"Hello, People of the world! Welcome back to Omni Hour!" Kiba said into the camera. Joined by her fellow hosts, Ken and Amai.
"We're grateful to everyone who's been playing Foundation Feud! And we're happy to announce our first DLC pack!" Amai said. "And today, we're going to go over the new characters that will be added to the game! Starting with!"
YOSHINA
The screen changed to gameplay of Foundation Feud, with the new character Yoshina facing off against Fu.
"Yoshina explodes onto the screen, attacking foes with ruthless pressure," Amai said.
In-game, Yoshina launched an explosion from her back, making her rush towards Fu, reaching him quickly and then launching explosive punches that knocked him into the wall, where she proceeded to unleash a powerful and devastating explosive combo, that took off a good chunk of Fu's health, before the last hit launched him all the way to the other side of the stage.
"Yoshina is a high power rush down character, meant to get into people's faces and stay there until they're dead!" Ken said.
"While she does have amazing damage, she suffers from one big drawback," Amai added.
Back in game, Yoshina tried to launch herself at Fu, but Fu grabbed her with one of his tendrils, bringing her in and allowing him to launch his own combo against her, which did almost as much damage as Yoshina's combo did against him.
"Yoshina can deal damage, but she can't take it all that well," Kiba said. "Every battle becomes a race to see who can beat who first. Either way, if you're fighting Yoshina, expect a quick match."
SHUKU
"Continuing the theme of explosions, Shuku bursts onto the scene!" Amai said.
On-screen, Shuku was now facing off against Fu. His support gear is ready to rock.
"Unlike Yoshina, Shuku wants to keep you as far away as possible," Ken said. "And he has plenty of tools to make sure you're stuck on the other side of the screen."
Fu tried to approach Shuku, but Shuku launched a metal ball from his gauntlet, that slammed into Fu and sent him flying back.
Next, the screen switched to show Shuku fighting Kano, who tried to approach Shuku from the sky, but, Shuku used that attack again, this time aiming up and shooting a ball at Kano, blasting her out of the air.
The screen reset and Kano tried charging at him, but Shuku launched himself into the air avoiding the charge, he then launched himself to the opposite side of the screen, dropping some metal balls as he flew over, which exploded as they hit the ground keeping Kano from following him as he made it safely to the other side.
Kano flew up and dived at Shuku, but Shuku threw out a handful of balls in front of him, covering the area around him a few feet in front of him, blasting Kano back.
"Now let's talk about some of his more interesting moves," Amai said. "Starting with his flip!"
Back on screen, the battle had been reset.
Shuku flipped forward, and as his hands touched the ground, a small area on the floor turned red.
"Whenever you perform this move, you'll turn whatever part of the ground you touched, which will become explosive, and if the opponent touches it, Kaboom!" Kiba explained.
Kano rushed over to Shuku, moving over that part of the ground, which immediately exploded upon her reaching it, sending her flying back and doing a bit of damage to her.
"This can be used to extend combos! Or even interrupt enemy combos!" Amai explained.
Back on screen, Shuku grabbed Kano and used an explosion to send her flying over the red part of the ground before it exploded sending her flying up into the air. Shuku shot her repeatedly with explosive balls, knocking her out of the sky.
Next, the screen switched, and now Kano was comboing Shuku, but as she did so, she accidentally moved over the spot on the ground, making it explode and interrupting the combo.
"Of course, this attack only affects foes on the ground," Kiba added.
Back on screen, Kano flew over the red patch of ground, this time going a bit above it, so it didn't explode.
"If you're looking for a bit more air coverage, then let's move onto an even more special move," Ken said.
Shuku crouched down, and touched the ground, turning the entire floor red.
"This move is called, Minefield!" Amai explained. "By touching the ground, you activate the minefield. This separates the ground into three seconds. The left, middle, and right. But using the inputs on screen, you activate your abilities on any one of the sections. What's more, Minefield has three stages."
Shuku touched the ground again, making it glow brighter, and then he did it again, making it glow even brighter.
