"Man, this view is amazing." Naruto commented while looking down at the school from the rooftop, Komi nodded alongside him.
Both her and Naruto were at the rooftop of the school for lunch time since this was the only place where they wouldn't get weird looks from everybody.
Komi was the most popular person in the whole school, everyone flocked to her every time there is a free period.
But with added bonus of Naruto power and reputation, everyone kept a far away distance from her.
They had thought it might have given some personal space and peace for them, but things still didn't change thing for the better and just made it worse.
Everyone now just looked at duo from a far away distance, making it feel like they were some exotic animals on display.
So, Naruto soon choose a different place for them to relax and not be interrupted by students coming in to look at them.
They choose the rooftop as their destination since no one else was up here, and they were now waiting for najimi to arrive.
And on cue, najimi arrived just a few moments later.
"Hey guys, your lovely friend najimi is here!" The lavender girl introduced herself with a pose that she thought was cute.
"Hello najimi." Komi greeted the girl with wave while Naruto just nodded.
Naruto took out a large blanket and placed it on the ground while Komi went over to najimi to talk but was stopped in her tracks as she looked curiously at the book in najimi hands.
"What is that cook you're carrying?" Komi pointed to the book while Naruto stopped his work and also looked at najimi.
"I'm so glad you asked…" najimi pulled a pair of glass from her pocket and place it on her face.
"This is my book of friendship!" Najimi shouted while opening the book, both Naruto and Komi looked at it and saw profiles of a lot of people.
Many of them they knew from class or looked similar to people they see in school, the rest they have no idea.
"Why did you bring it here?" Naruto stared down at the girl with a raised eyebrow.
"So we can find the best person for Komi to make friend with." Najimi said with a thumps-up before she started to scroll through the book.
Naruto and komi turned to each other before they shrugged their shoulders and wait for najimi to fine a match for the silent girl.
"Find one!" Najimi landed on a page and showed it to Komi with great enthusiasm.
"Agari himiko, she perfect for Komi." Najimi pointed to a picture of green-haired girl with glasses.
"Isn't she the one that stuttered during her introduction?" Naruto rubbed his chin as he stared at picture.
"That is correct." Najimi nodded to Naruto question before she looked back at profile and rang her finger down it.
"Agari is a sweet girl but is weak against interpersonal relationships." Najimi glanced back at the two before she continued.
"Specifically, she becomes hyperventilated, convulsion, inarticulate, cold sweat, stomach pain…" najimi was about to continue before Naruto covered her mouth.
"Just say she nervous." Naruto stated to the girl with a deadpan look while Komi look at Agari profile with great interest.
"Her height is 168cm, she's a Pisces, blood type B, her favorite food is tomato and avocado, and her measurements are 88, 69…" Naruto once again cover mouth before she could finish.
"Too much information, najimi." Naruto said with a heavy blush on his face.
"Oh, what wrong. Are you embarrassed?" Najimi stared at Naruto with a mischievous grin on her face.
"Shouldn't teenage boys like you want to know stuff like this." Najimi twirled around the blushing blonde as she spoke.
"You know, hon. If you want to know my measurements, it's…" Naruto finally had enough of her teasing and chopped her on the head.
Naruto cough into his fist, as to calm himself down from his embarrassment before he turned to Komi. "So, you want to try befriending her?"
Komi look at the profile once again and through it over before she nodded to Naruto question.
"Okay, we can go talk to her after we finish lunch." Naruto grinned before he sat down on the blanket and opened his lunch box.
"Is that really a good idea though?" Najimi look strangely at Naruro while she sat down with her lunch.
"What do you mean?" Komi raised her eyebrows in confusion as she looked at najimi.
"You and Naruto meeting Agari together." Najimi pointed to Naruto with a worried expression.
"Is there something wrong with me going with her?" Naruto stared at najimi with questioning eyes.
"Well yeah." Najimi awkward said while she rubbed the back of her head.
"Agari might be able to handle Komi for a little bit, at least long enough for Komi to become friends with her but…" najimi stopped as she pondered how to word her thought in a positive way.
"She might not take your arrival very well." Najimi grumbled as she tried to explain it the best she could.
"Because of my reputation, right?" Naruto looked back najimi to confirm his thoughts.
Najimi nodded while looking away from Naruto.
