Yelena loved her new in invisibility tech. Harry was really a genius. He certainly knew how to make a woman happy.
She was currently flying above his former apartment's building in West London. The wings were perfect and she could control them with just her thoughts. The hardlight holographic imager bent light around her and made her un-reflective and invisible.
The Russian spy was hovering in the air because Harry sent her here to find a dog. After he shared his life story and a few secrets with her and gave her a full physical, they had made plans and here she was days later to go through with one of their plans.
Few days ago they fixed up her new identity. Harry had a few friends who owed him favours and one of them was the father of a former student of his. The man was pretty high up in the millitary. He had been glad to see Potter alive, having been informed by the government about his kidnap. The General was able to get her new passports, birth certificate, school certificates and some other important documents Harry hadn't ask for like driver's licence and weapon's licence.
A day after her identity change, Harry had a surprise waiting for her that was a new supersuit that was all white and metalic. The metal was a secret magical metal once known as orichalum. He'd synthesized and used some of it to build her suit. Her suit was also layered with a chemical fibre he made that had unstable electric molecules that absorb thermal energy. The thermal energy absorption strengthen the fibre and make it so durable that it can survive intense heat, kinetic blasts, and extreme cold. The fibre was popular in the science world though very rare since Harry hardly ever sold it and the few who owned some were gifted them by him. It was dubbed the Potter Fibre.
The Super Suit made for her was did not only protect her from harm, it also helped her with refining the control of her powers and retracting or extend her wings in seconds.
It was a cool suit that was not only effectively functional but stylish too. It had some wing-shaped crystalline scales that ran along the sides, back and chest. Under light the scale dazzled and glittered like hundreds of tiny angelic wings. On her head was a winged shaped orichalum circlet that could expand to become a winged helmet with just the push of a button. A helmet that was fitted with its own communication devise and a facial shield.
It was time now to find a stray dog and get him home. It was not still known to a lot of people that Harry escaped from captivity yet so she saw some agents positioned in different strategic places around his apartment. From this high up it was hard to tell which organisation they belonged to.
Her target was also there. On a nearby rooftop surveying the streets below, was a black dog almost as
large as a bear. It was a mystery how he got there. Then again, Harry told her that this people could teleport.
Wasting no more time Yelena brought forth her Adaptoid powers and static electricity appeared in her hand. She swept down like an invisible guardian angel and landed silently beside the dog. She made to stun the dog with the electricity in her hand but he caught her scent, even though he could not see her, and rolled away.
I should have expected that and should have stunned him right away. Now how do I avoid a fight that don't draw the attention of all these Agents around.
The dog was already rushing toward her so she tried something she wasn't good at, diplomacy. "Stop! Harry sent me."
That did the trick. She will make sure to tell Harry that his name was good for stopping charging, raging animals.
"Don't transform now. There are drones above this entire area that will record you if you do so," she told the dog quickly. It would have been a sight if anyone had been there. A dog, sniffing around itself and listening to invisible voices. "That is why I'm invisible."
Now what to tell him to make him trust her. She decided to use one of her Adaptoid powers. Telepathy did not come easy to her but she managed. The dog had some amazing mental defences but they were really weak and it was easy for her to calm his mind down and influence him to do as she wanted.
With a mental command the dog walked calmly to her. He was almost by her when he shook his head and growled. Her years of training and experience proved itself to not be a joke. Electricity zipped out of her hand and zapped the dog till he fell down stunned.
Yelena grabbed the dog and dragged him inside her invisibility field. She hoped that no one saw the light show that electricity must have caused.
Extending her wings out, she leaped high and flew off into the sky with the dog secured in her arms. He'd have been heavy for a normal person, but it was no stress for her bionic arms.
She landed a few streets away, still invisible, retracted her wings and rushed into the underground parking garage of a six storey restaurant in the street. Yelena hurried past automobiles till she reached a shining black limousine. She pressed a button by the door of the limousine. The button scanned her finger print and the door slid open. She stepped inside the air conditioned environment of the limo with the dog, and the door closed after her when its sensors detected her passage.
She deactivated her invisibility and threw the dog on the other side of the limo. Taking a seat beside her boss, she smiled. "I did the job."
"Yes, you managed to bring an unwashed dog into my limo," Potter replied wittingly. "It took me hours to upgrade this lady when I bought her, you know."
She just shook her head. After living with the boy for over a week she was now used to his madness and his wit. "I'm grateful for the appreciation," she shot back, sarcastically. "Should I wake him up."
Potter gave her the go ahead. "Zap him awake and put a force field around him."
A small tendril of electricity was propelled from her hand. The dog was once again zapped and she spread her hands to create a telekinetic forcefield around him.