"The more you touch the ground, the stronger the Minefeild becomes. And it allows you to become more powerful attacks." Amai continued. " Starting with the simplest action. Explosion."
The ground under Kano, suddenly exploded, hitting her and doing a decent bit of damage, as well as knocking her into the air before she fell back down. The ground under her was now not red, while the other two sections were still glowing.
"As you saw, pretty simple. Just use the input and you'll be able to make the ground in any place you want, explode." Ken said. "This move counts as a low, so if you want to block it, you're gonna have to crouch. Stage 2 Explosion, makes a stronger explosion."
Back in game, the ground exploded under Kano again, this time doing more damage.
"And stage 3 explosion can hit people even in the air, and it is even more powerful." Ken continued.
This time Kano was in the air, and the ground exploded again, the explosion reaching Kano in the air and hitting her, doing a bunch of damage.
"Pretty simple! This next move is gonna be a bit more complicated. It's called Uprising." Amai said.
Back in game, this time the middle section of the ground blew up, sending a chunk of the ground flying into the air.
"Using this move, you can make the ground fly up, into the air. If someone is standing on that part of the ground, they'll get sent up with it." Amai explained.
In game, the ground under Kano exploded up, sending her into the air with it.
"At level 2 Uprising, the ground will move up faster, and do damage to the person hit by it," Amai added. "And level 3 sends the ground off-screen. If someone is on that piece of ground, they'll be sent off-screen as well, and will be unable to escape."
The ground under Kano exploded up once again, doing damage to her, and sending her off-screen.
"Now when you send this thing up, you can do a few things. First, Detonate!" Amai continued.
Back in game, the piece of the ground in the air that Kano was on, exploded doing good damage.
"You can make it explode, doing damage to anyone on or near it," Kiba said. "Level 2 makes it do more damage. And level 3 causes debris to blast out all over the arena."
A piece of the ground in the middle flew up, before exploding, sending debris flying everywhere, hitting Kano and doing a bit of damage.
"Now onto the more interesting move, Homing Meteor!" Ken shouted. "When you use this move, the ground you sent flying up with home explodes towards the opponent and explodes on contact with them. Although it does less damage and the explosion has less range than Detonate."
Back on screen, the ground was sent flying up into the air, before its left side exploded, sending it flying towards Kano and slamming into her.
"Level 2 homing meteor is faster and stronger than the first, and the Level 3 will allow the meteor the home in twice!" Ken explained.
In game, the ground exploded up off-screen, before crashing down towards Kano at high speed, but Kano dashed in seemingly avoiding it, but then the meteor exploded again, changing course and slamming into Kano anyways.
"Pretty cool huh! Minefield is a super important part of Shuku's kit. But you need to be careful, he's not immune to his own explosions." Ken warned.
Back on screen, Shuku made the ground under him explode, knocking himself into the air, and doing damage to him.
"Play smart, and keep your enemies away, as Shuku," Amai said.
Ochaco Uraraka
"And now the time has come to talk about our dearest mother!" Kiba said. "Uravity!"
"This is gonna take a while," Ken said.
The screen now showed Ochaco facing off against Fu. Dressed in her hero outfit. And there was another meter above her Midori Meter.
"Uravity is a character that specializes in grabs and aerial combat!" Amai said. "Speaking of her grab, she has two! A light grab and a heavy grab! Literally! One makes you light, and one makes you heavy!"
Back in game, Ochaco rushed towards Fu, and grabbed them, before throwing them to the opposite side, making them float in the air.
Then it reset, showing Ochaco grabbing Fu and slamming him down, leaving them pressed on the ground, unable to move due to the increased gravity.
"As you can see, doing the heavy grab will leave the enemy stunned. While doing a light grab will put them in a special weightless state. In this state, the opponent won't be able to move regularly. And will only be able to rely on their air movement options." Amai explained. "For some characters, this is more difficult to deal with than others."
