"Why'd you invite me?"
The hulking Pro Her turned his electric blue eyes to the greenette beside him, his seemingly perpetual grin as wide as ever.
"I've been meaning to speak to you, Young Midoriya! Taking you alongside me on this trip seemed like a good chance to talk."
The aforementioned aspiring Hero offered the man a nod in response before returning his attention to his phone, headphones in ear.
Seeing the teen disengage from conversation, All Might turned his focus to the passing ocean from his seat in the plane, his larger-than-life smile faltering slightly.
"Form a line for autographs please!"
The Number One Hero managed to choke out his request as a massive crowd of his fans began to surround him.
Exhaling, Izuku allowed himself to take in the scenery of the island, his Six Eyes catching sight of the massive ocean past the white gate alongside chunks of forest and the wildlife contained within the small biome.
"It's like a mix of high-tech infrastructure and naturally occurring flora and fauna."
Inhaling, the teen took in a breath of fresh air, allowing the oceanic scent to flood his nostrils, replacing the stale air from the airplane to be replaced.
Before long the crowd dispersed, leaving the Number One Hero smothered in a myriad of lipstick marks.
Turning to his prospective successor, All Might wiped the aforementioned stains from his face with his hulking arms before clearing his throat.
"I'm afraid at this point we're in terrible danger of being late."
The sentence snapped the Jujutsushi from his musings, causing him to turn to face his teacher, head slightly tilted.
"Late for what?"
"I wanted to drop in on a dear old friend of mine who I haven't seen in quite a while. Would you like to join me?"
A light smile weaseled its way on the teen's face as he offered the man a nod, eagerness twinkling in the boy's sky-blue eyes.
"Lead the way."
Before the Pro Hero could act on those instructions, however, the distinct sound of a pogo stick flooded their ears, forcing them to turn to its source.
"There you are, uncle!"
The blue-eyed duo settled their eyes on a girl seemingly older than Izuku heading their way via the aforementioned pogo stick.
The closer the teen got, the better look Izuku got of her, his Six Eyes taking notice of her bright blonde hair and pale blue eyes, the latter being framed by a pair of oval-rimmed glasses resting on her nose.
Jumping from her modem of transportation, the blonde fell into the waiting embrace of the Number One Hero, the aforementioned man swinging her around as though he was an amusement park ride.
"Welcome, Uncle Might!"
Stopping his spinning, All Might released a hearty chuckle before raising the blonde to the sky.
"It's so good to see you, Melissa!"
The glasses-wearing teen nodded her head, lightly giggling as her self-proclaimed Uncle Might lightly tossed her into the air before setting her down.
"I'm glad to see you're looking well, though I suppose you always are."
The two delved into a conversation, catching up with one another as Izuku's Six Eyes scanned the blonde before him.
"Is this All Might's old friend? I doubt it, she looks a year or two older than me so I find it unlikely this was the old friend he was referring to."
Nodding his head as though to approve of his own reasoning, Izuku turned his attention away from the two, allowing them a small bit of privacy.
Before long, the teen's attention was snagged by the duo as the man who invited him to the island spoke his name.
"Oh, right, Young Midoriya. Allow me to introduce you to my friend Dave's daughter."
The hulking man then motioned to the blonde beside him, the aforementioned teen flashing the Jujutsushi a light smile.
"It's really nice to meet you. I'm Melissa Shield."
The teen then extended her hand silently instructing Izuku to do the same, an instruction he followed.
"It's nice to meet you as well. I'm Izuku Midoriya, a 1st year at UA High and 1st-Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer."
Upon hearing the introduction, Melissa adopted an expression of confusion as her smile dropped, her eyes widening as a means to reflect her new curiosity.
"You're in the Hero Course? So that's how you know Uncle Might. Also, what's a Jujutsu Sorcerer?"
"It's a profession, one in which Sorcerers like me protect the population from threats outside the scope of a typical Hero."
Nodding her head, the blonde began to circle the Jujutsushi, running her hands over his costume and taking note of a variety of the outfit's attributes.
"So what kind of quirk do you have?"
Raising his hands, the Sorcerer flushed, the close proximity from the opposite sex slightly unnerving him.