The dog shook his head when he was awake. He looked disoriented yet still tried to charge at her but bounced against the forcefield.
The dog was clearly intelligent as he didn't make another attempt again. He looked away from her and saw her boss. The dog went on sniffing frenzy, bending his head to odd angles and getting a whiff of the air.
"Thank you for that dramatic display of violence, Padfoot," Harry said after rolling his eyes. "It is good to see you again old dog."
The dog changed shape and became a man. A wild looking, hairy, malnourished man. "Harry?" Black said with a cracked voice. "It's you?"
"No it's Voldemort. Of course it's me." At the mention of that tabooed name, Black moved back startled and his eyes darted about searchingly. His eyes were very expressive, and they didn't show Yelena a scared man, just a man ready to do battle.
He soon relaxed and started laughing. "I get what you did now," he said with a shake of his head. "You have a terrible way of making me relax."
"I am sure you appreciate it or will get to if you stick around," Harry told him certainly.
"What is this shield around me?" Sirius muttered aloud. He looked at her. "And who are you?
"
"Helena Belladonna, pleased to meet you. I'm Mister Potter's head of security," Yelena answered with her clear American voice. "And the shield around you, Mister Black, is a telekinetic forcefield."
"You have really done well for yourself, Harry. A nice muggle vehicle and a hot blonde bombshell bodyguard," Black praised sadly. "I'm really sorry for not being here for you all this while."
"You were framed. It happens to even the best of us." Potter brought out a case from his suit pocket. "I know you feel sad and guilty. But I don't need a lamenting dog. Right now I'm in need of a serious, Sirius Black, to stand beside me as my godfather. If you pardon the pun."
Black chuckled then went silent. "I don't know how you know about Peter's betrayal but..."
Harry was quick to interrupt Black, Yelena noticed. "It was not just Peter who betrayed you. My parents know the truth about the secret keeper issue, you and I both know that. They let you go to prison after you killed Pettigrew because they were scared, scared that you might decide to kill them next. This fear was based on your actions during the war. How you sometimes used dark magic and killed Death Eaters. This fear was further enhanced by the whispers and lies of Albus Dumbledore, but it was still their decision of betray a friend they'd known for more than ten years. And you were more than a friend, your grandaunt Dorea was James mother, my grandmother. Then again it must be quite easy for the Potter's to betray their relatives. Just take a look at what they did to their own son."
"I wish I was there for you, Harry. I would have taken you in squib or not." Black let himself fall to rest on the three-seater chair of the limousine. "Concerning Lily and James I was disappointed when I found out what they did to you. I was there with both of them when Dumbledore declared you a squib after the attack. I was the one who made the choice to go after Peter. When I came out of prison and saw one of the Prophet's yearly column honouring you posthumously for your defeat of You-Know-Who, I believed it and went to Potter Manor to question Lily and James about it. James was not there but Lily was. She defended herself and said that I was already going dark and would have ended up like my brother. According to her they had to cut me off before another friend cost them a family member. I knew she was lying, though. In human form my nose is not as sensitive as a werewolf, but I'd know your scent anywhere. When I demanded the truth Lily was forced to tell me that the Wizarding World had no place for a Squib Boy-Who-Lived. She said that the memory of you is living stronger than your unmagical presence would have. She then attacked me. It was a good thing they never remembered to removed me from being able to apparated into and out of their manor. Sincerely, Harry, I don't know what's going on with your parents. The Lily I knew would never have acted like that but the Lily I knew wouldn't have left me in prison either. I'd have tried to defend them for what they did to me, but, no, I want to judge them as harshly as they judged me because of what they did to you."
Yelena wondered if she was the only one that heard the want in that statement. He want to judge them? Does that mean he is not judging them.
Harry gave no outward sign that he heard. He just said, "you did more than enough for me when you killed Pettigrew. He is the root of all this mess."
"I wish," Black said with a frown. "Everyday I wish I killed him."
"Are you trying to tell me that you didn't kill him," Harry asked incredulously. Yelena was watching Black carefully to find any hint of deceit. She found none.
What he said next came as a surprise to her and Harry both. "Peter accused me loudly of betraying the Potters then he blew up the street, left a finger on the floor and scampered into the sewers in his animagus form."
"He was a rat, right?" Sirius confirmed the question with a nod and gazed at Harry suspiciously. He opened his mouth but Harry waved off the obvious question. "I have a very good memory. That's how I know your Marauder name is Padfoot. You used to whisper quietly about how you loved me but will never have a child of your own because I was more than enough for you."
Black smiled and his eyes became glassy with tears. Yelena pittied the fool. She knew that Harry was playing him and softening him up but she didn't know why.
