"Holy crutack, it snowed, this is awesome. Meaning no school." Emily heard Shocket blurt out excited.
It was a few days after the volcano project and Rocket had talked to Shocket about that, so things were good again so after waking up and seeing snow made the purple-mohawked excited plus was getting dressed in her snow clothes just as Rocket was coming to wake her and Emily telling them school wasn't happening making Shocket pumped running to the kitchen so she could have breakfast and then go outside to play in the snow hoping Linda could come out and play. "We're gonna have so much fun in the snow like a snowball fight, sledding down hills among other things. Then we're gonna have hot cocoa." she declared making Rocket chuckle at her plans handing her a napkin as despite being excited, she was making a mess.
"Oops sorry pops just excited, you know." Shocket told him.
"It's fine kiddo. Snow days are special so get it." Rocket said. Nebula grinned as she entered the kitchen seeing the snow knowing that her and Rocket's kits would be playing a lot and when they came back inside, they were having quiet time which Shocket dreaded especially when she had the wiggles so sighed seeing both kits run outside, hearing Linda ring the doorbell.
A while later, Emily, Linda and Shocket were sledding down a pretty big hill having a blast going fast, landing in a snowbank making Linda and Shocket giggle only Emily was shivering making Shocket frown hearing Emily say they needed to go home. "If we go home, then we have to have quiet time which I hate." Shocket said making Linda get it.
"Maybe after all this snow fun, maybe a lil quiet time is a good thing." Linda told her.
"Okay but just a lil quiet time." Shocket said as they went home making Nebula and Rocket relieved, as they'd made soup for lunch which would warm their kits up noticing they were needing it hearing Shocket telling them what they'd been doing all morning. "Okay honey plus after lunch, you guys might need either a nap or quiet time after an active morning." Rocket told them making Emily like that plan.
After lunch, Shocket was feeling calm along with her belly being warm and full yawning, surprising Emily seeing her sister going to their room. She was tucking herself and Quacker into her bed across the room from Emily's falling asleep
"Things are quiet, too quiet which is strange. Emmy's in the living room doing quiet time but we haven't seen Shocket since they got home." Rocket heard Nebula say. Rocket then ran upstairs to Emily and Shocket's room opening the door but relaxed seeing Shocket sleeping with Quacker kissing her furry head leaving the room. He told Nebula that Shocket was sleeping impressing her and Emily guessing Shocket had been tired after all that snow play and not liking quiet time, she'd decided to have an nap.
"We should let her sleep, or she'll be cranky." Rocket told them.
After a bit, Shocket began to stir and tucked Quacker in going over to her Lego table playing and creating stories as Herbert had introduced her to Lego so it was a creative outlet for her making Emily relieved she was awake. "Mommy and daddy were surprised you took a nap." she said seeing Shocket shrug.
