Conference Room
Moonbase Alpha, Luna

Premier Kim Jung Suk looks up at the clear dome above them, his eyes reflecting the gleaming stars. His Chief of Staff, Colonel Cho Min-Jung, remained stoic, her eyes focused on the schematics and intel displayed on the conference table. President Henry Hayes and South Korean President Kwan Jiu Park exchanged a hopeful glance. In hopes to garner peace.

Kim Jung Suk looks down and straight towards the two world leaders. "My Chief of Staff gave me the rundown of your proposal for peace," he says with a calm voice. "But my Generals is still skeptical of this 'peace' you speak of."

President Hayes nods understandingly. "That's why we're here, to address those concerns and find common ground," he replies, gesturing for everyone to take a seat around the conference table.

On the table in front of the each of them, a 13-inch gray pad with an image of a upside down V chevron overlapping the Earth and hovering over the pad. President Hayes presses a button on the pad, and the image rotates to show the proposed unification plan.

"Premier, our goal here is not just to bring peace between our nations," President Hayes starts, "but to establish a united world."

Premier Kim's eyes narrowed slightly. "Unification of Korea," he says, his grip on the pad tightening. "Is a large and lavish goal. What can you offer us?"

President Kwan Jiu Park cleared his throat. "We are aware every winter your people suffer from food shortages," he began with a measured and sincere tone talking to his counterpart. "We are offering your entire nation a food synthesizer, which can create food out of pure energy."

The North Korean Chief of Security leaned in, his gaze sharp on President Kwan. Colonel Cho Min-Jung's hand hovered over the pad, her fingers tapping the image of the food synthesizer. "How does this work?" she asked but still skeptical to what the two worlds' leaders are offering.

President Hayes tap a few commands on the holographic display that's hovering over the pad. It popped out several menus to choose from. Korean and American dish. "What would you like?" Hayes asked with a smile.

"Ah, I'd like to see a traditional kimchi jjigae," Colonel Cho says, her curiosity piqued. President Hayes nods and selects the dish from the menu.

As Henry taps a few commands, a nice dish of Kimchi jjigae materializes in a blue glow as it sat on the pad in front of the Colonel Cho. The aroma filled the room, causing the North Korean delegation's eyes to light up and their stomachs to rumble slightly.

"It's not just a show," President Hayes assured them, "but a genuine offer to end the suffering of your people."

Colonel Cho studied the dish before her, the steaming broth and the spicy aroma of kimchi wafting up. With a cautious look at her leader, she took a tentative spoonful and tasted it. A hint of surprise crossed her face, and she nodded her approval.

Premier Kim Jung Suk's gaze moves from the dish to the two Presidents, his expression unreadable. "This is impressive," he says slowly, "but it's not just food we need."

"We understand," President Hayes nods, "and we're prepared to offer more. Technological assistance, medical supplies, and education programs to help bring your people into the 21st century. This is an opportunity for both our nations to grow together."

When the Premier is about to speak, a woman with blond hair approaches President Hayes. She wore the same fatigues as the other military members in the moonbase. She have a name Chambers stitched on her uniform and a Master Sargeant insignia chevron on her arm.

"Sir." Chambers, the Master Sargeant, whispers into President Hayes's ear. "We have a situation at Capital Hill."

President Hayes's face tightens as he nods, and he excuses himself from the discussion. He walks over to a secure comms unit on the far side of the conference room, leaving the delegation to mingle awkwardly.

Chambers activated the forcefield that enacts around the comms unit to ensure privacy. Even though the President Kwan Jiu Park is an ally, but he couldn't risk any sensitive information being leaked.

"Jack," Henry called the other side of the comms unit. "What just happen?"

"Sir, as of 0910," General O'Neill's voice crackled through the comms, "During the Senate hearing, Senator Bettsy Farnsworth became iratel."

"What?" Hayes' eyes widened in shock.

General O'Neill's voice remained calm despite what has happened. "Apparently, she got a snake in her head."

President Hayes's jaw tightens. "Jack, are you kidding me right now?"

"No sir," General O'Neill said with a straight face or tries to. "I always thought politicians are the true sense in a word snakes, but apparently, this time, it's literal."

Hayes couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Is she okay?" he asks with a concern look as he glances back at the two Korean leaders.

"Yes sir, SG teams beamed in and pluck her out" O'Neill responded with a little of a smirk.

"Who do you think is responsible for this?" President Hayes's ask.

"My money is on the Lucian Alliance sir," General O'Neill replied, although his humor fades into seriousness. "We're on high alert."

Henry Hayes look down at his tablet and sigh. "The Lucian Alliance has been a thorn on our literal backside Jack." He stares into the holographic projection of the General. "We cannot be complacent as they continue to attack and destroy our off-world bases."

"Agreed, Sir." Jack replied.

"At this moment," Henry breath in the artificial air as he make a decision that will affect billions of lives. "We are at war with the Lucian Alliance."

The look on General Jack O'Neill face made him turn his head toward the right. "Is this a secret proclamation sir?" He continues. "Because we have been in many skirmishes with them in the past sir."

