Psy-Kick:Perfect chapter!
Besto Brother is here, awesome :D
So the JJK story happened here? Well not exactly the same but you know what I mean, right?
Ant: The JJK story KINDA happens (I'm still working it out) and results in Todo being the only one left.
3headed-dragon: Okay so many things I loved about this chapter. First I love that Todo is here and became Izuku's trainer and sworn brother, not only that but Todo actually taught Izuku how to fight and how to use a weapon. I understand that in canon Allmight was focused on making sure that Izuku's body was able to hold OFA, but you can't honestly say that combat training isn't also a form of exercise. If we're all being honest Izuku was trying to be Allmight and Allmight was trying to turn Izuku into him. I mean come on, I know this was Allmight's first time being a teacher but how many times can you watch your student hurt themselves before you say "Okay, maybe it's time to try something else."
As far as the pairing goes, you've said that it's already decided and that you don't do harems, which is of course fine. I hope the pairing is with Kyoka seeing as there really aren't too many good stories involving her as the main girl. Not to mention you did have Izuku learn to play a guitar so they can bond over music, she's also heard Izuku say he doesn't really care about large breasts which she probably believes all boys care about.
I don't know if you plan on pairing Izuku with Kyoka or Ochako, but I would like to point out that canon wise Ochako was willing to put aside her feelings for Izuku in order to focus on being a hero. Kyoka on the other hand I feel like wouldn't turn down a guy that showed genuine interest in her.
Anyway keep up the great work.
Ant: Ian gon say to much because the way I have it planned works best but I will say that, much like real relationship, people change and how people feel change.
Guest: :Pairing still up in the air? I say Izuocha. Despite what others may say about how vanilla it is, but Ochako was able to turn 'Deku' from a personal slur into something positive for Izuku, and it definitely showed at latest release in the manga.
Ant: I fs hear ya logic but you're gonna have tah wait and see where I take the pairings twin
PolarisXYZ:Is Izuku's hair white or green, cause you keep saying greenette, but in the first chapter he had white eyelashes, which would imply his hair is also white
Ant: I'm ngl... I forgot about his hair WORD IS BONDDDD but aye js know that when I say "greenette" what I really mean is green hair with white tips. Fun fact the more he uses six eyes the more white his hair gets and the more he uses his ten shadows the darker his hair gets.
With allat said I jus wanna let y'all know that I Luh the reviews like I will deadass say "Ian writin" then get a really well written review and all of ah sudden it's 2:40am and I got track practice tmrw (made states btw) but I'm up writing MHA FanFiction. Luv y'all tho word is bond.
y'all better enjoy this shit wrda my mother cuz if not then I real life might have to start swinging on Mfs now say it w me
WORD IS BOOONNDDDD
"Release!" Once the brunette touched her fingertips together, Izuku felt gravity return to his muscled body, sending him to the ground. Before he could collide with the concrete below, Izuku stuck his hand out under him, balancing his body weight on his fingertips before gently setting himself down with practiced grace.
Before the other examinees could blink, Izuku made a mad dash at the brunette, throwing the large piece of debris off of her form before running his hands along her waist, legs, and ankles.
"Although the debris rendered her immobile, judging by the range of mobility in her legs and ankles she hasn't dislocated or broken anything. Although, there is considerable swelling in her ankle and the area surrounding her superior-inferior iliac spine. It could be nothing but there is the chance that a piece of muscle surrounding the bone pulled a piece of it off during the initial collision so it'd be best if someone more qualified checked to make sure." The teen brushed away strands of green white and black from his face before taking hold of the brunette's right leg.
"I need you to tell me if it hurts when I move this leg ok?"
"O-Ok" With a nod to punctuate her words, Izuku pushed the brunette's knee towards her chest, shooting her a soft, concerned, look so as to nonverbally ask if she was experiencing any pain.
With a shake of her head, Izuku sighed in relief before standing, extending his hand toward the girl he'd just saved.
"Your ankle is sprained, it's best you avoid walking on it for a while." The round-faced girl looked at his hand for a bit, a contemplating look on her face, before accepting his hand.
Izuku cast a short glance at the girl's palm, noticing the cat-like pads on her fingertips that felt surprisingly soft against his calloused palms.
