We don't own Total Drama, only our OC's.
Remaining Players: Lin, Lucille, Brittany, Dante/Damiano, Lila, Tracy, Brad, and Tatiana
"Last time on Total Drama Canadian Travels," Chris began the famous recap. "Our nine remaining contestants traveled to Quebec City, where they went to an abandoned building, as Jerusha would be hunting them down! It was a tough challenge, filled with fear and excitement, with Dante ending up winning the sole vote, and immunity; while he chose to eliminate Dianne, who nearly got her leg twisted after trying to kick the much taller guy."
"Something is seriously up with Dante…do you really think his alternate personality is back?" Alexis glanced at Chris.
"Who cares, it's bringing drama! But 8 remain, and tonight, we'll be down to 7! Who will be the unlucky one to say goodbye to the competition? Find out, on this episode of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!" Chris announced.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind.
You asked me what I wanted to be
and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Whistling in tune)
Episode 22 - Down Memory Lane
Quebec City, Quebec
"Good morning everyone! We're headed back to Toronto, Ontario, as we're going to the abandoned film lot for the next challenge! McLean out!"
Brittany and Lucille looked at one another, with intrigue on their faces. They would chat with one another as they headed down to the lobby.
"I'm gonna find Lila, and bring back her locket," Lucille said.
"We don't have time for this," Brittany sighed.
"I'm trying to be a better person," Lucille would argue.
"Listen, just hold onto it for just a bit longer. Please?" Brittany asked.
Lucille bit her lip, before sighing. "Okay."
Lin, Brad, Tatiana and Lila
"The abandoned film lot?" Brad asked. "As in, the same one from this show's second season?"
"Seems that way." Lin replied.
"If our challenge is going to be there, it's likely that it'll be either movie-themed or something related to the older seasons." Tatiana pondered. Lila hurried over to her three friends, her hair a bit disheveled as she looked a bit frantic.
"Have- Have any of you three seen my locket?!" She asked.
"No." Brad answered. "Did you happen to drop it during the last challenge?"
"No! I always have it in my pocket and I was definitely holding onto it yesterday!"
"Then it must have fallen out of your pocket during the last ceremony. Try looking around there." Lin said.
"Right…" Lila nodded before hurrying off.
"Speaking of that last ceremony, what the hell happened with Dante?" Tatiana groaned. "Is that alternate personality of his in control, or something?"
"Seems that way. The last time it happened his girlfriend managed to put Dante back in control somehow. He's supposed to be taking his medication, but either he slipped up and forgot to, or something else is going on." Lin explained.
"Dante also doesn't seem like the type to forget something that important. Something tells me Brittany, and by extension, Lucille, might have done something." Brad added.
"Well, if they did pull something, we're going to have to fix it, because they certainly won't. Problem is, how are we going to fix it?"
Lila and Lucille
Lucille would notice Lila near the elimination ceremony area, searching for her locket. The red-haired girl looked through nearby bushes and even through the trash for her trinket, her panic increasing and her eyes appearing to water…
Lucille bit her lip, wanting to give the necklace back, but before she could, Chris's voice would be heard on the loudspeakers.
"Attention, everyone, it's time to board the bus! Come to the bus, pronto, or else you'll face a disadvantage in today's challenge! McLean out!"
Lucille sighed, and would head to the bus, Lila let out a soft whine before leaving as well.
At the bus
Chris would be tapping his foot, waiting for the contestants. Tracy was the first to arrive, the country girl looking rather indifferent about Chris's announcement until Damiano arrived next. The moment she saw him coming, her gaze shifted to a look of caution as she kept her distance from the malevolent personality. Following Damiano would be Brittany and Lucille, the violinist frowning a little. Lin and the trio of redheads arrived last, the four looking at Damiano with caution before shifting their gazes over to Lucille and Brittany with a mix of other emotions.
"Okay, good, we're all here," Chris did a quick headcount. "Get on board, everyone."
Once everyone was on board, the bus began to drive.
"Did you happen to find your locket?" Lin asked, looking over at Lila, who was cleaning herself up with a few moist towelettes.
"No." She sighed. "I don't understand it though, I had it with me all day yesterday and I always keep it in my pocket! But last night I noticed it was gone. I knew it was too late for me to be running around looking for it, so I thought it would be better to wait until morning…"
"What's so important about it?" Brad asked. "I'm assuming it has a picture of your family or someone else special in it?"
