''And that my little kitties, is why this day is so important.'' Said the excited and love filled maid Carlotta, her eyes sparkling with joy as she gathered the curious little children around her. The warm glow of the festivities outside the palace seeped inside from the palace windows, illuminating the room where she regaled with the tale of their beloved queen and princess. With a gentle smile, Carlotta continued on, ''Today, we not only honor our king, our beloved royal family but we also embrace the magic of love that knows no boundaries. It teaches us to dream big, and follow our hearts.'' Her words resonated like the harmonious melodies of the sea, capturing the imagination of the little faces, as the children listened to every single word, eating up everything they could. Envisioning Ariel's underwater kingdom of Atlanatic, how the coral sparkled, as melodies of enchantment flew into the day that was the big anniversary celebration.

If you listened closely, you just might hear the rhythms of Sebastian the crab's musical harmony. ''And remember, my little ones,'' Carlotta added, her speech growing soft. ''It was Ariel's courage and kindness that turned peril into promise. It was her love that bridged the gap between our two worlds, and that will only continue on through the years as little Melody grows up into her kind heart, following her parents.''

The children's eyes widened with wonder as they pictured the fierce battle against Ursula, the sea witch, and the young couple, a moment in which turbulence and triumph was not always going to be the end result, if it hadn't been for the abandon, shipwreck that sealed Ursula's fate. ''Alright, my little ones, we really should be getting outside now, we don't want to miss the boat.'' Carlotta announced, clapping her hands together excitedly. The kids one by one jumped up from their spots on the floor, their giggles and shouts echoing off the grand walls of the palace as each followed closely behind Carlotta as to not fall behind, some of which couldn't help themselves dashing towards the entrance ahead of the maid, their little feet patterning against the polished floors, as they hurried to gather their celebration hats, and charmingly decorated gifts.

As the children burst through the doors of the open palace, the afternoon sun greeted them with a radiance, casting warmth, and golden rays down across their little faces, as the sapphire water sparkled twice its sparkle. In the distance, a majestic ship, adorned with vibrant streamers and flowers, swayed gently in the harbor. It was the very vessel that would carry them to the festivities, where joyous music floated through the warm air, heralding the jubilation prepared for the occasion. ''Look! Mama! There's the boat!'' Shouted a girl, pointing excitedly as they approached the shore line. ''Is there going to be cake?'' she asked, though no one seemed to be listening to her, as her tiny voice faded into the distance, there was just too much excitement in the air.

With Carlotta leading the way, the children clambered onto a smaller boat that would be taking them to the main, their hearts racing with delight at the prospect of celebrating an anniversary that most people always looked forward to each year! ''Remember,'' Carlotta said, as she settled them down into the seats. ''This day is about family and friendship, just like the story told us. Let's make sure we share our laughter and love with everyone.'' As the boat glided through the shimmering waves, the children looked around their surroundings, their cheeks red with awe at the sight of their kingdom from so far away.

The sight of the wonderfully crafted banners and streamers that fluttered in the breeze. ''I can't wait to see the princess! I hope she has the biggest cake ever!'' Gushed a second child, her little mind occupied by the thought of all the cake she'd be able to devour.