"Cursed Energy Manipulation. It lets me do a variety of things ranging from summoning familiars to increasing my strength."
Nodding once more, the blonde moved to the back of the aspiring Pro, grabbing the green bunny ears affixed to his hood and raising them.
"The costumes really cool, did you take inspiration from Miruko?"
The flush on the teen's face evaporated as his once frantic expression was replaced by a light smile.
"Yes actually. When I was interning with her, she added them on before I left so people would recognize me as her protege."
The blonde teen mimicked the teen's smile before moving her focus to the support gear, or lack thereof, attached to the costume.
"You don't use any support gear?"
Nodding his head, the Jujutsushi opened his costume case, revealing a leather pistol holster.
"I actually do use a commissioned support item however it was destroyed during my fight with The Hero Killer and I haven't had the opportunity to have a new one made."
Nodding her head, Melissa then turned her attention to the plethora of scars marring the teen's face, a slight frown replacing the smile her face once held.
Raising her hand, the blonde ran her fingers across the Jujutsushi's lengthy burn scar, her frown deepening upon feeling the rough skin as her mind could only wonder what villain could harm the seemingly sweet teen in such a manner.
"You need to be more careful."
The advice only barely registered within the boy as his face was reheated, nervousness flooding him as his face registered the blonde's touch.
"AHEM! Melissa? Shall we?"
The sudden interruption of the hulking Pro Hero caught the blonde teen off guard, nearly causing her to jump from her skin.
"Oh! Sorry, I got distracted."
Jogging lightly to her previously discarded modified pogo stick, the blonde inventor tapped the device, causing it to lengthen and thin before condensing into a small device that she pocketed.
Turning away from the two, she resumed her run, motioning the Pro Hero and his student to follow.
"If we hurry, we can surprise Papa in his lab! This way!"
With a shared nod, the two began to mimic the girl's stride, following her to their destination.
"We infiltrated the expo without a problem. So? When do the goods arrive?"
"...3:00 p.m. You'll find them at Gate 66."
"Then we'll be waiting."
"Since you completed your first stage of research, I invited someone here to celebrate with us."
The brunette standing before his daughter adopted a look of confusion, a spark of excitement brimming behind his teal eyes.
"And who might that be?"
Her smile widened as Melissa turned her head to the door, her father's gaze following.
"A person you dearly love."
"YES, I AM HERE! SHAKING WITH EMOTION FROM OUR HEARTFELT REUNION!"
The senior inventor's jaw dropped as his eyes ran along the Number One Heroes hulking form, as though he couldn't believe the man before him was the real deal.
"Toshi... All Might?"
As soon as the question left the man's lips the massive Pro Hero ran across the room, wrapping his old friend in an embrace.
"I came all this way just to see you Dave old buddy!"
Setting the man down, All Might punctuated his sentence with a hearty chuckle as Melissa peeked out from behind the massive man's shoulders.
"We, Papa, are you totally surprised?"
The shock plaguing the man's face washed away as it was overtaken by a smile, that excitement once a spark behind his teal eyes now fully raging.
"Yeah. Completely astounded."
Raising to his feet, All Might helped his friend up before patting himself off.
"We both have Melissa to thank for that. Man, how long has it been?"
The senior inventor lightly bumped his fist on the Number One Heroes massive bicep, his smile turning into a full-out grin.
"Oh, now, come on. Don't make me say it. I already feel old enough, ya jerk."
The comment caused the two men to explode into a fit of laughter, David's cackle almost as boisterous as the Pro Hero's beside him.
Before long, their laughs died down as the Number One Hero rested a hand on his friend's shoulder, his expression slightly serious.
"Glad to see you again, my friend."
The brunette turned his gaze upward to better meet his friend's gaze as his grin fell into a sincere smile.
"Agreed. I've missed you, too."
Turning his head backward, All Might motioned to the Jujutsushi behind him, his grin seemingly widening at the idea of introducing his prospective successor to his close friend.
"Young Midoriya, let me introduce you to someone incredible, David Shield."
