NYC, August 2002
After launching her Venice gallery was successful and Jason would travel back and forth and would bring Micheal of course. After spending six more months she came back to Port Charles she was one the most sought-after artists and she was helping up-and-coming artists as well. She and Jason moved into together and the jerk built her dream house. He tricked her again but she rewarded him over and over again. She broke up with Anthony before she found Jason because it was not fair to him. She took a chance and it paid off. They go out to dinner to celebrate Emily because she decided she wanted to be a doctor and is going to California next week so they are enjoying each other with a weekend out and Nikolas and Emily are a couple. Lucky is with Sarah after his father beat Helena at her own game. She is civil for Emily's sake and Nikolas is not that bad. " Baby hurry up we are going to be to be late. How are the older one who has multiple businesses and our little boy and yet you are late." Elizabeth said.
Micheal comes her mama and Carly well she reared her ugly head and married Sonny as a power play but Jason shut her down. So he is still in business with Sonny and Carly stays away even though she is still pining after Elizabeth's man. She shut that down real quick and she marked the fuck out of Jason and had him screaming her name and he passed out. It was petty and possessive but she didn't care. She had waited for him and he technically had to wait longer so nope all hers. She has a surprise for him when they get back if he would hurry up.
" If I am late it is not my fault it would be yours. You came in here and rubbed yourself all over and then dropped to your knees." He said. " I was there but you have no business looking that damn good and it was my duty as your girlfriend to make sure you know whose ass that is before we go out." She said. " I am ready and you are one to talk with that dress you are wearing. I am going to have to cover you when you get out of the car so you don't flash anyone." Jason said. " Yeah, you should do that. I am not wearing any panties. Now come on baby, let's have fun." She said. She hears him mutter something but she laughs because she loves teasing him. " I am sorry my big baby, I will make it up to you later." She said. " You better," he said
They went out and it was a nice and fancy restaurant and they had a good time. As they are leaving a car slows down and starts to shoot and Jason covers her while Nikols covers Emily. " Is everyone okay?" Nikolas asks. " Oh my god,h Elizabeth," Emily says. " Call 911 Em." Jason takes off his suit jacket and she is hit in the left shoulder. " Baby look at me you are going to be okay. You have to be okay. I love you so much." Jason says. " Jason you have to protect our baby please I can't lose it," Elizabeth says. No, not again. " I am right here. I love you both."
" It went straight through and she thankfully did not lose a lot of blood." Dr. Jackson said. " What about our baby?" Jason said. " She is in the OB-GYN asking for you," they said and Jason rushed into her room. She is smiling, which is a good sign.
" Hey doc, my boyfriend cannot see 2D images. Can you describe our baby to him?" Elizabeth said. " Sure this is the sac here and it is about 8 weeks. As you hear the heartbeat is fast and strong. So your baby is safe." they said. He prints multiple copies and Elizabeth looks so happy. " You hear that our baby is okay and no one else was hurt." She said. It feels like the other version when she was shot but this time is different. He was supposed to be safe. Who did this and why? He will find out and kill them until then they are going to up the guards. " Our baby is going to be amazing just like you," Jason said.
November 2002
She just finished her last round of physical therapy and she found out what they were having Jason got called away on a business trip but she is not naive, he is looking for the person responsible for her getting hurt. He was here for her birthday and they celebrated but he slowly drifted away and she wanted to fix it. She cannot lose him. He is her first love and her soulmate. He came back in time to back with her and yet he is pulling away. She wakes up and finds him on the couch again.
" Wake up, we need to talk," Elizabeth says. " I just got in, can it wait," Jason says. " I would let you rest if I thought you would not run away from me." She said. " I am not running, I have been busy," he said. " Busy my ass you missed the ultrasound to find out the gender and you are barely here and when you are you sleep on the couch or one of the guest rooms. Do you still love me?" She asks. " Of course I love you. I love you more than anything. I need to find out who is responsible in order to protect you both. I wish I had taken that bullet and not you. You could have lost your ability to paint all because of me. I made all these changes so that you would be safe and I failed again." Jason shouts. " You did not fail. We are alive. I need you to stop pushing me away." Elizabeth says. His phone goes off and he answers. He nods and hangs up. " I gotta go." Jason grabs his jacket and leaves. " What are we going to do little ones?" Elizabeth says.