"Yeah… If I can find it I'll show you all…"
From a different seat on the bus, Tracy sat by herself, looking out of the window both out of curiosity of the Canadian sights, and to avert her gaze away from Damiano, who sat in one of the seats on the other side of the aisle. The wicked man sitting perfectly still, creating an awkward and ominous silence.
Lucille and Brittany would be seated together, the young violinist taking out her violin to play it, to try and break the silence.
"We need to talk about strategy," Brittany said.
"For the challenge?" Lucille asked.
Brittany nodded. "Indeed."
"Well, we should just do our best, considering we're going to the abandoned film lot," Lucille shrugged.
"Fine, whatever, we'll do our best," Brittany huffed.
*Confessionals*
Damiano: "The others can put all their attention on me, it won't change the fact that they're screwed. I can tear them limb from limb if they so much as look at me wrong!"
*static*
Lila: "I don't think I could go on if I lose my locket! My mother gave it to me!"
*static*
Lin: "It's sad that Lila lost something of hers, but right now that's her responsibility. Right now I need to focus on making sure I either win the challenge or can advance to the next round. There's only eight of us left and, as much as I don't want to say it, I don't want to have to go against Brad later in the game."
*static*
Brittany: "This competition is getting tougher. I just know it. Perhaps we're gonna need Dante back, because Damiano is really starting to freak me out."
*static*
Lucille: "I really want to give this locket back to Lila…and try to give Dante his medication back…but how?"
*static*
Tracy: "Man, Dante's freaking me out right now! Or is he that Damiano personality that some of the others were going on about? Ugh, this is way too much to deal with right now! I already have to deal with two different alliances going against each other on top of me being in the top eight!"
*static*
Tatiana: "Lila's missing locket, Dante's medication being gone… Now I can't just make the assumption that Brittany or Lucille stole both of them, but I can't rule out that possibility."
*static*
Brad: "While the thought of having to go against Lin isn't one I enjoy, it may be a possibility I have to look out for. Now, I obviously can't go on making predictions or statements that might not hold up, but Damiano being in control and Lila's focus on her locket may place a bigger target on both of them than me, which could give me a chance to make it to the next round. I would rather not betray Lila like that, but we talked about this when this alliance began. It's nothing personal against her, just business."
*End Confessionals*
The Film Lot
"Welcome to the abandoned film lot, from Total Drama Action," Chris began. "It's been a while since Chef and I have been here, so excuse us if it's a little dusty. But we've brought you here today not just for the ratings boost of coming to an old location, but because the nostalgia will come into play for today's challenge. Scattered around the film lot are different items that relate to some of Total Drama's previous contestants, some could be as old as the first season while others could be as recent as Pahkitew Island. Whoever can find one of these items and bring them back to me here at the bus in three hours is safe. Anyone who can't is immediately booted from the game, no ifs, ands, or buts!"
"Sudden death? This just got interesting," Brittany smirked. "So, it's only one item we have to find?"
"Wouldn't it make sense to have us find one item from each of the three casts?" Lucille asked.
"Each contestant, that being each of you, will have to find one item." Chris clarified, giving the violinist an annoyed glare. "It could be something like the wooden skull Duncan carved for Courtney, or a fake Manchineel fruit that Samey gave to her sister, Amy. There's a limited number though, you all just need to find one of those items and bring them back to me. Does that make sense to you?"
"Okay, okay," Lucille held her hands up in defense. "I was just clarifying."
"Well, now you know. Now get to it!" Chris exclaimed, pulling out his air horn and not hesitating to blast it.
Brittany and Lucille would head off to the trailers that the Screaming Gaffers and Killer Grips used during the season.
"Any luck giving that locket back?" Brittany asked.
"No, I was going to, but Chris called for us to get to the bus," Lucille sighed.
"Okay," Brittany said. "Let's find this item."
"If we know what we have to find," Lucille sighed. "Chris only said it was from one of the three casts."
"That makes it harder," Brittany let out.
Tracy
"Hmm… Where do I even start?" Tracy asked herself as she found herself wandering into the alien movie set. "Man, this place is weird!" She grumbled to herself. "At least whatever I'm looking for should be out of place compared to everything else…"
As the country girl continued looking around the set, the shadow of a mysterious figure was silently following her. As Tracy entered the next part of the set, a chill ran down her spine, both telling her to look behind her and warning her not to.