"I know him! Professor David Shield! A top scientist in the research world who received a Nobel Quirk Prize! He was your partner back when you lived in America. And he's a genius when it comes to costumes, his most notable works being your Young Age, Bronze Age, Silver Age, and current Golden Age."
The sudden dump of information took the group back slightly before their previously surprised expressions morphed into smiles.
"It seems I don't have to introduce myself."
The teen slightly recoiled before bowing slightly, his cheeks tinted pink.
"I-I'm sorry!"
Chuckling slightly, David waved his hand, dismissing the apology.
"No, don't apologize."
The Jujutsushi rose, straightening his back as silence settled upon the room.
Before that silence could be broken, however, a light coughing fit courtesy of All Might passed through the ears of all present, shifting their attention to him.
David was the first to react, his smile fading as his brow furrowed.
"Listen, it's been a long time. Can the two of you give All Might and me a little time to catch up?"
By the end of his request, the man wore a light smile, one that seemed more of an attempt to put the two teens at ease rather than one of genuine mirth, Izuku noticed.
Filing the thought away for later introspection, the Sorcerer nodded his head, the free strands of his tri-colored locks bouncing as he did so.
"Yeah. Of course."
Retaining his flat smile, the brunette turned toward his daughter, raising his right hand to his hip as he did so.
"Melissa. Why don't you take our new friend on a tour around the expo?"
The blonde teen nodded, her smile serving as a stark contrast to her father's as genuine excitement seemed to radiate from her very pores.
"Sure thing, Papa. Sounds like fun!"
Turning his bright blue eyes to the girl behind him, Izuku arched an eyebrow as his head tilted slightly, confusion evident on his features.
"You aren't busy?"
The blonde offered a brighter smile emphasized by her closed eyes as she shook her head.
"No, I'm honored to show off our hard work to a future Hero. Right this way."
Turning her torso away from the Sorcerer, Melissa began to guide him out of the room, the eagerness expressed by her smile matching the excitement bubbling within the aspiring Pro Hero.
Once the two had fully exited the room, David allowed his smile to drop as a shadow enveloped his eyes.
"Sam."
The man in question jumped slightly as his attention focused on the scientist before him.
"Huh?"
"You should take a break too."
The man's tone left no room for argument, causing the shorter man to nod before exiting the room, his face plagued with concern.
"So what should I call you?"
The Jujutsushi in question tilted his head back as they walked, allowing himself to think over the question.
Before long, his head returned to its original position as the answer made itself known at the forefront of his mind.
"You can call me Deku."
The name slightly caught the teen off guard, causing her pace to slow briefly as her eyes briefly widened.
"Deku? That's kind of a strange nickname."
The aforementioned teen chuckled before nodding his head, his bright blue eyes focused on nothing in particular.
"A little, but it means a lot to me."
The sincerity and mirth behind his words infected the blonde, forcing a smile back onto her face.
Raising her right arm, the blonde used the appendage to point to herself as her eyes closed lightly, resulting in a closed-eye smile.
"You can stick with Melissa with me, Deku."
"Holy! This place is amazing."
An excited smile planted itself firmly on the Jujutsushi's face as his Six Eyes scanned their surroundings, taking in the variety of multicolored buildings, costumed mascots, etc.
The blonde beside him shared in his enthusiasm as she wore a smile of her own, watching as the aspiring Pro drank in the sights of the island.
Before long, Melissa raised a digit, capturing the Sorcerer's attention as his bright blue eyes settled on her.
"A lot of the Pro Heroes invited to the island will be at the big party tonight. Although, I'm pretty sure you already knew about that, huh?"
Turning her torso away from the Sorcerer, the blonde began to walk toward their next destination as Izuku let himself thin over her words.
"So that's why All Might told me to bring formal attire. Glad I had some already."
Chuckling to himself, the Jujutsushi returned his attention to his blonde tour guide, just in time to watch her excitedly point toward a massive building.
"Look! Over here!"
Following her extended digit, the Sorcerer allowed his Six Eyes to take in the hulking building, its front covered in glass panes as blue highlights served to accent the egg-white paint wrapped around the concrete.
"You definitely have to check this place out."
Upon hearing the eagerness contained within his tour guide's voice, the Jujutsushi broke out into a grin before nodding, following the blonde inside.
