"Are you sure that's a good idea. Shocket mightn't be ready for school." Linda said.
"I know that Linda. But maybe Shocket could be in the WWEB program at Avengers Campus even though it means big kids but we can help our baby girl with her social skills. She's got my tech skills but we should take it slow and tell her over Rice Krispie squares and Tang her favourite snack." Rocket told the female duckling.
It was a few days later and Linda had came over after training to to hang out with Shocket, only she was surprised that Rocket wanted Shocket to try school seeing her and Groot playing a video game making her grin understanding seeing Shocket happy, Linda was here hugging Linda making her giggle because it was cute hearing Rocket ask, if they wanted snacks making Shocket nod.
"Yep, plus I have something to talk to you aboht." Rocket told her.
"Okay daddy, but it's nothing bad, right." Shocket asked sipping her Tang. He then told her about school making her pink eyes widen in anxiety which Linda saw squeezing her paw gently seeing Rocket nod.
"We can take it slowly and work on social skills." Rocket told her making Shocket nod taking deep-breaths saying she could try feeling Linda hug her along with Rocket which made her feel better about this relievibg Linda.
"Can we read books about school, daddy." Shocket said softly making him like that idea.
"Sure kiddo. That's a good idea." Rocket said ruffling her mohawk making Linda smile. She knew Shocket wanted to make her and Rocket happy only not wanting to push her into something if shewasn't comfortable telling her she could just think about it making Shocket take a breath. "That's a good idea Shocket but you don't have to do anything that makes you uncomfortable." Linda told her hugging her. Plus Shocket remembered they had to take books back to the library so she and Linda were doing this making Rocket relieved, he wouldn't have to pay late fines making Groot nod.
"So, how're you feeling about this school thing. I know you'll like the WWEB program since like me, you like making tech stuff but guess the big kids is what bothers you, right." Shocket heard her dad say making her nod.
"I'm only good around you, Groot and Linda, the big kids might not get me." Shocket admitted which Rocket got remembering he'd felt like that attending the Academy on Wondergore hugging her which was making her feel better knowing they could work on this seeing she'd made web shooters for them knowing Groot could web-sling using his arms but she and her dad couldn't making Rocket smirk. "This iswhy you've gotta go to that program, so you can make more awesome stuff like this." Rocket told her.
He also hadn't told her about Nebula as he was getting messages from her making Shocket curious. "Ummmm, Nebula's my friend but special like Linda with you." Rocket said making Shocket nod.
"Like your girlfriend daddy." Shocket asked making him blush as Groot laughed at this.
"You could say that honey. Nebula's really cool which you'll see when you meet her." Rocket said.