"More likely than not these are the pads that activate and deactivate her quirk. If I had to guess I'd say that she needs to make contact with all five on one or both hands to activate her quirk and touch all ten together to remove its effects. I wonder if there's a weight limit and if so, could it be improved upon? Do the objects she's touched retain their mass? Or do they lose it in tandem with their mass?" Izuku's brain rambled on as he scooped the brunette onto his back and made his way to the nurse's office they'd been instructed to go to via pamphlet.
"I a-appreciate your help" Izuku cast a short glance toward the brunette on his back, taking notice of her flushed face and nervous gaze.
Then it hit him.
He was carrying a girl. After grabbing her legs. And after grabbing her waist.
There was no way he was living this down.
"N-No p-problem!" His posture suddenly stiffened causing his white-tipped hair to struggle against its tie.
For the rest of the walk, the two stayed in awkward silence, trading short glances at each other when they thought the other wasn't looking.
"Are you alright young lady?" The school nurse, known professionally as Recovery Girl, walked over toward a bed, motioning the greenette to set his fellow examinee down so she could receive treatment.
Following her nonverbal instructions, Izuku gingerly set the brunette on the bed, taking extra care to not move her ankle too much.
"I-I looked h-her over before I brought h-her and she looked f-fine" Recovery girl gave the boy a nod before turning toward the brunette and checking for any injuries the boy might have missed.
"Thank you for your help today Sonny, I hope to see you enrolled here real soon!"The elderly hero gave the boy a toothy grin alongside a kiss and a few gummies.
"You're always welcome" His smile was warm, the boy genuinely happy to have helped.
With a wave of his hand, Izuku turned on his heel and began to walk toward the exit.
Until a voice called out to him.
"Wait!" The boy immediately stopped dead in his tracks yet refused to turn around.
Mainly because he was berating himself in his mind
"Why did she tell me to stop? Is she upset that I touched her? But I was only making sure she wasn't hurt after saving me. Wait, did I ever thank her for saving me? Is that why she's upset? She's right I totally should have thanked her, what was I thinking? Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" With every passing thought, Izuku began to tremble until he was practically vibrating where he stood.
That was until Ochako spoke, breaking his negative train of thought.
"I-I'm not mad at you! I just wanted to say thank you for saving me! I...I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't turned to destroy that robot." Her fingers wrapped around the sheets of her bed, frustration present on her face.
"I got sloppy n messed up, if he wasn't there to cover me then I would've ended up dead for sure." Her grip on the bed sheets tightened until her knuckles turned white, her teeth grinding together slightly.
"I have ta get stronger. How am I sposed to save anyone when I can't even beat a robot?" It was now the brunette's turn to engage in self-depreciation as she mentally chided herself for her weakness.
Izuku finally turned to face the girl he'd saved and immediately noticed the look of self-hatred that painted her features.
It was the same look he'd worn for so long.
Taking a few steps, the white-tipped boy kneeled at the side of the brunette's hospital bed and cupped the girl's chin, forcing her to look him in his sky-blue eyes.
"You saved me just as much as I saved you so don't let anyone, even yourself, take that from you." The brunette could only dumbly nod as her face flushed tomato red.
A warm smile washed over the greenettes face as he stood and turned to walk away once more.
Completely ignoring the fact that he just touched a girl's face...
His therapist was going to have a field day with him.
"Who knew my favorite patient was so smooth?"
"Bite me!"
Izuku was in a trance for the week before his test results. Despite his mother, brother, and therapist reassuring him his performance was more than enough to get into the prestigious high school the boy still had little self-confidence in himself.
"What if I miscounted the number of points I got? Despite the comprehensive guide on how they scored, they never gave us a concrete number on how many points we needed to pass the exam. There were numerous examinees who scored points higher than myself and with such a low acceptance rate there's no real guarantee that I get in, not to mention the various testing zones. Is there a maximum number of students allowed for acceptance regardless of points acquired?"
"Midoriya, stop mumbling" The annoyed voice snapped him out of his musings as a blush crept upon his face.
Normally, a chorus of giggles would follow alongside a potentially vicious beating from his former childhood friend, but neither followed. Instead, his classmates just stared at him while muttering amongst themselves.
"He took the exam?"