"But I need Naruto." Komi shot back at najimi; she very much needs the moral support from Naruto if she wants to talk with someone new.
The whiskered ponder on what to do next before he looked towards najimi.
"Is my reputation that bad?" Naruto asked with a slight desperation in his voice, wanting to see if there was any hope.
"Well, to put in words…" najimi placed his hand towards her mouth as she tried to deliver the news as calmly as possible.
"If a murderer come to school, people would be more worried about him dying than other people getting killed by him." Najimi finally stated her thought.
Naruto and Komi looked at najimi incredulously.
Naruto rub his forehead; he knew his reputation was bad, but he didn't think it was this bad.
The people in this school actually fear him more than they fear a murderer in their school.
'My reputation is so fucked up.' Naruto sighed as he tried to figure what to do next.
"Najimi, you have to go with Komi then." Naruto pointed to najimi since she was the only available option as of right now.
"I can't, I have a very busy schedule." Najimi brought out a large sheet of paper that recorded all of her plans as proof.
"That doesn't matter, this is more I'm-." Naruto stopped speech as he turned to see Komi pulling on his shirt.
"Komi?" Naruto looked confused as to why Komi stopped him, the girl brought forth her notebook and showed it to Naruto.
"I want to do this alone." Komi stared at Naruto with absolute resolve and conviction within her eyes.
"Are you sure?" Naruto was thrown speechless by Komi current actions, feeling it to be remarkably different from before.
"Positive." Komi reassured the whiskered man with complete confidence with herself.
Naruto's tense shoulder relaxed as he slumps down to the blanket, unsure of what to do next.
"…can I ask, what with the new attitude?" Naruto asked with questioning eyes, wondering why Komi changed so much.
"It because of you two." Komi pointed to Naruto and najimi with a warm smile.
"Us?" Naruto and najimi said in unison while pointing at themselves, looking confusedly at Komi.
"Yes, my fear of making friend with other people have lessened since I made friend with you two." Komi light gripped onto her notebook.
"I no longer fear it because I know that no matter what if I fail or not, I still have…" Komi stopped in her speech and placed her notebook down and grabbed najimi and Naruto hands.
"I…have two…amazing…friend waiting for me right here." Komi sweet and soft voice echoed through the rooftop before Komi covered herself in embarrassment.
Both Naruto and najimi looked awestruck by Komi words before they rubbed their heads in embarrassment.
"Oh, you praise us too much." Najimi tried waved her the compliment off but the happy smile on her face betrayed her words.
Naruto rolled his eye at the childhood friend, najimi was always weak to compliment as kid and now it stayed with her into teenage years.
Naruto soon recovered from his embarrassment and looked towards Komi with kindled eyes.
He walked towards Komi and knelt down to her level, he placed his hand on her shoulder and looked at her with proud eyes.
"You're making so much progress." Naruto told Komi with a soft smile.
"Thank you." Komi tucked her hair behind her ear while pints of pink appeared on her face.
"You're going to accomplish your goal in no time." Naruto patted Komi on the head before he sat down next to eat his lunch.
Najimi ears perked up upon hearing Naruto words, she walked towards and leaned into Naruto with intrigued interest.
"Oh, does Komi have a goal?" Najimi asked the two friends.
Naruto looked towards Komi to see if she was okay with, the girl didn't mind it at all and just nodded.
"Komi wants 100 friends." Naruto stated Komi goal to najimi.
"What? That's so few…?" Najimi laughed monotone before her head was attacked by Naruto chop.
"You be quiet." Naruto irritatedly stated, finding najimi words very hurtful to Komi. "Not everyone is like you, okay."
"Besides, Komi goal does go deeper than you think…" Naruto said before he took out his lunchbox to start eating.
"It does?" Najimi tilted her head, she looked towards Komi for answer but found that Komi was just as confused as she was.
"Are you telling the truth to us?" Najimi asked questionably with one eye glaring at him with a raised brow.
"Yes." Naruto simply said.
"Then why does Komi also look confused?" Najimi pointed to the confused girl.
"Komi already know what I'm saying but doesn't fully understand it yet." Naruto said while bitting a piece of rice.
Najimi started at Naruto for a moment, spying to see if he was lying to her or something but found nothing.
She couldn't handle the unsatisfied feeling in her heart and finally let out her true emotions towards Naruto.