And he was glad he did.
As soon as his body crossed the building's threshold, various support items, both well-known and completely foreign, made themselves known to the teen's Six Eyes.
"I've never seen so many support items in one place!"
As the words left his mouth, images of a dread-headed grease monkey flashed into his mind, causing a laugh to flee from his throat.
While doing so, Melissa grabbed one of the aforementioned items before sliding it onto the aspiring Hero's head.
"A majority of these are made from emerging technology, even this helmet. It has 36 sensors that allow you to see around your body alongside a zoom lense lets you see up to 12 kilometers!"
From their position within the helmet, the Jujutsushi's Six Eyes watched as several feeds materialized before them, each displaying a different angle from around the Sorcerer's body.
"They're kinda like my Six Eyes."
The comment instantly briefly confused the woman before said confusion was hastily replaced by curiosity, her eyes seemingly burning with the aforementioned emotion.
"Six Eyes? Is it a part of your quirk? What does it do?"
The dump of questions caused the Jujutsushi to chuckle as he slid the helmet off his head, returning it to the appropriate stand.
"It's a part of my quirk yes. And, besides letting me see clearly, it allows me a 360-degree view of myself alongside the ability to see upwards of 30 kilometers with little strain."
The blonde felt her jaw slack.
"And with some strain?"
The Jujutsushi chuckled as he scratched his cheek, his mind briefly flashing to his internship and the crisis that took place during it.
"I was able to see an entire city..."
The blonde felt her jaw detach.
Taking note of the blonde's bout of shock, Izuku decided to change the topic in hopes of alleviating her of her current state.
"S-So you go to school on the island?"
The question reached its intended effect as the blonde snapped out of her stupor, her mouth no longer slack.
"Yeah. I hope one day to become a scientist just like my father. Although, I need to study way more if I want to reach that goal."
The girl's sentence was punctuated by a giggle, causing the Sorcerer to do the same.
"I know what you mean. I have a lot of work to do if I wanna become a Special-Grade Sorcerer."
Clenching his fist, the teen allowed dark blue flame-like energy to envelop it before cutting the flow, causing the Cursed Energy to dissipate into the air.
A comfortable silence befell the two as their eyes settled on the massive jet displayed before them, each reflecting over their idols and their paths toward matching and then surpassing them.
Before long, however, that silence was suddenly interrupted by an all too familiar voice.
"DEKU!"
As though programmed to do so, the teen spun on his heel, opening his arms just in time to catch the brunette slamming into his torso.
Wrapping the teen in his arms, Izuku leaned down, capturing the lips of his girlfriend in his own.
Instantly, the duo felt a sense of security and mirth flood them, as though they'd finally reunited with the missing half of their soul.
Their lips parting, the couple looked each other in the eyes, both wearing grins that reached their eyes.
"I missed you."
Those three words seemed to amplify the brunette's smile a thousandfold as she eagerly placed another kiss on the Sorcerer's lips.
"I missed you too."
The two remained still, allowing themselves to drink in the presence of their partner as much as possible as though saving up for the next time they'd be apart.
Unfortunately for them, however, they weren't alone.
"Ahem. Hey, Midoriya."
The sudden interruption caused the couple to turn their attention toward the source of the voice.
"O-Oh! H-Hey, Jirou, Yaoyorozu."
The aforementioned teens returned the greeting, each sporting a light dusting of pink on their cheeks upon seeing the reunion of the class couple.
"Are these your friends?"
The question shifted the attention away from the Jujutsushi and onto the blonde standing behind him, her head tilted slightly as confusion and curiosity hid within her eyes.
Pulling away from the brunette's embrace, much to the displeasure of both of them, the Sorcerer raised his arm before using it to gesture at Momo and Kyouka.
"Uh, yeah, these are my classmates Momo Yaoyorozu and Kyouka Jirou..."
His sentence trailed off as his face flushed, Six Eyes nervously settling on the brunette he was holding moments earlier.
"A-And this i-is my g-girlfriend, O-Ochako Uraraka!"
As soon as the words made it past his lips, everyone present blushed, trying their hardest to avoid locking eyes with the couple.