"I heard from one of my friends who took it that he was there, said he has a brother too"
"A brother? He never said anything about him before"
"Did he pass the test with only a visionary quirk?"
"No clue, but I heard there was a combat portion so it's unlikely"
Meanwhile, Izuku put his head down, tapping his foot and humming alongside a song in an attempt to calm himself down.
"Deku"
"Why me?"
Izuku ignored the boy, instead, opting to hum his song a little louder in hopes of turning the boy away while drowning out the voices of his classmates.
It didn't work.
"Don't. Ignore. Me." Narrowing his eyes, Katsuki raised his left arm to the sky, ready to bring it down on the boy whom he'd thought of as nothing but a pebble for his entire life.
Until a strong force yanked his supporting left leg out from him, sending him crashing into the ground. Katsuki turned his head toward his left leg in hopes of identifying the perpetrator but found only faint, shadow-like, whisps. The ash blonde growled before quickly shooting to his feet and letting off a few explosions to hush his giggling classmates.
Katsuki shot his hand out, ready to grab his blue-eyed classmate by his white-tipped hair until his teacher stopped him.
"Bakugou, give it a rest. The school year is damn near over and it'd be better for all of us if I didn't have to do any more paperwork than I need to" The blonde began to shake in anger but followed his instructor's advice, retracting his hand.
He'd just have to kill Izuku IF the nerd got into UA.
IF.
"You stood up to him physically?" Dr. McKnight stared at his patient with a baffled expression, unable to believe the mild-mannered Izuku he'd come to know had stood up to the bully that'd made his life hell for the longest time.
"Y-Yeah...it was kinda f-freeing, to be honest," Izuku began to blush as he rubbed the fur of one half of his Divine Dogs.
Dr. McKnight gave his patient a warm smile as he scratched the other half of the twin dogs behind its snow-white ears.
"I'd bet. Now technically, as you're therapist, I'm supposed to dissuade you from any sort of physical altercation," He let the sentence hang in the air for a while as he continued to scratch the massive dog beside him.
Izuku, sensing there was more to the thought, prodded the dark-skinned man.
"But?"
"...Buuuttt, as Anthony, I say sock him in the mouth next time he tries to punk you"
The two exchanged wide grins.
"I-Izu! It's finally here, your letter!" The exceptionally tall woman clambered up the stairs and into her youngest son's room.
"Hey, Mom" Two voices spoke out lazily, engrossed in their current activity.
Her eldest and youngest son were huddled in front of a TV, watching an attractive idol sing her heart out on stage.
"I just don't see the appeal in Idol girls. Sorry bro" Izuku turned away from the pitch-black dog he'd been rubbing to scratch the bird perched on his swivel chair behind the ears.
Todo remained focused on scratching the snow-white dog in his lap as he gave his response.
"It's because you care too much about the music and too little about the people behind the music" Aoi argued.
The debate continued like this back and forth for a while until Inko finally decided to bring their attention to more pressing matters.
"IZU. LETTER. UA." The two immediately forgot about their conversation and clambered toward their mother in hopes of seeing the letter.
Once Izuku had gotten the letter from his mother, he quickly shooed her and his elder brother out of the room to listen to it alone.
"Well alone with Divine Dogs and Nue but I digress"
Tearing open the envelope, a look of perplexion fell upon the boy's features as he stared at the disk that fell onto his desk as opposed to the physical letter he expected.
"I mean it is the top hero program in the country; I'd be surprised if they didn't do things differently," The greenette thought with a chuckle before poking the disk.
"I AM HERE, AS A PROJECTION!" The loud bellowing voice of All Might all but yelled at. Izuku stared in amazement at the holo-disk before his face faltered slightly once he'd seen the blonde hero. After what had happened on the rooftop Izuku had lost a significant amount of respect for the number one hero.
Looking around his room, there was little to no All Might merch in his room, instead being replaced with merchandise from a variety of heroes such as Hawks, Miruko, and, most importantly, Death Arms. There were also numerous pictures of him with his family, his gaze softening at the picture they'd taken right after adopting Aoi Todo, now Midoriya, a few months ago.
"I'll keep this brief Young Midoriya, you passed the exam with 74 villain points and 240 rescue points all but ensuring your enrollment into the hero course." Izuku couldn't believe his ears. He'd been accepted into his dream school. He'd be able to pursue his dream career.
