Crafty Entrance Both Old and Young

"Yeah, forget what I said about this glass blowing thing not being hard…" Inuyasha looked down in disappointment at himself with a slightly tone of complaining.

"It's really, really, really hard." Inuyasha said.

When he and the others are starting to make glass equipment, they thought it was going to be a breeze to make them like how Senku make it sound when he explains it, but they all learn soon the hard way that glass making blow is very hard that require skills and perfect focus to do this.

And the ones they made so far are all terrible, misshape, and just very weird looking that you want to look away, but you can't.

"Hey, that's fine. This was our first try. When I started making clay pots, it took months before they looked decent." Senku mentioned with a little chuckle.

"Yeah, I don't think months is gonna work for us." Inuyasha pointed out that time is not on their side.

"Of course, it's not! We don't have months to get it right this time!" Chrome yelled angrily.

"Ruri's health doesn't seem to be getting better." Kohaku worried, having seen her big sister a few days ago just to check up on her.

"Sorry, guys, but I really have no idea on how to do this soft of thing." Inuyasha apologized.

"Either of us are expert glass craftsmen. For me, I have to learn by trial and error." Senku said.

"Man, if only we have one or two people who knows how to do crafting stuff since most of their lives or something." Inuyasha groaned.

"Two people." Kohaku said softly.

"Craftsmen." Chrome said that word as well.

Chrome and Kohaku look at each other for a moment getting the feeling that they are both of thinking the same thing, thinking of the very two people in the village who are known to be gifted craftsmen.

"Alright, Chrome, you go into the village and the get the old. I'll head out into the forest to get her as well, we're gonna need both of them." Kohkau said as she ran off into the forest.

"Hey, where are you guys going?" Inuyasha asked Kohaku.

"Don't worry, this won't take long! Just stay there and I'll be back!" Kohaku yelled back before disappearing into the forest.

"Oh yeah, this is gonna be so bad!" Chrome screamed.

"What do you think that's all about?" Inuyasha asked Senku and Suika.

"Don't know, but if I had to guess then it's probably about our glass making situation." Senku said as he looks down at the poorly made glass cases.

The three waited for the two to come back after a while, Inuyasha is training Suika with her speed like getting from one tree to the other way on the other side of the open space.

"Not bad, but you're moving your legs too much all over." Inuyasha nodded.

"So, while we're waiting for those two. How about you start telling me about the two jars you have in your clothes." Senku finally mentioned the jars.

Inuyasha almost flinched from that, almost feeling a bit of fear that like this guy was going take them away from him, but the fear instantly vanished as soon as it came up upon realizing the kind of guy he is.

"These are the Miracle Fluids I stole from Tsukasa after our fight. This is the bottle he used to revive me and there is still some left while this one is full that was a recent new batch." Inuyasha explained.

"Shit, you're really something else to have stolen them from Tsukasa." Senku was impressed.

"The fact that you haven't use any of them yet is because you're trying to find someone, one person who means more important to you than anything else, am I right?" Senku guessed big time.

"Whoa, are you secretly a mind-reader or something?" Inuyasha asked in shock.

"No, nothing like that. Just smart enough to know these things." Senku chuckled, remembering his big oaf of a friend.

"Yeah, I'm hoping to find this girl named Kagome. We've been friends for years and I sort of asked her out on a date even though I had no idea on what to do on a date, but… it was the same day that it happened." Inuyasha slightly tightened his grip on the jars.

"When the Stone-Apocalypse happened." Inuyaha mentioned.

(Flashback)

"I don't know what the fuck is going on but bring it on!" Inuyasha screamed as he stands on all four like a wild four ready to fight against anything.

The scene shows Inuyasha being consumed in the strange green light, his body starts to become stone and then seconds later, he becomes a statue that he is unable to move nor able to do anything in his weird situation.

(Flashback End)

"Stone-Apocalypse, didn't think of a name for that day, but it does seem to fit." Senku commented.

"It was shit that I couldn't do anything during all of that time being stone and all, but I didn't give a fuck as I tried to think of something to do." Inuyasha remembered all of that time being a statue.

"The only thing I could do was mental training, sharpening my mind for combat though it was a bit of a headache when imagining myself fighting against myself." Inuyasha said.

"Hold up, you were literally imagining yourself fighting against you every day for 3700 years?" Senku asked in shock.

"Yeah, what have you done?" Inuyasha asked.

"Just counting." Senku answered simply.

"Seriously?" Inuyasha said with a sweat drop.

"Anyway, I promised myself that I would only use these to help save Kagome and free her like how I was." Inuyasha looked at the jars.

"Then you'll confess your love to her, right?" Senku asked with a teasing grin, making Inuyasha blush.