Ultimately the blonde girl took the chance and quickly spun her body around to find… nobody there…
Letting out a worried sigh, Tracy turned back around and hurried over to another part of the set and began looking around before noticing what looked like a piece of broken machinery that was singled out among the dark-grey walls and green liquid in glass tanks by virtue of being a lighter grey color with a small glass screen.
Tracy carefully picked up the item and inspected it all over, noticing a small piece of white tape stuck onto the back that read 'Property of Sam'. As she picked up the old game console, the sound of footsteps unsettled her enough for her to make a break for the nearest exit, with the shadow figure following after her…
Lin, Brad, Tatiana, and Lila
The four teens decided to remain as a group as they stuck to the old monster movie set. Fake cardboard buildings and cars were scattered around them amongst much larger wooden set pieces.
"So, Brad, do you have a plan?" Tatiana asked.
"Well, the fact that this is a sudden-death challenge makes things much more difficult for me to properly plan out. But if I had to guess, we'll find an item we're looking for in a location relative to that specific former contestant." The only boy in the group explained.
"So if this is the monster movie set, we should be looking for something related to a former player that either acted like a monster in the figurative sense of their behavior and action, or if they literally dressed up like a monster?" Tatiana asked.
"Well, yes, but that's just what I think Chris would have planned. Whether or not I'm correct or not isn't certain."
"There's also a chance that there isn't anything in this set at all." Lin added. "We won't know unless we search the entire area, and we don't have that kind of time."
"Then we'll have to try and match the old players with what kind of movie set they would best fit in. I seem to recall one of the challenges in the second season taking place on a beach set, so I'd wager that Bridgette's old surfboard would be there." The tallest redhead smirked.
"There was also a challenge based on rock musicians, if I recall. Seems like the perfect place to put Trent's guitar." Brad noted.
"So we have options, we'd better move out before the others before they beat us." Lin nodded. At that moment, the three noticed that Lila was completely silent as she had sat down on the curb of the set's street.
"Hey, I know you're still upset about your locket, but we need you right now! If you don't get your head in the game then you'll be the next one gone, and you'll likely lose your locket for good. But if you can stay in the game then we'll help you find it, or at least figure out what exactly happened to make you lose it. I promise." Tatiana explained, putting a hand on her shoulder and moving Lila's chin up to make her look at Tatiana and the rest of their group.
"Hey, there is also a Western movie set." Brad added. "You told us a while back that you grew up in a rural farming town, and you were really helpful in that horse challenge much earlier in the game. It's not exactly much, but maybe going there will help get your mind off of things and bring back some good memories."
"I didn't know you two would be so sympathetic…" Lila smiled, standing back up. "Maybe I should head over there. I'll try to find something quick so we can all win, alright?"
"Of course." Lin nodded. "Just try to look after yourself."
With that, the four teens separated to search the different movie sets.
Brittany and Lucille
The two girls began to search around the two team trailers.
"Anything yet?" Brittany asked.
"Nope," the violinist sighed.
"We'll find something," Brittany let out. "I know it."
"But what?" Lucille pondered, putting a hand to her chin.
"Okay, maybe we need to find something from one of the sets," Brittany said. "I'll head over to the makeup confessional. Maybe something belonging to that dumb blonde, Lindsay will be there."
"Good luck," Lucille smiled.
Brittany nodded, before heading off.
Lucille, meanwhile, would head off to the stage where the Gilded Chris Awards were, looking around, until she found the pieces of Courtney's broken violin. "Oh god…it's broken, but I hope it'll still count…" she let out, picking up the pieces, before heading in the direction Chris was waiting for them. It took her a moment to navigate through the maze of warehouses and movie sets, but she eventually found him as well as Chef and the interns by the front gate.
"Can't say I'm surprised," Chris smirked seeing the violinist. "Now, what have you got?"
"I hope it still counts, but I found the pieces of Courtney's violin," Lucille let out, showing the host the pieces of the violin. "If not, then I can find another item, no problem."
"Pfft! Hahaha! Oh man, I remember when Bridgette accidentally broke that thing ages ago back on Wawanakwa! I'll accept it. You're safe for this round, Lucille."
Lucille breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Chris."