"However," Oh
"Upon reviewing your transcript, we were notified of your current therapeutical situation and as such reached out to your therapist. Although you've made strides in your self-confidence, Dr. McKnight recommended we enroll you under the condition that you keep up with your current sessions for the duration of your schooling at UA. Should you accept these conditions, we at UA would be happy to welcome you to our school. Welcome to YOUR Hero Academia! "
His eavesdropping family went ballistic that their son/younger brother was accepted.
His first day had come faster than expected.
After an emotional sendoff by his mother and older brother, Izuku was scanning the halls of UA, desperately searching for his assigned classroom.
"1-A, 1-A, 1-A...Bingo!" He stopped in front of a towering door that red '1-A' in large print.
"Must be for people with size-related mutations" The boy mumbled to himself before walking inside.
As soon as the greenette walked through the door all conversation in the room ceased as all eyes shifted to him.
"It's you!" Izuku recognized the voice almost instantly and turned toward the brunette he'd saved during the entrance exam.
"I-It's me" Sky-blue eyes scanned the room, taking note of his future classmates before something caught his eye.
Walking past the brunette and the boy who chastised him for speaking during the presentation, Izuku made his way toward a head of purple hair and stopped in front of her, staring her down.
And staring.
And staring.
"Uhhh...can I help you dude?" The violet-haired girl wore a face filled with confusion and slight annoyance as she waited for the boy to speak.
"S-Sorry it's just...y-your phone case has a picture of a H-Harrison Gordon album, they're one of m-my favorite bands." A blush crept up on the taller boy's face as he stared at the ground.
"O-Oh, that's pretty cool. What's your favorite song?" The lavender-haired girl found herself sporting a blush as well as her eyes drifted to the phone case in question, the clear case withholding a picture of the band's album 'The Yuppies are Winning'
"Excedrin by a mile! I...I used to listen to it when I was feeling really bummed. That whole album felt like a safe space for me" The lavender-haired girl's eyes widened the more the boy spoke, completely baffled that someone not only listened to the same music she did,
But for the same reasons she did.
Before she could open her mouth to answer, a gruff voice interjected.
"Cut the idle chitchat, if you're here to make friends then leave." 1-A's eyes turned toward their teacher as they shuffled to their assigned seating.
"Eight seconds. I expect two seconds off this time by tomorrow or else. Now put these on and get outside."
After changing into their PE uniforms, 1-A was standing before their homeroom teacher, awaiting instruction.
"Today we'll be doing quirk apprehension tests to establish a benchmark for each of you; we'll use these to gauge how much you progress throughout the year," Aizawa explained, watching as a look of confusion overtook his students.
Ochako was the first to speak up, nervousness ever present in her round eyes.
"B-But wouldn't we miss orientation?" A chorus of agreement came from the crowd of students, stripping away some of the previous apprehension that plagued the girl's expression.
"UA allows their teachers to instruct students however they see fit, I see no need for pointless ceremonies such as orientation so we'll be doing these tests instead." The insomniac pointed to Katsuki, instructing him to stand in the taped circle.
"You had the highest number of villain points in the entrance exams so you'll start us off. How far were you able to throw a softball in middle school?"
"About 70 meters give or take" Aizawa then tossed the boy a modified softball before pulling out a tracker.
"Try again, using your quirk this time" A sadistic grin overtook the blonde's face as he reared his arm back and launched the softball with a mighty explosion.
"DIE!"
"Die?" Izuku thought to himself.
Aizawa held up the tracking device, allowing the students to read the score for themselves.
705.2 meters.
A chorus of gasps erupted from the students as they praised the blonde's score.
"Ever since the appearance of quirks, the Japanese government is still trying their hardest to keep the 'All men are created equally' narrative while in reality, that's no longer the case. Today, you'll use your abilities to push beyond what you scored in middle school, setting new limits only to surpass those limits later"
Excitement washed over 1-A, every one of them eager to test the might of their quirk.
"This is what I'm talkin' about! Gettin' to use our quirks as much as we want!"
Wrong move.
Aizawa's eyes flashed red as his scarf and hair began to float menacingly.