Eager to turn attention away from his current relationship, Izuku gestured to the blonde behind him, his smile slightly forced.
"Guys, this is my friend, Melissa. She was just showing me around the Expo a little bit."
Recognizing her queue, the blonde offered the trio a smile alongside a light wave before lightly bringing her hands together.
"How about we all grab tea at the cafe?"
"Wow! You really got to work with Pro Heroes?"
The brunette in question raised her hands, shaking them reverently.
"Just normal training and a few patrols."
The blonde nodded before shifting her attention to the rocker girl sitting beside Ochako, a curious glint behind her eyes.
Smiling lightly, the lavender-haired teen sat up slightly, crossing her arms as she did so.
"I helped out with a hostage crisis, but only the evacuation part."
Attention then shifted to Momo who lightly hung her head, a slight blush tinting her cheeks.
"Somehow, I ended up in a TV commercial for hair products."
Without missing a beat, Melissa offered the raven a warm, close-eyed smile.
"Sounds like an experience. Lucky."
The table fell silent as the quartet turned their attention toward the greenette seated at his own table.
Sensing their eyes on him the Jujutsushi turned his eyes to the group, a weak smile on his lips.
Brimming with curiosity, the blonde flashed an excited smile back as she leaned forward slightly.
"What did you do for your internship, Deku?"
Raising an arm to the back of his head, the teen offered a weak chuckle in response, Six Eyes turning to catch sight of anything but the group before him.
"I uhhh...I took down Stain."
The admission shocked the blonde third-year as memories of the news articles mentioning Stain's takedown flashed through her mind.
She had heard it was someone young, someone she presumed to be an up-and-coming Pro.
NOT a 1-st year in high school.
Before she could even comment on the revelation, a voice stopped her as a tropical-looking drink was set before the Jujutsushi.
"Thanks for waiting!"
The voice was familiar to the UA students, causing them to shift their attention towards the source.
"Kaminari?"
"And Mineta?"
"What are you two doing here?"
The aforementioned electric teen flashed a thumbs up to his rocker classmate as his other hand held a tray close to her chest.
"They needed extra wait staff, and since it meant a free trip to the island we applied to work. Right?"
The grape head nodded as he set down four parfaits for the girls' table.
"And we get to explore the island while we're here...but we really needed the money."
The latter half of his sentence earned him a giggle from the table, causing the boy to flush as he returned to Denki's side.
Turning toward the girls at her table, Melissa motioned her head toward the two.
"Are they also your classmates?"
Overhearing the question, the two teens struck a pose, grins prevalent on their faces.
"Yup!"
"We're basically Pro's."
Before another word could be uttered, however, a new, louder, voice made itself known to the group.
"Why are you two slacking off? You said you wanted to make more money, didn't you?"
The voice, paired with the rapidly approaching form of one Tenya Iida, caused the two boys to scamper, putting distance between them and the table.
Recognizing the voice, Ochako turned toward the bluenette, her expression displaying her confusion.
"You're here too, Iida?"
Turning about face to meet the brunette's gaze, Tenya nodded his head as his arms swayed in a manner not dissimilar to a robot.
"I come from a long line of Heroes. It's to be expected that we received an invitation to the Expo. However, the rest of my family was busy so its just me."
A look of knowing settled upon the raven sitting at the table as she brang her left hand to her chest.
"I wondered if you'd be here. I received an invitation because my fathers a shareholder in some of the Expo's sponsor companies. it's so fun to get to go to the preview."
The rocker beside her took the opportunity to add on.
"Yeah. And she had a few extra plus ones, so we basically gambled for 'em."
"Mm-hmm. The other girls are here, they jus can't visit the preview."
The Jujutsushi's eyes widened slightly, ignorant of the reality of his classmates being on the island.
"Oh, are they really?"
Momo nodded.
"Uh-huh. We're all planning to look around together once the Expo opens up to the public tomorrow."
Interjecting into the new conversation for the first time, Melissa eagerly grabbed the attention of those present with a suggestion.
"Here's a thought. Why don't I show you girls the sites?"
The offer brought forth smiles from each of the girls as they leaned toward the smiling blonde, their eyes shining with excitement.
