Brooklyn continued to stare at the woman with blonde hair in the coffin, then looking over at Hawkmoth in question who simply watches his expression in amusement. "Figured it out yet? This here is my dear departed wife named Emile. I have been keeping her here for a special reason which is where you come in."

It made the young gargoyle shiver lightly from how he was talking, eventually speaking. "Why... why are you keeping her here? She should be in a special resting place." Brooklyn said, knowing that most loved ones tended to be laid to rest in graveyards. But this was beyond creepy for him. Hawkmoth shakes his head, glaring. "No Firebird. I don't let go of those I loved so easily. And when they are taken, I do anything to get them back." He growled, stepping over to Brooklyn and seeming to tower over the gargoyle despite gargoyles usually being bigger except for Lexington.

Brooklyn however didn't let that intimidate him, clenching his fists. "What... do you want me to do in order to get Blaaze back?" He demanded, trying to sound as tough as he could despite the danger he was in.

Hawkmoth held up Brooklyn's beak again making the red male flinch from his touch. "Use your Miraculous to bring Emile back of course. If it can heal wounds, it can probably heal death too." He said in his silky voice, forcing Brooklyn to look into his eyes.

Hearing such a proposal made Brooklyn feel nauseous once more at the idea. When people died, they tend to stay dead and probably never want to come back either. He pulled himself away from Hawkmoth, growling. "No, what you are asking, you have no idea how much damage this would cause! Your wife is probably in a happier place now and doesn't want to be here!" He roared.

That made Hawkmoth look dangerous now, raising his staff, and knocking down Brooklyn with it. Brooklyn winced in pain, his head throbbing. "You dare refuse me! You have no idea how it feels to lose someone you love!" Bellowed Hawkmoth. Brooklyn though inside knew greatly, making him think of his many mothers in his clan along with the females that rejected him after thinking they loved him. Staggering to his feet despite the cuffs, Brooklyn did his best to not look weak. "I think I do. But you're probably too evil to understand what I've gone through. Losing my whole clan, rejected by any female! But I wouldn't stoop to something this low."

Hawkmoth looked ready to strike again but then had another idea, a grin on his face. "Since you won't help, I shall keep Blaaze for a while longer. And as for you, you can make a good pet for either me or my son. Or a trophy. Either one." He then said, basically claiming Brooklyn as his prisoner.

Brooklyn tensed from the idea of being Hawkmoth's pet, not liking that idea at all. "Just let me go back to New York, please! My clan, what's left of them, probably are wondering where I am!" He begged but Hawkmoth shakes his head.

"No. You have seen what my plan is. So you can't go home Brooklyn. Paris will be your new home now. Take him away until I am in need of him again!" Hawkmoth spat, smacking Brooklyn once more who continued on with his struggles, eyes glowing.

"When Goliath finds out about this, you're going to Hell, Hawkmoth!" The red gargoyle bellowed heatedly, knowing at some point he will escape or someone will find him, writhing as much as possible, making Hawkmoth turn around with a sadistic gleam. "Don't make me laugh. How would your precious Goliath find me? You're on your own."

Brooklyn's ears flattened as another roar escaped while the guard dragged him out of the basement, and towards a prison cell where the guard opened it, and threw Brooklyn in there, slamming the cell door shut after taking off the cuffs. "Get comfortable in there, devil. You're going to be Hawkmoth's pet for a long while now." Sneered the guard. It made Brooklyn run at the cage, trying to swipe him but the bars zapped his skin, making Brooklyn stagger back in pain.

The guard laughed menacingly. "Nice try!" Eventually he left Brooklyn alone who rubbed his wrists from both the zapping of the bars and from the pinching of the cuffs he was now free from, but eventually felt a lump of despair in his throat. He was stuck in a different country without Blaaze and his clan, prisoner to what seems to be with someone who knew a lot about Miraculouses. A little tear came down his face, wondering now too if his clan was even looking for him despite how he yelled at Angela. He held himself, knowing that yelling hatefully at Angela was going to be the last thing he remembered while being with her.

"I'm sorry..." He whispered, mostly to Blaaze in failing to protect her from this maniac and to Angela, wishing to go back in time and reverse what he said, silence in his cell echoing around him.

Back in Manhattan, Goliath and the others had tracked down Radar when searching for their missing member, breaking into the warehouse. Goliath roared when he thought he smelled Brooklyn but couldn't find his Second, spotting Radar there who was wide eyed but pointed a gun. "Hawkmoth could probably get more money sent to me if I deliver these other freaks!" He said in a taunting manner, though Angela moved fast; jumping onto Radar's shoulders and tackling him to the ground. Goliath grabbed his cuff. "WHERE IS BROOKLYN?!" He bellowed, making Radar laugh.

"He is gone, you monster. I have my money to prove it, and you'll never get that superhero of yours back!" Radar sneered, making Goliath hiss, knocking the man senseless and throwing him to Elisa who cuffed him for the police. But there was something going on his his mind; how was Radar able to uncover what Brooklyn's secret identity, it made his blood grow cold at the thought, knowing Brooklyn should have had back up in a situation like this, not going around and playing solo superhero. "Wherever you are, Brooklyn, we will bring you home." Goliath said in determination while Angela had tears in her own eyes, wanting Brooklyn to be safe despite their argument from before.