"Believe it or not, my big oaf buddy was in the same situation with confessing his feelings to another friend of mine. It was also on the same day as Stone-Apocalypse." Senku mentioned.

"I hope you don't mind if I keep them to myself. I know it's selfish, we could be using these with science to make the medicine a little faster, but…" Inuyasha looked down at the jars again.

Senku can tell that those jars are very important to him that he would risk his very life to find this Kagome girl and revive her, just like a certain big oaf he knows.

"Alright, I'll let you keep those jars. Not like I could even take them from you even if I try." Senku decided to allow Inuyasha to have them. This surprises the white-haired boy.

"Are you sure?" Inuyasha asked. He was not expecting that kind of response.

"They're better safe with you than with me. It's the logical solution." Senku stated.

"…Thanks." Inuyasha smiled. Feeling much better from that.

"Hey!" Kohkau called out, getting the boys and Suika's attention.

"Hope I didn't keep you waiting. I brought in one of the craftsmen and she agreed to help!" Kohaku informed, walking in with another girl behind her.

"So, these are the trustful friends you told me about?" The girl asked.

"Yep, that's them. Trust me, these guys will blow you away when you see what they can do." Kohaku nodded.

"Guys, this here is Sango. She lives in a big hut outside of the village for her work and let just say the things she makes are dangerous when you get a good look at them." Kohaku introduced Sango to the boys.

"Nice to meet you both. It's kinda rare for Kohaku to trust other people outside of her family and Chrome." Sango greeted them.

Sango is a fair-skinned young woman with grey eyes and dark brown hair. She is above-average height with a slender yet curvaceous frame and lean, athletic build. Her hair reaches her lower back with cropped bangs that part in the center above her forehead and strands that reach her jaw as they frame the sides of her face. She has her hair in a high ponytail with a red hair tie. She wears an outfit greatly resembles a black skin-tight jump suit with red outlines and a kanji symbol written on the left shoulder that has a decided mainland flavor. The outfit further consists of pink armor plates made of yōkai bones, pairs of arm guards that conceal a short retractable blade in the right forearm, shin guards, boots, and a red sash wrapped around the waist to carry a wakizashi (medium-length sword) with a burgundy sheath. Her gas mask is worn over her lower face in hazardous situations and fastened by red straps, while various poisons and grappling chains are stored under the armor plates. Breasts size: F-cup.

"Holy shit, a ninja!" Inuyasha gasped.

"Damn, it looks like ninjutsu somehow survive to this era." Senku was surprised.

"Huh, ninjas? You mean from the old stories?" Sango asked, confused about these new boys.

"You must have very impressive crafting skills to make a suit like that." Senku commented.

"Oh, my outfit? Yes, it's my crowning achievement and one of a kind." Sango smiled proudly of her outfit.

"You seem to be someone who knows what she is doing and doing it awesome." Inuyasha complimented.

"Well, I did learn some from my grandpa and figured out the rest on my own." Sango giggled.

"It looks like Chrome isn't here yet." Kohaku said.

"Oh yes, you mentioned that Chrome is bringing my grandpa here." Sango recalled that.

"Huh, did he say that he'd be coming back with a tied up old man?" Inuyasha asked, feeling weirded on seeing Chrome coming back from the village with a short old man all tied up.

"I don't care for this one bit, Chrome!" The old man grunted.

"(Who the fucking Hell is that old fart?)" Senku thought wondered in confusion.

"(Don't tell me that's Sango's grandpa")" Inuyasha thought felt worried for Chrome for what's about to happen next.

"CHROME?!" Sango shouted in rage, grabbing Chrome by the neck and lifting him up.

"You better have a good reason for tying up my grandpa and bringing him out of the village against his will." Sango demanded answers from Chrome with a scary smile and a death-glare.

"Please, Sango! We desperately need the crafting skills of both you and Old Man Kaseki!" Chrome panicked.

"I told him that I didn't want to be part of whatever black arts these people he tangled up with are doing here, even if you are accepting their request, but this brat wouldn't listen and even tied me up in this kinky rope play." Kaseki explained.

Kaseki is a short old man with a large, white beard. He's completely bald, with bushy white downturned eyebrows that get thicker towards the ends. His eyebrows cover his eyes, leaving only shadows visible. He has a large, bulbous nose and slightly pointed ears. Marks of age cover his face: forehead creases, bags under his eyes, crow's feet, and smile lines. He wears a brown tunic and hood, similar to a Christian monk's habit. He has a pouch tied around his waist with his craftsman's tools held at the front. Like the rest of the villagers, he wears white platform sandals.

"Besides, Sango's crafting skills have already surpassed mine a long time ago." Kaseki added.

