Chapter two
February 14th, 1998, The park
Jason wakes up and it takes him a second but he knows where he is and when he is he sees a hand grab Elizabeth and runs and stops the bastard from taking her innocence. "Get off of her you bastard. Run Elizabeth Run and get help." Jason said. She is stunned but she runs to get help and lowly Jason says " I am going to make sure you go to prison and I am going to make sure you are someone's bitch and then when you least expect I will fucking kill you." He puts him to sleep and throws him on the ground and Elizbeth finds a cop and it is Taggert. " Look who it is Anger boy." He said. " Hey don't call him that he saved me that man over there was going to rape me and he saved me. So arrest that guy and stop harassing him. Sorry, I know you are my classmate's brother but I forgot your name." She said.
" I am Jason." He said. " How did you know my name?" She asks. " Your grandmother works at the hospital with my parents," Jason says. " Oh well thank you for saving me," Elizabeth says. " I am going to need a statement from you both so meet me there. Let's go asshole." Taggert said after he read him his rights. Jason notices she is cold and takes his jacket. " Here I know your Jacket is dirty and I don't feel extreme temperatures and this thermal will keep me warm," Jason said. " Oh my gosh, Elizabeth what happened," Lucky said. " What happened asshole is that you stood me up for Sarah and I was almost attacked a perfect stranger saved me no thanks to you. Forget that I exist Lucky and go and drool over Sarah. Come on Jason."
" I have to make a quick call on this payphone and then we can go I promise," Jason says. " Sure I will stand over there," Elizabeth says. " No it is fine it is nothing too personal," Jason says he does not want to let her out of his sight ever. " Hey, it is me listen I need you to keep watch over Micheal I am going to be late. I am fine but something important came up. I will see you guys later." He hangs up and says "My car is over there." How did he know that?
They do their statements and after that, he drives her home. " I want to say thank you again for saving me and I feel so embarrassed I do not want to face my Grams or Sarah. They probably think I am being dramatic." Elizabeth said. " You made a new friend and I will back you and if you ever need a place to escape let me know and I will make it happen for you. Here is my home phone number and I have a cell phone as well. I have a voicemail in case I am busy. Here is a secondary phone I never use take it and you can hide it somewhere. I will never call you so you won't get in trouble but you can call me alright." Jason said. " Why are being so nice to me?" Elizabeth asks curiously. He thinks because in another lifetime you were my world but you are too young for me right now so I have to settle for being your friend.
" I know what like to have family not accept you for who you are and I feel like we have met before you know," Jason said. "It is strange I have that feeling too. Two kindred misfits. I like it. Thanks for everything and here is your jacket." Elizabeth said. He almost tells her to keep but this time he is in love with Robin and has Micheal he has a lot of mistakes to fix. " No problem I will see you around Webber," Jason said. " I learned your last name finally so bring it on Morgan." Elizabeth gets out and he makes sure she makes it to her door. He makes a phone call " Yeah it is me listen without question do not let anyone know this assignment and you are not to be seen. I trust you and your crime partner to protect Elizabeth Webber with your life."
