Preparing For The Trip Part 2

"I don't think so." the princess said to Jane.

"How about these gowns?" Jane asked the princess, holding a pearl white gown and a diamond white gown.

Princess Lavinia inspected the two gowns that Jane was holding up to her.

"I don't think so." the princess said to Jane again.

"Well, then, what would you like to wear?" Jane asked the princess.

"In all honesty, Jane," the princess said. "I want to wear the kind of clothes you, Gunther, Sir Ivon, and Sir Theodore wear."

"You mean to say that you want to train as a knight?"

"Precisely, Jane." Lavinia said.

Suddenly, Sir Ivon poked his head into the royal children's bedroom.

"Are you ready, Lasses?" 38-year-old Sir Ivon asked Jane and Lavinia.

"Just about, Sir Ivon." the princess replied.

"Okay." Sir Ivon said.

After Sir Ivon left, Jane turned to Lavinia, "I'll petition the king about this matter once we get going." she said.

Jane and Lavinia continued to pack Lavinia's clothes for the trip.

After packing, Jane and Princess Lavinia were the last to board the carriage.