"Huh. I figured I'd actually be the first one for a change." Lin said as she approached the two. In her hands was a small wooden skull with a heart carved into the back as well as D & C in the center of it. "Found this in the horror movie set, by the way. Not sure if you were trying to imply anything with that."
"Well I wasn't, but now that you mention it. This being there is sort of fitting." Chris shrugged. "Either way. Congrats, Lin, you're safe, too."
"Congratulations," Lucille smiled at Lin softly, to which the shorter girl simply nodded before walking back towards the movie sets.
Brittany would eventually come with nail polish. "This is Lindsay's," she said simply.
"That it is. You're safe, Brittany."
"As expected." Brittany nodded.
Lila
The soft spoken red haired girl strolled through the Western movie set with an almost nostalgic look on her face as she walked around in silence. Memories of her family's old cattle ranch flashed before her as she looked through the empty pen. She couldn't help but smile to herself as she remembered her parents teaching her how to ride a horse and showing her how to feed the pigs, the youngest of which almost became her own personal pet before… Lila let out a sigh, not wanting to revisit those memories when they began to sour.
Instead, an odd sight came to her when she noticed a beige colored hat sitting atop one of the fence posts. It wasn't quite a cowboy's hat so Lila instantly knew it was what she was looking for as she grabbed it from the post. Instinctively, she tried the hat on, of course it was a perfect fit.
Having found what she needed, Lila hurried out of the movie set to find Chris.
Brad and Tatiana
Brad stepped out of the musical movie set with what appeared to be an electronic keyboard with a piece of tape stuck to it that simply read 'Harold' on the back of it. He seemed to be in much less of a hurry than Lila as he headed back to the main gate, though as he did, he managed to run into Tatiana, who just left the beach movie set with a red and orange surfboard.
"Good to see you've found something." Brad greeted.
"Likewise. But we still have to make sure we actually get to Chris with these first, including Lin and Lila. Otherwise one of us has a good chance of losing the challenge, and none of us can risk having that happening."
Brad looked ahead, his expression softening just a bit.
"Well we at least know Lila's safe." He said, as he saw Lila wearing Geoff's old hat walking towards Chris with Lin by her side. Soon enough, the red haired duo caught up to them.
"I see you two have found two items belonging to one of Total Drama's longest lasting couples, and something of Harold's but he's not important." Chris said.
"Chris, that's an ever-so rude thing to say!" Lila replied.
"Whatever. Either way, you three are all safe. So it's just down to Tracy and Dante now." Chris explained before letting out a confused hum. "Hm. Figured one of them would be back by now…"
Lucille looked a bit worried. "I think we should go and find them. What if something bad happened to them?"
"In this old place?" Chris asked, raising an eyebrow. "Doubt it. The only thing that's here anymore is a bunch of dust. But we do need to get a move on. Go find them."
"Wow, someone's awfully nice…" Charlene huffed as she and the band all shook their heads in disapproval.
Tracy and Damiano
"Get off of me!" Tracy grunted as she tried to push Damiano off of her. The brute had already banged her head against a wall and given her a nasty bruise on the side of her face. She didn't know what had gotten into him, why he chose to target her, or what he was after, but at this point there was no point in asking these questions. He chose to attack, so she chose to defend herself.
Thankfully, she was no slouch when it came to brawls. Tracy could thank her older brothers for that. The injuries that Damiano gave her, she paid back in full by giving him a black eye and a bloody nose.
As the two brawled, the rest of the contestants were walking by each of the movie sets, checking to find either of the two but finding nothing.
"I know Chris said there isn't anyone or anything we need to look out for, but I still feel as if something is… ever-so wrong. Do any of you feel the same way?" Lila asked as the six remaining teens approached the alien movie set.
"A bit," Lucille said. "Hopefully, we can find Dante and Tracy."
"I thought it was made very clear that Dante's not in control of himself right now." Tatiana noted. "The question is, why did he stop taking his medication. If that was a choice he made at all…"
Just as it looked like Lucille or Brittany were going to say something, Tracy and Damiano came barrelling out of the movie set pummelling each other.
"Um, hello?! A little help here?!" Tracy called out.
Brittany would hurry over to restrain Damiano, only to be met with a sudden kick to her side.
"Oh, you're gonna regret that…" Brittany growled.
