Zaldrizes laughed while Yami drew and set a card face down.

Ultimate Dragon then obeyed Seto as he commanded it to attack. The three-headed dragon opened three mouths, and its attack began to form. But Yami countered with Magician Formula but wasn't expecting Seto to counter with Absorb Spell. Ultimate Dragon was now at 5000, and Seto's monster unleashed its fury.

Zane and I again held onto one another as Mokuba got excited. Just as it seemed Seto was going to win Yami was ready for him. He revealed De-Fusion and my mate had an "Oh Crap" look on his face as Ultimate Dragon reverted to three separate Blue Eyes White Dragons. Dark Paladin's attack rose to 4900.

The Spirit of the Millennium Puzzle then drew his final card and played Diffusion Wave Motion; at the cost of 1000 life points, Dark Paladin could eliminate all monsters on the field. Knowing he was about to lose I looked to my boyfriend. Instead of rage in his eyes was a look of acceptance.

Dark Paladin rose its staff and unleashed its attack. All of Seto's dragons were destroyed and my Zaldrizes lost the remainder of his life points. Mokuba then fell to his knees and I was soon beside him. I gave him a hug and did my best to comfort him. I then heard Yami Marik chuckle darkly. And that laugh was meant as an insult to Seto.

Promising I would be back I stormed my way over to Marik's dark half and sucker punched him hard in the face.

"Holy shit!" Joey exclaimed. "Go, Erin!"

"Take your evil ass out of here" I hissed. "You will not insult my mate in my presence, you bastard"

Yami Marik glared at me while holding the spot where I just punched him. He then sulked away and I gave another hiss before rejoining Mokuba and Zane.

Seto's POV

Seeing Erin defend me against Marik was something I hadn't been expecting. But her actions alone made me love her even more. Mokuba didn't seem to be upset anymore from my defeat another thing Erin helped with.

"Kaiba"

Yugi was in front of me now.

"That was the most challenging duel you've ever fought"

"It would seem so" I agreed.

"Say what?! Is Kaiba actually not upset he lost?!"

I did a mental eye roll. Of course, Wheeler would act like that.

"I accept my defeat like a man but one day Yugi I will regain my title"

Yugi smirked at this and I retrieved Obelisk out from my deck. I was going to miss it, but I honored my rules, and I flung my Egyptian God Card to Yugi.

"Treat that card right, Yugi," I advised my rival before making my way toward my girlfriend and Mokuba.

Erin's POV

Mokuba ran to his brother and I watched as Seto ruffled his hair. Deciding to let the two brothers have a moment alone I turned to Zane.

"You look relieved that the duel is over"

"It was starting to get too long" Zane pointed out. He then looked at my hand. "Are you sure your hand is okay, sis?"

"It's fine, you dork quit being overprotective," I growled. I then turned to Ishizu. "Sorry for punching Marik's dark half but I wasn't going to stand by and let that asshole insult my mate"

"No worries, Erin," Ishizu reassured me.

The tombkeeper then dragged Zane away as Seto came on over.

"You okay my Zaldrizes?"

My beloved gave me a smile.

"I'm fine Kitsune"

He picked my hand up and kissed it.

"I'm proud of you Seto know that"

My boyfriend chuckled and he gave me another kiss, this time on the forehead.

"We're going to stick around and watch the last duel," Mokuba explained, coming to his brother's side.

"Are you sure your hand isn't broken?"

I shot Seto a glare.

"Seto, don't push it," Mokuba warned.

"You can't blame me for her well-being kid"

"Kaiba"

Zane approached and I wondered what he wanted. I then recognized the familiar gleam in his eyes.

"Zane you can't be serious!"

Seto and Mokuba were confused.

My brother smirked.

"I'm dead serious sis, Kaiba if your interested I challenge you to a duel"

My Zaldrizes immediately smirked as well.

"I accept your challenge, you've proven you're a worthy duelist but just because I'm your sister's mate don't think I'll go easy on you Zane"

"Holy crap!" Mokuba and I said in unison.

"Good to hear now since this is your stomping ground Kaiba, you choose the spot for our duel"

"Gladly" Seto agreed. "This will be interesting"
