Author's Note: We're back to Mam. Allison and Hecate, to be exact. It's not my best work, but I made it work. I had a bit of a rough start. I probably should've picked someone else, but I wanted to come back to the two strongest nightcomers. We might come back to them later on in the story. I had to add Johann Faust to make things interesting. However, that didn't do much. Next week will be much better. I don't know what I will be doing then. Maybe I will talk to someone on the Hetalia Discord servers I'm on. For now, enjoy this week's match.

Match Fourteen: Sylph:

How long have they been in the woods? Does time even matter? It was made clear a long time ago that it wasn't. For some, that doesn't matter. They have bigger things to do. After all, Christmas was going to be in a few hours outside of the house.

Allison sat in the dark. The spirits were taking a toll on her body. She held a lit cigarette between her fingers. Her daughters were taking their time with this. Their little quest was going to take a while, she already knew that. But still…

The nightcomer lifted her head when she heard the door open.

"Oh."

"How are you holding up, my lady?" Dr. Faust asked as he poked his head in the doorway. Allison kind of waved him off.

"I'm managing," she said. She rolled her eyes.

"Can I come in?" Faust asked. The nightcomer didn't answer.

"Did you bring me something to drink?" she asked.

"Why yes," Faust said. He walked in with a tall glass of tea. Allison flicked out her cigarette.

"This was the best that I could find," Johann said. "Do you like cold teas?" The nightcomer shrugged.

"Does it matter?" she asked.

"I suppose not," he said. The doctor handed her the glass.

"Cheers," Allison said. She took the glass and took a drink. Johann sat down on the couch next to her.

"So, I'm doing fine, thank you," he said. The nightcomer frowned as she eyed him. Faust put up his hands. Not in a talking mood, huh? Okay then…

Johann pulled out his pocket watch. There wasn't a point to this, but he just felt classy that way. Faust was waiting for something else. Allison knew what it was. Why?

She was waiting for it too.

Hecate's mind went elsewhere. When was the last time she went to Ikebukuro? The nightcomer smiled to herself. She knew the first thing she was doing when she got out of this house. But first, she had to get out of the house.

She hadn't seen Bine or Tess around for quite some time. The same could be said for their other sisters. And their mother. That wasn't on Hecate's brain right now. She looked around among the dense trees. How many clowns were following her? Hecate counted up to… oh… like seven of the buggers now. Maybe it was eight. What was the Dark Circus doing here?

Hecate put her hands on her hips.

"What are you lot planning?" she asked. She turned her head when she heard a giggling noise. The nightcomer clicked her tongue.

"Aren't you getting bored with this?" she asked. "Come on. Don't you just want to talk? I would like to ask you a couple of questions." The giggling suddenly stopped. Hecate rolled her eyes. Of course they were going to be quiet. However, the nightcomer wasn't playing this game anymore. She threw her hands up into the arm.

"Come out already!" Hecate shouted. She looked up in the trees when she heard something jumping around.

"You!" she shouted. A head was poking out from the leaves. From what Hecate saw, it looked like dark red frizz. The nightcomer's face went flat.

"Oh."

"How are your daughters?" Johann asked.

"What?" Allison asked.

"How are your daughters doing?"

"What kind of a question in that?"

Johann shrugged. "Just making small talk."

Allison rolled her eyes. "Fine. Why?"

"You sure?"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

He shrugged again. "It was just a question." He noticed the woman glaring at him. The doctor pressed his lips together. He was telling the truth after all. Surely, she didn't expect them all to be loyal to her. Still, they all had to keep in mind they were all a part of the same mission. They needed to win this game. Tandeki was still in the lead. Mam was ahead of Vozrozhdeniye, but it wasn't enough. The coven needed to be on top.

Allison looked over to see Johann smirking at him.

"What?" she asked.

"Hm?" the doctor asked. The nightcomer took another sip of her tea.

"Okay, out with it," she said. "What is going on in your head?" He gave her a little smirk. Allison frowned. Johann tried not to laugh.

"Have you found Gabriel's heart yet?" he asked. The nightcomer raised her eyebrow.

"Why?" she asked. Should he tell her? He doubted that she would believe him anyway. Meh, might as well.

"I know where to find Gabriel's heart," he said in a low voice. Allison snorted. Johann still looked amused.

"What? You don't believe me?" he asked.

"Why should I?" she asked. The doctor shrugged.

"What would I gain by lying?"

"You have your own agenda."

"So do you."

"But why tell me? What do you gain from this?"

"Entertainment."

Figures. Allison rolled her eyes. What choice did she have? She might as well. Not like she could go anywhere anyway.

"Fine. Let's say that you do know where it is. Where is it?" she asked. Johann sat back in his chair and smiled.

There had to be at least twenty of them hiding. Hecate spotted one of them. Yet, she wasn't going to play their game. She had better things to do with her time. First, Hecate needed to get out of the forest.

She hated to admit it, but that red-headed figure would be her ticket out. Hecate's eyes scanned the branches above her. She ran something around and around in her fingers. The nightcomer would have one shot at this. Hecate drew in a slow breath.

There it was!

Hecate took aim and threw a small black stone. She counted down in her head as she took a listen.

Three… Two…

Thud!

Hecate didn't run over. She waited a couple more seconds. Everything went silent. No giggling. The nightcomer took one more look up at the trees. There was no movement either. Good. Hecate walked up to the biggest tree in front of her. She kept her eyes on the ground as she walked closer. The nightcomer pointed forward.

"There you are!" she shouted. A small figure was struggling to stand up. They appeared to be mumbling something under their breath. Hecate knelt down with her hand out. A small face looked up at her. The nightcomer grinned.

"Got you," she said. The little face frowned at her. Hecate grabbed the pale figure with her right hand. She didn't have to hold on tight. The stone was coated in a special spell. The figure looked up at her as it struggled in a sluggish manner.

"Let me get a good look at you," Hecate said. She turned the figure over in her hand. The red hair was a tangled mess. The pale face didn't stand out except for the holes for the eyes, nose, and mouth. Said mouth was moving up and down as if to say something. Hecate didn't bother to take a listen. The nightcomer smirked at the pitiful little creature. She leaned down to the little ear.

"You're going to be my ticket out of this house. I'm going to use you as bait."

The figure's eyes snapped open. Only, it didn't really have eyes.

Allison sat in her chair, frowning.

"You're joking," she said.

"Nope," Johann said. "Don't believe me? Why don't you go and see for yourself when we get out of this house?"

"How was that even possible?" she asked. Johann was about to answer when she and he froze.

"Did you hear that?" he asked. Allison didn't answer. She stood up and walked over to the door.

"Miss?" Johann asked. The nightcomer opened the door and walked out of the room. Faust sat there, blinking.

"Okay then…" he said. The doctor looked down at the glass on the floor. That should have helped her cope long enough for…

Long enough for what? Only the doctor knows. He waited a few more seconds before he left the room himself.

Do we follow him or do we…?

Oh! Let's see what's over here!