"Stop being mysterious and just tells us already!" Najimi grabbed Naruto collar and shouted to his face.
"No." Naruto denied najimi request with a teasing smirk on his face.
"You blonde bastard!" Najimi cursed at Naruto for his refusal.
She began to angrily stomp one the floor and walked around in circles. After a while, she finally got tired and sat down next to her friend.
"I'm going to get that information from you, one way or another." Najimi angrily pointed her chopsticks at Naruto with a glare.
"You can try, but you won't succeed." Naruto chuckled a little as he continued to tease the small girl.
Najimi just pouted at Naruto and looked away from him, she took out her lunchbox and started eating while ignoring Naruto.
Najimi started to angrily eat her lunch as if she was imagining it to be Naruto, while Komi was looking strangely at her.
"Something wrong, Komi?" Naruto asked the girl, sense that something was going through her mind.
Najimi looked away from her lunch and her gaze turn towards Komi as well.
Komi thought about for a moment before she pointed to najimi lunch with a tilted head.
"Is there something wrong with my lunch?" Najimi asked worried as she scanned her lunchbox.
Komi shook her head before she used her chopsticks to point to the vegetable within her lunchbox.
"Oh, you're wondering why she doesn't have any vegetables." Naruto figured it out instantly on what Komi was asking.
"It because najimi doesn't like greens at all." Naruto stated while najimi nodded to his statement.
The girl had hated green since she was small and would always throw them away once someone tried to offer it to her.
That habit of hers hasn't changed and she still will deny any greens given to her by anyone.
"But vegetables are healthy for you?" Komi tiled her head confusedly najimi food habits.
"There is no scientific proof of that!" Najimi immediately deny Komi statement and angrily pointed at her.
"Yes, there is." Naruto rolled his eye at his childhood friend behavior.
She had always denied proof of why vegetables are healthy for since everyone would use that argument to force to eat greens.
She grew to hate it and would always deny it once anyone brings it up.
"Me and Komi are kinda proof of that." Naruto pointed to himself and Komi since both of them eat a lot of greens and looked very healthy.
"Okay, I can see it with Komi but not you!" Najimi pointed to Naruto with an aggravated expression.
"Why not?!" Naruto pointed to himself as he looked bewilderedly at najimi.
"Because there is no possible way vegetable made you this tall!" Najimi grumbled while looking with extreme jealousy at Naruto height.
"Maybe if you ate more vegetables, you wouldn't be so short!" Naruto chuckled as he placed his palm just above najimi head.
"I told you to never insult my height!" Najimi angrily rebuked him before taking some of the tomatoes in his lunchbox and threw at him.
"It your own fault that you're this short!" Naruto clam stated while catching all the thrown tomatoes with his chopsticks.
Najimi was about to insult Naruto some more but the whiskered wasn't going to allow that and shoved two tomatoes into her mouth.
Najimi was disgusted by his actions and was about to spit the tomatoes out before Naruto closed her mouth and forced her to eat it.
Her pupils dilated as the tomatoes went down to her stomach, Naruto finally released her and watch as she fell down to her knees.
"How could you? How would you betray me like this, I though we were best friends?!" Najimi faced wept with anime tears coming her face.
She pointed to Naruto as if he had just committed an unspeakable crime.
"I hate you!" Najimi said to Naruto before she grabbed her lunch and ran away from him.
Naruto didn't stop her and just stood there with his arms crossed, Komi looked worriedly at najimi departing figure before she looked towards Naruto.
"Was that okay for you to do?" Komi asked worriedly.
"It fine, it what true friends do." Naruto waved Komi concern off with a wave of his hand.
"It is, but it seems counterproductive?" Komi expressed her worries about Naruto and najimi friendship.
"Najimi doesn't hate me for it, she knows I'm doing it for her good." Naruto ate some of his food as he spoke.
"A real friend is someone who is there for you and supports you, they motivate you to be the best version of yourself that you can be." Naruto imparted his sagely wisdom to Komi.
"So what you did back there was your way of saying you care?" Komi tiled her head in confusion, still trying to process their train of thoughts.
"Yep." Naruto nodded.
"But aren't you worried that najimi might take it the wrong way?" Komi looked at Naruto with some concern.
"Don't worry, najimi understand my actions." Naruto stated calmly while chewing some of his food.