Brad hurried to grab Damiano's arms and bring them behind his back, only for him to take an elbow to the side of his head.
Lucille would try to help restrain the taller boy. "Don't. You. Dare."
"Dare I what? Beat the hell out of you? Well it's going to happen anyway. I've waited long enough for a chance to be in control again and I'm not giving it up again! If that means turning you all into bloody pulps then so be it!"
"You talk too much!" Lin hissed as she jumped onto Damiano's back and tried to restrain him with a headlock. Damiano tried reaching for her only to have his arms held back by Tatiana and Lila. Brittany would take the chance and take the bottle of Dante's medication out of her pocket. After taking a moment to open the bottle and grab some of the pills, she hurried over to the brute in order to shove the pills down his throat, along with some water. However, Damiano thrashed his head around as much as he could.
"What the hell are you doing with Dante's medication?!" Lin shouted.
"Did you steal them from him?" Tatiana asked. "That means you two are the ones that caused this!"
"That is such an-"
"An 'ever-so' wrong thing to do!" Tracy called out, cutting Lila off. "Can we please save this for when this guy's down?!"
"We'll explain after," Brittany said. "We did it for a good reason."
Lucille hesitantly approached Damiano and grabbed his chin in a manner that forced his mouth open. Taking the chance, Brittany finally forced the pills and water down his throat. Once Damiano swallowed the medication, he began coughing as everyone slowly let him go. The brute grabbed at his throat and looked at the rest of the teens with utter malice before Tracy kicked him in the face, finally knocking him out.
"Was that kick really necessary?" Brad asked.
"Maybe not, but the guy snuck up on me and attacked me out of nowhere. I think I'm justified in getting just a bit of revenge." The country girl huffed.
"Well. We found the two of you. Let's just get you back to Chris and move on." Tatiana sighed as she and Lila lifted up Dante's unconscious body.
"What the hell happened?!" Chris shouted seeing Dante unconscious state as well as the injuries the rest of the group were now sporting.
"Let's just say we had a bit of an argument." Lin sighed.
"A bit?" Roderick chuckled.
"Regardless. One of you is still getting the boot and since Dante's down for the count, Tracy, do you have something you'd like to give me?" Chris asked.
"Yup! I put it into my pocket before Dante or Damiano or… whatever his name is attacked me." The country girl said, digging into her pocket. Her proud smile soon faltered to an unsure frown as she began frantically checking her other pockets. "Wait a minute…"
With a gasp, Tracy hurried over to Dante and checked his pockets, after a moment she pulled out the Game Guy she found in the set.
"And Dante's managed to save himself from elimination!" Chris announced.
"WHAT?!" Tracy gasped. "But I was the one that found this thing!"
"Maybe you did find it, but Dante was the one that brought it back to me, even if he's knocked out. So, technically, he's safe. But since everyone's here and you're without an item, then I'm afraid you're the one leaving the game."
"Oh now that is just not fair!" Tracy grumbled.
"Those were the rules," Alexis let out. "But I can say you played really well, Tracy. My uncle made a bet with Chris thinking you'd be out pre-merge."
"That's not helping…"
Elimination Ceremony
"Well, Tracy, any final words before you board the Bus of Losers?" Chris asked the country girl, who had her bags packed. Her previous injuries were now bandaged up and she looked much cleaner now.
"Yeah. So I've cooled down a bit. I guess I got pretty angry back there. But even though the rest of you aren't exactly friends, I do want to say thanks for being nice to me. I didn't think I'd actually get this far and overall, I'd say it was pretty fun. Even if I did go out because of some cheap technicalities."
"Aww, how delightfully corny and bland." Chris cooed.
"Wait!" Dante called out, running out of the hotel with his own bags packed. "I'm quitting." He said flatly.
"What the hell?!" Chris let out.
"I can't take it anymore!" Dante growled. "I don't know what happened, but one night I was going to take my pills and the next thing I know I'm in the infirmary with bangs and bruises all over. Then I found out Damiano was in control and… and he was hurting people again. I tried so hard to forget about the things he did before and how much he hurt people before I came on to this show. I thought I was taking my medication like I was supposed to and that I was getting better, but then this happens. … So I quit. I can't handle the stress of all this anymore. I need some time away from this and to sort myself out."
"Fine, whatever," Chris threw up his hands. "Quit. Then both of you, get on the bus, NOW!"
