I just want to take a moment to thank you all for your thoughtful reviews and to address some of the questions you've asked.

This is not an Edison and Olivia pairing. While there will be some interactions between Edison and Olivia, he represents someone she can rely on emotionally, in a way that's different from her relationship with her team.

Even though Fitz has a living will, CPS will still conduct an investigation to ensure everything is in order for the children. I actually know of someone who is going through a similar situation right now—they're even taking foster care/adoption classes before they can gain custody.

As for the media, well... they're always going to speculate about Fitz's condition, no matter what the White House puts out there.

And no, Mellie hasn't been laid to rest just yet.