"Let's make this fun then, whoever comes in last place will be expelled." Almost instantly the looks of excitement fell from the class as fear began to set in once more.
Another brave student spoke up, one with pink skin, eager to remove the consequences for whoever placed last.
"T-That's not fair, someone is bound to come in last! They shouldn't be expelled because of that!" As soon as the words left her mouth, Aizawa's glare intensified as he stared the teen down.
"Fair? Are natural disasters fair? Home invasions? Assault? Our job as heroes is to shoulder the unfairness in the world so as to protect civilians. If you aren't ready for that then you can walk away right now." The short speech shut down any hopes of argument in his students while also having a secondary effect,
Of lighting a fire in each and every one of them.
50-Meter Dash
Izuku took a sprinters stance, staring straight down at the dirt below him and ignoring Katsuki.
"Set"
The greenette shot his head up and raised his knees, leaning his shoulders above his fingertips.
"GO!"
He immediately took off, pouring cursed energy into his legs to push him off the ground harder than normal resulting in him crossing the finish line before his ash-blonde classmate.
"4.10 seconds & 4.13 seconds"
Grip Strength
Clasping his hands together, Izuku made a shadow puppet resembling a wolf before calling out to his companions.
"Divine Dogs!" The twin dogs appeared before clamping their jaws around the strength machine, causing it to creak.
"356.0kg!"
Standing Long Jump
"Nue!" The greenette called to his companion. The bird materialized from the shadows and carried her summoner over the pit.
Softball Throw
Ochako stepped into the circle and placed all five of her fingertips on it, activating her quirk. With a light toss, the ball made its way up above the spectators, then the school, then the country before being marked as infinity.
1-A lost their minds as the brunette had just scored something infeasible, something unbeatable.
"Izuku Midoriya" Aizawa called and the boy made his way to the circle, lightly clutching the spare softball he'd been given.
"Oof, I feel bad for Midoriya man"
"Me too. I couldn't imagine having to throw right after the girl who got infinity"
"Me neither"
Ignoring his classmates, Izuku tossed the ball up as high as he could before quickly bringing his hands together in the shape of a bird, summoning Nue who snagged the ball mid-air and carried it above the class.
And above the school.
And above the country.
"Infinity"
Izuku scanned the list for his name, not having to really search at all considering his name was second following Momo Yaoyorozu.
"At first I was going to reveal this as a logical ruse and not expel any of you, however after viewing your priorities, Minoru Mineta, I can all but guarantee you'll amount to nothing and as such you will be expelled." The grape-haired boy looked crestfallen.
Izuku nervously stepped forward, raising his hand to ask for permission to speak which he was granted.
"I-I may not know M-Mineta personally b-but his expression alone tells me that he genuinely wanted to b-become a hero, not to get with women, but to save people. T-There's so many higher paying, less dangerous jobs that could get him a-all the w-women he wanted yet he chose to risk his life trying to b-become a hero." By the end of his speech, all of 1-A, including Aizawa, had been staring at him, mouths agape.
"I...I'll give him one chance, Midoriya. If he screws up in any large way not only will he be expelled, but you will be as well."
By the end of the school day, Izuku was exhausted. From the quirk apprehension test to defending his classmate, the first day had been nothing like he'd thought it'd be. All he wanted to do was lie down next to his Divine Dogs and talk about dumb stuff with his big brother which required him to speak to no one and head straight home which he fully intended to do.
Until he saw her.
"Harrison Gordon girl?"
The lavender-haired girl, who had extremely good hearing as Izuku had deduced, turned toward him and blushed before stomping over to him and lightly poking him with her jacks.
"I like other bands too y'know, and my name's Kyouka Jirou, not Harrison Gordon Girl" Izuku gave the shorter girl a dumb nod as the two stared at each other.
And stared.
And stared.
Eventually, Kyouka broke the silence, stabbing a finger into his chest before asking a question.
"And your name is?"
"O-Oh, I'm I-Izuku M-Midoriya. Nice to m-meet you!" By now the greenette's ice-white tips were tinted red as he tried to keep his eyes on the girl's face.
"Likewise Midoriya. See you tomorrow" With that, Kyouka turned on her heel and began her walk to the train station,
Ignorant to the frustrated look pointed toward her by her brunette classmate.
