Eleven year old Rhea Jackson ran, not understanding what was going on. But she was going to blame it on her with field trips, which always seem to turn out bad.

They had taken a trip to Striaton City, where a battle for the Revolution of Unova had taken place. It had been going so well too, or so Rhea had thought, when the cannon that she had been looking at had set up, and had unfortunately hit the school bus.

What made matters worse though, was when a giant snake had emerged from the wreckage hissing angrily about half blood ruining its dozing and that it was going to eat her as vengeance. Rhea didn't understand what a half blood was, but she knew that this thing that was not some sort of regional Arbok or Serviper but just a giant snake was now chasing her to eat her.

Heart pounding, Rhea ran, no caring for the branches that whip at her face. Running through the ruins of an abandoned research factory, she cries out as she trips, landing on her face. Grimacing in pain, Rhea pushes herself up, her arms shaking a bit.

"Sssssstuppid Half-Blood! Thinking you could get away from me, after waking me up sssssssso rudely. I am going to eat you whole child!" the snake screams lunging for her. Rhea's eyes widen, staring in horror as she stares at the large fangs dripping with drool getting closer to her head when a bout of water hits the snake in the middle.

Rhea blinks, staring with wide eyes at the sea otter standing in front of her. They had a white spherical head with small, triangular dark blue ears on the sides. Their dark black eyes were narrow in anger as they held a scalchop in their little white paw, "Osha…Osha…Wott!" the shell glowed a brilliant dark purple, becoming longer and sharper. Rhea stared at this little Oshawott, standing in front of her protectively in awe and shock as the giant snake hisses in rage.

But once more before the monster could attack either of them, another wave of water hits them, but this one was different. Rhea stares with wide eyes as the trident shape water stabs the giant snake in the middle, the monster making a choking sound, slowly turning to golden dust. "Of course you just had to gain our father's talent in getting into trouble.

Rhea looked up with wide eyes to see a man…that looked a lot like her. Same skin color, which was a deep tan as if he spent days on a beach, black locks that he was keeping in a ponytail. The only difference were the eyes. While Rhea had bright green eyes, this man had dark blue eyes, the eyes of an ocean during a great storm. "Wait what?" she turns her gaze towards him, "What do you mean our father,"

The man sighs, closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose, "This is not how things should go…this is not right…but I understand father's reasoning…if our Uncles find out about you so soon," he shakes his head and walks over to her. Rhea scoots away trying to escape but couldn't as she grabs her arm, "Do not fear little sister. While I know you are confuse, I am telling the truth. As your brother, no harm shall come to you,"

"That's reassuring," Rhea mutters, even as she eyes him with a bit of fear, "But my mom told me to not talk to strangers, especially crazy ones who think their my brother! My father is dead!"

"No he is alive, " the man stated, "Now hush…I can not speak more until we are a safe place away. You don't know who could be listening," Rhea frowns at this but her mouth then opens at the sight of the Pokemon that sat on the sand and water of a beach when they broke free from the forest. A Kingdra floated regally beside a Lapras that stared at Rhea cooly. A Carracosta stood tall and proudly, bearing many scars from battles on his back while a beautiful Milotic spreads themselves on the sand, soaking up the sun's rays.

"Woah…" Rhea whispers, staring at the Pokemon. She shivers a bit when their eyes met her. They felt older, way older than they could possibly be. She turns towards the man and frowns. She felt the same feeling from the man. He was older than he looked, "Who are you?"

The man sighs and stood up proudly, "I am Prince Triton of Atlantis, " he places his hand on the Carracosta's back, "Messenger God of the Sea, God of the Navy, son of Poesidon and Amphitrite,"

Rhea blinks at this, her mother had told her stories of the Gods of the Parthenon Region, which was what Unova, Orre and Alola was once called when their were one region, "Wait-your telling me there's such things as Gods…like in the Myths?"

Triton nods his head, settling himself down onto the sand, Rhea following his example feeling that this was going to take a while, "Yes Gods, as in, great beings that control the forces of nature and human endeavors: the immortal gods of Olympus,"

"Zeus, Hera…Apollo…Poseidon…" thunder rumbled in the sky, making Rhea jump but look up. Just like it was before she had made the bus explode with a cannon, the sky was clear, no cloud in sight, "You.." she stutters out.