"Dang, Chris, the guy practically pours his heart out about his mental health problems and that's what you gotta say?!" Jimmy said as he helped Dante pack his things onto the bus as Kevin took Tracy's bags.
"Dork…" Kevin added as he passed by Chris.
"I had this special challenge planned for the final seven, but I've got to change it," Chris grumbled in annoyance, before turning to the camera. "Well, after that shocking moment, we're down to the final six! Who will be the next to board the Bus of Losers? Find out, on the next episode of Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!"
The violinist would soon approach the soft spoken girl. "I wanted to give this back to you sooner, but…" she sighed. "Here." She pulled out the locket out of her pocket. "I kept it safe for you after you dropped it during the last elimination ceremony."
"Wait. You had it? This whole time?!" Lila gasped, snatching her locket back. "But you stole Dante's medication! How can I trust you?!"
"I didn't want to!" Lucille teared up. "Brittany thought that having Damiano back in control would help us get rid of you, Brad, and Tatiana!"
"So you did it to target us?!" Tatiana hissed. "I bet taking Lila's locket was just a way of breaking her down psychologically."
"I didn't take it. I found it the night of the previous elimination. I wanted to give it back right away, but Brittany wanted me to hang on to it for a bit longer," Lucille let out.
"Yeah, I bet she did want to do that, and you went right along and did what she asked." Brad scoffed before turning to Lila. "Come on, Lila, you have your locket back now. Everything's going to be alright. We should all head in and get to bed anyway."
While the rest of her alliance were about to head inside, Lila suddenly stood up and looked at both Lucille and Brittany with tear-filled eyes with a fierce gaze of determination.
"I'm tired of you two lying to me, and I'm ever-so tired of everyone always picking on me and claiming that I'm perfect! I never wanted for people to see me that way, okay?! But from now on I swear I will do everything I can to beat you two."
"You forget you're dealing with a mob boss, princess," Brittany sneered.
"You can send your whole mob after me. I don't care anymore. Nor do I care if my ever-so 'annoying' verbal tic bothers you. Now, goodnight." Lila huffed as she and her alliance mates headed inside the hotel.
As they all entered one of the elevators, the others couldn't help but give the girl impressed grins.
"Not bad. I didn't think you'd ever tell someone off like that. Let alone stand up to Brittany." Lin smirked.
"Thanks. I suppose I just got so angry out there that I just snapped." Lila began as she looked at her locket. "And here I thought that Lucille was genuinely nice and that Brittany was just stringing her along for a ride."
"Just goes to show that not everyone is how they seem." Tatiana nodded. "But this game is quickly coming to the finale. There are just six of us left now."
"I know." Lila sighed. "But even if I may eventually have to go up against you all, I know I can trust you. You've all been kind to me and had my back from the start. I also promised to show you all why this locket was so important to me."
Lila opened her locket and showed the three the photo inside. It was of a woman that very closely resembled Lila, right down to the nearly identical face and the exact same shade of red hair. The only apparent difference was the appearance of freckles on the woman's cheeks and an outfit consisting of what appeared to be a green plaid blouse and blue suspenders.
"This is my mom. I wouldn't blame you if you think it's me, a lot of people say I look like she did."
"Did?" Brad asked.
"Yeah. My mom passed away from cancer a few years ago. That's the main reason why I moved from my home state of Idaho all the way to New York. That's where my dad's family is from and both his family and my mom's suggested we move there. They thought that being near our old farm would bring back too many bad memories. But not too long after moving, I started getting picked on for the exact same reason some of the other contestants did."
"They saw you as 'perfect'?" Tatiana inquired.
"Mhmm. As I got older I started looking more like my mom, and just as my family and some other people kept telling me, I had perfect red hair, eyes that are just the right shade of green. Even the clothes I wore and things I did just seemed to rub people the wrong way. I thought if I came on to this show, people would see that I'm just as flawed as anyone else."
"Well, none of us are perfect." Lin remarked. "And I think we all showed that throughout this whole season."
"But it's not over yet." Brad added. "All we need to do now is beat those two. That's what we should be focusing on for now. It won't be easy, but life itself isn't easy."
"Right. I suppose we should all get a good night's rest tonight. There's going to be a storm coming, starting in the morning! They should be ready for it just as much as we are!"
