I was relaxing when I heard strange noises. There were some yowling sounds. They were immediately cut off. It sounded like a cat. I turned on my TV and checked the hall camera.
Nothing. I waited and watched for twenty minutes. The new guy came out of his room and looked around. He followed a series of stains on the ground to room 1411. I turned the volume up all the way. I could hear slight crunching sounds. The boy peeked in the door and stayed still for five minutes. Then he backed away. He looked horrified. He stepped on a ramen bag that was laying on the floor. A faint but super-creepy voice answered.
"A-ah….omething...to…...e-eat?"
I ran and grabbed my ceremonial Katana, hanging over my mantle. I ran back to the tv. The boy was gone. Probably in his room. The girl came out of her room and knocked on his door.
"Hello?"
"H-hi."
I turned off the volume. Their conversation went on. The girl got tense. I turned the volume back on.
"Seriously, OPEN THE DOOR! YOU MORON!"
Her nose started bleeding uncontrollably. She was changing in front of my eyes. Her eyes rolled up into her head, her cheeks shrunk and her teeth turned sharp and red.
"I'M STARVING!"
She was no longer a human.
BOOM…..BOOM BOOM….BOOM.
The girl on the floor above started with her guitar.
The monster stopped.
Looked up.
"F-food?"
I dashed toward the stairs at full speed. I threw open the door just as the monster passed. Me and it made eye contact and I lunged at it, yelling. It turned and tried to punch me. It missed and instead ran for the stairs. I followed and had to stop halfway up. When I finally got to the next floor, the monster was in the process of trying to beat down the door. It saw me again and stopped beating the door. It smiled in a really creepy way and lunged. I twisted out of the way and struck out with the Dollyeo Chagi, or the roundhouse kick. The monster's head snapped back. A crimson spray came from its nose. It stumbled backwards into the window, which shattered and the creature fell thirteen stories to asphalt.
