Chloe sat on a stall at the bar in Lux, it was a weekend where Dan had Trixie so she was enjoying watching Lucifer do his thing in his club. The barman Patrick handed her another drink for which she thanked him and took a sip there was a reason that Lucifer called him the best Barman in LA.
Then she noticed a man standing next to her he ordered a drink and attempted to buy her one as well.
"No thank you I'm fine". She replied
"Oh come on a beautiful woman like you should be with a guy like me". He told her.
"And just what is a guy like you?". Chloe asked although he didn't notice the sarcasm in her voice.
"Listen pal you should make yourself scarce". Patrick told him
"Just serve the drinks pal".the guy told him loudly.
"Look she's my bosses girl so I'm telling you to go". Patrick told him.
He ignored Patrick and leant over Chloe trying to intimidate her. She smiled at Patrick and could see the security staff and more importantly Lucifer making their way over. She didn't need their help but with certain clothing choices she had made this evening she really wasn't dressed for taking people down.
"It's ok Patrick,I can handle him". She told Patrick who looked unsure about leaving Chloe to it.
"First I'm a detective in the LAPD so you can stop trying to intimidate me so BACK OFF, secondly that's my fiance".she growled at him He turned to find Lucifer stood right behind him and for just the barest second he could have sworn the guy's eyes flashed red.
Lucifer signalled to one of the security team. "You can leave willingly or be thrown out". He started.
"Anyone who comes into my club does so knowing they're safe from people like you NOW LEAVE and don't bother returning" he finished. The man was escorted out but Lucifer was still fuming so Chloe took his hand and led him to the dance floor.
"You didn't have to step in like that you know I had it handled". She told him while smiling.
"I know it's just the way he was standing over you,I hate seeing anyone disrespect you". He started
"I know and I get it because I honestly hate the way those girls throw themselves at you". She told him.
They danced closer and just enjoyed the moment.
"I love you Chloe and I apologise if I'm overly protective". He said
"And I love you Lucifer and I always will but you don't have to apologise, it's nice actually". She told him.
They continued to dance and enjoy the odd kiss,Lucifer ran his hands down over her hips to her ass,she sighed as he did so and the grinned as he paused his hands.
"Detective did you forget something?". He asked with a grin
"Whatever could you mean Lucifer?. She asked him
"You seem to have forgotten your panties detective". He said
"I just thought it would save time when we get up to the penthouse". She told him.
With that he turned without uttering a word,took her hand and led her to the elevator to the penthouse. She grinned and thought to herself, "every time".