"In fact, she should be coming back any second now." Naruto pointed to the door as he said this.
And in cue, najimi came walking back in and sat down next to Naruto. She lowered her head down and stood there silently.
Naruto looked at her for a moment before he took one of his burger patties and placed it onto najimi lunchbox.
Najimi looked at the Pattie with a shadowed face, she brought her chopsticks and took the Patties into her mouth.
"Hhmmm, this is delicious!" Najimi stated with stars coming out of her eyes.
"You're forgiven." Najimi a thumbs-up towards Naruto with a cheeky smile.
Naruto didn't even glance at her and just kept eating his lunch.
Komi looked incredulously at the interaction between the childhood friends.
Is this what it means to be a friend?
"Man, that was nice." Najimi said with her hands behind her back.
They had finished their lunch earlier, now both her and Naruto were walking towards their classroom.
Komi had left way earlier than them and went off to find agari.
"Don't you think so?" Najimi turned towards the whiskered man behind, though her smile soon diminished once she saw the frown on Naruto face.
"What got you so worked up?" Najimi asked concernedly.
"It nothing, just worried about Komi." Naruto rubbed his mod of hair as he spoke, very much worried about Komi current situation.
"Come on, your being too worried for nothing." Najimi playful punched Naruto in the arms as she said, finding Naruto concerns very amusing to her.
"Maybe." Naruto sighed, najimi was probably right and he was stressing over nothing.
"Of course I am, najimi osana is never wrong." Najimi stated with her nose lifted up into the air.
"Don't push it, shorty." Naruto said as he light pushed najimi head away with an amused smirk.
"Hey, I told you not to call me that." Najimi grumbled to Naruto, she was about to say more but her phone started ringing.
"Hello…oh guys…yeah, I'm so sorry…we can do it another time." Najimi spoke on the phone while Naruto looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
Najimi sighed exhaustedly while she closed her phone and placed it back into her pocket.
"Who was that?" Naruto asked the girl with a suspicious glare.
"It was one of my friends, she was just mad that I missed our lunch meeting." Najimi explained the situation to her best friend.
"Now I have to reschedule it, but everything is already booked." Najimi said as she pulled a journal and pencil.
"I don't know where to even reschedule?" Najimi tapped her pencil on her chin as she looked at her journal.
Naruto eye narrowed upon najimi journal and in an unexpected move, he took the journal from najimi hand.
"Hay!" Najimi cried out in surprise as she looked at her best friend, wondering why he did that.
Naruto expression grew grim as he looked over najimi schedule, it was absolutely packed to the brim with activities.
"Najimi…this is not a healthy lifestyle." Naruto serious tone echoed across the stairways as he looked at najimi.
"Well it is my life, so I can whatever I want with it." Najimi stated while looking from Naruto and rubbing her elbow.
"I want you to fix this, najimi." Naruto directed his commanding voice towards najimi with the journal open.
"I can't, these are all activities that I'm doing with my friends!" Najimi looked shocked by Naruto command and tried to fight against it.
"They wouldn't want me to cancel these events." Najimi lowered her face as she clicked into her shirt.
"If they were really your friends, they wouldn't be angry about it." Naruto words left no room for najimi to go against and caused her to go silent.
Naruto walked towards najimi and showed her schedule journal to her with a serious expression.
"Your life is packed with activities that you don't even like." Naruto pointed to some of events on the journal that he was sure najimi would not like doing at all.
"But I do like them, that why I'm doing it!" Najimi tired to reason with Naruto but his expression stayed the same.
"No…your friends like them and you're just following along." Naruto stated the cold hard truth to najimi.
"And why should I listen to you, you're not my dad!" Najimi shouted to Naruto with tears coming down her face.
"No…but I'm your friend and I want what's best for you." Naruto finished his speech and returned najimi journal.
Naruto walked down the staircase while najimi stood there motionless with a thought in mind but his words.
Final, her body began to shake uncontrollably before she fell to her knees in despair and started to cry.
Naruto was sitting on the staircase with his face firmly laying on his left palm, waiting for najimi to come down.
It didn't take long before he heard footsteps coming down, Naruto looked up and saw najimi coming walking towards him.
Naruto glared at his best friend with firm and resolve eyes, najimi looked towards him for a moment before she nodded.