"Jack," President Hayes's voice was firm, "This isn't just skirmishes anymore. They're attacking our most vital assets, and now they're threatening our leadership." He paused, his gaze steely. "They need to know we won't stand for it."

General O'Neill nodded gravely. "I'm not much of a war planner sir."

"No, Jack," President Hayes said with a serious look. "But you are a damn good war fighter. I will be proposing to the Senate and the UN Security Council for a formal declaration of war. In the meantime, I need you to organize our forces, collect any intelligence which faction are at war with or neutral and prepare for a full-scale offense."

"Understood, Mr. President," General O'Neill responded with a humorless tone. "When will that be sir?"

"As soon as possible, Jack," President Hayes replied and turns off the comms unit. He took a deep breath and composed himself before walking back to the conference table.

The two Korean leaders looked at him, they could see the weight on his face. They want to ask what's wrong, but the Premier's Chief of Security gave them a stern look, reminding them of their place in the conversation. President Hayes took a deep breath and sat back down, trying to keep his composure.

"Gentlemen," President Hayes began, his voice firm yet measured as he returned to the table. "We have a situation that requires our immediate attention. I've just received reports that suggests our peace talks are not the only event of significance today. The Lucian Alliance have escalated their aggressions towards Earth."

Kim Jung Suk's eyes narrow. "Who is these, Lucian Alliance?"

"They are a group of smugglers; bounty hunters and murders who banded together after the Goa'uld fell." President Hayes explains. "They destroyed several of our off world bases and attack Homeworld Command here on Earth.

Premier Kim Jung Suk's stood up from and whispers to his Chief of Staff, who nodded gravely. Colonel Cho's gaze met President Hayes, and she spoke in a low tone,

"Why haven't you dealt with them already?" Premier Suk asks as he studied the US President.

President Hayes leaned back in his chair. "It was the International Oversite Advisory prerogative that prevented us from taking a more proactive stance." He paused, looking at each of them in turn. "But now, we can no longer sit idly by."

Bridge, USS Odyssey
Geosynchronous Orbit, North America

Jack O'Neill nodded solemnly as he got off subspace communication with the President. He knew the gravity of the situation. Fighting the Goa'uld and the Ori hadn't been easy, but this was different. The Lucian Alliance didn't have the same power structure, they were like a hydra, cut off one head and another grows back. He looked around the bridge. The bridge crew is busy with their work, unaware of the impending storm that was about to hit.

"What did the President say?" Senator Adam Shaifer, who had accompanied Jack, asked anxiously.

Jack's eyes never left the starlit viewport. "He's declaring war on the Lucian Alliance," he replied, his jaw tightening.

Shaifer's eyes widened. "Would that be secretly or he will publicly announce it?"

O'Neill nodded. "The President will announce it to the Senate and the UN Security Council first. We can't have the enemy know our plans before we're ready to act." He turned to the young Senator. "How come you are not surprised at all of this?"

"In a spaceship built by the United States?" Adam Shaifer's said with no surprise in his voice.

Jack gave him a sideways glance. "We actually contract out to the Hybridian in exchange for the design of a naquada reactor."

Shaifer nodded, his eyes widening slightly at the mention of the alien ally. "I see," he murmured, his voice filled with newfound respect for the Earth's capabilities. "How many ships are under construction by the Hybridians?"

O'Neill turned to the young Senator. "You will see."

He turns to the commander of the Odyssey, middle age man with blond hair and piercing blue eyes. His name 'Ronson' is stitched on his black uniform.

"Colonel Ronson," Jack addressed the Odyssey's commander. "Take us out to the dark side of the moon."

"Dark side?" Adam Shaifer's eyes darted to Colonel Ronson.

"Yes sir." Colonel Ronson acknowledged with a firm nod, his gaze flicking to the navigation display as he relayed the order to the helmsmen.

As the sub light engines of the Odyssey came to life, it propel the ship away from Earth's orbit towards the moon. The stars outside the viewport looked like a sea of diamond scattered across a velvet black sky. The silence of space is the only thing that fills the bridge. It only took the ship ten minutes to reach the dark side of the moon when structures of a shipyard in stationary orbit of the moon came into view.

There are five drydocks in the moon's shadow, each one housing a massive spacecraft in various stages of construction. The ships are the same design as the Odyssey, but the sixth dry dock is smaller. It's about the size of the hanger bay of the Odyssey. Construction drones flitted around, fabricating and wielding pieces of hull plating into the shape of a new ship.

The names of the ship could be seen painted on the side of the vessels, The Ajax, Sachsen, Kiang Soo, Vengeur and the Hung Lung. The last one, the smallest, had no name yet, but it was clear that it was something special.

Down at the surface of the moon is the moonbase, where President Hayes and President Park. The dome of Moonbase Alpha stood as a gleaming bastion of human ingenuity, casting a soft glow over the otherwise untouched lunar surface. Frome the view of the bridge of the Odyssey, Adam Shaifer's eyes widened at the sight.

"Astounding," he breathed.