"Let forget about childhood memories for now and focus on what you just said. If we can find Pettigrew it'll be easy to prove your innocence," Harry pointed out.
"He is at Hogwarts," Black informed them. He brought out a wrinkled newspaper page and spread it for them to see a picture. Yelena was shocked to see that the picture was moving. "I tore this out of a newspaper I took from Fudge when he was inspecting Azkaban."
In the moving picture, which Yelena quickly got used to because she'd seen some really weird things in her life, there was a family of redheads. Mother, father, four sons and a daughter. On the youngest son's shoulder was a rat with a missing toe.
"We will have to handle this carefully but we will get the rat eventually," Harry promised. "I must ask, Padfoot, how did you find out I lived in this neighbourhood?"
"I searched for you and eventually ended up at Dursley's," Black said refolding back the newspaper page. "There, in my animagus form, I listened to this muggle agents question Petunia about you and after I followed them and they led me here."
"You ran all the way from Surrey to London?" Yelena asked. This was something she was curious about. She was Harry's bodyguard and it wouldn't do for anyone to be able to just find him whenever they feel like. Especially now that he was keeping away from the public. She will be giving Black too much credit, though, to say he found Harry when it was the other way round.
"I'm quite spry in my dog form," Sirius said with a shrug.
Yelena could not help wrinkling her nose at the image that brought to mind. Harry cleared his throat. "Get your head out of the gutter, Helena," he said with a smirk. Black looked at both of them and chuckled. "Now let's talk about what we are going to do moving forward. I want to trust you to take care of me, Sirius, I really do but after the Dursleys I can't trust anyone to have such power over me. I still have the scars on me."
Yelena was certain that they were getting to the part Harry had been pushing Black toward since and Black fell for it. "I don't know what the Dursleys did to you, Harry, so I'm not sure how I'll say this. It isn't a must that I'll try to control your life or tell you what to do. I just want to guide you and protect like I swore to do when I became your godfather. I will do anything for that opportunity."
"Even swear on your magic to always protect me and be loyal to me," Harry asked calmly, too calmly.
It came as no surprise to Yelena when Black nodded. "I would do it right now if I had a wand."
Potter nodded and opened a small case he held in his hand. Inside it was a finely carved, six inches, red wood. "When I was eleven I went to diagon alley to watch other children my own age prepare for a new phase of their life. There I exchanged some pounds for galleons with the goblins and bought some magical items and books I wanted to take to my lab and study. I went to Olivander's but knew he won't sell a squib a wand but I was contented with just watching children go in empty handed and come out with their wand. Then an Irish boy entered the wand shop. The explosions he created from just testing the wands Olivander had him try reached me where I hid outside the shop. That was not the only thing that reached me where I was. The glass window above me shattered and wands rained on me. broken glasses rained on me also but I was more concerned with the wands. I heard Olivander coming outside and did the first thing that came to mind. I picked up five of the fallen wands and dashed away. This is one of those wands."
Harry brought out a retractable pen. When he pressed down the cap it was not the nib that snapped out of the ballpoint tip but a controlled tiny laser beam the size of a seed of rice. Potter pointed it at the wand and started using it to write something on it.
Yelena sighed exasperatedly. Why didn't she think that creating a laser pen was something Harry was totally capable of.
He was soon done with what he was carving into the wood. He snapped the beam back into the safety of the barrel and placed the pen in his pocket. If Yelena didn't know that his suit was made of Potter Fibre she'd vanished that pen from his pocket. Even knowing she looked at the pen worriedly for a moment. You can't blame her for worrying, she was his bodyguard after all.
Harry presented the wand to Sirius. She noticed that it was runes he carved on them. Black took the wand and nothing happened. "I will have to try the other wands you have, Harry. This one has refused to choose me."
Harry snorted. "I thought as a former Ancient Runes student you will recognise the runes I carved on the wand."
Sirius shifted the wand to see the runes. "This is Sanskrit. Power, Dominion, fate, soul, seal... wait does this mean..." Black paused, stupefied.
"Yes it's an ancient runic array used for binding magical focis to your souls. And you can do it as many times as you want with as many foci as you want. The ministry classify it as dark magic. Guess they don't want people wielding two wands since Grindelwald showed them that a powerful and ambidextrous man with two wands was his own army," Harry explained with his prof voice. "Just put a bit of blood on it and pour your magic into it."
Black used one of his really long fingernails to tear open a part of his left palm. He let some drops of his blood fall into the carved runes. The runes glowed right before Yelena's eyes.