Naruto lips curled up a little bit as he stood up and gave a grateful nod towards najimi.
Soon, the two childhood best friend walked back to their classroom in absolute silence.
Najimi was looking down at her feet while she walked while Naruto simply walked without a care in the world.
They were just a few steps away from their class before Naruto placed his hand on najimi head and patted it.
"I'm proud of you, najimi." Naruto said with an exceedingly rare joyful smile upon his face.
"…thanks." Najimi head was still lowered but a small smile could be seen forming on her face.
Najimi stood in front of the door for a moment and took a deep breath, reconstructing herself once more.
"Hey everyone, your childhood friend najimi is back!" Najimi happily introduced herself as she opened the door.
"Hey najimi, how are yo-." One of the girls tired to welcome najimi before she stopped herself upon Naruto entry to the classroom.
The classroom began to quiet down as they moved away from Naruto, the latter didn't even pay them any attention and just walked towards his desk.
"Man, you sure are unpopular." Najimi chuckled while clutching her hands near her mouth.
Naruto grew irritated at najimi comment but calm down a little, he left a small sigh and released his tense shoulders.
"Maybe this is why you don't want me to hangout with other, cause you're jealous of me." Najimi continued to mock Naruto despite seeing how angry he looked.
A tick mark grew on Naruto forehead as he looked at najimi, he raised his hand and flicked najimi on the forehead.
"Ooww!" Najimi rubbed her forehead as she rolled around in pain.
"Why you do that!" Najimi roared her grievance at Naruto with small tears forming on her eye.
"Cause you're being annoying, you little rascal." Naruto laid his chin on his palm while chuckling at najimi agitated appearance.
"Can't you be more delicate." Najimi pouted while crossing her arms.
"For you, no." Naruto answered with a crooked smile while turning his head over to her way.
"You bastard." Najimi ran over to Naruto and started to punch his shoulders.
Though, her attack did nothing to Naruto and he just stood there. She finally gave up after a while.
Najimi stayed on the ground, sulking in her powerlessness. She going to get back Naruto for this grievance no matter what.
But what could she do, she was neither strong to do anything and no one else would stand up to Naruto for her.
She stared at ground with her head down until she finally thought of a way to get back at Naruto.
She smirked evilly and stood up with her chest puffed up to the extreme.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at the fast change of expression seen in najimi but didn't comment on it.
"You know, if you keep acting like this. You'll stay single for ever." Najimi mischievous smirk grew once she saw the flinch in Naruto body.
"But you don't have to worry too much, cause I'll be with you forever." Najimi got closer to Naruto and held onto his arm.
"That sounds like a nightmare." Naruto pushed najimi off of him with deadpan expression.
"My, is little Naruto embarrassed." Najimi poked his arm with a teasing look on her face.
Naruto just sighed helplessly; he wasn't going to let najimi get to him.
Najimi saw that Naruto was at his break point and leaned her face close to his ear to whisper something.
"Do you know what the color of my underwear is?" Najimi sly smile up turned once she saw the blushing forming onto Naruto face.
"Why the hell would I know that!" Naruto quietly yelled into najimi face, not wanting to draw attention from the classroom.
"Didn't you see it when I was walking down the staircase." Najimi teased Naruto with a small chuckle.
"I'm not a fucking pervert, you idiot." Naruto clenched his fist in frustration as a large blush appeared on his face.
"Well, that too bad cause I was wearing your favorite color." Najimi drew closer to Naruto as she swayed her hips.
"I'm wearing orange lace panties." Najimi whispered into Naruto ear with a mischievous smirk.
Naruto brain shut down and he slammed his face flat into the desk.
"Kidding." Najimi smiled at the embarrassing state that Naruto was in right now.
Naruto face wrinkled as he turned his face over to najimi, he stood from his desk with sullen expression.
Najimi moved back a little, fearful of scolding she might get from Naruto.
The whiskered man was about to give her an earful but stopped once he heard the door dramatically being opened.
Everyone looked to see the nervous agari standing behind the opened door.
She was blushing crazily before something had seemed to freak her out and she screamed.
"WE'RE SUPPOSED TO GO TO THE GYMNASIUM FOR OUR GYM CLASS IN SIXTH PERIOD!" She shouted to the top of her lungs before she bowed and ran off.
