This chapter is big. It's a double labor research both go to the library and be in ion's library. Researching some big things. I will not give all that away yet in this story in this chapter, but I hope you'll enjoy chapter 17. We're almost through the scarlet timeline for change timelines. We're almost through this part. I don't know how much of it will be original and how much of it now will be still somewhat canon for the storylines, but I hope you're enjoying the change timelines and some of the changes I have made to this timeline so Canon some or not they'll be at least a couple of chapters that won't be canon then I'll let you have a clue that the next chapter will not be a Cannon chapter. Luther and I woke up together holding each other. We gotta get up now I said, whispering to him. He hummed for a moment round and rolled over holding me close. Can I just hold you for a moment he asked we gotta get up. I said we have work to do. He smiled. OK of course we do. We need to do that research. We gotta research how to defeat the ruby dragon, right I smiled yes OK we're gonna have a eat breakfast. Make sure the kids get eat eat something and you and me and Riley will go to the library inside this place and if we can't find anything, we'll leave Riley alone to research and we can do something else deal I said.

We got up and took a shower, not together but separately, and got dressed for the day. Every day was a beautiful day for us because we were together alone Horses chatted with Elise and checked on us from time to time we met her. I love Elise. She's so nice. She's the same age as Riley she's 14 and she's sweet. We are thankful that we have left the quarantine zones behind me working there in Luther living there. Our lives are a lot healthier now that we're not having to deal with that and the further I am here the further I'm away from soul, even though I still have to deal with him from time to time, but he can't touch me here in the union, which was nice. I'm glad he can't hurt me here. He can't hurt me here which I'm glad but I know Miss Helena, Miss Lena will want to try and hurt us by saying that I kidnapped Luther if that's what she wants to think then think all you want Helena, but I did not couldn't have your son. I rescued him. He willingly came with me so if you wanna argue with me about it, just come to my face about it later I said .

And I love him and I'm going to marry him so you can't stop me I thought those things as he took his shower and then I went to go take mine after that we fixed breakfast for the kids and we ate breakfast as a family like always after that the younger children went to play supervise by Zoe aura asked for the youngest two they were six so they had to be watched while we took Riley into the library.

What do you need Riley asked we were thinking we were wondering if you could help us research Ruby's dragon I asked what about him on a way to defeat Ruby's dragons oh yeah, we could do that. There's lots of research here in the library. Riley said I'm glad to help my parents, my mother, and father, she said, hugging us. Can you help me go through these terms I said, of course, Riley I will help gladly.

Must go through these toes she said, smiling as she helped us open one and one at a time. Riley was not a genius by any means, but she was not that stupid either flipping through the tombs we looked for things anything that would be useful to us about Ruby dragons and how to defeat them or at least pull them back a bit.

We spent all day looking through Tom's to take a break eat lunch and spend time with the kids for a bit and then we went back and researched again in the library to look for anything we would know anything we took the entire building, my father, not my father, but Riley's father has to rebuild. It's gonna take him some time. He's lost everything tombs everything he knew is gone. Riley smiled and was triumphant not because she found something to help us, but because she knew that her father was being crushed.

Vulgar's Academy was being crushed and crumbled to the ground. Without Luther there, without my love, the kingdom will fall on its own. It'll crash and burn. I wonder if we do return to the main timeline Luther will have everything he ever regained all of his wealth and we've lived here instead of it would change history that is for sure I wasn't thinking about that right now, but I was thinking about at the moment was finding information on Ruby dragons, how to defeat a ruby dragon, and what spell I used to reflect the flower reflect the power and fire magic the fact that those beast accumulate.

Because I know my brother wants to go there for a recruiting event, but not as a recruiting event he wants to go there and kill everyone he wants to kill and mass murder everyone that shows up at this event so any weapon I could get would be handy and helpful.

I think we'll continue our research tomorrow. Riley said tiredly we've been up all night. We need to get some rest and I need to put the kids to bed. She said going off to put her younger siblings to bed by Luther and I went to bed ourselves.

Because the next day we were going to go visit my Guild master, not your master and Claire in general, but I want to speak to Gilma Gunther if he's there if not, I'll deal with whatever Gilma is there even if it is Gilma Sinclair so that is what we will do Luther and I only Riley will stay behind and babysit the kids if she needs help there's a lease in Porsche.

Even though I've decided to resign from this guild, I will still return to save them from whatever my brother wants to do and I will just become a rolled mage and help anyone that's in need that is what I will do. I'll dedicate my life to that and that's what Luther has two we're not part of any we will be not part of any guilt no guild at all we will raise our family. We will sell our inventions and that's how we will make our money and maybe make a little on the side here and there of helping others. Maybe I'll have clients and I'll make money for myself and I'll travel from different places and help people and other places and I'll have clients from other places. It would be better than trying to be part of a guilt system where I have to worry about recruiting and be this and that and the other .

Worrying about being promoted or any of that kind of thing. I did fine without being in a guild. I have Luther I have Riley I have Aura. I have Zoe and we have Ash and that's all that matters and if we can't live here anymore in Orem Holla, we will move out to Ravenswood, where my father lives.

It'll be safer there maybe I don't know.

We ate supper and then we went to bed once again, loving each other, like like our lives, depended on it he held me close, feeling me, touching me, giving me what he needed to give me and I gave back floating back with him. We kissed and lingered and filled each other telling each other we love each other more than anything in this world. My belly was starting to show. Of course, I was pregnant with my brother's child. Luther felt it too. He put his hand there. I wish I had taken you sooner. I could've killed this. I don't know if the baby will be evil I said children are usually born innocent right not often he said if the seed is evil, it should be right we'll have to have that tested on our own I said, but if it is my brother's child and they turned out fine will you keep it? I'm not sure Luther said, but I'm not getting rid of you because of the child that's what he thinks and if the baby is innocent, it's probably born with defects. I knew that

Don't worry he said one day I'll give you my own. I smiled if you lived that long, I said I will. He said I promise I'm not going anywhere, Scarlet. He said he held me close and kissed me again. Maybe we'll be lucky and the child won't hear anything if your brothers OK I'll go on with the pregnancy. Then I said as I snuggled close even if it was your brother's child. We will legally adopt a child as our own. Are you sure my love is precious again and then when the time is right we will have a child of our own? I smiled OK.

The child was born of rape. He said that means a child is not their fault and it's inside a pure person like you I nodded and leaned on him.

But tomorrow was a bigger challenge tomorrow we were going Riley was going back into the library to do more research Luther and I well we're going to go to my guild talk to Gilma Gunther and if we can't get him, I guess speak to Guild Master Sinclair, even though that's not what I would want and then we'll go and confront my brother about it in Boulder and then we'll go to the blind library we had plenty of teleport orbs because Porsche gives us to gives them to us.

It's better than taking the Griffin transport so much.

And that was our plan, but we slept on that plan now tomorrow is a big day.

And we need to be well prepared.

I'll be going to visit with my guild Masters tomorrow, but I'm not going alone. Luther is coming with me. He will be standing the love of my life by my side for this I smiled happy contempt-loving.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep snuggled next to my love. I said let tomorrow come.

In this chapter, I hope you enjoy it. I thought it was a fun sweet chapter. There'll be another library chapter after this, but I wanted to do a different. I didn't wanna do both libraries and the same day because well in the game in the story the Guild Master Sinclare incident happens before that so I decided to split it up a little bit. These chapters will be three in a row of the similar, not similar, but in a row, I hope you enjoy this one and the next chapter in the next which will be chapters 18 and 19, so I hope you enjoy them.