No matter how knee deep, HYDRA was in occultism, this was the first time she was witnessing true magic. A tendril of energy came out of Black's hand before it touched the runes. All the blood on the wood were sucked into it and the runes glowed again.
The sparks that came out of the tip of the wand almost frightened Yelena into accidentally dropping the forcefield around Black. She didn't but she'd never stop beating herself for getting distracted by the glowing runes and tendril of magic.
Black pointed the wand at his bleeding palm. "Episkey," he intoned and the wound closed up. Black placed the wand on his chest and swore, "I swear on my life and magic, to always be loyal to Hadrian James Potter, son of James Charlus Potter and Lily Evans Potter. I swear to serve him and protect with all I have, to never betray him and to always be by his side when he needs me, this I hereby swear. So mote it be."
"So mote it be," Harry echoed and a white light flashed on both of them. "You took an oath of loyalty. I can only say, welcome to the team, Padfoot."
Black nodded with a grin. Harry gave Yelena a nod and gestured towards the forcefield. She reluctantly took it down. To her Black was even more dangerous now with that magical weapon in his hands. She had no trust for oaths given how many she herself swore in the past but she decided to trust that Harry knew what he was doing. All things logical, magical logic anyway, pointed at the fact that Black would certainly lose his life if he break the oath.
"Now that you have a wand why don't you put on a glamour, go out and get everything you are going to need when you move in with me, and then get back here," Harry ordered Black.
Black nodded. "I should hurry then, and make sure I am not followed." The glamour he placed on himself was like a male version of Helena Belladonna. Black winked at her and stood up. He hit his head on the roof of the car and sat down back with a wince. Yelena had to hold in a chuckle. Harry had no such inhibition, he outright laughed his heart out. Black sttood up again, a bit crouched, and looked around. "Where is the door?"
"It is an autonomous vehicle, tell it to open the door for you," Harry explained but it was clear that to his godfather it was like he was speaking gibberish.
"Tell the robot car to open the door for you," Yelena simplified and Black was still looking lost. "Wow, you don't know what a robot is. This is not cultural difference anymore, it's like you are all living on another planet.
"You haven't even seen the tip of the iceberg yet," Harry told her. "AV Model I, open the door for Mister Black."
The door swung open and Sirius looked at it, unimpressed. "I have seen better." He stepped out of the car. "I will get back quickly and you will explain to me how muggles discovered their own branch of magic."
The door closed after him and Harry sighed and relaxed into his chair. "So you were tense all this while?" She asked him.
He closed his eyes and didn't answer her. The silence lasted till he opened his eyes. "From the beginning I knew what I wanted to gain in this meeting and was aware of what I'll need to say to get what I want. This does not take away from the fact that I didn't like doing it. I didn't like doing it but I resigned myself to it after thinking about its necessity."
"Have you finally found where you will put the headquarters of the company you are going to start?" She asked him. Starting a billion dollars tech giant was one of his plans and he had been pursuing it seriously these last few days. He even employed two lawyers that will work with him in putting down the foundations for the company. One of the lawyers had a degree in business administration, the other was a known professional when it came to economics and finance.
"I have found something, yes," he admitted. "There is a street, few streets away from here, that is owned by a sick Lord. The man has cancer. I believe a cure and one million pounds will pay well for the entire street, right."
Yelena gave him a devious smile. She was not surprised that Harry had the cure to cancer it was something even AIM could make. The only reason why it was not common was because the world government were scared of loosing one of their biggest tool for assassination. "Of course it will. But you should still be prepared to be disappointed. Some people will rather die than sell off a street. Do you know how much land that is then consider the buildings and commercial benefits."
"I did my homework and I know we will get the land. I'll be contacting his wife. All that I've been able to gather says she is the key to his heart and apparently his treasury," Harry said in a matter of fact tone.
"What is the next phase of the plan now that we have Black," she asked quietly.
"Now we build the Empire. The Empire is soon going to fly into the afternoon sky with golden wings of glory."

A/N
I'm aware that Yelena is asexual in the comics, but in this AU she is not. If fact her brand sexuality in this fic is going to play a huge part on Harry's character development. Her's and another's. I am sure those who read the fic description can guess who the 'other' is.
Next, Sirius is now in the picture. There's is going to be little to nothing of his noble heritage and the house of black in the fic. Except I change my mind later and think it could make the story more interesting and provide a lot of plot devices. Mostly, what we will be seeing about Padfoot is him putting that cunning and versatility, which he conceals underneath a superficial Gryffindor bravado, to use.
With him several characters not given major spotlight in HP canon like Otto Bagman, Xavier Rastrick, and Mrs Lovegood will be allowed to shine in this AU.
With that I say, adios... till the next chapter.