Naruto blinked confusedly at that weird isolated, and he wasn't the only one confused by the outburst.
Naruto saw that Komi was walking over to the other doorway and went to over to her.
He looked surprised at the depressing aura around Komi once he saw her.
"Did something happen?" Naruto asked casually, though he flinched once he saw the small tears in Komi eyes.
"What wrong, Komi? are you alright?" Naruto looked worriedly at Komi, wondering what went wrong.
"I messed up." Komi stated while sipping away her tears.
Naruto sighed a little before he pointed to the hallway. "You want somewhere private to talk about it?"
Komi nodded and walked with him to stairway. Once they reached the place, Komi began to explain everything from the beginning.
From how she stalked agari in the library to the bathroom, and how thing escalated from the begin to the end.
"So, in the end. You failed to make friend with her?" Naruto rubbed his head as he awkwardly looked at Komi.
"That is correct." The silent girl nodded sadly to Naruto statement.
"Hey, it alright. You have other chances to make friends with her." Naruto comforted the girl the best that he could.
"Really?" Komi looked at Naruto with eye filled with hope and expectation.
"Yeah, you just need to improve your skill a little bit." Naruto spoke the best advice that he could give to Komi right now.
"Besides, no one success the first time. You have to try again in…" Naruto stopped speak for a moment and looked upwards.
Komi tiled her head at Naruto strange behavior before she followed his line of sight and found agari standing on the corridor.
"E-excuse me." Agari nervously said while walking down towards the two.
"K-Komi…um…today, the way you were watching me…I-it was…it was really scary!" The two teenagers jumped up of her sudden shout.
"B-but…I don't know why…you were watching me…but…" agari demeanor changed and became more cheerful.
"Thanks to you…I could change myself a bit…so, u-um…thank you!" Agari bowed deeply to Komi with her hands clutched deeply on her thighs.
Naruto raised his brow at her actions but nonetheless he smiled a little. He quickly motioned his elbow to hit Komi in the back.
Komi got out of her stoic state and curiously looked at Naruto, tilting her head in the process.
Naruto head shook towards agari with an encouraging smile. It took a while, but Komi finally understood what Naruto meant.
Naruto sighed in relief that Komi understood what he meant, but his expression turned sour once he saw that Komi shook her head.
Naruto look bewildered by Komi response and walked near Komi. "What going on, Komi?"
The girl didn't look at him and looked down at her shoes. Naruto rubbed his head in frustration with a crooked frown.
"Gotten too scared?" Naruto whispered into her ear, to which Komi slowly nodded to.
Naruto sighed before he coughed into his fist and looked toward agari, who had been a bowing position for the entire of his talk with Komi.
"…since two are getting along, why don't you two become friends?" Naruto suggested, much to the joy Komi who looked at agari hopefully.
"EH?!" Agari quickly got out of her position and moved away from with with waving hands.
N-no, nonononononono! Impossible! No! Um, that not what I mean…for me, being friend with Komi is something amazing! B-But…" agari expression changed a huge blush and she gained a heavy pant.
"If I can be Komi dog…then…I'll do my best! Hehehe! I hope we get along." Both teenagers like dumbfounded by agari lewd expression and moved back a little.
Both Komi and Naruto stared at her in silence, unable to comprehend the swift change in personality.
"Komi, you're not befriend this pervert. Come on, we'll get you someone better." Naruto said as he grabs hold of Komi shoulder and motioned to get out of here.
"A-A-Ah, a pervert. Oh, how vulgar!" Agari gasped at his hurtful comment before she placed her hands on her burning cheeks.
"Ah yes, insult me more…Call me names! I-I don't mind being your dog too, Naruto." Agari looked at Naruto with heart shaped pupils in her eyes.
Naruto look appalled by her actions and stare at her speechless. "Get away from me you pervert, and no you can't be my dog."
Agari look visibly shaken by his words, Naruto thought she was scared by his words but it seems that he was wrong.
"It fine if you don't me as a dog…I could always be your slave!" Agari knelt before him with a lewd expression.
"Fuck no! if you keep acting like this, I'll beat you up!" Naruto threatened her to scare her away.
"Oh yes! You can spank me if you want, I hear boys like that." Agari didn't seem affected by his words and just struck her buttocks towards Naruto direction.