"You sure you have time?"
"Mm-hmm!"
The trio looked amongst themselves as their smiles broke out into grins.
"That's awesome!"
Their celebrations were cut short as a loud explosion permeated their ears.
Turning his attention to the direction of said explosion, the Jujutsushi stood from his seat, his brow slightly furrowed.
"What was that noise?"
"A clearance time of 33 seconds. He's in eighth place!"
Once the dust settled, an image of Eijirou Kirishima, his quirk fully activated, was displayed on the TV.
Further confusion settled upon the Jujutsushi's face as his eyes slightly widened, clearly not expecting the redhead to be present at the Expo as well.
"Kirishima?"
"So I'm guessing he's from UA, as well?"
"Yeah, he's in the same class as us"
Before the conversation could continue, the announcer spoke again, introducing the next contestant.
"Please welcome our next challenger!"
The aforementioned next challenger, upon walking into the combat arena, inspired a look of confusion and discomfort within the Sorcerer.
"Katsuki?"
Continuing his stride to the start line, the aforementioned blonde patiently waited for the game to start, his palms crackling with explosions.
"The Villain Attack course has been reset. Ready. Go!"
The moment the word go had been uttered by the commentator, Katsuki exploded from his starting point and toward the closest target.
Using his left hand, the teen exploded the metal bot, using the momentum from the blast to carry him right above the second target.
Leaning forward, the blonde let loose another explosion, destroying the robot and launching his body forward, feet first.
Feet first into the third robot.
The teen then used his explosions to right his body, flying the fourth robot and slamming it with an explosive left palm.
Using the momentum of the explosion, Katsuki made contact with the fifth target, hitting it with another point-blank explosion, this one angled so as to propel him upward.
"DIE!"
Reaching forward, the blonde grabbed the head of the sixth and final robot, slamming a point-blank explosion into its head and destroying it.
"Look at that time! Only 15 seconds! First place!"
The revelation of his placement served to stamp an arrogant smirk onto the blonde's face as he walked back toward the starting area.
"Hey. Isn't that Midoriya in the stands?"
He was no longer smirking.
Raising his head, the blonde locked eyes with Izuku, irritated ruby reds meeting irritated sky blues.
Without warning, the blonde used his quirk to launch up to the stands, latching onto the guard rail before leaning in close to the Sorcerer.
"Of course, you managed to weasel your way in, Izuku!"
"I was invited, Katsuki."
The two continued their staring match for a few seconds before Katsuki pulled back, using a hand to point to the course.
"Like I care. If you're really good enough to get invited then go down and try to beat my score. It's not like you can."
The Sorcerer in question furrowed his brow, a retort bubbling in his throat.
"This is insane! Fourteen seconds! This gentleman has jumped to the top of the pack!"
The announcer's words were enough to stop the feud brewing between the two teens as they turned their attention to the newcomer, both shocked upon seeing who exactly it was.
"Todoroki's here, too?"
"Another one from UA?"
"Yep!"
"Your class is amazing! You're gonna be such great Heroes!"
The compliment caught the girls off guard, pink hues enveloping their cheeks as they profusely thanked the girl.
Izuku and Katsuki, however, were more focused on the arrival of Shoto Todoroki.
Down at the entrance, Eijirou shifted his fierce red eyes from Shoto to Katsuki before finally settling on Izuku, a look of realization befalling his face as he did so.
"1-A's Big Three are in one spot!"
The teen's words caught the attention of his fellow UA students, their expressions mimicking his as their eyes flashed from one boy to the other.
"1-A's Big Three?"
Turning back to Melissa, Kyouka offered the teen a smile as she motioned her hand toward the aforementioned Big Three.
"They're the three strongest students in our class. Midoriya, Bakugou, and Todoroki in that order."
The blonde responded with an understanding nod as she and the rest of her group settled their eyes on the aforementioned Sorcerer.
Noticing their looks, the teen's brow lightly furrowed as confusion overtook his features.
"What's wrong?"
Ochako returned the look with a smile as her head nudged to the villain course below them.
"Oh, nothing. It's just, that you're the only one of the three who hasn't run the course."
