Its the next day after The Fellowship Of Ring meeting. Athena and I are relaxing in the stables before we head off with rest of the fellowship. I would be lying If I said that I wasn't nervous. There was so much that change that happened over the last week.

" You're so much braver then you think Crimson" Athena says through our mind link.

" Thank you Athena but I'm just a nobody, that you chose to be your rider" I replied to Athena through our mind link.

" I chose you because of your inner strength and and your pure nature" Athena says as she rubs her head against my whole body.

I put my left hand onto her nose and gave it a rub " Thank you Athena".

a knock on the stable doors gets our attention, There standing at the entrance of stables was an elven guard. He looks a little nervous to be in Athena's presence. Though Athena is not helping by giving the guard a intense stare.

" Crimson , Lord Elrond would like to have a word with you in the meeting room" the guard rabbles out before rushing away from the stables.

" Now why did you do that!" I lectured Athena as I turned to her.

" What ... they make it too easy!" I hear Athena chuckle through the mind link.

" Well can you please stop before they decide that we are more trouble than we are worth" I say chuckling a long with her.

" Oh Crimson ... we are worth the trouble" Athena says through our mind link.

I roll my eyes at Athena and head to the palace to meet with Lord Elrond. On the way I see Aragorn heading my way with the elven prince named Legolas. I suddenly got the feeling like there's butterflies in my stomach as they approach me. The butterflies was a new feeling to me, I was not sure if I liked the feeling. In a matter of a few steps Aragorn , Legolas and I reached each other .

" Hello Crimson" Aragorn says with a deep voice.

" Hello Aragorn, Legolas what can I do for you ?" I greet them with a little hesitation in my voice.

" We'ev come to acompany you to your meeting with Lord Elrond " Legolas replies with a nod towards the Palace.

" The request of Lord Elrond and Gandalf " Aragorn finishes for Legolas.

" Oh ...alright ? Then lets not keep them waiting ! " I say and Legolas hooks his rigt arm with my left arm.

The walk to the meeting room where Lord Elrond and gandalf was waiting , seemed like a qucik walk with how fast Aragorn and Legolas rushed me. The guards let us into the meeting room. There of course sat Lord Elrond and Gandalf at the table but this time no Lady Galadriel.

Lord Elrond stands up from his seat and gestures with his hand " Please come and have a seat ".

Aragorn, Legolas and I found our seats around the long table. Only once we were settled did the meeting start. Lord Elrond started to pace the room slowly with his hands behind his back.

" Crimson ... it would seem that you don't fully understand what are you and what it details " Lord Elrond states as he continues to paces around the room.

" Well I know I'm a dragon rider because Athena chose me to be her rider. I also know that Sauron wants be dead because of it " I say out loud to the room, feeling offended that Lord Elrond thinks that I don't understand my situation.

" Yes but why do you think he wants to kill you ? " Lord Elrond stops his pacing to question me.

" Sauron wants to kill me because I'll help be his down fall" I reply to his question hesitantly while looking around the room nervous.

Gandalf clears is throat and I look towards him " There is more to why he wants to kill you than being apart his down fall Crimson".

I lean back in my chair giving a sigh" Oh course there is more. Ok tell me why ? does Sauron want to kill me ".

" It's the easiest way to kill your dragon if he kills you. you and your dragon souls are intertwined together now that she choose you as her rider. Though you can survive if your dragon is killed, Its only the dragon who can't survive without its rider"Gandalf says sombrely .

" You are also a wild card " Lord Elrond interrupted as he look out of a windowless large arch .

I turn my head towards where Lord Elrond stands " How am I a wild card? " I question him with a bit of a snappy tone in my voice.

Lord Elrond turn back around to face the group" thousands of years ago some dragon riders could preform elven magic. The magic runs through the dragon and the rider harness it through them. Most elves now can't preform our magic now".

" Can you believe it Athena! We might be able to do elven magic! " I say with so much excitement.

" We can even do more then that once we are completely bonded " Athena explains with chuckle.

Once the meeting was done I pretty much ran back to the stables. When I got back to the stables I told Athena everything that was said. The meeting lasted another half an hour , before Lord Elrond let us go to get ready for our Fellowship Of The Ring journey . I hear a knock on the stables doors and I look to see Gandallf standing at the entrance of stable. He was standing beside a huge saddle, that was sitting on the ground beside him.

" Hello Gandalf what brings you here?" I questionly welcome him.

" You ran out from the meeting before we give you a flying saddle for Athena" Gandalf says gives me a grin.

I look at the saddle and give a gulp " Right flying" I say nervously.

Gandalf doesn't seem to notice my nervousness " Let the journey being" He says as he walks out of the stable.

I towards Athena " Right let the Journey being" I whisper to myself.