Back in game, it showed Izuku, mostly helpless in the air. Then it switched to Kano, who flew around seemingly unaffected by the status.
"When your opponent is weightless, they also take increased damage. So if you can get away with it. You'll probably want to choose the light grab over the heavy." Kiba explained. "The status will go away after the opponent is hit by a move or after 5 seconds have passed. But you can apply status to more than just your enemy."
Ochaco then touched her arm quickly, making her body glow light pink. Then she rushed at the opponent with increased speed and started combining them, her combo being different than before. Longer and doing more damage, as well as lifting both of them up into the air.
When the combo ended, the opponent fell back to the ground, but Ochaco stayed in the air.
The screen reset and Ochaco touched her arm again, now making her glow dark pink.
She rushed towards the opponent, now much slower, her steps causing the ground to break a bit under her weight.
Fu sent out a tendril to try and grab her, but it didn't work, and Ochaco continued on towards him.
When Ochaco reached him, she cocked back her arm for a heavy attack, and Fu hit her with a light, but Ochaco now had super armor, and her attack slammed into Fu's face.
"By removing her own gravity, Ochaco can make herself faster and make her combos do more damage, but she'll take more damage, and float in the air after every action you do," Amai explained. "But if you increase her gravity, Ochaco becomes slower and does less damage, but she gains super armor on a lot of her attacks, and becomes immune to most grabs and command grabs. And her knockback is reduced. You can change between weightless, extra weight, or normal weight, at any time!"
"Now let's move on to her next move, Black Whip!" Kiba continued. "Using this attack will throw out Black Whip, in any direction you choose. If the attack hits the opponent, it'll pull them towards you, but if it touches anything else, it'll pull you towards that part of the screen."
Back in game, Ochaco unleashed her Black Whip, snatching up Fu and bringing him towards her, before unleashing a combo on him.
The screen reset, and Ochaco was floating in the air, before using Black Whip on the ground, and returning to the floor.
"Us this to either get close to your opponents or get yourself out of a tricky situation!" Kiba said.
"Next let's talk about a super move. Super Flash." Amai said.
Back in game, Ochaco was getting attacked by Fu, and she was stuck blocking his attacks, until suddenly her body exploded with light, taking a few bars of meter, a bit of her H.P., but pushing Fu back, and blinding him, stunning her foe and allowing her to easily come in and attack.
"This attack costs a good chunk of meter and even takes a bit of your health, but it'll push back and stun all nearby opponents," Ken explained. "Now let's talk about that little meter above her Midori Meter. Her Fa Jin meter. This meter gets filled up as you move around, and do attacks. And when you press this input, you activate Fa Jin mode. Increasing the power of all your attacks."
"HA!" Ochaco activated Fa Jin, making her arms and legs glow red. Then she rushed toward Fu and unleashed a powerful combo onto him. Doing jaw-dropping damage.
"There's so much we put into this character, but we're going to leave the rest for YOU to discover!" Kiba said. "Unleash the power of the cosmos itself with Uravity!"
SORI
"Those last two characters were pretty complicated, so let's move on to a pretty simple character," Ken said. "Honestly, there's not much to say about Sori, she's a rush-down character who moves fast and does good damage. Just watch."
Now Sori was on the field, and immediately rushed at Fu at high speed, before unleashing a powerful combo on him. And when that ended and Fu went up to try and block, she grabbed him with her mouth and threw him into the center of the stage.
Fu got back up and tried to block again, but Sori rushed in, hitting him with a low that tripped him, up, and led into yet another combo.
"As you can see, Sori is a simple but efficient character, who specializes in blinding speed!" Kiba said. "Make use of her power, and end battles in a flash!"
SAI BURA
"Now for the last character we'll be talking about today, former pro hero. Sai Bura!" Kiba announced.
In game, now Sai was facing off against Fu, dressed in her usual black suit and red tie and with a sword in hand. Also, next to her health bar, is a symbol of a sword.
"Sai is another zoner, and while she's at her strongest with the opponent far away, she can also handle herself pretty well at mid-range," Amai explained.
