Hello and welcome to another story that is inspired by JustyTurner's work and this one is an inspiration from another one of his stories, 'My Hero Academia x OP male reader: The hero from another planet' where I don't want to spoil the story but all that you know is that the male reader of the story is an alien from another planet.
Nuff said and let's leave it at that.
Once again, I intend on making it far different than his work where instead of an alien who is this powerful yet naive, typically a stereotypical example of a shonen protagonist, this MC is basically me taking inspiration from Assassin's Creed with the whole 'humanity is created by a precursor race who has highly advance technology and then gone extinct, leaving only humanity to inherit earth' and is much less naive, more cold, cynical and jaded at that, typically an example of what would you react if you are the last of your kind and the inhabitants that you thought were animals are now the dominant species of Earth, practically like that movie, 'The Planet of the Apes'.
Well, anyway, if you have anymore ideas, let me know in the comments below.
Now, on with the story.
Disclaimer: I do not own My Hero Academia and 'My Hero Academia x OP male reader: The hero from another planet' by 'JustyTurner'. They belong to their respective owners.
Now, enjoy.
Name: Eryx Terenos
Age: 238 years (appears in his late 20s by human standards)
Gender: Male
Physical Appearance:
Eryx stands at a striking 6'4" with a lean yet muscular build honed over centuries of survival and adaptation. His skin has a slightly metallic sheen, reflecting his otherworldly heritage, while his vivid teal eyes possess a depth that seems to hold centuries of wisdom and pain. His hair is long and silvery, cascading down his back like a waterfall, framing a face that is both handsome and weathered. His attire consists of a blend of advanced technology and minimalist design—a fitted high-collared jacket made from a flexible armored material that shifts colors based on his emotions. He wears dark, combat-ready pants with reinforced knee guards, well-suited for mobility, and a pair of sturdy boots that allow for silent movement.
Personality Traits:
Eryx is pragmatic and cold, often coming off as a hard ass to those around him. His jaded past has made him skeptical of human nature and society, which leads to a cynical view of heroism and moral righteousness. However, beneath his stern exterior lies a spark of kindness that occasionally surfaces, especially when he witnesses injustice or suffering. He possesses high intelligence, often analyzing situations ruthlessly and with purpose. Though he struggles with trust, his instincts and keen awareness allow him to navigate perilous situations effectively.
Background:
Eryx was born into the Terenos, a technologically advanced civilization capable of surviving in any environment. His people once viewed humanity as inferior creatures, manipulating them and using them for labor. However, Eryx, unlike many of his kin, became disillusioned with this view, preferring to observe and study rather than exploit. He lived a peaceful life as a humble citizen among his own kind, cherishing knowledge and the beauty in diverse ecosystems.
The cataclysm that led to his civilization's extinction came without warning—a colossal energy pulse that shattered the fabric of their society. Eryx emerged as the sole survivor, awakening in a world brimming with "evolved" humans, each harnessing unique Quirks. This drastic change left him feeling out of place, trapped in a world where the roles seemed reversed—the once-mighty now a relic amid the chaos of a new order.
Feeling bitter and anxious, Eryx grappled with anger towards a race he once viewed as primitive, now transformed into heroes and villains. That anger began to shift when he witnessed a young hero nearly fall to a slime villain. Unable to ignore the surge of instinctive nobility and courage, he intervened, saving the hero at considerable risk to himself.
This act became a turning point for Eryx. Despite his doubts about humanity and the ethics of heroism, he found himself drawn to the ideals upheld by UA Academy—a place where he could reconcile his cynicism with a desire to protect and save. The journey to becoming a hero was fraught with challenges, but Eryx embraced it with determination, using his unique physical prowess and enigmatic adaptive abilities—an origin that could not be erased, signifying the depth of his heritage and the unending possibilities for renewal.
Quirk:
Eryx's adaptation is not merely a Quirk but an innate biological ability from his ancient lineage. He can instantly adapt to any environment or situation, enhancing his physical abilities to extreme levels—such as being able to carry burdens far beyond human capability or adjusting his body to suit different elemental conditions. This power is so intrinsic that even heroes specializing in Quirk erasure cannot halt it, ensuring he remains an enigmatic figure within the hero community.
Goals:
Eryx's objective is multifaceted: to discover the truth behind the cataclysm that ended his civilization, protect those who cannot protect themselves, and ultimately find a way to reconcile with his past. He seeks to forge connections with his new companions, battling internal demons while navigating the complexities of the evolving world—all while navigating the blurred lines between heroism and the darker impulses of dominance that shadowed his own heritage.
Relevant Information:
Eryx often finds himself clashing with fellow students due to his cold demeanor and mistrust, but as he undergoes personal growth, he starts to form unlikely friendships.
His past haunts him, with flashbacks of his former civilization serving as both a guide and a haunt, constantly informing his worldview.
Eryx's most significant challenge is balancing his instinctual urge to protect with the need to overcome his biases against humanity, as he learns that true strength lies in understanding and compassion.
Well, hope you guys are enjoying the character profile I have made with my partner, Toolbaz for helping me with the story.
You may see it as cheating but let me tell you something that this isn't a competition and there are no rules to actually used AI and I have been enjoying with Toolbaz at how they have given me the story that I truly want to read.
It ain't perfect thoughts due to limited word counts and that the website basically get the characters wrong and what intentions I am making wrong but that just means if there is anything wrong, then I need to correct it.
Well, if you guys have anymore ideas, particularly me taking inspiration of a story from Wattpad that you think are interesting in concept but absolute garbage in writing and execution, let me know in the comments below.
As always...
Ciao...