"Damn it, Chrome. I thought your parents raised you better to treat your elders with respect and NOT forcing others to do things they don't want to." Sango growled, pulling his face closer.

"Look, I'm sorry, but we need you two in order to help Ruri!" Chrome explained.

"Even if that were the case, that is still no excuse for your actions on my grandpa!" Sango tossed Chrome down and then took out a knife to cut her grandfather free in one strike.

"By the way, grandpa, you haven't returned the lacquer you borrowed from me a while ago." Sango reminded him.

"Oh, that's because he gave it to me, but I forgot to give it back. I'm sorry." Suika revealed the bottle of lacquer.

"Ah, that had slipped my mind." Kaseki realized.

"Tell me, old man, were you the one who made that?" Senku asked as he looks over Kohaku's shield.

"You mean that shield?" Sango asked.

"Yeah, her lacquered shield is amazing. And he crafted it without iron tools and hardly any dyes to speak of?" Senku expressed how he thinks about that shield.

"Yep. That shield was a prize from the year that Kohaku's father, Kokuyo, became the champion of the Grand Bout." Kaseki answered with a proud smile on his face.

"I remember how you used to tell me about making the shield, going maximum effort to make it special during that time. It inspired me to do something special of my own like this suit, among other things." Sango smiled.

"And I'm glad to have inspired you, my dear." Kaseki smiled.

Kohaku looked at her shield after hearing the story about how her father earned this in his time in the Grand Bout, she even remembered her father passing this shield on to her when she was younger as she smiles at the fond memories of her and Kokuyo.

"The handiwork on that shield is remarkable for this era. So, I had a feeling there must be an expert craftsman behind it." Senku said while they are walking back to the glass-making spot.

"But I never expected you'd be a dusty old fossil." Senku commented, kinda thought he'd meet someone younger and a little more build in the body.

"Oh, so does that mean you made the bridge with the wooden bars above the planks? That looked cool." Inuyasha asked about the bridge.

"Actually, I made the bridge years ago. It was Sango who made the wooden bars." Kaseki mentioned.

"I thought that bridge could use a little improvement and to make it a little safer." Sango said.

"Well, this kid here had the nerve to pull the planks out!" Kaseki glared at Senku.

"What did you need planks for?" Inuyasha asked.

"To create a magnetic. I'll explain later." Senku answered.

"Oh my… What in the world!" Sango gasped when she saw the failed glass things on the ground.

"Grandpa, look at those see-through stonework! I think this is what they were doing before!" Sango pointed at the glass stuff.

"Wow, I never seen anything like it before!" Kaseki gasped as well.

"Looks like they suddenly gotten interested." Inuyasha snickered as the other boys are.

"We won't force you two to help if you don't want to. So, just sit back and watch the show." Senku held the iron straw.

"You should get a kick outta this, Kaseki, Sango. In fact, I bet you're both gonna be ten billion percent entertained." Senku believed as he hands the iron straw to Inuyasha.

"So, get ready to get excited!" Senku declared as Inuyasha begins another attempt of making glass.

Inuyasha starts off with getting the heated material with the iron straw and letting it be seen by Sango and Kaseki.

"(Wow, so they're using heat to make that material softer and flexible probably to give it shape.)" Sango thought saw how the material is being made.

Then Inuyasha started blowing through the iron straw to make the inside of the heated material bloat up like a balloon and grow bigger on one end.

"(The shape changes so easily!)" Kaseki thought was surprised to see that.

"Fuck, I screw up on the blowing again." Inuyasha cursed as he spins it.

"What are you doing, you fools? Stop!" Kaseki demanded.

"Please, you're making us feel anxious!" Sango begged.

But the boys ignore them as Senku goes to spinning his straw trying, but failing, to make the heated marital into the right shape.

"(What the Hell?! If he wanted that thing to be a good vessel then he needs to hold it steady while spinning it! Oh, I can tell they're doing this just to piss me and grandpa off… And it's working!)" Sango thought gritted her teeth and saw her grandpa is also feeling piss off from this.

"What's wrong? Are you two feeling that this kind of thing is too much for you, that you're too scared like kittens to give this new thing a try? What a shame, and here I thought the granddaughter would have more backbone since her grandpa said her skills surpassed his." Inuyasha said with an insulting grin.

"I guess the old man was just lying. Nothing but hot air." Inuyasha shrugged.

Oh, that was the final straw for both Sango and Kaseki as they couldn't hold themselves back any longer.

"That's it! Now you've done it! No dares dishonor my grandpa by calling him a liar and gets away with it!" Sango shouted in rage.

"Yeah! You have no idea what kind of beast you've just unleashed!" Kaseki suddenly burst out of his top clothes revealing a surprisingly very muscular build shocking everyone who is seeing this.