Fu tried to approach Sai, but Sai opened a portal in front of her and shot out a sword, sending Fu right back before opening a portal above him and hitting him with another sword. And continuing to combo him with portals and swords from the other side of the screen.
"Now you're probably wondering what that sword symbol next to her health bar is." Kiba pointed out. "Well, this shows you what kind of sword Sori is using for projectile attacks. That's right. Many of Sai's attacks can be changed up with just the press of a button. Overall, there are five sword types. You've already seen the basic sword attacks. So let's switch to short swords."
The icon switched showing a shorter sword.
Sai then launched the same attacks she did before, but now she was shooting short swords. Her attacks are faster but do less damage.
"As you can see, short swords come out faster, and do less damage than the regular swords. Pretty simple." Amai said. "Next is almost as simple, the blunt sword. These things are almost more like metal clubs than swords. They may be slower, but they do a bit more damage, and have increased block and hit stun. Allowing you to keep up the pressure.
Sai switched to the blunt sword and launched the combo again, Fu blocked the attacks, but due to the increased block stun, Sai was able to rush in and perform a grab, throwing Fu into the air and then hitting him with multiple swords before he landed back on the ground.
"Next up, is the explosive swords!" Ken said. "These don't do as much damage, but the explosions they make do splash damage."
Back in game, Sai used a special move, making swords rain down across the stage, and the swords exploded upon hitting the ground, one of the explosions hitting Fu and doing damage.
"And lastly, we have the poison sword," Kiba said. "These swords do little damage, at least at first, but they have a special effect. They afflict the poison status effect on the opponent, even if they block!"
Sai unleashed another attack on Fu, and Fu blocked. But this time, a small portion of Fu's health started ticking down slowly.
"The poison status will slowly take away a small amount of health. And the more you hit them, the more health it will take." Amai explained. "But! You have to be careful with how you use it. The more you poison your opponent, the more they build up a resistance to poison. And the poison will do less and less damage until they become completely immune to it. So make sure to use it at the right time."
"Next, let's talk about a special move. Gluttony." Ken snickered.
Suddenly, in game, Sai pulled out a table filled with food from nowhere and started devouring the food. Her Midori Meter increased as she ate.
"That's right, using this move, you can charge your Midori Meter super quickly! However, you won't be able to move, unless you cancel it. You can still use some attacks though." Amai explained.
Back in game, Sai was still eating, and Fu tried approaching her, but Sai opened more portals, and launched swords at Fu, keeping him back while she continued eating.
"Now what are you going to do with all that meter? Well, that's where her Ultimate comes in! Unlimted Blade Works!" Kiba shouted.
In game, Sai launched a barrage of rocket swords at Fu, which landed and sent Fu flying back into a portal.
The stage changed, now being a field filled with swords, and as Fu was dropped off on the right side of the stage, Sai came in through a portal landing on the opposite side.
"Inside of Unlimted Blade Works, Sai's attacks completely change! She's stronger! Faster! And just better all around!" Amai said.
Sai unleashed another combo on Fu from the other side of the screen, swords flying at him from all over, her combo lasting much longer and doing much more damage.
"And this is just the scratching the surface of what she can do," Ken said. "But if you want to see more, you're gonna have to play her yourself!...Or watch it online after the D.L.C. comes out."
"Draw your blade, and unleash the power of Sai Bura!" Amai said.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
The camera switched back to the three kids.
"Alright, and that's it for now!" Amai said. "Well, that's it for the characters. We still have one more super exciting announcement."
"The Midoriya Foundation will be holding an official Foundation Fued Tournament!" Kiba announced. "Unfortunately, we won't be able to attend in person, but we will be attending digitally, and there will be ENORMOUS cash prizes! Details about the Tournament can be found on the official Omni Games Website! We expect a huge turnout! Don't disappoint me."
"Until then, see ya later." Ken signed off, ending the stream.
Please review and have a nice day.