"Names have powers, little sister," Triton warns, "I suggest you be careful about how you go throwing out names..we don't want to attract attention,"

Rhea nods her head, biting at her lip, "But they're stories," she said, looking at him like he was crazy, "Myths, to explain lightning and the seasons and stuff. They're what people believed before science and what they couldn't believe that Pokemon could do,"

Triton snorts, "I'll be careful who you mention science too, many gods do not take kindly to it." he shakes his head, "And you may choose to believe or not but the fact is immortal means immortal. We never die, existing just as you are for all time," he shakes his head, "But that is not why I am here…"

"Why are you here," Rhea asked, raising an eyebrow, "If you are a God, then why did you come help me…" she frowns, "And if you are my brother…and that… that means Poseidon is my father,"

"Lost at sea," her mother once said when she asked about her father, "Not dead. Lost at sea,"

"She knew…she knew who he was…that's why she said that…"

"Correct," Triton stated with a nod of his head, "Usually I wouldn't care about my demigod siblings. My mother may treat them better than most would treat their stepchildren but I still think its a great shame that he would cheat on her," he spats out making Rhea wince. Triton grimaces, raising a hand, "Though…you are the first demigod child of our father that is born a girl… and while I understand father's fears..I think that he is doing this the wrong way.."

"The wrong way?" Rhea asked.

"My father…in my option is the best parent to any demigod child. At the age of ten he tells them of their heritage and gifts them with their first Pokemon," Triton smiles softly at the Milotic who croons, slithering over to him and resting their head onto his lap. He softly pets them, "The thing different about you is because of the Cipher War,"

"The Cipher War," Rhea mutters. She had heard about the war, had learned of it in class. 61 years ago, the regions had been at war. For many years, the region of Orren had been under the influence of a criminal organization by the name of Cipher, who had weaponize their pokemon by turning them into Shadow Pokemon. The other regions had been unprepared for their assault as they felt that since Orre had hardly been an organized region there was no need to worry. All the regions had regretted that mistake for the next 6 years were the most brutal war that the regions ever had.

"After that war, the Big Three…the sons of the Crooked One agreed they wouldn't sire any more demigods. Their children were just two powerful. They were affecting the course of human events too much, causing too much carnage. The Cipher War basically a fight between the sons of Zeus and Poseidon on one side, and the sons of Hades on the other. The winning side, Zeus and Poseidon, made Hades swear an oath with them: no more affairs with mortals. They all swore on the River Styx,"

Rhea takes a shaky breath as thunder boom again, "That… that means I… I shouldn't exist doesn't it. I'm a mistake,"

"No…no you are not," Rhea looks up with confusion at Triton, "Father loves you very much. So very much but because of the oath he can't see you as of right…because he doesn't want his brothers to see you," Rhea could see a flash of concern in his blue eyes, "But I am not part of Olympus..so they wouldn't be caring for what I do. So…I shall be guiding you,"

"Guiding me?" She then felt little paws knead at her legs and looks to the Oshawott who blinks their small black eyes up at her.

"Yes guide and to give you your first Pokemon," Triton nodded to the little otter as they scramble into Rhea's lap. The ten year old gasps, her eyes widen as she wraps her arms around them, holding him tightly, "Level 5, male. With the egg move Night Slash,"

"He's mine?" Rhea whispers, looking at the Oshawott, and frowns. Smelly Gabe would never let her have him. "I don't think I can…" she yelps, grabbing the Pokeball that he threw at her before it hit her in the face.

"He is yours now," Triton said and Rhea could tell there was no arguing with him. She didn;t understand what was going on, but something told her that her life would never be the same.

Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood.

If you're reading this because you think you might be one, my advice is: close this book right now. Believe whatever lie your mom or dad told you about your birth, and try to lead a normal life.

Being a half-blood is dangerous. Its scary. Most of the time, it gets you killed in painful nasty ways.

If you're a normal kid, reading this because you think its fiction, great. Read on. I envy you for being able to believe that none of this ever happen.

But if you recognized yourself in these pages- if you feel something stirring inside- stop reading immediately. You might be one of us. And once you know that, its only a matter of time before they sense it too, and they'll come for you.

Don't say I didn't warn you.
