Chapter 1.
The boy awoke. His eyes snapped open to stare at the grey concrete ceiling. His breathing was measured and silent as was beaten into him at a young age. 5 seconds after he awoke, the door swung open and there he was. Lord Orochimaru. His master. He instantly knelt, ready to be commanded.
"Subject 148, go and strap yourself into the table today. We will be testing your Kekkei Genkai today."
"As you command, Orochimaru-sama." The boy ran, his short legs and arms propelling him forward with the slightest bits of chakra infusing them as he was taught. After sprinting for 10 seconds, he stopped and quickly strapped himself into a freshly cleaned surgical table with multiple straps and bolts. He knew that to be too slow or too fast would be to invite Lord Orochimaru's wrath. That wrath came in the forms of pain beyond his imagination. It had only taken 2 sessions with his master to realise it was best if he did everything perfectly.
The boy strained his senses so that he could immediately respond to whomever was instructing and teaching him today. However, he couldn't help but let out a whimper of a fearful sound when he recognised the scent and view of the person instructing him today.
"Hello there, Subject 148."
"Greetings, Kabuto-senpai."
"Today we will be testing the limits of your mutated Explosion release (Bakutan). You have previously been able to expel naturally disruptive chakra through your forehead Tenkestu which acts as shockwave while simultaneously dissolving atomic bonds in their most explosive reaction possible."
This sparked a faint memory in The Boy's memories and he subconsciously flinched into the straps. A time of peace for him. A time of love. The boy started to ask a question but one look at Kabuto's face forced him to stay quiet. He remembered the last time he had asked an unwarranted question; he still had the scars to remember them by.
Kabuto reached into his pocket and pulled out a lump of coal which he then placed on a stand around 10 feet away from The Boy.
"Now," Kabuto drawled," Focus your Chakra and imagine an explosion coming from this Coal."
Now what Kabuto and Orochimaru didn't know, was that surrounding the base in which The Boy was kept, was 4 squads of ANBU(Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai) alongside various other ninja from Konohagakure(The Village Hidden in the Leaves). These ninjas included many veterans from the Third Great Shinobi world war such as Kakashi Hatake, Might Guy, Hiashi Hyuga, Shikaku Nara and his teammates Inoichi Yamanaka and Choza Akimichi as well as the Legendary Toad Sage Jiraiya as well as the "Wicked Eye" Fugaku Uchicha to round out the task force. This was a Legendary mission and so it would take only the best to face it.
Using hand signs, the Hokage quickly summarised the battle plan. The ANBU were to explore and eliminate various underlings around the base while the Hokage and the Toad Sage were to take on Orochimaru. The other ninja were to focus on his second in command and then go and assist the Hokage in taking down his former student. Inu, leader of Team Ro was the designated leader of the ANBU squad while Shikaku Nara was the main tactician for the other shinobi.
Shikaku's mind was racing, his famous lazy behaviour was nowhere to be seen as his equally famous mind began plotting
