"This is Shocket, your kit, your daughter, Rocket. She was being gatekept by Tivon all this time but she's with Linda and me." Rocket heard Howard say. He'd shown him a photo of Shocket as right now they were in a diner after Rocket had returned from space making Rocket's eyes widen in awe. "I wanna meet her Howard." Rocket said to him.
"We should give her some more time, as she's happy with us." Howard told him drinking coffee
"Ohhhh, but when she's ready, I wanna meet her. Thanks for looking after her as I didn't know I had a kit out there." Rocket told him. "You're welcome buddy." Howard told him.
Rocket watched him leave the diner, just processing the info that Howard had just dumped on him, drinking coffee imagining things…
"Hey dad where were you, as we had dinner, plus Shocket was very quiet around mom." Howard heard Linda say.
He'd just gotten home from the diner and hanging out with Rocket, knowing his lil birdie could keep a secret telling her making her impressed promising not to tell Shocket, until it was time seeing Shocket hug him saying hi relieving Linda asshe'dnever been quiet during dinner in front of Darcy.
"I was out conducting business, Shocket. Darcy is nothing you should worry about." Howard told her making Linda abree with her dad. She knew Shocket would figure things out involving her actual dad sooner or later so was okay about keeping the secret for now seeing Howard go into the kitchen hanging out with Darcy majing Shocket raise a furry eyebrow at her.
"I'm okay Shocket. Let's just hang out." Linda told her hugging her. "Okay Linda but don't you wanna hang out with your mom." Shocket replied to her making Linda understand smirking. "I do but I also want to hang out with you." Linda said to her seeing Shocket shake her furry head in reply. "I'll be fine Linda." she told her making Linda sigh.
Linda after playing board games with Darcy and Howard was checking on Shocket seeing her under the bed talking to Helen making the female magical duckling sigh plus had heard her stomach rumble as it hadbeen a while since dinner convincing her to come out and get something to eat making the female raccoon follow her as Darcy was making coffee happy Shocketwas joining them asking where she'd been. "Talking to Helen." Shocket said to her shyly making Linda nod.
"Helen's her bazooka, mom. It comforts her." Linda told Darcy making her get it.
"Ohhhh okay then, but it's okay." Darcy told her seeing Shocket quietly drinking coffee and eating toast with jam on it which Howard and Linda got and Darcy didn't which Howard was okay with hearing Darcy ask, where she and Linda had been all this time making Shocket grip the handle of the mug tightly at the question which Linda saw seeing her drinking but leaving the room making Howard sighing. "She and me were in Tivon's fortress andhe used Shocket ashis weapon until we escaped." Linda told her softly so that Shocket couldn't hear.
"Ohhhhh I didn't know that. Does she have her own family." Darcyasked making Howard nod.
"We're taking our time with that. Rocket's her dad." Howard said softly to her.
"Wow, that's why you were at the diner." Darcy asked seeing Howard nod.
"Yes but maybe we should let her meet her dad. It'll be good for her." he said.