A chorus of agreement rang out as the group eagerly waited for the Strongest to complete the villain course.
Upon seeing the look of his classmates, Izuku exhaled before grabbing the railing and using it to throw himself over and down onto the starting line.
"We've got a new challenger coming in at the last minute! Will he end up on the top or fail in front of the entire Expo?"
Ignoring the comment from the announcer, the Jujutsushi felt for the familiar well of Cursed Energy and pulled on it, flooding his body with strength.
"If I'm doing this, I'm gonna go for it."
Pulling on that Cursed Energy further, Izuku rotated it forward into Limitless, the act of doing so sending nearly debilitating pain through his skull.
"The attack course is set! Ready. Go!"
Bringing his hand upward the Jujutsushi activated his technique, causing a blue or to materialize in the space above his outstretched palm.
"Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue."
As soon as the words were uttered, the teen swung his arm in a wide arc, sending the blue orb barreling into the mountain,
Destroying it completely.
The spectators fell silent as they laid sight of what was once the highly sophisticated Villain Attack course.
And what was now rubble.
Snapping out of her stupor, the announcer grabbed her fallen headset from the ground before resting it atop her head and pulling the mic to her lips.
"N-Nine seconds..."
Naruto30: Pls don't tear away ochaco from Izuku. They're cute together in every universe. Maybe turn into poly stuff if u wanna include kyoka and the others.
Also how could Izuku also de explosion? Did he copy it or use a technique similar to AFO?
Excellent chapter. Waiting for your next update
Ant: Ion write harems twin but don't count Ochako out jus yet.
Fredward1:None of this shit makes sense logically. Why the fuck would a little kid run from a mental hospital towards an explosion and the parent is just fine with it? Also, all might said the dumbest shit l've ever fucking heard in my life from a fanfiction author. You need an offensive quirk in order to be a successful hero?
You're just trying so hard to make this version of izuku similar to his canon version.
Why he never fucking trained after having a quirk?
Doesn't make sense. Why he was still getting picked on when there's a dude whose eyeballs pop out a little further from his eyes? Doesn't make sense.
Nothing in this chapter makes any logical sense.
Izuku getting a quirk at the age of four would not result in him having very similar circumstances to his canon self. You're forcing it so hard it's almost almost unreadable.
Ant: Izuku ran toward the explosion because he's a hero nerd at heart and wanted to see a takedown. Additionally, he wanted to avoid Inko's questioning.
Inko wasn't fine with it, I never wrote her being fine with it.
You don't need an offensive quirk to be a hero.
However.
You DO need an offensive quirk if you want to be a Hero like All Might and that's that.
Without an offensive ability, Izuku would NOT be able to fight villains on the same level or with the same efficiency as All Might, his goal, and that's that.
He has trained his quirk, it's right in front of you. He went from straining his eyes to see the flow of cursed energy as a kid to being able to see an entire fucking city by the time he was in junior high. If that's not training/progress then I don't know what the fuck you want from me but find it somewhere else.
Izuku is still getting bullied because much like in canon, he's aspiring to be a Hero on the level of All Might despite having a quirk Katsuki deems as unworthy, despite being seen as powerless by the blonde.
In canon, he was bullied because he aspired to be a hero like All Might despite being quirkless.
"B-But what about the other kids."
Those kids didn't say they wanted to be Pros on the level of All Might and, by proxy, Katsuki.
They "knew their place" so to speak.
If Izuku decided to go into police work with his quirk or a different field then Katsuki wouldn't have bullied him as the blonde would have seen it as Izuku knowing his place.
Izuku getting a quirk that isn't seen as useful for combating villains at the level of All Might yet still deciding to pursue that goal would very much result in similar circumstances to his canon counterpart.
When you get down to brass tacks, Canon Izuku and this Izuku both are seen as weak by Katsuki when compared to himself and All Might yet they still wish to be on par with the two.
This is something Katsuki does not like and as such he attempts to put the boy in his place in both my fic and canon.
Next time, think before you review and use those reading comprehension skills I pray you have.
Anyways, I know it's been ah while but I had hella ideas for fics and I got ah little carried away.
We back tho, word is bond.
